    Erin and the staff at Laurel Creek were wonderful! I handed her a box of decorations and things that were important to us, and she made my vision come to life. The facility is beautiful, the food was excellent, and our guests had an amazing evening. I would do it all again in a heartbeat!

    LCCC was amazing in every way. The weather was iffy all morning and afternoon, and they waited as long as possible for us to make the call to keep the wedding outside. It was so worth it, as we had the most gorgeous outdoor ceremony! Everyone raved about the food and the service was wonderful. Erin was so helpful leading up to the event and answered all of our questions. Hope was so attentive on the day of the wedding and made sure I had everything I needed. I never went without a drink in hand.

    Laurel Creek was an outstanding choice for my wedding! The director of events, Erin Schafer, was professional, accommodating, and highly responsive to my calls and emails. She went above and beyond to ensure that my experience was absolutely beautiful and memorable. The venue is breathtaking and serves as a great backdrop for pictures inside and outside including the beautiful bridge. The cocktail hour and reception spaces are beautiful, clean, and comfortable. Food is one of the most memorable elements of a wedding and Laurel Creek nailed it! My guests absolutely loved the food! Yes!!! Success! I loved every moment of my wedding day at Laurel Creek! I am so glad that I chose to host my wedding here. We had an amazing day and I would highly recommend this venue to every couple.

    Thanks to Erin and her team at Laurel Creek Country Club, my wedding exceeding anything I could have imagined. They listened to every little detail we wanted and worked extremely hard to surpass our every wish. They were supportive, generous with their time in the planning stages and always available when we had questions. The venue is fantastic with lots of natural light and comfortable seating throughout the facility. I would HIGHLY recommend LCC to anyone interesting in having their wedding and or reception. We had both the ceremony and the reception there and it worked out flawlessly. I have received numerous compliments from our guests in the month since the wedding. They loved the food, atmosphere, the attentiveness of the staff, and that the location was easy to access for out of town guests! I cannot say enough good things about LCC, Erin or her staff.

    Laurel Creek did a fantastic job with my wedding in April! First of all, it's very nice looking country club. Pretty from the outside and updated inside. Claudia the event coordinator is easy to work with and was able to accommodate all my requests. We had the ceremony and the reception in the ballroom. They were able to flip everything so quickly! On the day of I didn't have to worry about anything. Claudia made sure all the vendors were there and everything was where it needed to be. The food was really good and the service was great! It's a great place to have a wedding.

    During my wedding planning process we visited over 30 wedding halls looking for a dazzling setting, a reliable coordinator, attentive staff, and delicious food. I found all of this and had my dream wedding at the Laurel Creek Country Club.
    Claudia Howarth, the Events Coordinator at Laurel Creek (it really should say “Wedding Fairy Godmother” under her name) was amazing. Leading up to the wedding she helped me choose vendors, organized my floor plan, and gave me very good advice. The day of the wedding, I didn’t even have to think. All I did was show up. She made sure everything ran like clockwork from the cocktail hour until the last dance. Claudia was there every step of the way to make sure my day was perfect. And it was.
    Our personal attendant, Donna, was also an angel. She held my train, fixed the bustle on my dress, and got us anything we needed throughout the night without interrupting the few precious moments we had alone at our sweetheart table. She was very professional, polite, and sweet throughout the whole evening.
    The food was amazing (best crab cakes I’ve ever had), the staff was fantastic, and the grounds and hall were beautiful. I have never been more impressed with a purchase. They even packaged up the leftovers (meals and the entire desert table) for us to take home! Everyone said it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding. Get married here! Listen to everything Claudia suggests, get the crab cakes and scallops wrapped in bacon for appetizers and request Donna as your personal assistant. Your wedding will be perfect.

    Perfect place for a perfect day

    Obviously a beautiful place, but the venue coordinator really made this such a great choice. I didn't need a day-of planner because she handled all of the details. One of our number one priorities was food. My husband was adamant that we would not have the typical "gross" wedding food. It was so easy to customize our menu and the food was so good I wanted to change into some more comfortable clothes just so I could eat more! I was so disappointed that it rained on our wedding day so we couldn't take advantage of all of the beautiful scenery in our pictures. But it was still the perfect place and a great day!

    I loved and appreciated how Erin Schafer did her best to work with my budget and kept my date. Erin is very interactive, attentive and kind. Even though I might not pick this venue, because of her is a consideration and in the running of the top 5. Erin hospitality IS A 5 OUT OF 5.

    My fiancee and I visited LCCC on a friend's recommendation for a small wedding. LCCC definitely stood out among the other venues we visited. The location is easily accessible from 295. The clubhouse and grounds are beautifully maintained. I was set on LCCC when I saw the ceremony space outside, but even the alternative space being the ballroom or terrace room were great options for an intimate ceremony. Erin, the director of events, was friendly, professional, and responsive to any questions we had from the contract signing until the day before setting up time to drop off our wedding decor and alcohol. It is a BYOB, which was actually a big plus for us because we are not big drinkers and preferred to have an open bar of beer and wine. As we neared our wedding date, I reached out to Erin to discuss some final details and she suggested we meet. She really helped put my nerves at ease by creating a rough timeline of events to help me visualize the day and know what to expect. On our wedding day, everything seemed to run smoothly. They let the florist remove the pink planters, or hide them at least so they could put my vines, ivy and grapes around the existing trellis at the ceremony site. Our guitarists were able to run an extension cord, though we had to remind them of this a few times... I'm sure it is not a standard request. It all worked out. Life is that way, nothing is perfect but the day was as close to it as possible. We are so happy in our decision! Thank you.

    I need to spend time talking about the food. I have been to many, many wedding... some luxurious weddings at that, but the food at LCCC is top notch. We had a tasting in June and there was not one thing that was not executed well. I kept worrying if there would be enough food in the regular package, 5 passed appetizers and one culinary display... there was PLENTY of food. I received so many compliments on the food, presentation and taste! We chose a buffet style reception meal.

    Laurel Creek does all their own catering... and the food was AMAZING! Complete with a sorbet intermezzo. Could not have asked for better white glove service! I found the club very accomodating when it came to making changes to their normal protocol, however implementation of those requests could have been better. In the end, everything was the way we wanted it, but several requests had to be made to ensure that. You are able to rent the Terrace Room for additional hours, which we used for the ceremony and it was the perfect alternative to a church ceremony. High ceilings and a long narrow room provided the coziness we were looking for and the long aisle I've always wanted. Overall, a very professional attitude and well worth the $!!

    perfectly planned with flawed execution

    During the tour of the venue, we met with Erin and really liked her. We felt like Erin would really help make our wedding dreams come true so we booked at LCCC. The planning process with Erin was great--she responded promptly to my email and eased all of my fears/concerns/worries etc. Unfortunately, the execution of our hard work did not go as planned. We had a few issues that would deter me from recommending LCCC. First, the Chef lost/misplaced our cake topper. It was delivered with the cake and then the chef put it on his desk with a ton of papers and no one knew it was there. I know Erin searched the kitchen for the cake topper and could not find it....well, she was never going to find it when the chef puts it into the office and does not tell anyone. Second, during the planning process, we were told that we would have a bridal attendant who would be with us all day; she would bring us food during the receiving line, go out with us during pictures to make sure we knew where we were going on the golf course etc. Unfortunately, our bridal attendant was terrible. She disappeared throughout the day whenever we needed her to do something. As we were getting ready to take photos on the golf course, she was no where to be found. Erin had to hunt her down to come out with us. After we came in from the ceremony to start the receiving line, I was so thirsty and wanted water. Courtney was no where to be found. Erin had to chase her down to get us water. Ultimately, my photographer stepped in and covered alot of Courtney's duties throughout the day. I know that Erin spoke with Courtney about her disappearing act throughout the day but it did not seem to help. I am not sure if Courtney does not like being a bridal attendant, does not like Erin or whatever her issue is, but she was a terrible bridal attendant. We spent significant time planning our wedding with Erin but the details did not translate to service. For instance, my husband is gluten free and we brought a gf cupcake for the cake cutting. Erin and I discussed this several times. The banquet manager was Mr. Nasty about it. She wanted to know why there was a cupcake and scoffed at me when I explained and asked her to cut the cupcake in half for the cake tasting. My interactions with the banquet manager were limited and I am rather happy about that as her attitude was off putting to say the least. We provided guests with confetti to throw while we were walking down the aisle. I brought an extra bag of confetti too in case we wanted to use it. When we asked about it, I was told that there was not any confetti left. Of course, when I picked up the leftover items from the wedding, the bag was there. We also did not get our welcome sign back either. Overall, I am very torn about this venue- Erin was wonderful during the planning process and the day of the wedding. But unfortunately, the execution and actions of other LCCC employees were terrible.

    We held our wedding at Laurel Creek in late June 2014. Their coordinator Erin was easy to work with during the planning process. She kept us on track and was always very responsive. On the wedding day, they allowed us to come to the venue early and take pictures on the grounds, which resulted in some beautiful photos. They set up the ceremony site very well, putting the chairs in the shade facing a pretty archway and offering cold drinks to our 160 guests. The cocktail hour was well done too. Unfortunately, our experience deteriorated during the reception as there were a number of missteps. The most obvious was the two hour wait between salad and main course service. Some tables did not receive their entrees until 10pm (the reception started just after 7) and according to our guests, some were even offered dessert before their entrees were served. The quality of the dinner entrees was inconsistent and the servers were slow to clear once dinner was finished. Lastly, the tables were set up in the wrong spots, and many tables did not have enough place settings, which caused a scramble to find seats. All of this was embarrassing for us as hosts of this reception. It was not how we wanted to feel at our own wedding reception.
    The biggest disappointment of all was Laurel Creek's treatment after the wedding. We made an investment to hold our wedding there and we met our contract obligations. We were organized and easy to work with throughout the planning process. With this in mind, we expected to be treated fairly and with respect when we raised our concerns after the wedding. Instead of acknowledging their mistakes, the management team provided a variety of inadequate excuses and refused to consider an equitable refund. We are disappointed to end our experience on an unhappy note and we wish that Laurel Creek chose to do the right thing.
