Great Experience with Debbie
Debbie with Lasting Florals was absolutely wonderful. What set her apart when picking a florist was that she showed me examples of her work and even specific flowers she would work with, then gave her suggestions based on my inspiration pictures. Many other florists frustrated me because they expected me to tell them everything and wouldn’t help me create the vision, even though they are the professionals who do this for a living.
Debbie gave us very competitive pricing and was communicative throughout. Her finished products were exactly what I asked for and she did a perfect job on the day itself. I wasn’t able to double-check things before the ceremony started (which made me anxious), but it was unnecessary as they were done just right. There was a scare about two hours before the ceremony when the arbor that I provided broke (not her fault at all), but Debbie improvised and created a beautiful ceremony site that looked like it had been planned like that all along.
I am grateful that I went with Debbie and Lasting Florals because my wedding florals were beautiful and as stress-free as possible for me.

I cannot say enough about Debbie, her creativity, and her friendliness! She played a big part in helping to make our wedding day PERFECT! Her florals were more beautiful than I could've anticipated. I don't have the photos back from the photographer yet, but I will share once I do! I also asked her, last minute, to make me a floral crown because I could not find one online that I liked, and she created EXACTLY what I wanted after I provided just a little detail. She also provided lovely floral decor for our very simple wedding cake. She was communicative and kind during the entire process, and she delivered everything to our wedding venue and set it all up. Debbie really knows her stuff and was helpful in pointing out in-season florals that would transform my spring wedding colors into a fall wedding since we had to reschedule due to covid, as well as suggesting similar florals to help us stay within budget. She was gracious and understanding when we had to move our May20 wedding to May21, then again to Nov21 when covid restrictions didn't let up. Debbie's setup team worked extra hard to secure our wedding arch on a windy day, and made sure my cake vendor had the right florals. I loved the adorable boutineers for my groomsmen, and the explosive arch display. She brought our bouquet visions to life, and made aisle markers that I could double as table decor after the ceremony.

Debbie made all of our florals look amazing and beautiful....beyond expectation. When we contacted her, she immediately responded, and set up a time to meet. We showed her the flowers that we wanted to be the highlighted flower, and she made arrangements and centerpieces around that flower. She checked in periodically to make sure that everything still looked good, and we didn't want to make changes. I worked night shift, and she was very understanding and did her best to contact me at a reasonable time for my schedule. Debbie is amazing to work with, and I highly reccomend using her for any of your floral needs.

My daughter recently celebrated her Sweet 16 at the Magnolia Green Golf Club. Debbie came highly recommended to us by way of Alissa Tarr, the Club’s Director, who also spearheaded planning for the event. 2018 October Wedding
Finding a florist was the most difficult part of our wedding. Everyone I reached out to had a minimum of almost triple our budget for flowers. I'd almost given up on what I wanted for our wedding day but decided to reach out to our venue who recommended Debbie with lasting Florals. First meeting Debbie, I knew I'd lucked up. She immediately let me know there are no minimums and maximums when it comes to your wedding day. She really just wants to make your vision come to life. And man did she! Debbie is the most amazing florist on the planet! When we needed her she was there! We were dropped by our venue 3 weeks before our wedding and had to find a new one. When we did Debbie made the adjustments and our flowers at our site looked beyond amazing. Words can not justify how beautiful everything was. When we first met with Deborah we had no idea what we were looking for as far as flowers. She patiently showed us different pictures until we narrowed down what we liked. As we got closer to the wedding, we made several changes and she was very flexible. The flowers exceeded our expectations. We let our guests take the center piece arrangements after the reception and they were snatched up quickly.
They were gorgeous! The bouquet and boutonnière were also perfect. I would highly recommend this company.

Deborah did an excellent job! We had a very small, simple but elegant wedding. We had a total of 27 guests attend and didn't have a wedding party. We ended up getting a bride's bouquet, five sets of flowers for table decorations, a few pocket squares, a boutonniere, few wrist corsages, and a bride's bouquet. A lot of flourists didn't want to work with such a small wedding but Deborah treated us wonderfully. She was very responsive, excellent in her suggestions, and her final products were absolutely wonderful. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. Everybody loved the flowers and my bouquet was absolutely stunning.

My wedding flowers were beyond amazing. For my Scottish themed wedding, Debbie was able to get me thistles and lavender for my bouquet and husband's boutonniere. They were fresh, fragrant and beautiful. My bouquet was so full, it was heavy so I know I got my money's worth. Our first consultation was awesome. I told Debbie what the theme was and she knew exactly what to suggest. Every bouquet, boutonniere, and table dressing was fantastic.

Debbie created beautiful silk flowers for my destination wedding. I was not blessed with a creative Gene, gave her my colors and said go with it. They are the most beautiful, realistic silk flowers I have ever seen. They made all of the picture pop. Beyond my expectations in every way!!!!

When Debbie sent me a picture of my flowers, I sat there with my mouth hanging open & speechless. They were absolutely gorgeous!!! Even though we were having a very small wedding, I wanted to have beautiful flowers. Debbie listened to what I wanted and was enthusiastic about making my day special - and boy did she hit it out of the park!!! They were more stunning in person and more beautiful than I ever dreamed they could be. All the flowers lasted a week - I even hung one of the arrangements on our front door. Debbie is truly gifted at what she does and I would recommend her to EVERYONE!!! I am so happy I found you Debbie! THANK YOU!!!!!!

I always knew flowers were a very important part of any wedding celebration, but when my mother and I saw the finished product on my wedding day, we were filled with the happiest of emotions. The bouquets, arbor, centerpieces, and boutineers were made with an immense amount of talent and love (and with quite a large bridal party). I can truly say that I have never seen flowers so beautiful. It was a moment that I couldn't even truly describe in words, and one that I will remember forever. Lasting Florals exceeded everything I could have ever imagined. Debbie was extremely organized and accommodating from the beginning stages and continued to exceed all expectations up to the final moments before I walked down the aisle. I began our meeting by saying that flowers were not super high on the list for importance, but they truly made our wedding so much more beautiful! From the bouquets that included small but important detail such as my mothers veil to the intricate pieces on our wedding pergola, Debbie's attention to detail was amazing. Debbie designed and created the most amazing cascading bouquet, boutonniere, and center pieces for our wedding. She was a dream to work with. Communication was a big deal for me as I'm an out of state bride, and working with her was just natural. She communicated everything effectively via email and a few phone calls. She made sure to go over every detail even emailing me pictures of the flowers she'd chosen to make my vision a reality. Like many other brides, I took to reviews to help guide my decision. I couldn't imagine working with a better florist! She was truly a dream to work with. She was able to take my vision and create a work of art. We literally displayed my bouquet at our reception. And let's not forget the centerpiece! They too were complimented many times throughout the night. If you are looking for something spectacular on your special day please look no further because it doesn't get any better than this.

We loved working with Debbie. She listened to what we wanted, shared photos and showed samples to make it just what we wanted. She gave us advice and we ended up with simply elegant flowers. From the boutonnières, the corsages, the flower girls headpieces, rose petals for their baskets, the bridesmaids bouquets to my beautiful bouquet and the flowers for my centerpieces everything was perfect. I came in with some ideas and a price point in mind, and we were able to come up with the perfect combination of flowers and accents to really bring everything together. My bridesmaids couldn't wait to take their bouquets home and dry them, they were that beautiful! I even had a few super last minute changes, as in two days before the wedding, and Debbie got it done without hesitation. Our bouquets were exactly as we had imagined and described!! The centerpieces for the wedding were not only gorgeous and just what we wanted but continued to look great throughout the following day outdoors for our post-wedding brunch!! The centerpieces created for the rehearsal dinner were used as extra decorations the following night at the wedding and looked just as wonderful which was an unexpected bonus!!
The flowers were fresh, arrangements on point and everything made our wedding just as perfect as it could have been!!

I had such an eclectic and backwards theme to my wedding, allowing my vendors so much freedom for creative expression, that I was either going to make the best or the worst bride to work with. I wasn't picky, I didn't have everything (or anything really) planned out, I was just going with the flow and building with each vendor appointment I had. Of all of my vendors, Debbie was the most excited to begin working on my wedding. I wanted big, I wanted flowing, I wanted input, I wanted bright and (later we found out) I was getting married on the hottest day of the year! My center pieces were heavily floral, my alter decorations were heavily floral -- and Debbie, in full swing, was out many hours before my ceremony start putting everything together, shifting placement of this detail or that detail until it was in it's perfect spot. Before my groom & guests began to arrive, I took a walk through around my venue and was in complete awe. She is seriously the DREAM vendor you could ever imagine working with you on your wedding day!!

Not only is she extremely personable, down to earth, FUN and friendly - but she has amazing attention-to-detail, her paperwork is professional and easy to follow, she LISTENS thoroughly to what you're looking for, uses visuals to communicate whenever possible, and is extremely reliable and responsive. I knew right away when I met her that I'd love working with her and within minutes I felt like I was brainstorming my wedding day vision with a friend. She helped me to improvise on a few details when they wouldn't work properly at our venue, and turned the idea into something even more awesome. She customized everything to match our colors perfectly. She placed live flowers on our wedding cake that looked SO pretty. Our bouquets and bouts were beautiful - seriously beautiful. And the centerpiece and ceremony arrangements were stunning. We got SO MANY compliments from our wedding guests and the room looked just like my vision/inspiration photos - but with it's own unique twist and personality. Debbie's prices were also extremely reasonable especially considering the level of fantastic service and dedication that she gives her clients. Debbie (Lasting Florals) is absolutely the best! She is very detailed orientated and very thorough! She is highly skilled in her profession! I had hired a florist prior to meeting Debbie, and after meeting w her, I hired her and let go of the other florist. Her work is top notch and her prices are not bad at all! She is one of the nicest vendors I hired for my wedding. She definitely cares about her work! I would highly recommend Lasting Florals to anyone! You will not be disappointed at all. :)

We could not have been happier with our experience with Lasting Florals. Debbie did a fantastic job in every respect creating a beautiful floral display on the mantle and tables at the Boathouse. I also had the pleasure of seeing her work at a friend's wedding
several weeks prior to my daughter's. Both were gorgeous!. I give Lasting Florals my highest recommendation.

Debbie is very attentive and a great listener. She took down a lot of notes while I spoke about my vision. Then when she emailed me pictures of ideas to resemble my bouquet, I was blown away. She knew exactly what I wanted! She is very down to earth and great to do business with. I could tell immediately that she truly wanted what was best for me and the wedding. When she delivered my bouquet, bridesmaid bouquets, and boutonnières, I cried! She greeted me with a hug and I genuinely felt she was so happy to be a part of making our day special. I highly recommend using her services!! My bouquet was of beautiful quality and not too expensive. Guests were even commenting about the boutonnières because they were sprigs of lavender and sage tied together with burlap- it was very very cute!

Debbie did an absolutely amazing job as our florist. We were so happy with everything. Her pieces were just stunning- from the bouquet, to the centerpieces, to the garlands on our head family table and fireplace. PERFECT! We would very highly recommend her!

Deborah at Lasting Florals was fantastic! She was so easy to work with and very responsive. Her flowers were the most beautiful I have ever seen. She really has a gift. She designed our Chuppah out of Birch tree branches and free flowing flowers and people were talking about it for days. I highly recommend her!

I loved working with Debbie. She was very responsive and reasonably priced for what I was requesting. She showed up on time to the venue to pin the groom and groomsmen. She was very accommodating as my first bridal shoot was canceled due to rain and gave me a discount on the next bouquet. Everything was perfect. Thanks again for everything you did.

AMAZING!!! My flowers were absolutely perfect! I cannot say enough about how happy I was the day of my wedding. Debbie even took the time to call me on Wednesday before my wedding to have me come and check out the one color rose I used to make sure that I was ok with the shade and it was PERFECT! I never had any doubt that Lasting Florals would do an unbelievable job!

This was our second wedding using Deborah as our florist. We were extremely pleased with her 2 years ago when our middle daughter got married, so when our youngest got engaged, we knew we wanted Lasting Florals to do her flowers. As expected, Deborah was wonderful! She was so easy to work with and knew exactly what my daughter wanted. When some flowers came in, Deborah even called my daughter to go by her shop just to make sure they were the right color. When my daughter saw her flowers on her wedding day, she couldn't have been happier! They were everything she wanted and more!! I would highly recommend Deborah and Lasting Florals to anyone who needs a florist for any occasion. They are the BEST!!

What a true joy it was to work with Debbie. She was so easy to talk to. With little direction or ideas of what my vision was for the flowers at my wedding, she was able to create such beautiful masterpieces. She provided fabulous feedback and examples to help me envision what she was thinking. She was also very flexible with any changes that needed to be done throughout the whole process. Deborah Mooney with Lasting Florals was top notch. I highly recommend using Lasting Florals Florist for any event! Debbie was very easy to work with. She was friendly, organized, and helped to make this part of my wedding a success. The quality of flowers were amazing and the price was affordable. Debbie went above and beyond what I expected. She added additional touches to things that I didn't expect from extra flowers on tables to more flowers at the ceremony site. I will definitely recommend this florist to anyone and will use again!

If you want someone who is experienced, flexible, honest, and willing to go above and beyond you want Lasting Florals and Debbie. I haven't got the faintest clue about flowers, and Debbie really cared and spent the time and energy to produce what I imagined. It was a hot and humid week in September and our wedding day was no different. She waited to set up the flowers till the last moment so that they wouldn't wilt in the heat--she didn't have to do that, but she did anyway because it was important to her and me. She did the groomsmen boutonnieres, bridal bouquets, ceremony arch, flower girl baskets, and ring bearer nest. I knew I was in good hands and because I had no experience, fully entrusted her design instinct. I am so glad I did because she took my inspirations to another level. I am forever grateful that she was part of my wedding team. She was a major reason why I didn't worry a bit during our wedding. Thank you, Debbie!

Should have reviewed months ago. I am not a flower person-- I don't care for roses, daises, peonies, etc. When I told Debbie this, I was expecting to still be pushed in that direction because, you know, wedding. To my delight, she started showing us pictures of plants and flowers I'd never seen before and never thought could be used in a wedding/reception (don't worry, she still does the traditional stuff too). We clicked and she was absolutely a joy to work with. The day of, Debbie was was calm, cool and collected (it was raining...for an outdoor wedding) which was a blessing as everyone else was...not. I probably gave her leeway than most brides with the centerpieces, but after several conversations I trusted her to handle almost anything. The most compliments we received after the wedding were on the flowers and the centerpieces that Debbie did-- not the music, food, dress, alcohol, games... everyone was raving about the centerpieces and flowers.
Ladies, if you're getting hitched in RVA there is no one that is better.
She is also super nice, easy to get along with, and at times pretty hilarious.

Deborah with Lasting Florals was able to bring to life the rustic country chic ceremony we envisioned. With such gorgeous arrangements (people are still talking about them) and with the bouquets in mason jars that lined the aisle, making a beautiful sight for my walk down. She certainly delivered exactly what we had discussed. Every bride should feel like I did when I held my bouquet, I feel it was the prettiest one i've ever seen. Deborah used her creative expertise to take our ideas steps further to create our arrangements that were truly spectacular. I was overwhelmed with great joy when I saw how she decorated the gazebo with flowers. It was a pleasure working with Deborah and her wonderful ideas, the flowers are what truley what complimented the venue.
If you are planning an event, and want it to be everything you vision Lasting Florals is your pick!

Debbie Mooney and I worked to create a collection of floral arraignments for my wedding. During this process Debbie was friendly, enthusiastic, and knowledgable. She was able to listen to my ideas for my centerpieces, alter pieces, table settings, and wedding bouquets then create a spectacular collection of pieces that transformed our reception site into a romantic wonderland. Everyone from the guests to the wedding party to the bride and groom were impressed! I would recommend Lasting Florals to anyone who is looking for an efficient, enthusiastic florist! : D

Communication was a big deal for me as I'm an out of state bride, and working with her was just natural. She communicated everything effectively via email and a few phone calls. She made sure to go over every detail even emailing me pictures of the flowers she'd chosen to make my vision a reality. Like many other brides, I took to reviews to help guide my decision. I couldn't imagine working with a better florist! She was truly a dream to work with. She was able to take my vision and create a work of art. We literally displayed my bouquet at our reception. And let's not forget the centerpiece! They too were complimented many times throughout the night. If you are looking for something spectacular on your special day please look no further because it doesn't get any better than this.
