As a frequent shopper in Coconut Point mall, I had passed this store and admired the dresses in the window plenty of times. When it came time for dress shopping, Meg the Store Manager was recommended to me by some friends at another local business. Laura Jacob’s bridal was only my second location trying dresses, in a quick weekend shopping with my mom. There were other brides/customers there but Meg and the other staff members made me feel like I had the entire place to myself, and I ended up falling in LOVE with my dress! Had my full “say yes to the dress” bridal breakdown everyone hopes for, and I can’t thank the wonderful ladies here enough for helping me find the one! -

Dream dress with Laura Jacobs
Laura Jacobs herself is fantastic and the nicest! This was the third bridal shop I went to, feeling defeated and just tired of the process by that time. I showed Laura pictures of my top contenders of dresses, and she pulled dresses for me. The first one I tried on, fit like a glove, and I didn’t want to take it off. Laura was honest and helped meet my budget. I only came with a friend, so Laura held my dress for me a few days to allow me to show pictures to my mom. Laura was flexible with appointments around my work schedule. Her team was friendly every time I visited the store. -

A wonderful experience for our daughter and I
We cannot say enough about how great an experience this was. We knew it would be a once in a lifetime experience and had no idea it could be so easy and fun. It was a quickly planned wedding. Laura Jacobs Bridal came through every step of the way....price, alterations etc. etc.
After spending an hour there trying on a few dresses we immediately cancelled our other appointments. Our daughter ended up with the first dress she tried ....they know their gowns and customers but it was fun trying on the beautiful dresses. Thank you Thank you!

Laura Jacobs Bridal were welcoming, helpful and professional from the day I called to book my first appointment until my last fitting. I ended up selecting the wedding dress of my dreams and cannot get over how beautiful it is! I purchased an Eddy K dress in December of 2020 and it arrived in April of 2021 with plenty of time for alterations. They ensured I felt beautiful and that my dress was perfect for my special day. These women are a great team! I was a challenge as I was having surgery and they had to guess as to what my final size would be. Their expertise in helping me narrow the field and find the dress of my dreams was priceless! The alterations were flawless--and I required a practical rebuild because I was post-surgical! They were professional, cheerful and a delight to work with. Most of all--THEY ARE DEPENDABLE!! When you look at these photos, remember that the dress did not come with sleeves! They BUILT them! -

Laura Jacobs bridal was my first and only place I shopped for my wedding gown. I had previously purchased a bridesmaid dress from Laura and helped my cousin find her wedding dress there. Laura knows her stuff and has many years in the industry. The shop is clean, organized and beautiful! There are tons of different styles available and they are very accommodating. Amazing Amazing Amazing!!!
Laura Jacob's Bridal was more than I could've ever asked for! Not only did they take me in as a walk-in, the owner herself helped me!! I was so incredibly nervous, especially being a plus size bride, but I never felt like anything less than royalty! I truly felt beautiful and they made sure I felt accepted, welcome, and appreciated! Laura Jacobs bridal gave me my dream wedding dress shopping experience and my dream dress at the perfect price for me! It was better than anything you could ever experience at Kleinfelds in New York! It was personal, and Laura was completely focused on me at all time and making sure I got exactly what I wanted!
From the first time I spoke to Laura on the phone back in September about my dream dress, to her helping me order my dream dress to be able to try it on at the store, to calling back to make an appointment, she was professional, excited, and so nice! The day of my appointment she was so excited to greet me and welcome me! She brought me veil after veil with no hesitation until I found the perfect one! Even though I knew the first dress I tried on was THE dress, she let me try on more just to be sure! She even played “here comes the bride” so that I could picture myself on the day of the wedding! She was so patient and I didn’t feel rushed not once!

Laura Jacob's Bridal is beautiful and they had the BEST selection of dresses! (And I tried on SO MANY and went to many different boutiques!) But their quality of dresses were unmatched elsewhere when I looked in Fort Myers and Naples! They were extremely professional and helpful and I absolutely LOVE my wedding dress! I also got a tiara and earrings from them and it completed my look! They also did an amazing job with the alterations for the dress! Highly recommend! -

Loretta and her team are out of this world! I searched everywhere for my wedding dress, traveled to go to different shops in search of the dress I was dreaming of. I kept being told I needed a custom dress and there was no dress made like what I was describing. Everyone was right, partially, I walked into Laura Jacobs Bridal and was welcomed with open arms and so were all my loved ones that I brought along with me. I found my dress at Laura Jacobs, but it needed ALOT of work. It was 14 sizes too big and could no longer be ordered, I was promised they could get it to my size and make it perfect. By perfect that meant to add sleeves and create the most gorgeous bustle I've ever seen. Yulia (spelling) created my dream gown and worked extremely hard to do so. My mom found her dream MOB dress at Laura Jacobs as well. We feel like family when we go there and they are honest, loyal, and overall just amazing individuals. I cannot wait to send everyone I know to them. I already have multiple girlfriends who have found their wedding dresses here and have had the same experience. Yulia can sound a little stern in her tone, but she is a doll and knows her Sh***T! We adore you all thank you soooo much! -

I purchased a Martina Liana gown from Laura Jacobs back in June 2018 while on vacation with my family who live in Ft. Myers. My wedding was November 9, 2019, which was a bit early to be shopping for a dress, but with a hectic work schedule I wasn't sure when the next opportunity would be to shop with my Mom, Dad and now Mother-in-Law.
From the start, the consultants in the shop were so nice and helpful! They were not pushy at all and chose dresses for my to try based on my preferences.
We told them our budget and when my father chose a gown off the rack, our consultant showed him the price tag before letting me try it on to ensure he was okay with the price before putting it on me. He confirmed the price and then when I put it on we ALL knew it was the PERFECT dress for me! We ordered my dress and veil right then and there and were quickly on our way to celebrate with a mimosa next door.
A few months later I returned to pick up my gown, which was a little large on me to be expected as they chose a size based on your largest body part (mine being my bust). I lost about 20lbs over the course of 7 months and started to become quite worried about alterations. Sadly, I could not have my alterations done at Laura Jacobs since I live on the East coast of FL and work 6 days per week, so I took my dress to another bridal shop near my home.
HUGE MISTAKE! But how could I have known?
Needless to say, after three fittings, it was the end of October, only 10 days until my wedding day and my wedding dress did not fit me properly, even though I had not lost any weight during this time. The other shop refused to perform additional alterations to make it fit me better and would not give me my dress without paying them. My mom and I were so distraught.
We called Laura Jacobs and spoke to the owner, Loretta, who we told what had happened. She was so sweet and accommodating! She re-assured us everything would be okay and had us come in as soon as I arrived to Ft. Myers on the Monday of my wedding week to take a look at my dress. She admitted to me that the other shop charged us an obscene amount of money for very poor alterations and bustling, but said she would do everything in her power to make my dress fit me comfortably. This wasn't an easy task as the entire top of my dress was HUGE on me and the sides needed inches taken in. Loretta took my dress to her HOME that Monday and had me return Wednesday afternoon to try it on. It fit like a glove! And she even fixed my entire bustle!
I WAS SO HAPPY I WAS IN TEARS! Literally!
After everything we had just experienced with the other store, we were so happy with how kind and caring Laura Jacobs was with us. She literally saved my wedding dress! She will forever be my fairy godmother. THANK YOU FOR YOUR KINDNESS. I will never forget all you did for us. You have my highest recommendation! -

Luis and I were married on October 11, 2019 at the Hyatt Regency Coconut Point. Our wedding day was like a dream, and more beautiful than we could have ever imagined it to be. Its been two weeks, and our family, friends, and guests are still constantly talking about how perfect our day was and how well it all came together. The owner is such a gem! She is so helpful, so sweet, and she truly wants you to find your dream gown! My dress was a Martina Liana from here and it was beyond all my dreams! The alterations fit perfectly, and they even reapplied lace that was taken from the bottom cuts so I didn't lose any of the details! They were so friendly and accommodating, and my sister-in-law also got her dress from here and I cannot stop recommending it to others as well. Wonderful shop! This is the best experience I have experienced. I was made to feel as I was the only bride in the world. Attention to detail and having you feel your best self in a dress that will best suites your body type.
They didn’t push items on you but allowed you to choose what you wanted.

I'll keep this short because i could go on and on ....... these ladies are AMAZING!!! This was my third appointment (i had appointments at 7 other stores/boutiques after this one)) and my mom had an emergency 30 minutes before my appointment and was unable to attend. I almost called and rescheduled but decided it couldn't hurt to at least see what choices they had. I was warmly greeted and felt immediately comfortable. After a conversation about my ideas and likes several gorgeous gowns were selected for me to try. I won't go on about all of them because i found THE dress on the second try. I was so excited and yet emotional because my family wasn't there to witness and experience this with me. That feeling was short lived when I saw the faces of Loretta and Claudia confirming this was it and I looked as beautiful as I felt. The time and care they show potential consumers is unsurpassed. I was lucky enough to fit into the brand new sample dress and only needed a few adjustment but one of those was along the neckline. Julie did a seamless (no pun intended lol) job of keeping the integrity of the dress. It looked flawless. Thank you ladies i will forever be grateful !!!! -

Absolutely amazing
If you are looking for your perfect dress, this is the place to go. Everyone I worked with in the store did a phenomenal job helping me find my perfect dress. My consultant did an excellent job of understanding how I was feeling about the dresses I tried on, and was able to pick out the perfect gown for me within 5 dresses. I was in love! They were very easy to work with when scheduling fittings also. Overall, the best bridal salon I went to, and I would give them more than 5/5 stars if I could. Everything turned out more beautiful than I could imagine! -

I was unfortunately looking for a dress for one of the most important days of my life during two very recent family deaths. Needless to say, I needed a lot of help and more importantly, compassion!! I cannot express how special these two women are personally, as well as, professionally. They found the most beautiful dress I could have hoped for at a very reasonable price!! They had many to choose from, but due to my circumstances, I didn't have time to order the sizes I would have needed in many of them. Nevertheless, they were able to make it happen and the complements I received at the wedding were overwhelming. I would highly recommend them for any special occasion you might have!!! Danielle Sent on 05/20/2018They helped me find a dress that was in my price range and beautiful! I had to buy off the rack because my wedding was only a few months away. I found the perfect dress for me; however, it was a size 10 and I needed a 2-4. They reassured me that they would be able to take it in without compromising the design. I was skeptical but went through with it. There were a few issues with the scheduling when it came to my fittings. One time the seamstress didn't finish the alterations and wasn't there to look at what needed to be fixed. One other appointment she actually forgot my dress so I had to reschedule. They were very professional about the situation and rescheduled at a day/time they don't normally come in. Also they made up for it with a big discount. Mistakes happen and they handled it well. Overall, was so in love with my dress!

Kristina Sent on 03/04/2018The team at Laura Jacobs is wonderful! At first I could not find the 'perfect' dress anywhere but came across a beautiful Eddy K gown. I called the boutique and they did not have the address but Lauretta loved the dress so much she ordered a sample! When the sample came in a few weeks later I went to try it on and it was a perfect fit. It was the perfect dress. I tried on a few others but nothing compared to the first dress. Unfortunately Eddy K did not make a matching veil but Lauretta said she could order the exact lace and have the veil made for me. How perfect! Once the dress came in, we only needed 1 fitting to get it perfect. Yulia, one of the lovely seamstresses, added additional lace to the back of the dress to cover a few spots on my back and you would never know they were added. The dress and veil made me feel and look like an absolute princess. I am so happy that I found Laura Jacobs Bridal!! :) I also plan to use their recommended vendor for dress preservation services. -

First of all, I want to say thank you to Laura, the owner, she was very sweet and helpful. Despite my beautiful dress and the awesome experience I had with Laura when I bought it, the whole fitting process was a total nightmare. I had to go twice for my fitting. The first time the owner was not there, so my mother in law, best friend, and I dealt with two total unprofessional people that I’m
not sure how they still have a job in customer service. I’m talking about the front lady and sales person, Barb, and the tailor (I can’t remember her name). It all started because while the tailor was pinning me, she had a problem with my best friend asking me in Spanish if the dress was feeling too tight. I guess she took offense and felt like her work was being questioned, and mentioned about her either 15 or 30 years of experience, (I can’t remember the years). She asked us not to speak Spanish which we were speaking English but some phrases in Spanish as we normally did, but who cares if we want to speak Spanish anyways. Her tone of voice and attitude was horrible and ask for us to not speak Spanish because she didn’t understand. We were not at all talking about her (If that’s what she thought) or about her doing a bad job. It was just my best friend being a best friend and asking how I was feeling with the fit of the dress. My mother in law, who does not speak Spanish, felt the need to say something to her as she felt bad for the whole experience. Regardless of my mother in law saying, “ they are best friend, there is nothing wrong with them speaking Spanish” etc, the tailor continued being rude. Here comes Barb from the front, and I thought “oh good, she is going to calm the tailor down”. Instead, sweet Barb, approached us to join her friend with the attitudes, as we weren’t being attack enough. Barb was super snobby, I never had such an awful experience when purchasing a service. She told me,” you know this is not a shirt from... (she thought about she was going to say, and then said: Target) Barb, I do not purchase in Target love. But regardless where I purchase, that is none of your business. All you should care about is that I purchase a dress from your store that wasn’t inexpensive and was paying for the alterations. I was a pretty easy customer and I purchase the same day. I left feeling disappointed about buying my dress from there. I decided to continue alterations because my wedding was soon coming up. During the second fitting, I was rushing not to be late because I wanted to have a better experience and did not wanted to disturb in any way their moods. Well, I ended up forgetting my shoes. Laura was there when I arrived, and as usual, very sweet. Laura was leaving and told Barb to tell the tailor when she arrive to fix something about the waste line, because it looked a little cricket to her. Laura left and 15 minutes after the appointment was set for, the tailor arrived. She looked in good mood, so I was relieved. All until Barb acted as she was the one giving the recommendations about the waste line and she totally turned on her and treated her poorly, that’s Karma I guess. Well the tailor was a little upset about the shoes but nothing major this time. Treatment wasn’t so horrible from her, maybe because she was late and felt bad, who knows?!. As I was checking out I’m not sure if it was a receipt or a card, I extended my hand to get it, but Barb threw it, or let it fall on the desk instead. Also she said to me “next time try not to forget your shoes” with a smart attitude, , and I told her, next time tell the tailor not to be late (totally unlike me, I’m very passive but Gad enough of her snobbishness) After my wedding, Laura sent me a card with good wishes. I thought about sending her a letter to tell her how things ran when she was not present but felt maybe she would never see it. I called and left a voicemail asking for her to call me back but never received a call. This happened about a year ago. However, every time I have a friend that is getting marry and is looking for a dress, I think about my experience. I decided to write this here, so brides are aware what you may be facing. I see a lot of good reviews, which is great, and I’m hoping they are redeeming themselves and learning to be better at their jobs.
I will add pictures as I did love my dress and despite the treatment, the store carry amazing looking dresses. -

Not too long ago my Fiance was looking at some of their dresses at a bridal expo. When she inquired about a dress she liked the member of staff rudely told her that it was 'way too expensive' and told her 'maybe we can look at something else for you' with ZERO interaction or information being shared. Literally made her mind up before she even helped her. This is Naples, FL you fool, you NEVER know who you are speaking to, and to be so insulting to a potential customer is disgusting. My fiance was devastated by the way she was treated, but is far too nice of a person to make a big deal. I only wish I was there myself to have intervened, but alas I am left with online reviews to make my point. I would never in a million years recommend this company to anyone based solely off of that single interaction. -

I purchased an off-the-rack gown from Loretta Violanti’s bridal boutique in Florida on March 15, 2026. The retail price was stated as $598, and I was told I was receiving 25% off because the dress was off the rack, bringing the price to $475.
Since I live in Michigan, I brought the gown home for alterations locally. When I picked the dress up from my seamstress on May 20, 2026, I noticed the original tag attached to the gown stated: “Instore gown $425 – Take home today.” I immediately contacted the store via email and provided a photo of the tag, simply requesting a refund of the $50 difference.
Unfortunately, instead of resolving what seemed like a straightforward issue, my concern was dismissed because several weeks had passed — despite the fact that I informed Loretta the dress had been with my seamstress during that time. I was also told my seamstress “took too long,” even though the alterations were completed exactly within the timeline I requested for my daughter’s wedding.
I was offered possible store credit instead of a refund, which is not practical given that I live in Michigan and have no reason to shop there again.
Loretta’s unprofessional email response to my request for the $50 credit provided no offer of store credit and attacked me personally.
The boutique itself has beautiful gowns, but my experience with customer service was disappointing. Basic customer service principles such as responsiveness, empathy, accountability, and consistency matter just as much as the product itself.
