We had Jeremy and Melissa McGuigan from Last Resort DJ at our wedding, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From start to finish, they were everything you hope for in a wedding DJ team—professional, prepared, and truly invested in making our day unforgettable.
They were right on time and came completely prepared. Before the wedding, Jeremy and Melissa took the time to go over every detail with us, making sure the timeline, announcements, and music selections were exactly what we wanted. Their attention to detail was impressive and made the planning process smooth and stress-free.
During the reception, they were incredibly attentive. The music was absolutely amazing and kept the dance floor full all night long. Our guests had an incredible time, and many told us afterward how fantastic the DJ team was.

Jeremy and Melissa did an amazing job at the wedding! Everyone could hear us perfectly on the mikes during the Ceremony and al the timing was fantastic! They had the party playlist ready to go and the dance floor was packed all night with line dances and modern hits. They were able to fulfill all my racquets which included redownloading songs, cutting some songs length ahead of time, and set up and take down went perfect. The mike also broke before speeches and they had a back up ready to go, none of the guests had any idea. If you are looking for a DJ for a special event or Wedding, please consider Jeremy and Melissa. -

Leading up to our wedding, they always kept a clear line of communication and was organized. The day of the wedding they were perfect with the music and kept us on track on our time line. They are so flexible when there were last minute changes. GREAT energy throughout the entire night! Highly, highly recommend them for any occasion! Jeremy and Melissa are absolutely top tier and could not recommend more to anyone in search of a DJ and MC for their event! We had Jeremy and Melissa for our wedding back in May 2025, and they DELIVERED! Between having surprises added in for them to play, a party to maintain with 200 guests, and our full day of events; everything was perfect from start to finish! They are amazing with communication, great pricing, and offer a few extras, like a photo booth and projector! Thank you Jeremy and Melissa; and we love you guys! ❤️ -

Melissa was amazing! She was very responsive and accommodating to all our needs. Our day ran so smoothly and the dance floor was a hit all night! She even came out and showed us a few line dances. The next day she sent me some pictures that she had taken which was a sweet touch. We are so grateful for her. Thank you Melissa for being part of such a special time in our lives.

Highly recommend this husband and wife duo. Extremely responsive. Very flexible and go with the flow (I made a few on the fly changes during the reception). Extremely nice people. Played guest requests because I definitely wanted that. They really cater to what YOU want. Just as in a relationship , communicating is key. If you tell them what you are looking for

We were supposed to have our wedding at our private property in Plumas county, and 4 days before our reception we had to be evacuated due to the Dixie Fire. Jermey was super flexible amd accommodating and drove all the way to BLM land in Yerington to DJ our reception. He was amazing, he brought life to our reception and brought everyone together for an evening we will never forget! After the evening I had many friends and family members comment about how great the DJ was. Highly recommend! -

Last resort DJ went above and beyond for our wedding! They were perfect in getting the mood just right for whatever the situation, they brought laughter and love to our special day and really made the night! Our wedding wouldn’t have been the same without them. Jeremy is fantastic, his wife is helpful sweet and together they make the perfect team for anyone’s special day. We went to a friends wedding later on in the year and they even remembered our 1st dance song to play for a slow dance tune for the night. Whatever kind of music you like they have the perfect mix of upbeat music, down home country music, 2 step, boom boom dancing songs, family fun tunes, classics or sweet slow dancing jams and there photo booth gives you some photo memories everyone can enjoy. If you want your wedding to be great then go with last resort DJ. -

Their response was immediate, professional and caring. They understood everything I was going through. Jeremy made everything easy and comfortable for moving forward. Their website is amazing and covered things I hadn't even thought of with my prior choice. In the end YOU Last Resort DJ covered absolutely everything from the music to announcing each event....I AM STILL IN AWE...IF YOU DONT CHOOSE THEM FOR YOUR NEXT EVENT......YOU WILL BE MAKING A MISTAKE. Thank you for making my daughters wedding all that it should have been. You are my heroes....thank you Melissa for being with us til the end..

We had changed our wedding music like 4 times throught the planning process. And his system for how to submit new music was really helpful. As he reviewed our last iterations of what music should be played before the wedding. At our reception, he went above and beyond. He set up lights, played all the greatest songs, and everyone wanted to get down on the dance floor. He even lead a little lesson for electric slide for everyone! I didn't even ask him to do that. I would highly recommend his service to everyone wanting to throw a rad party. -

After 18 years together b4 marrying and 2 kids who love to dance to pop- my man and I didn't want your typical wedding dance playlist. Jeremy played nearly all the 2012+ requests we made for dinner and dance and was awesome!!! We still had "Sweet Caroline" in honor of my Grandma who died a couple of years before and that brought the house down. Midway through the dancing my brother approached me with, "You've apparently got the DJ on lockdown and dad won't dance unless it's Sinatra!" Jeremy's gaze followed my brother to me and as I gave him the thumbs up his "New York, New York" was the talk of the next day. We really appreciated that he honored our wishes and left the crowd wanting more. He also helped a best friend sing our 1st dance song, "Here's to Us." Thanks, Jeremy...
