Just WOW!!

I can't get over how well this speech went over! The staff was over the top responsive and flexible. From laughter to actual tears, everything about my speech was as perfect as the special day itself. Thanks so much!!!

Father of the Bride speech

These guys did a Great job for me ! The best thing was just getting me in the right direction ….. They All had Great response time and friendly service ….. I will recommend to others …… My speech was well received and even got some laughs ha ! Thanks again !

It was last minute, I mean very last minute, and I can not thank you enough enough for my speech! I found this website while I was looking at writing jokes for my MOH speech. I just decided to give it a try and see what the speech would be like and Josh nailed it ! He was very good about getting back to me with any changes. I felt like the speech was funny and honored both the bride and the groom. I got a ton of compliments after the speech! So thank you again!

Just awesome!

Public speaking is not my forte, so when I heard about Laugh Staff I decided to give them a try. They wrote me an awesome best man speech for my friend's wedding -- funny, smart, and meaningful. These guys really took the time to get to know me and crafted a speech that sounded like I had written it myself. Having a prepared speech like that helped me get over my nerves and really deliver during the reception -- the groom was very impressed, and I even got a few comments from bride's family and one of the the bridesmaids (wink!).

These guys are great! I highly recommend them to anyone who is unsure of their own ability to write a great speech.

Great Experience!

Great experience with this service. I was unsure if the material provided would match my speech/the bride and groom but it definitely fit and matched. They edited my speech to sound funny and be heartfelt but also just for general flow and wording. The speech was a huge hit! I would highly recommend this service and would use again myself in the future!

My sister and I hate public speaking, we had no idea what to say when it was time to make our Maid of Honor speeches. Luckily, we found out about Josh and he put together the most hysterical but still sentimental speech for us- everyone loved it- truly saved the day. Highly recommend!

Josh hooked me up with my best man Speech I recently just delivered and nailed on 9/28/18. I had random people coming up to me after the speech saying how great it was. I'm not a great public speaker but knowing I had a solid speech prepared with the help of Josh I wasn't nervous at all. He also gave me tips on how to deliver the speech..he's a pro and sure to get the crowd laughing with your speech

My MOH speech was really important to me because my best friend deserved for the world to know how amazing she is. Josh delivered to me a speech that went over beyond what I expected. He took my basic speech and added sprinkles of humor and tenderness that blew the guests away. And most importantly, brought both laughter and tears to my best friend and her hubby. In addition to adding more to my speech, he also suggested areas to remove where it was confusing and redundant. I appreciated this because I always felt it was all over the place and once I removed the areas he suggested, it was so much easier to follow. I would highly recommend laugh staff and if you get lucky enough to have Josh as your person, rest assure you will be well taken of!

Best Man Speech was perfect! Thanks again Josh! The speech got everyone (especially groom and bride) both laughing and crying. Once everything was submitted took a couple of days for a turn around. You were really able to turn our stories into something fun as well as highlight the qualities I had trouble highlighting before.

Cameron is a hero! He went into lots of detail with me to help get an idea of my voice and what I wanted to say but didn’t know how to articulate. The speech was both hilarious and heart warming and I was told all night long how it was the best speech they had ever heard! (And the brides brother is a tv comedy writer so the pressure was heavy!) the speech was poignant and danced right on the Line yet it was complimentary and made eveyone fee good. It never went too far, but was pushing the envelope. It was worth every penny. Seriously made this experience stress free and just bloody spectacular

Laugh Staff is great!!! I was freaking out about writing my speech 3 days before the wedding when I found out about Laugh Staff. They knew I was in a time crunch, so they had a speech ready for me the next day!!! It went great, and I got compliments all night!! The bride loved it and people are still telling me how good it was!! So worth it!

Josh at Laugh Staff wrote a perfectly funny and heartfelt Best Man speech for me. I got SO many compliments from guests throughout the night. There was also a clever catchphrase Josh wrote about the groom that after my speech has now become a funny new nickname for my best friend :)

I was amazed at how seamless the process was- I paid online for the service, then filled out a questionnaire, and within a few days I had an amazing speech. I emailed him to write a few additional stories and he turned it around for me in 1 day. I'm really impressed that all this was possible without a phone interview.

Totally worth the cost! Highly recommend Laugh Staff!

This service is AWESOME! Exactly what they advertise. Josh was incredibly responsive. He turned around an entire ceremony script in about a day. And it was truly beautiful — not a dry eye in the house! I highly recommend this service.

WORTH EVERY PENNY!!! I was in a crunch on my best man speech. Josh was very responsive, helpful and was a pleasure to work with. Not to mention the speech he provided was original had the crowd rolling with laughter. Will definitely use in the future if needed!!!

Josh got me a speech prepared for my buddy's wedding I was the best man in. He asked me some good questions and we were able to put together a few stories about our friendship in the speech - some very good personal touches. I got a fe good laughs from the audience and it was overall a great success. Will definitely use Josh again.

The speech Jason wrote was great! It was funny and sincere, the crowd loved it. With everything going on, I doubt I would've had time to write my own speech. These guys are awesome! Truly life savers!

I have to say when I found out I had to stand up and speak in front of 250 people most of who I didn't know, I panicked. Then I find out I'm the 5th speech on top of it! All I have to say it THANK GOD I found Laugh staff. I had the whole room laughing !!!!!! Josh my writer/Comedian was so easy to work with. He took all of the information and gave me the best speech. All night and even still today people are commenting on how awesome it was. It was like he had known them as long as I have. I never would have been able to do this by myself. And to be the hit of the night... that was awesome. Even the DJ who's heard a million speeches said later that night that I killed it !!! Thank you Laugh Staff!!! I will definitely use this again!

Josh was phenomenal. I can't tell you the number of people that came up to me after my speech and told me this was by far their best "best man" speech ever. The bride and groom were super happy. I had a week to write a casual speech to be said at the rehearsal dinner about the bride whom I have known my entire life. I had trouble pulling it all together in a short period of time and making it have a fun, light hearted element to it. I worked with Josh to have my thoughts and stories in a way that could be presented easily to the group and he added a relevant element to it that helped make it fun. We talked through it and made a few tweaks and the end result was a fun, genuine, speech for the bride to be. I received great feedback and I was much more confident speaking knowing that I had a little help:)

Our son, John Jr., was the Groom. I asked Josh Womack at Laugh Staff to provide some help with my husband’s Father of the Groom speech and my son Eric’s Best Man toast. My husband John was accustomed to giving speeches and tells a good joke. Eric did not give speeches on a routine basis but has tended bar and scores high on the “how to host an event” scale. It complicated matters that we had blended a family (he had two and I had two), so we needed Josh to tiptoe around former relationships a bit. We raised 4 children who were close in age and conspired well. That gave Josh an extensive catalog of memorable mishaps to incorporate into the speech/toast. The end result was respectful, noteworthy, concise and most importantly, genuine. Unfortunately, Josh wasn’t present to hear the delivery of his handiwork but the pics reveal guests laughing and crying, making it a perfect milestone.
The funny thing about this process is that Josh knows so much about our family history, he could be member. All in all, it was a worthwhile and valuable process. Thanks to Josh and the members of Laugh Staff for the great work!

Laugh staff was worth every penny! I was assigned Josh to write my MOH speech. I am not as close as I once was with the bride but based on my speech you would never know! I didn't give Josh much to work with but he created an amazing speech in under two days! When I read his initial "rough draft" I got teary eyed and laughed out loud. It's was everything I wanted in a speech. I had no edits for him it was perfect! I would highly recommend everyone use this service.

As maid of honor for my best friend's wedding, I was worried about writing a speech that would come together and still have a personal touch to it. But I did not have to worry though, as Josh was awesome and he did exactly that for my speech. It still had that heart felt and person vibe to it, while being really funny.

I used Laugh Staff to help edit a speech/toast that I had written for my son's wedding. While I was satisfied with it, I wanted someone to add some humor and, most importantly, edit it as I have never done this before. I was assigned to Josh Womack. It would be difficult to overemphasize the help he provided me. His additions and editing made it complete and beautiful; it grew from something adequate but awkward into a speech that moved many to tears. Countless guests approached me to tell me how much they loved it. Even the jaded photographer told me it was one of the top five speeches he ever heard; surprising to me, but I guess the audience of 200+ folks was pretty receptive. The bride and groom later asked the bride maids and grooms their favorite parts of the day and apparently several cited my toast. Some even came up and said I should run for president. Ah, the young. :) While I wasn't necessarily looking for a hilarious speech (though I got several fulsome laughs), I was thankful to see in his bio that he had in the past worked as a minister. Not that I was looking for a religious aspect (my speech was more from the humanist tradition) but that there would be someone who could bring thoughtfulness and intelligence. And that I got in spades. He insured the beginning and the final toast were crafted appropriately.

The value I got was multiple the cost.

As a preface, this isn't a review/service for brides and grooms, themselves, so much as it is for bridal parties. Laugh Staff is a service for those in need of help writing a groomsman/bridesmaid speech from scratch or punching up an existing draft.

The first time that I used Laugh Staff, I logged onto their website, read through some of their comedian's bios (all of Laugh Staff's ghostwriters are comedians and/or comedy writers), signed up for the service, and was sent a questionnaire about myself, the groom, my relationship with the couple, anecdotes I felt belonged in the speech, etc. My ghostwriter promptly scheduled a quick call with me to elaborate on & clarify a few items from the questionnaire. I received a first draft a day or two later, which was remarkably good. I genuinely tried to read it as critically as possible to identify anything that might give away the fact that someone else had written the speech for me. I also wanted to ensure that it was personal enough and that it really captured my voice. Despite my best efforts to nitpick, I was blown away! It checked all the boxes for me: it was funny, sentimental, embodied my relationships with the bride and groom, and was just the "right" length. Honestly, I don't really understand how Laugh Staff accomplishes such a monumental task in such a short time-frame. At the wedding, the speech absolutely killed! In addition to saving me time and ending up with an amazing speech, knowing that a "ringer" had helped me with my speech enabled me to deliver the speech much more confidently than I ordinarily would have under the circumstances.

In short, Laugh Staff is a really great service for anyone that's short on time, struggles with speech-writing, and/or dreads the idea of public speaking! I will definitely be using Laugh Staff again in the future.

I had the memories but needed help getting my Maid of Honor speech started. The speech I received was an excellent start, and after I tweaked it to make it "sound" more like my own voice, it was PERFECT!

Cameron was very helpful in developing my best man speech. He's clearly passionate about the company and the service provided reflected it. As professional comedians, Cameron and the rest of the crew at LaughStaff know what crowds respond to and what they don't so each conversation was efficient and extremely helpful. Small details go a long way and Cameron quickly assisted rounding those out, making my speech very memorable. I received a number of compliments from folks at the wedding that I wasn't acquainted with (which in my opinion is a better high level indication that it went well vs compliments only from friends) and the groom pulled me aside the next day and told me how much he appreciated it. I was hesitant to get assistance at first for ego reasons but am very pleased with the result and would highly recommend the service to others!

My awesome MoH speech would not have been so awesome if it weren't for Josh. I needed to pull together the best (and wedding-appropriate) themes/stories from many years of friendship, and he did exactly that. I rewrote/tightened it up to make it more "me" but couldn't have done it so quickly without his help. He provided the structure, themes, and of course jokes. Very pleased with his responsiveness and quick turnaround in response to my comments. The speech was well received by wedding attendees (laughs/applause during the toast and a lot of people came up to me afterwards) and more importantly, the bride loved it. I hope to never be a MoH again, but will definitely use Josh/Laugh Staff again if I am!

Wow this is an amazing service if you have an emergency and you want your speech to be written by someone else. I only gave them less than 3 days notice due to medical emergency and the speech that Josh wrote for me was absolutely perfect. My sister loved it! I highly recommend their service!

Short answer: well worth the money
Long answer: I wrote my best man speech and had them review it. They rewrote a couple stories that were too long and hard to follow, gave me a couple one liners that were amazing, took out a story that would have made some people uncomfortable. The end result was a well put together speech that flowed better, was easier to follow, made people laugh more and was still a little edgy. Keep in mind it took a couple revisions based on my own feedback which they were happy to do. There was only one line that I thought they could have done better with. I ended up taking it out becuase even though I liked the line, it just didn't fit. Again well worth the money.

Josh helped me prepare my speech and he did a great job. Took a quick survey online and provided some material for him to work with. The crowd loved it - some people laughed, some cried, but everybody said what a wonderful speech it was.

Cringey, boring speech

The speech that they made contained virtually no humor and most of it would have made me cringe to even consider saying. Worth maybe $5, nothing near what they charge

I hired Laugh Staff to write a MOH speech in a 3 week window. If you're in a bind, this is a good service, but don't expect an amazing speech. The speech I received had some really good jokes and structure, but I had to edit it down a lot to make it less corny and sound more like me. I guess that's not such a bad thing. I had hoped for $150 I would get something with a little more substance, but overall I took the jokes and made it work. My speech turned out great and the crowd loved it.
