    Tolkien inspired wedding

    My husband and I were married in June 2018. LI Rentals were so kind on my visit to pick out linens and chairs. They worked with us on last minute booking dates for set up and tear down. We had some venue hiccups, but they handled everything seamlessly. Everything looked amazing day of! Thank you for everything!

    We used Lasting Impressions for our chair rentals. The chairs were pricing competitively and looked great! We had absolutely no issues with the vendor, and we would recommend to friends.

    The prices were awesome and I was able to pick up and have someone else drop off after the wedding. It was great! The color selection was fabulous! I will use them again for another event I have in 2014.

    We rented 2 outside tables for a terrace at our reception. They were perfect. We also rented the table stanchions for the table numbers. I was referred to this place from my aunts friends and will definitely recommend it to other people. The process was very easy and they allowed us to drop everything off the Monday after the wedding. Very affordable too!

    The salespeople were very helpful, the value was great for the price, and they delivered to us quickly! Our linens, tables, and chairs looked absolutely amazing!

    We also used them to rent tables, chairs, and linens for my shower. Pricing and selection are great. Andrea was great to work with for the wedding, she even talked me out of a few things I wanted, that really did not need at our venue.

    Lasting Impressions was the rental company recommended to us by our caterer, and because our wedding was kosher, we wanted to make it as easy on our caterer as possible, so we looked nowhere else, so I don't know if the prices were reasonable or not. We rented glass dishes, flatware, glassware (including wine & water glasses and bar glasses). We were satisfied with the quality of the rental products and how well they worked with our caterer. We had an ice cream sundae bar for dessert, and our main color of the wedding was purple, and they had these perfect little purple stemless martini glasses, they were so cute and fit so well with our wedding (they weren't cheap though!). They also had good recommendations for how much glassware to rent for our bar.

    Lasting Impressions is a great rental service for a beautiful wedding reception! The table overlays we selected made our reception look incredibly elegant and beautiful. We received so many compliments! They were great to work with. Be sure to visit their showroom to play with different styles and find the perfect look for your wedding or event. I would definitely use their service again and would recommend them to anyone!

    I worked with Andrea who made the process smooth and easy. She helped me select the perfect linens for my wedding. She never tried to upsell me in an obnoxious way and always offered wanted options. The delivery and set up was smooth as well as the pick up. Great to work with

    Excellent, personal service and a great help. due to cost I had to cut alot of things i wanted and find other ways but the products and service I got was great!

    Lasting Impressions had all the rentals that I needed including the corinthian columns. I was late in paying the deposit down on my rental. In fact I was only able to put a deposit down on the four columns that I wanted and had to wait to add the candleabra's and urns. I actually was able to add them on the day before the wedding. They have a good size inventory and the items I wanted were available to me at the last minute. The only thing I didn't agree with is their very expensive delivery fee. This could have been because I live in Delaware and they are located in Columbus. None the less we decided to pick up the items and save the $119 delivery charge as well as the $119 charge for them to pick them up

    Lasting Impressions staff is extremely helpful. Their showroom is gorgeous.

    Their website, lists the items they have for rent and almost all items have a picture that you can access by clicking on the name of the item.
    This makes shopping from home really nice and eliminates alot of questions.

    We rented a 30X60 frame tent, tables, chairs, linens, and bar equipment.

    The guys that came to set up the tent were really wonderful and hard working.
    The linens were pressed and wonderfully stored in dry cleaning bags, the tables were in good shape but about 2 chairs were found to be broke when they arrived and I had 2 guests
    fall to the ground in 2 more chairs. So, check your chairs and major hinges carefully. June is a busy time for equipment rental. So,I can understand how this could happen.

    The second thing that I did not enjoy from my experience from Lasting Impressions was that I had asked to set up an appointment and talk to the
    "Site Inspector" personally. They did not satisfy this request. So, 2 days before our wedding, when they showed up to erect the tent, The tent ended up in a location of our yard that I didn't want it in. This forced me to "RE-Communicate" information to about 10 people, whom walked down the aisle before me. I had to reconfigure parking for our wedding guests. And WORST OF ALL, I had to have DANGEROUSLY UNSAFE HOLES filled in the ground in the tent. Of course the holes were in the major traffic areas AND where our grandmothers were going to be sitting. I also had to go and re-spray the ground for bugs, in the new location. ALL of this, could of been avoided if they would of satisfied my request to see the "Site Inspector" personally.
    Whoever you are, You made life A WHOLE LOT HARDER 2 days before our wedding. As if I didn't have enough to do already.

    They had a great selection in their showroom, we were able to get the decorations to fit exactly what we wanted our wedding to look like. The price was what we expected, no more, no less, nothing sensational. We had no problems with them, everything was delivered the way it was supposed to, and everything looked great.

    We needed to rent chairs for our ceremony outdoors at the Shelterhouse at Goodale Park. I found 3 different chair rental companies and one wouldn’t come to parks and the second one was more expensive. So I went with Lasting Impressions. Overall my experience with them wasn’t what I had hoped for. When I called to place my order for the chairs they sent me my contract and charged me for my deposit. I sent them back the signed contract and didn’t receive a confirmation from them until I asked them if they had received it a week later. About two weeks before our wedding I confirmed the number of chairs needed- it was less than the original amount and they credited me the difference. There wasn’t clear communication when the final deposit was needed- it wasn’t in the contract but I was able to take care of that before our wedding. We had our reservation at the park from 9:30 - 11:30 am and our ceremony was at 10:30 am. I told them the chairs had to be set up in time for our ceremony. At 9:45 am my friends who I asked to supervise the chair set up called Lasting Impressions to see if they were on their way. They called the emergency line on the contract and no one answered, luckily someone picked up on the main line. They arrived with the chairs about a half hour later and we had guests waiting to sit down. Our ceremony went fine and we had enough chairs but I was disappointed to hear about this after our wedding. After returning from our honeymoon I called and asked to speak to a manager and explained my experience. She called the delivery manager and couldn’t confirm any details of that day and gave us a credit for the trouble we experienced. I was happy to have received a credit because the rental wasn’t cheap and I would recommend giving them a definitive time for when you need your rentals set up.

    This review is accurate regarding our late delivery. There is no excuse for it. We credited the customer and apologized. We make thousands of deliveries each year and perform almost all in the timely fashion that is expected. I am unsure about our flexibility as we agreed to deliver at the exact time the equipment was required. That seems pretty flexible to me.

    Unfortunately, Lasting Impressions caused lots of grief on our wedding day. Lasting Impressions were to provide table clothes, napkins, head table settings and other small items on our wedding day but lots of things went awry. The company didn't fill the final order but instead filled the initial booking order. This meant that the silverware for the head table, round table clothes and details were missing on the day of the wedding. Even the napkins they brought were the wrong color. What really was unfortunate was that the company is closed on Saturday's and we couldn't reach them!

    I did confirm the order with the company 2 days before the wedding, but still we had guests having to bring their own silverware, square table clothes trying to fit round tables and a wedding planners and bride scrambling to fix problems before the wedding. It's important to note that they refunded the money for the missing items. The staff was friendly and apologetic. However, its hard to refund the moments of anxiety before your wedding day :(

    Take your business elsewhere!! We rented 35 long, polyester tablecloths to fit standard six foot banquet tables for my daughter's recent wedding. We paid to have the tablecloths delivered to the wedding venue. The tablecloths that were delivered were a mismatched mess! Some of them had rounded corners, some had squared corners, some had seams running horizontally along the tablecloth edge and some were way too large for a six foot banquet table. We had friends and family setting up for the wedding and it caused them much stress and additional time trying to find a way to make the mismatched tablecloths look in any way uniform. We called the day of the event to ask Lasting Impressions to remedy the problem. They offered no assistance. I have called them no less than 3 times since and they claim that I need to speak with "Melissa" and promise to have her call me which she never does. We paid nearly $700.00 for this "service" and I am shocked at the lack of professionalism and responsiveness.

    This wedding was a do it yourself customer. We attempted to assist them with their setup many times. They were not putting the tablecloths on correctly. We will rent this type of tablecloth over 5000 times in white alone this year without complaint. I personally tried to assist this person who wanted 100% off. Because we had done nothing wrong in my opinion, I told her that I could not do that. This was the response.

    Avoid Lasting Impressions!!!

    This is a long review but we encourage you to read it.

    Overall, our “Lasting Impression” is that the company was unprofessional and did not deliver what we paid for. JP, the President, was incredibly rude and awful to work with.

    We rented a large tent (40’x120’), dance floor, chairs, tables, glassware, etc for our 200 person backyard wedding. They created a digital layout for us, showing exactly where the tent poles would land and where our dance floor and tables would be. They also visited the event site twice to make sure the tent would fit there. JP visited the site himself and told us it would work.

    
A crew delivered and set up the tent. They left large holes in the yard which we had to repair to avoid injury to our guests. They also mistakenly put an extra anchor in the yard which we had to ask them to remove. Many of the poles were crooked and the tent had visible stains.

    When the crew came to install the dance floor, we were told they couldn’t install it as previously diagrammed by Lasting Impressions and as agreed to/contracted/and paid for by us. The floor installer commented on how crooked the tent installation was and couldn't seem to figure out how to install the dance floor with the tent poles in place.

    My father had to spend several hours working with the floor installer, loaned him a tape measure (since he barely had any tools) and helped him figure out how to get most of the flooring installed. In the diagram, the tent poles were shown to go on top of the dance floor. However, when they showed up to install it, they told us that the pole would have to go on grass instead. So, we had a dance floor with a hole in the center, another trip hazard for our guests and not what we had agreed to or wanted. In addition, due to the pole placement, we had to forgo an entire row of our dance floor, which we had already paid for.

    As for pick up after the wedding, there was no communication. We were originally told Monday or Tuesday, and that they would follow up with an exact time. We emailed and called JP to see when everything was going to be picked up, but never got a response. Instead the truck showed up in our driveway in the afternoon. Thankfully we were home to receive them.

    
Afterwards, we reached out to JP to ask for a refund for the dance floor that his team did not put down for us. Not only did he refuse to refund us, he accused us of making his team wait for us to remove lighting from the tent (they were not delayed) and he didn’t even apologize for their error. After a mistake that big, that’s the very least he could do.

    Additionally, when trying to rent everything for the wedding, JP would send us quotes with items missing and inconsistent prices. In the few weeks leading up, we had to follow up with him several times to make sure that we did, in fact, have everything reserved. We had never received a final agreement or notice for final payment so we reached out to them. JP blamed us, claiming he had asked us for the signed estimate many times but never received it. We forwarded him the email where we had sent the signed estimate several weeks earlier, but he never acknowledged it.

    When JP eventually sent the final agreement, the prices had been raised from the original quote. We asked about it and were told that we were supposed to be charged for an extra delivery charge, so really we were still saving money. 

    The final agreement was also missing several items from the original quote, including the propane oven that was going to be used to cook our guests' food. If we had not double and triple checked everything, it could have been a disaster.

    Lasting Impressions was disorganized, hostile, and made promises they couldn't keep. They put their customers in an impossible position because it’s too late to make changes or hire anyone else.

    The bottom line is - don’t trust Lasting Impressions with your event, especially something as important as a wedding.
