  the most amazing photographer!!

  where do I even begin. Laura is the most amazing person and photographer I could have ever asked for!!! She is incredibly easy to work with, organized, and responsive. We are not super comfortable taking pictures, and she made the whole process so fun! We never felt awkward in front of the camera or felt like we needed to "pose". Laura traveled up to Kansas City to take both our engagement and wedding photos, which all turned out better than I ever imagined. On the day of our wedding she managed to keep us on schedule (which with big families and a big wedding party is a miracle in itself), get all of the photos on our list, AND make it seem like we had all the time in the world. She is a breath of fresh air. My one piece of wedding advice? RUN and book her immediately!

  Worth Every Penny

  Laura is a talented photographer! She is nice, patient, professional and responsive. I never looked good in my photos, but Laura changed it. My wife and I love the photos that Laura had for us in our big day. All the happy moments and joyful atmosphere with the guests rewinds when we look the photos, and we are so grateful that Laura captured them so vividly.
  Laura is like another wedding manager for our day. We had no idea what’s a wedding day going to look like, but Laura helped us sort the itinerary out in our first FaceTime call. She is very considerate and called out unnecessary hours to save us money. In our big day, she coordinated with our videographer actively on where and how we take portraits. Even our guests were talking to us about how good and patient our photographer is. Everyone said the money we spent for photographer well worth it.

  Laura is one of a kind, her photography captures the essence of a couples love, she is not typical photography she is unique and inspirational, I was so extremely happy with our choice to have Laura at our special day, Our Wedding. I promise she will not disappoint...

  I could not be more pleased!!

  Authentically capturing the entire day's emotion

  Laura was the easiest part of our entire wedding! She is so light-hearted, kind, a quick problem solver and seeks to find the "picture-perfect moment" in every situation. She does an incredible job of capturing the details of your day, the loved shared by many and the overall atmosphere of the entire day. Organized, proactive, creative, and affordable-- she is hands down the photographer you need!

  Highly Recommend Laura Lee Powers Photography!

  Laura and her husband captured the most beautiful images at my wedding I could have ever imagined... It was a winter wedding and it definitely snowed and was absolutely frigid. They snapped photos quickly and caught the most amazing shots where we somehow look warm and like we're enjoying freezing! They worked with my guests and family as if they'd known them forever. They must instinctively know whats important that day, because they got some of the most amazing pictures I never knew I needed and they will literally be cherished forever. Flexible is an understatement, as this duo went with the flow and simply captured the nature of the day as it was meant to be- so organic. It was so fun, natural, and the photos are timeless. For the most part, I let her do whatever she thought best, and I've never regretted it. SHE'S THAT GOOD. (Sidenote- the planners, gown designer, bridal boutique, stylists, etc. are still posting her photos from my big day to their business' social media platforms 6 months later!! They LOVE them!) Thank you so much Laura!!!!

  Personal, Fun and Flexible!

  Laura made my dreams come true. My now-husband and I planned a very last-minute wedding with close friends and family. We did it all in 4 weeks. From the moment I talked to Laura, she assured me that we could do it and it would be great. Granted planning a wedding (albeit small) in 4 weeks was insane and terrifying, Laura made it all seem possible. A couple of the reasons I would highly recommend her:
  1. She is extremely flexible. From the moment I asked her to be my photographer with just a few weeks’ notice, she had booked her flight and was already going about the planning. On the day of the wedding, she had a plan and was able to flex it based on everyone’s schedule and the weather.
  2. She captured the little moments. While I wasn’t even aware Laura was shooting and captured the little details that really made the whole day come together.
  3. She made us feel comfortable. My husband and I aren’t huge photo people, in fact we hadn’t ever had a professional photo shoot before. Laura made us laugh and be ourselves which really showed in the pictures.
  4. Finally, she created lasting memories that I’ll cherish forever. I’m forever grateful for her ability to accommodate my ‘last minute' wedding and provide us with great photos from one of our favorite days.

  Wedding Bliss

  We are so happy with the job Laura did. She worked with me to see what I wanted for poses even suggesting that I create my pinterest/vision board, each little event, and even the mood for our photos. We now have so many beautiful posed and candid shots from our big day that we absolutely love!

  Amazing photographer!

  Laura Lee Powers Photography is AMAZING! First of all, my wedding photographer cancelled on me two days before my destination wedding, so my wedding pictures did not turn out at all like I wanted. Laura ended up doing a mountain side wedding shoot for me and my husband a few months later, and I could honestly cry looking at those pictures! They are so amazing and everything I wanted!! Laura has the best eye for photography, is up for anything, and is super fun to hang out with! I highly recommend!!!
