  Laura was a dream to work with!

  We loved working with Laura for our wedding in the high desert! To echo what so many people have shared already - she is absolutely lovely to work with and we immediately felt comfortable in her presence. She has an incredible eye and we are over the moon with all of our photos. She was very responsive over email and got our gallery back to use within a few weeks. Highly recommend!

  Such an amazing photographer

  As someone who's rather uncomfortable in front of the lens, I felt so lucky to get to work with Laura. She's so chill and so understanding that her presence made things easier – both in the run-up and on the day itself. And bonus: her photos are absolutely stunning. Thanks, Laura!!

  Working with Laura was a dream!

  She has the most easygoing, chill style, and we felt immediately at-ease with her - it also helped that the conversation and laughter flowed easily.
  She photographed us for our engagement photos during the fall of 2020 (fully outdoors/distanced), and she was super conscientious and thoughtful about making us feel safe. She also photographed our micro-wedding (vaxxed/fully outdoors) in spring 2021, and I loved that she worked on her own (no assistants) because her eye and style is why we wanted to work with her in the first place. She floated seamlessly around, and she was never an intrusive presence at any point in the day. On top of having a wonderful eye and vibe, she's also responsive via email and sent us our full album within a month of our wedding. We would highly recommend Laura!

  Look nowhere else

  Laura is incredible, I am not sure where to begin with our gush. First and foremost, out of the 15+ vendors we hired for our wedding, Laura is one we still talk about months after. She is a lovely person, kind, compassionate and you feel immediately comfortable with her. We took engagement pictures with her a few months prior and knew from then that we were already blessed – the shots were amazing, and she totally cut through all our awkward, camera-shyness.
  At the wedding, she was a pleasure – she seemed totally invisible yet omnipresent. There were so many perfect candid shots, incredible scenes and moments that she captured perfectly. There was so much depth and story to all the photos she took – we spent forever just reliving all aspects, through all the detail and realness she managed to frame.
  She has actually gifted us a huge problem, in that we have to somehow select a handful of photos to showcase out of the hundreds of frame-worthy shots. (Literally, all of them could be on our wall).
  We couldn’t recommend her more highly, because quite frankly, I am not sure what else or what more we could want.

  Laura was the easiest vendor choice we made!

  Laura was the easiest choice we made for our wedding! I've followed her work for years and knew long before I was engaged that I wanted her as my future wedding. Her talent and eye for candid moments is unparalleled, and her ability to make both myself and my husband comfortable was valuable beyond measure.
  
  It's easy to see that Laura truly cares about the couples she's shooting and her photos captured our love on the most important day of our life perfectly.
  
  Laura doesn't over edit and lets the moments speak for themselves. She also used film for a few photos per our request, which ended up being some of our favorite photos of the day.
  
  The number of great pictures she took was truly unbelievable and we will be forever grateful to her and her assistant for effortlessly capturing our day better than we could have even imagined.

  Kind, Genuine, Reliable, Artistic, Overall Best Human

  I've told Laura at least 5 times that I want her to follow me around for the rest of my life and photograph every special moment for forever! Laura photographed our destination wedding in Croatia and she did an absolutely phenomenal job. She is kind, organized, authentic, reliable, calm, fun, and everything in-between. Her photography style is raw and genuine and she captures things with such an artistic perspective. Could not recommend anyone more.

  I assure you, look no further.

  Looking back at our photos from last year and I'm still in awe at how beautiful they are. I think I'm the 4th of my friends to be lucky enough to have Laura shoot my wedding and I will continue to keep the recommendations flowing. My husband and I are both camera shy and she made us feel great (ok, and she made us look great). Wish we could do it all again.

  Laura is THE BEST. Granted I don't have any other experience with photographers but I don't want to know anyone else. Laura's my gal. My dude and I eloped and were married at the courthouse. Laura took photos of us before and after the ceremony. She was easy going, funny and kind. I'm very much not interested in taking tons of photos of me and my guy kissing - that's strange - and she took ones that reflected our humor (and did get enough of us being mushy). She was even able to get an incredible shot of my mom, who always looks really stern in photos. We recently got our photo package and we got exactly what we wanted to invest in - photos of us looking fancy and in love, surrounded by our home town. Wedding photos are an investment - having Laura take them is a no-brainer.

  Laura is insanely talented!!! She made us feel so comfortable and we are sooooo awkward with photos. I highly recommend doing an engagement session, we LOVED how those turned it and it gave us all a chance to get to know eachother and be more comfortable. She is the sweetest ever and every other vendor has raved about her professionalism, how great she is to be around/work with and of course, her work! I want everyone I know to get married (again) so I can recommend her more. She's a 10!!!

  Laura was hands down the best vendor we worked with throughout the wedding process. She is a true artist on top of being extremely professional and easy to work with. We wish we had more events for Laura to capture! Our engagement and wedding photos turned out beautifully and we could not be happier.

  Where do I start? When the hubs and I started looking for wedding vendors I just browsed Pinterest for Joshua Tree weddings and after seeing a few blogs featuring Laura's work, we decided to contact her about our upcoming nuptials. She was quick to respond and we made a mad dash and booked her. We had some logistical issues so we had to turn our Joshua Tree escape into something local and she was so accommodating. She initially asked if we wanted an engagement shoot and we declined, but after reading what a good idea an engagement shoot actually was (a month prior to our wedding, yikes!) I contacted Laura and asked her if it was still possible, even with the short time left before our big day. She was all for it! Since we weren't able to get our Joshua Tree wedding, she wound up finding a fantastic little spot out in Palmdale that had some very Joshua Tree-like areas. We shot for a couple of hours with her and her (just as wonderful) cousin. I have to say that they both made us feel SO comfortable. We were able to be ourselves (and we're pretty damn goofy/awkward) and really relax. I'm so glad that we were able to do the engagement shoot because that was great prep for the big day. By the time October 10th rolled around we were ready to have our mugs photographed. We felt natural and just did our thing while Laura captured all the genuine moments. Instead of typical portraits, she captures the moments. When I look at our wedding photos, I know exactly what was going through my mind at that moment and it totally takes me back to that day. I would highly recommend Laura to anybody and I look forward to working with her again in the future. Thank you Laura so much for making a couple of awkward goofballs look like rock stars! =)

  For my fiancee and I, having beautiful wedding photographs was one of our top priorities. So I looked at at least 50 photographers before choosing Laura, and I'm so glad I did. Not only do we love love LOVE our engagement and wedding pictures, but she was such a joy to work with. She was super responsive to all our emails, was so flexible and willing to go above and beyond to get gorgeous shots, and was so kind and able to get us to relax and have a great time. We couldn't have asked for a better person to be there to capture or special day!

  Laura is just such an amazing photographer and beautiful person, she made it very easy to feel comfortable in front of the camera. I remember looking at a ton of photographers when I first started planning our wedding, but her photographs were what finally did it for me. She knows just how to capture the beauty of that moment and just has so many great ideas, I cannot wait to see my wedding photos! She even got to the venue early to scout the area for great photo ops, thanks for everything Laura!
