Before the wedding, Laura was attentive, informative, organized and professional. The day of the wedding, Laura was all of those things PLUS patient, creative and skillful.

  In our long search for a wedding photographer, I ended up asking several people that I went to high school with who they had used to shoot their weddings...I had seen photos on Facebook, and absolutely loved what I saw! Much to my surprise, all 3 people that I had asked told me that they had booked with Laura for their weddings! We initially thought we would not be able to book Laura because the packages were a bit over the budget that we had set aside for photography...but we liked her and her work so much that we ended up cutting a few things, and completely reworking our entire wedding budget just to be able to book her. And I can say that we’re 110% happy that we did! We have gotten so many compliments on our engagement pictures, and we know that our wedding photos will be just as beautiful!
  
  My now-husband and I had met with and interviewed several photographers before we met Laura and her husband (and partner) Jeremiah. It’s really kind of weird how you just ‘click’ with some wedding vendors, and not with others...but we instantly clicked with Laura and Jeremiah the first time we met them! Laura’s a total sweetheart, and has such a fun, vibrant personality – she really loves what she does, and it definitely shows! You really have to like your wedding photographer, since they literally spend all day with you on your wedding day...and Laura and Jeremiah are SO much fun to be around, and totally fit in with all of our friends and family...everyone had a blast with them!
  
  For someone who typically worries about everything, it was so refreshing to know that I didn’t have to worry about how our photos would turn out – I trusted Laura and Jeremiah completely, and knew that everything would be beautiful! I highly recommend Laura Ashbrook photography, and really cannot say enough good things about my experience. They did an amazing job in helping to make our wedding day everything we ever dreamed it could be! Thank you again for everything!

  Laura was everything I could hope for and so much more! She and her husband (who assists her at weddings) were such a joy to have around on my wedding day, and she captured every moment beautifully. She was also upbeat during the portraits, which was perfect for my bridesmaids and I. When it came time to capture the ceremony and reception, she knew exactly where to be so that she would get the perfect shot without being noticed- it was amazing. When I look back at my pictures, I can remember every aspect of our wedding. Not only did she capture everything, she did it with such insight and beauty! I would highly recommend her to anyone and everyone- she is worth every penny and then some. She was always prompt to respond to any emails and would go out of her way to make sure she captured my day perfectly. I only wish we could have done an engagement session with her as well! My wedding was in Savannah, GA and I couldn't find anyone in the area who could compare to her (she also photographed my sister's wedding in Fairfax, VA) so we paid the travel fee. It was definitely the right decision- Can't thank you enough, Laura!!

  We (my bride and I) loved the experience that Laura and her husband provided through the whole event! She is so fun and joyful, it made me laugh a number of times how excited she would get after taking various pictures. We flew them out to our california wedding, and they spent the day prior scouting out things. They knew exactly what to expect and have a lot of professionality! The pictures that they produced where amazing, and will stay with us as a beautiful reminder of our great day!

  Laura Ashbrook photography without a doubt went above and beyond what I envisioned in a wedding photographer. I met with many photographers and when I had the chance to meet with Laura, she was a breath of fresh air. She is passionate about what she does and is all about pleasing the customer. She was flexible with our schedule for the day of the wedding and was able to capture so many aspects of our wedding day. I would HIGHLY recommend Laura as your wedding photographer!

  Laura is absolutely amazing! I met with many photographers when I was searching for my wedding photographer. Laura was the most knowledgeable and most energetic person we met! She was able to quantify vague terminology that other photographers were using. I also loved that she was willing to come meet me at a location that was convenient for me during the initial meeting.   LAP is unbelievable. They are extremely professional and are willing to go above and beyond to get the most amazing pictures. Laura captured the sweetest and most tender moments of my day and for that I am grateful. She takes the time to get to know you, and is great at making everyone feel comfortable- which is important! She is extremely flexible, hilarious, and works her butt off to give you the most professional, creative and unique pictures I have seen! We loved LAP and couldn't have asked for anything more! My family loved the pictures so much that Laura is now doing my brother's wedding... we just can't get away!!

  But beyond her photography and artistic talent - she is caring, fun, and goes out of her way to make you feel comfortable. She took time to show us how to pose, where to look, etc -- it really helped us be comfortable and enjoy the photo sessions knowing she was making us look our best. Laura and her team did a great job capturing special moments during our ceremony and reception from many different angles. Laura was also great during the 'getting ready' session before the wedding. She was a calming presence, while at the same time, very encouraging and excited for us. She worked to identify and incorporate elements that were uniquely 'us' in the photos.
  
  Laura was prompt and responsive whenever I called or emailed. She worked well with our venue, vendors and wedding planner. She also helped us with our wedding day timeline - gave us valuable insight into how long certain photos would really take. I highly recommend doing your engagement photos or bridal portraits with her before the wedding -- besides the fact that its fun, you'll feel much more comfortable with all the photos you'll be taking on your wedding day.

  Laura and her team were absolutely fabulous! Every step of the way they were professional, fun, and honest. It was so important to me to have a photographer who told me if I had hair on my face or something that would bother me when I got the pictures back, and they did. Between Laura, her assistant, and second shooter, nothing slipped by them. They were able to capture every moment on camera but weren't in the way or pushy at all. I'm exceptionally happy with the proof book and CDs with all the images that were taken - things that were included in our package. Laura is very easy to work with and makes you feel and look so beautiful on your wedding day!

  Laura Ashbrook Photograph was absolutely wonderful. Our pictures turned out more beautiful than I had even hoped. They are creative and original taking pictures that reflected our personality and style. We felt completely comfortable at all times and would reccomend them to anyone that wishes their wedding day to be as unique as they are.

  Laura's creativity and attention to detail were phenominal. The photographs were unbelieveble and we could not have been happier with the results. She and her team were fun, attentive, and practically hanging from the ceiling to get the best shots - without being intrusive. We absolutely loved them.

  Laura went above and beyond what I thought that any wedding photographer would do at a wedding. Apart from making me feel like a million bucks every time she took my picture she worked very hard. There were many times that I saw Laura doing her best to get fun shots that we would actually want, such as laying on the dance floor in the middle of a circle of guys dancing. The best compliment that I can give Laura is that I made sure that my sister used her as her photographer at her wedding because I wanted her to have the same great experience that we did. Did I mention that the quality of her work is impeccable and very professional -- we constantly get compliments on our wedding photos, despite the fact that I am in them. On another note I have used Laura to take photos of my real estate listings, and they always make the house stand out above other houses because Laura is so precise and truly cares about her work. I highly recommend using Laura the next time you need some pictures taken.
