Amazing Experience

My entire experience with Lashes & Lace Bridal Beauty was absolutely amazing from start to finish. It all started with a phone call, where I was able to express my vision for my bridal look. Sarah kept in touch with me throughout, and made sure to tailor the services to my exact needs. I got the opportunity to do a makeup preview before the wedding, and the final look on the wedding day was perfect. My favorite part of the process was the ability to customize my experience, including sharing pictures of my veil, providing specific details about the wedding, and a number of other items that made the whole experience feel very special. Most importantly, the pricing was incredible, especially for the high quality of service you will receive. Thank you so much for making my wedding day special :)

Best Vendor Team Ever!

Lashes & Lace came to me as a referral from a friend. They were hands down the best vendor I hired for my wedding day! The communication with Sarah from the start was amazing. I felt like I was talking to a friend from the moment she reached out. She is so kind, caring, and compassionate, and you really and truly feel as though she wants nothing but for you to be the best version of yourself from start to finish. She is thorough and detailed and takes the time to understand what your vision is, and does everything to bring it to life.

The artists on this team are some of the best in DFW (literally, that's not just me saying that!) I had the pleasure of working with LaDonna for my Bridal portraits and on my wedding day. I could write a whole separate review just on her. Simply put, she is a sorceress with her artistry and has the kindest heart to boot. I got more compliments on my hair and makeup on my wedding day/night than on my dress! Going into it, I wasn't sure what I wanted, but through working with LaDonna, she nailed it, and I had my vintage/classic Hollywood vibe. Liz, the second artist working with my bridal party, was also just as great! I had a few in the bunch who weren't as used to wearing makeup or weren't used to doing much with their hair, and Liz was able to give them looks that they were not only comfortable and felt like themselves in but also LOVED. Our hair and makeup stayed put through a Tornado storm warning, a night full of dancing, the afterparty, through brunch the next day!

Truly, I cannot say enough wonderful things about the Lashes & Lace team. Don't look anywhere else for hair and makeup services for your wedding day - these ladies are IT!

10/10 Great Experience

Lashes and Lace was an truly wonderful addition to our wedding vendor list. Sarah was super easy to work with, especially given all the weirdness of pandemic times. LaDonna is just the absolute best at hair and makeup, and an absolutely wonderful person to get to know through the process. We had a Halloween wedding, and Lashes and Lace was able to accommodate my girls' costume makeup and last minute changes/additions. Definitely recommend!

I'd choose Lashes & Lace a thousand more times

If I did one thing right planning my wedding, it was hiring Lashes & Lace. Sarah was very prompt in reaching out when I emailed her for more information during my initial search for make-up services, and I knew within the first 5 minutes of the conversation that she was the artist for me! We just clicked! I have been fortunate enough to have my hair and makeup done for more than one occasion by this amazing team, and I can honestly say that their artistic vision is nothing short of amazing. They made me feel so beautiful on my wedding day, and the look turned out EXACTLY as I had envisioned it in my head. I was amazed! Not to mention how fun this group is to be around. It truly felt as though we had all been lifelong friends. Breath Taking

Saved my Wedding!!!

My MUA that I had booked cancelled two days before my wedding due to health issues, and wasn't able to come up with a second MUA to send along with her assistant. Which needless to say I was panicked about. Sarah and her crew were able to rearrange their schedules and get us two makeup artists for my ladies and I. My makeup was FABULOUS and on point for our costume wedding, and they even had brought someone well versed in special effects makeup that applied my elf ears in a way that they did not budge the entire night! Everyone was complimenting myself and my ladies all night long for the wonderful job they did with our makeup! I highly recommend them!

Thorough, Organized, Great to Work With!

Sarah and her crew did an amazing job. I was very impressed when I first spoke with Sarah. She was very organized and detail oriented. She made an agenda, which I greatly appreciated. They were flexible with my busy schedule and we were able to find the right time to do my hair and makeup for my bridal portraits. Kaia and LaDonna were absolutely amazing and talented. They adhered to the look I wanted and used high quality makeup and styling products. Fast forward to wedding day, the whole team (Kaia, LaDonna, Jenny and Liz) all arrived on time early in the morning with great attitude. They all were a blast to work with. Great and fun personalities! All my bridesmaids, mom and aunts enjoyed their company. They left all of us feeling beautiful for the special day. Lovely ladies

Sarah was instantly invested in my wedding day, even from the first phone call! She was determined to make my timeline work, and she did! She was so attentive, prompt, detailed and available to answer questions. My preview session with LaDonna was so much fun. She made me feel very taken care of and comfortable with myself. The day of the wedding was a breeze... LaDonna, Bonnie and Liz were cool as cucumbers the whole time and really helped keep things moving on track. The Absolute Best!

I don't even know where to begin. Sarah and her whole entire team were absolutely amazing.

From the beginning Sarah was super detailed and so fast to respond to my email, which I LOVED! She was super accommodating when it came to a wedding that was going to be entirely girls (which was A LOT of hair and makeup to do lol). It can be super hard being a part of the LGBTQ community here in Texas, but Sarah made us feel super comfortable from the very beginning. She understands the community and is very culturally competent!

When we went for our preview day, I was super comfortable and felt like Sarah, LaDonna and I had been friends for YEARS! Then on the wedding day I met the rest of the team (Elizabeth, Shanna, Liz, and Lauren) and felt the exact same well. Everyone on the team just meshed so well with our entire group!

They were all about keeping us calm...well really trying to keep me calm because they knew how much hard work I had put into every little detail and how much I was stressing about everything being perfect (like most brides). They made sure I was hydrated, that I eaten, and was comfortable the WHOLE entire day. There was a point towards the end of the getting ready time frame that I was really starting to stress and they all could tell, and they all did their best to help out where they could and helped to keep me calm.

I would recommend Lashes & Lace to every single bride. They just go above and beyond for their brides and you can tell how much they love what they do!

I had an absolutely magnificent experience with Sarah and LaDonna for my Indian and Catholic wedding in May 2019. Sarah was very organized, responsive, easy to work with, professional, friendly and accommodating. I appreciated how detailed she was in organizing our events since I had 3 events that I needed for hair and make up. I was matched with Ladonna for my make up and hair because of her skills in short hair styling, Indian wedding makeup and outfit styling. She was AMAZING and really listened to what I wanted in my look. She totally exceeded my own imagination and I felt beautiful and confident the whole time. I received many compliments on my make up and I highly recommend her for anyone's needs. She has versatile skills and really aims to achieve your vision. Love these people!

I cannot give this team enough praise! I have never liked to have my makeup done professionally because I am afraid it will look way over-done. Sarah listened to my concerns and always asked me if I liked/disliked what she did. She never made me feel like I couldn't speak up. LaDonna worked to create this beautiful hairstyle that was whimsical and everything I ever wanted! They took the best care of me, and my bridesmaids looked amazing as well! I still get compliments on how amazing we all looked.

Wedding Hair and Makeup

Booking Lashes and Lace for my wedding was one of my better decisions! They were accommodating in figuring out our tight schedule - having a tea ceremony on the same day as the wedding. Sarah managed the schedule with ease, and was very understanding about schedule changes. At no point during the wedding day did we feel rushed or hastened. Amazing experience from beginning to end!

Lashes and Lace is amazing! I worked with Tiinia, Kaia, and I believe Bonnie. They were all so amazing and made me feel so beautiful! I never wear any makeup or do anything to my hair, so I was pretty clueless coming into the whole thing. I provided them with pictures of the hairstyle I wanted, and they delivered to a tee! As for makeup, I told them do whatever will bring my eyes out and looks natural. They did just that, and I felt more beautiful than I ever had. Add to all that that they’re all super fun people to be around, and you have a great wedding day ahead of you!

Amazing work!!

Let me start by saying I don’t wear make up...maybe some mascara on a good day. I was nervous for my wedding because my husband is not a fan of makeup and hasn’t liked my professional makeup at weddings in the past. Sarah was so receptive to my concerns. She made me more beautiful than I thought possible (even my husband loved it)! Ladonna did an amazing job with my hair as well! I told her just to do whatever and it looked great!! One guest at the wedding said I looked like Belle from Beauty and the Beast (which is of course my favorite movie from my childhood)! I was so incredibly happy with my hair and make up as well as my grandma’s, mom’s, and my bridesmaids. My mom even said that she got more compliments on her makeup and hair than any other time in her life. One of my bridesmaids commented that she felt more beautiful at my wedding than even her own. I was super lucky to get such a super team, and it really made my wedding day perfect (other than marrying the love of my life of course)! Love wedding hair & makeup!

Lashes & Lace did an AMAZING job for my wedding from start to finish. Sarah Downs, the owner, was super easy to work with and accommodates you any way she can. My preview session went very smoothly, and I was excited for the big day! These girls are professionals, and exceeded my expectations for the wedding day. My makeup looked flawless thanks to Kaia, especially with the airbrushing and lasted all night! The weather right before my wedding day was not ideal with rain all afternoon. Bonnie was amazing and worked with me to make my hair look fantastic with a last minute hairstyle change. The whole wedding party looked just as good. They really take their time to leave you feeling confident. All in all, I would recommend them to anyone, and my bridesmaid has already asked for their contact to use them too! I’m having my holiday hair and makeup done with them, so I’m a repeat customer! Thanks ladies.

Amazing Experience Overall!

Sarah and her team were organized, thoughtful, and fun to work with from the get-go. From our introductory phone call I knew I would be in good hands...as a bride I was VERY nervous about my hair and makeup for my wedding and Sarah, Bonnie, and the team were attentive, open to my feedback, and worked with me to create the best look for my day, even coming up with last minute substitutes for products I couldn't find or straight-up forgot to bring without missing a beat. They also did amazingly with all my bridesmaids who all felt gorgeous, which is all you want for the friends supporting you on your wedding day! 10/10 would recommend them for any bride.

I LOVED working with Sarah and her team! She was so detailed, professional, and had a very calming nature to her whenever we spoke; and during the time of stressful wedding planning, that's exactly what I needed. I loved the fact that she was so detailed, nothing was ever a surprise to me, no "hidden fees or charges" and I was never unsure of what to do, she made sure I was 100% in the know of what all was going on, and that itself is something that every bride appreciates. I felt I was always free to ask any question I had. I really appreciate that she was able to work with me even though I had to book so close to my wedding day. She kept a detailed timeline so I had time to complete everything needed before the trial and the wedding day. Not only is she a pleasure to work with, but she set me up with some of her great team members! LaDonna is AMAZING, she rocked my trail (unfortunately this was after my bridals and after I realized how important a legit makeup artist is). She took the time to make sure I was happy with my look, I never felt rushed or like I was just "another client", LaDonna made me feel like we had been besties forever. She even recommended some skin care and a few other products to help ensure I felt fabulous on my wedding day. On the wedding day she nailed that exact look again, plus the other two team members she brought for hair (Shannon) and assisting (Liz) really made my bridal party look on point and flawless. I loved my look, hair, makeup, and how my bridal party looked. Seriously, getting ready was so fun and a great way to relax with the girls before the nerves really start to set in. The lovely ladies that helped us get ready were also a blast to be with in that room. I had a lot of bridesmaids and others needing hair and makeup, and they were able to get us all done, keep us claim and happy! They were really great! I not only looked amazing in my professional wedding photos, but also the photos my guests took with their own camera!

I have to say, Sarah and LaDonna are awesome! They did such a good job of putting everything together for me in an understandable manner (unlike most wedding related agreements, ha!). LaDonna did exactly what I wanted with my hair and makeup. She also did my daughter's hair and make up and it was also perfect. LaDonna is professional, absolutely so much fun to be around, and she's a great conversationalist to boot. She's excellent at what she does, and I can't thank her enough.

Even thought my look was a bit unconventional, it was loved by all. And I was also called a Disney princess by one of the younger attendees, which was adorable.

So in short, hire these amazing chicas because they are the absolute best, and I will say, you get what you pay for! I've heard horror stories from other people about how they went with someone not as experienced and were lower cost in order to save a little bit, I'm telling you it's not worth it. I cannot recommend Lashes & Lace Makeup and Hair enough!! Bonnie took my inspiration and made my hair gorgeous. Kaia somehow channeled the look that was in my brain, half formed, and brought it to life with the most beautiful, long lasting makeup. Both were so kind and very sweet. They also did an amazing job with my four bridesmaids, my mom and my mother-in-law!

The experience was fantastic since the start, with owner Sarah Downs taking such care every step of the way. I was so nervous to hire someone to do hair and makeup because I thought it was an unnecessary expense. But the attention to detail, the selection of long-lasting products, and the invaluable time I saved made it so worth it! I felt so beautiful and relaxed on my wedding day!

Wow! I could write an essay about how great Lashes and Lace is! They are the sweetest, kindest women who are extremely professional but also make you feel so comfortable. Sarah was so organized which was a huge help to me. I knew she had everything covered and I didn’t have to worry about anything makeup & hair wise on my wedding day. They did exactly what I wanted for my hair and makeup on my wedding day. I couldn’t have been happier with the results & my look lasted all night. A couple of years back I did a pin-up photo shoot, and my hair/make-up artist was LaDonna Stein. She was so wonderful that as soon as I was engaged, I knew who I wanted for my wedding day. She works as one of the many talented hair/make-up artists for Lashes & Lace. I reached out via their website and have been overwhelmed with happiness with my experience. Sarah is your primary contact as well as one of the artists, and she is impeccable with details and response. Along the way, every question was answered quickly, and I never worried about a thing. The day of the wedding, all of the ladies were wonderful artists, and we thoroughly enjoyed their company too! I cannot recommend Lashes and Lace enough!!!

I seriously don't have enough good words to say about Lashes & Lace makeup and Hair. If you want to feel so beautiful and perfect book these ladies!! Sarah is the owner of Lashes & Lace she is the sweetest, so organized and its obvious she loves what she does. She has the best team as well. For my wedding I knew if I was going to be picky about anything it would be my hair & makeup. I was nervous finding someone who could offer what I would want and get it right, because it was my big day. From the very first phone call with Sarah, I knew automatically she knew what she was doing, and answered every single question I had... she is SO organized and I loved it, because I never had to worry about a thing.
For my trial hair &makeup day I actually had it booked and had to change the day in a panic and Sarah was very accommodating and was able to change the day for me with no worries and also responded back to me very promptly.
On my trail day Sarah and Randi were my girls. Sarah had me send pics of hair and makeup styles that I was wanting and had those available the day of to pull up for reference.
Sarah did my makeup and let me just say.... OMG it was sooooo gorgeous y'all!!! It was exactly what I was going for, except better and I didn't want to change one thing.
Same goes for my hair, Randi did my hair and she killed it... in a good way!! It was seriously so gorgeous and she made sure it was PERFECT, I didn't want to change one thing!!
My wedding day was the best day of my life, partly because Sarah, Randi and Roni made me feel like a princess! Sarah had the whole day organized for me. These three ladies are a hoot and so good at what they do. Book them now!!!

Kaia from Lashes & Laces did my makeup, and I was thrilled with the results! L&L has a detailed info sheet for brides to complete, describing the look they hope to achieve, and they also ask for photos as an example of makeup looks you like, photos of your dress, etc. This struck me as so smart and professional, I was confident even before my trial run that they would do an amazing job. And they did! The service I needed was very minor compared to most weddings - since I don't have long hair to style (pixie cut) and I didn't have any bridesmaids, all I really needed was my own makeup done. L&L was very considerate of my needs and budget, and were so kind about helping me figure out how to get what I needed without blowing my whole budget on makeup alone. It was not "cheap" but it was absolutely worth every penny! Starting my wedding day with Kaia was a treat, because she was so sweet and calm -- great vibes for this giddy bride. Not to mention, most importantly, she is extremely talented!! My desired look was "very natural" -- I wanted to look beautiful, but I didn't want to look like I was wearing makeup. And she did it flawlessly! Every time I look at my wedding photos, I am SO GLAD that I invested in professional makeup. The makeup was applied at 8AM and looked stellar for our 2:00PM ceremony -- and also still looked fabulous for our 7:00PM reception! I very very very highly recommend Lashes & Lace!

Ladonna did a wonderful job for my bridal portraits and my wedding makeup and hair! My pictures turned out beautifully and I was so glad that I decided to hire someone to do my makeup and hair versus trying to do it myself. I cannot thank Lashes & Lace enough for the amazingly beautiful job they did for my wedding. Everyone looked absolutely stunning and I have had SO many compliments on how beautiful everyone looked. I was very particular about how I wanted my hair and makeup to look for my big day and Sarah and LaDonna absolutely nailed it!!! I was extremely pleased with how well the makeup lasted ALL day and night! My ceremony was at 10am and we weren't able to take pictures until 4pm and everyone's hair and makeup still looked flawless for the pictures.

Not only did they do an amazing job with hair and makeup but they also provided amazing customer service. Every time I reached out to Sarah with questions etc. she was always very quick to respond. I could not have asked for a better experience with these ladies. I would book them over and over again! Sarah, LaDonna, Randi and Tiinia ya'll are AMAZING!

As a pretty organized bride, I was looking for vendors who I felt would be not just nice and accommodating, but proactive and talented. On our first call, Sarah told me she uses "risk reduction strategies" to make sure everything is coordinated seamlessly, and I was sold. I also knew based on their portfolio that my style (classic, timeless) was definitely in their wheelhouse, but they could also give some of my bridesmaids a more edgier look if that's what they wanted. Sarah is a pro and a true artist with her makeup brushes. This is not the first time that she has done my make up, but each time she walks me through the process to make sure that I'm comfortable and I know what's coming next. She truly has an eye for color and enhancing the beautiful features each of her subjects has. I never feel "over done" or like I'm wearing costume/ stage makeup and my skin feels soft and able to breath throughout the entire day. I am a makeup junkie and am very picky with how i want my make up. I will admit i was skeptical when i thought about having someone else do my makeup but i am so glad i decided to do that. My make up artist was Sarah and she was amazing!!! No awkwardness either of sitting in chair with it being dead quiet and just waiting to see the final look. We talked and it was like i was talking to a friend i known for a while. I got that feeling when she was doing my make up for my Engagement photo shoot and that was the first time I met her! :) My hairstylist was Randi and she was so easy to talk to! I'm picky with my bangs and without me even really saying anything she got my hair right every single time :) Yes she is that good! They both are! I got married in March after a short (4 months) engagement. Since we didn't have much time to plan, it was a daunting task to find reputable vendors that we could trust AND book for our date. I read about Lashes & Lace on a popular wedding blog and was immediately intrigued. I submitted an inquiry via their website, and the owner, Sarah, responded promptly. Sarah was incredibly helpful, informative, and supportive. She worked with my then fiancee and I to create a test run and day of package that worked perfectly for us. She was also very careful to accommodate our wish not to see each other between our sessions.

Our stylist was LaDonna. She was an absolute joy! My wife does not typically wear makeup, and was very unsure of what she wanted. LaDonna was very patient and helpful in guiding her to a look that allowed my wife to feel both confident and like herself. I had more ideas of what I wanted, but most of my inspiration images did not mesh well together. LaDonna worked with me to create a makeup look and hairstyle that somehow incorporated all of my inspiration images and "feelings." I could not be happier. I felt absolutely gorgeous on my wedding day, and received tons of compliments on my hair and makeup.

I would not hesitate to recommend Lashes & Lace, and LaDonna for any of your hair and/or makeup needs.

After completing my bridal/bridesmaid hair & make-up trial, my sister and I were so excited about the wedding day and having Sarah and her team transform me and the bridal party. As most wedding days go, there were many times where I got frustrated with bridesmaids or got concerned with staying on schedule or dealing with the logistics of the day, but Sarah constantly reminded me to relax and enjoy the day. My wedding was in the evening and I was anxious to just get to the church and get through the day, but Sarah's sweet and encouraging words helped me stay in the moment and soak everything in. How many times do you get to have a big slumber party with your best friends then having some do your hair and make-up? Not many times, and I truly treasured that time I had with my closest friends and family and am so appreciative of Sarah and her team who listened to us gossip and complain, laughed with us, and helped us truly be in the moment. The entire experience really was a dream come true; I felt like a princess and that part of the day could not have gone any more perfect.

Reasons Why I loved Lashes & Lace:
1.) Sarah is amazingly detailed and organized, quick to respond, and is a wealth of information! This is what originally set her apart from other make-up artists I looked for in the DFW area. I asked a lot of questions and she was great at making sure I had all the information I needed!
2.) They go above and beyond for their clients! Sarah helped me figure out a location for my bridal portraits! I wasn't sure about the outdoor location I was considering and she provided me with her honest feedback (but mentioned she was happy to accommodate whatever I decided). She provided some suggestions and I ended up going with one of them. Couldn't be happier I went with that option! All thanks to Sarah, I wouldn't have even considered it! Out of all of my wedding vendors, Lashes and Lace has THE BEST client/customer service!
3.) Flexible and greatly accommodating. She really worked with me on my bridal portraits timeline for hair and makeup and took a lot of consideration with scheduling my bridesmaids for my wedding day.
4.) Quick to respond. She is quick to get back to me and does a really great job of setting the expectation of when I will hear from her.
5.) Beautiful work! Sarah did a great job of making my make-up look flawless, taking my ideas and concerns into consideration. I love how it turned out! LaDonna did my hair and created, basically, a work of art on my head :) She is very talented and did a wonderful job collaborating and combining a few looks I was considering.
7.) Reasonable Pricing. When looking for a make-up artist, it can be a bit of a sticker shock. I found that Lashes and Lace was the reasonable. Especially after my experience with them so far... totally worth it!
6.) Lovely personalities! Sarah and LaDonna were so warm and welcoming. They really did a great job of making it a fun and relaxed experience.

Our makeup looked fabulous for my sister's wedding. Even though my face tends to be oily, she kept applying powder to reduce the shine while working on the other girls in the bridal party throughout the day. She is a perfectionist and we all looked great!!

LaDonna really reminds us laypersons that hair and make-up is an art. My experience was all around wonderful.I had a wedding dress that felt like it was rather over the top; however, I actually received comments on my hair from every single female at the wedding. My hair was so wonderful, I wish I could have had more time to myself just to stare at it in the mirror. I have not gotten the professional photos from our photographer, but I can tell even from the low-res ones I have seen so far from friends and family that the make-up made my face look really "fresh"- for lack of a better word. She made my skin look great - like I had been getting plenty of water and sleep for a month prior (neither of these really happened) and the finish of the make-up was flawless until the end of night. LaDonna also did hair and make-up on my mom; my mother visited from Germany and does not speak English fluently, but she told me that she just instantly trusted LaDonna and her ability to make her look great. The atmosphere she created was very relaxed and friendly which was very important to me.

Sarah and her team were fabulous! Not only did they make me feel comfortable, but my hair and makeup looked amazing AND lasted for the rest of the night. I highly recommend Sarah and her crew for any occasion.

Sarah and her crew were amazing!!! I can't say enough about this group. Sarah came to our rescue at the last minute for my daughter's wedding and they did an outstanding job. The girls were all quite pleased with both their hair and makeup. I've never had this done before so I was a little scared and skeptical. I got a ton of compliments at the wedding.....although I thought it was more makeup than I liked. Sarah was amazing. I was quite impressed, also, with how professional she handled the whole ordeal from start to finish. I would highly recommend this group of girls for your wedding.

Sarah and Kaia were wonderful! They did my hair and makeup for my sisters wedding. I never felt uneasy about how I looked. They made sure each and everyone of us was happy with our hair and makeup before packing up and leaving. I felt flawless all night!

Sarah and the team at Lashes & Lace were wonderful! They were timely and efficient and were able to beautify the entire wedding party throughout the day. Sarah did both my hair and make-up and I absolutely loved the outcome! Being a perfectionist myself, I really appreciated how thorough Sarah was, making sure I looked flawless. I received compliments on my look all night. I would recommend Lashes & Lace without hesitation to any brides and bridesmaids wanting to look fabulous on their big day!

I have loved working with Lashes & Lace for hair and makeup for my wedding. Sarah is wonderful to work with and prompt and thorough in her communications. My mom and I had our trial hair and makeup done this week with Walter and he is the best! He is very attentive to what styles make you feel beautiful and is always checking in to make sure you love your look. He gave me several options to help an indecisive bride like myself.

I have very, very long hair and LaDonna was super excited to work with it- resulting in me getting exactly what I wanted for my hair: something with braids that still looks sleek and not too romantic. I liked the final product so much, I even changed my mind on using a comb I had already purchased for the wedding day and will replace it with smaller individual hair pins that show off the intricacy of the hair design. She will absolutely take time to think through your ideas with you and knows how to create a look that is not just what you asked for, but also flattering to your individual appearance.

Sarah and her team were so so wonderful! Randi did my hair/makeup for my bridal portraits as well as my wedding day. We did my bridal portraits on a surprisingly humid/warm day in Dallas. After the hair/makeup, she stayed with me making sure to touch up my makeup and blot any sweat that happened. On the wedding day, she was just as wonderful. Sarah's entire team was so much fun and incredibly professional. They sang 90s hits with us, and most importantly, all the girls looked GORGEOUS. I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend Lashes and Lace :)

The morning of my wedding was rushed and early, but Sarah and LaDonna were prompt and efficient. They kept to my schedule for the day down to a tea and had everyone’s hair and makeup done with insane precision. LaDonna came ready for my newly added extensions and Sarah was able to cover up my wedding week breakouts (my usually oily, broken out skin looked FLAWLESS). I couldn’t have been happier with how my hair and makeup turned out on my wedding day! My hair stayed all day long and looked amazing in the process. My makeup was exactly what I had envisioned for my wedding day. I couldn’t have asked for better artists for my special day! Thank you Lashes and Lace!

I reached out to Lashes and Lace back in late September for my wedding makeup and hair. I new after one conversation with Sarah Downs that I needed to book with them. Sarah was very prompt at answering my questions, polite, professional and gave me a fair price. She selected for LaDonna to be my makeup and hair artist. I met with LaDonna to do a trial run for my wedding makeup and hair on December 15th. LaDonna took the time to review the questionnaire I submitted pertaining to my vision prior to us meeting. She has a wonderful personality, took her time and most of all surpassed all my expectations. I highly recommend using LaDonna for your special event you may have coming up!!

LaDonna was more than helpful with everything on my wedding day. She did hair and makeup for myself and two of my bridesmaids (one of which now wants to use her for her own upcoming wedding). All of our hair and makeup turned out amazing and I have nothing but good things to say. It was drizzly on the day of my wedding and prior to the ceremony during pictures my hair got a little messed up from the rain. LaDonna fixed my hair and made it to where it didn't move during our rainy ceremony!! If I ever have an event that I need to look fabulous, I will call LaDonna! On another note Sarah helped schedule everything for me. She was so courteous, responded quickly, and made me feel important as both a client and a bride. I would highly recommend Lashes and Lace to anyone that wants to look and feel amazing.

The trial run went smoothly, Walter was very open to suggestions and comments. He made the whole session fun and professional. I would definitely use their services again in the future and recommend the services.
On my wedding day, he was right on time, and made the whole appointment very relaxing. Many people gave me nice comments on how nice my makeup and hair was done. My sister curls and makeup lasted the whole night; she look beautiful. My mom's style was done very nicely, though hair extensions would've made the hairdo perfect.

Sarah was really helpful in creating a overall wedding package for me. She takes your concerns into consideration!! I was nervous to have my makeup done professionally, and Sarah was willing to set up a pre-pre trial run for me! The artists with Lashes and Lace are amazing. ( I had Kaia for makeup and Tiinia for hair) I was SO impressed with my services! The artists are also very consistent as well. I was very pleased that the artists were able to recreate my hair and makeup for my wedding exactly how they had done them for my portraits! I didn't have to request them to make changes on my wedding day! Besides having talented artists, I also felt like they each had top of line gear. (for example) It was really fun getting to have air brush make up and it lasted SO WELL. Besides the artists being talented, everyone I met was also very nice and so easy to work with and get along! On my wedding day I had my bridesmaids get their hair done and each of them had a fun and great experience with the hair stylists.

If I ever need to look fabulous for an event again, I am definitely using Lashes and Lace : )

Ladonna was a dream to work with on my wedding. She was so much more than just a hair and makeup artist, she helped me plan the appropriate amount of time needed to get ready prior to the wedding and accompanied me to the venue to help me get dressed and put on my veil. We had a bridal trial and then a secondary trial when she did my hair and makeup for my bridal portraits. Ladonna also did the hair and makeup for my mother and sister in law to be and they could not have been happier. She is courteous, professional, relaxing to be around, and one of the best hair and makeup artists I have ever worked with. Would highly recommend for any event.

I recently worked with Sarah and Randi for my engagement portraits and for my trial run. They are amazing!!! They take the time to understand the look that you want and do beautiful work. They are very
timely, professional, and have a wonderful and positive energy. Out of all of the things I could be stressing out about on my wedding day, I know that hair and makeup for myself and my wedding party will not be one of them! Sarah is extremely responsive and timely with any questions I have, and methodically planned out the day-of timing so that I don't have to worry! Did I mention how beautiful their work is?? Can't wait for the big day!

Words can not express the gratitude I have for the ladies of Lashes & Lace! The ladies not only did my wedding make-up and hair but also my sister's wedding hair and make-up and man did they knock both weddings out of the ball park! At both weddings myself, my sister, and our wedding parties looked simply stunning and the tremendous job did not go unnoticed by our guests. We received compliments for many months after about how gorgeous our hair and make-up looked. The photos turned out incredible as well! Not only do these ladies know make-up and hair, but they are a blast to work with. They keep the wedding day jitters away with their fun and free spirits, you feel more like you're hanging out with friends than a vendor. Every bride I run into I tell them they MUST us L&L, so if you are reading this to determine your wedding hair and make-up vendor then search no more. . . You MUST use Lashes & Lace!!!

La Donna was amazing and she did such wonderful job on my hair and make up for the bridal portraits! She is extremely talented and super sweet, just a great person to be around when I was so stressed and anxious about the pictures! She understood everything I wanted it and if I wanted to change something for the actual wedding day, that it would be ok!!!

Also I have to give props to Sarah for being so sweet, accommodating and efficient helping me get everything set up and walking me through the whole process! I would absolutely recommend them to everyone, I loved them!

For my sisters wedding we had Sarah do the bridal parties makeup and we absolutely LOVED it! Not only was the make up perfect and personalized for every girl but we had a good time getting it done. Sarah was personable and funny and we were able to be ourselves during the whole process. If I get married in Texas I would 100% book Sarah for my wedding!

I would highly recommend these girls for whatever occasion you have! I had Kaia for make up and Randi for my hair and they were amazing. Not only did I love my make up but it felt light and lasted all night through the sweat from dancing! I "upgraded" to the airbrush and most my wedding party did too and I definitely recommend it. My hair was in a low updo and it was so elegant! Randi worked with me for the trial also and was super flexible with the look I wanted. I had 10 girls in my wedding party and they finished everyone ahead of schedule and looking stunning! I did all the planning long distance and Sarah was so sweet and super patient with me and I would definitely use them again! These girls are worth it!

Sarah did my makeup and Randi did my hair for my trial run before the wedding. Both of them were extremely friendly and helpful, and they took the time to discuss what I wanted beforehand. They set me at ease and I had total confidence that they understood what I wanted and that they would do an excellent job. Most importantly, they made me look beautiful! :) I am so excited to have them do hair and makeup for me and all of my bridesmaids on the wedding day.

Sarah is truly gifted in her craft. Being an african-american woman, I was so hesitant on which makeup artist to hire for my special day based on past experiences where the makeup artist made me look too light or too dark and wasn't able to match me correctly. Sarah, having worked will all shades of skin tones, eased my fears over the phone and by directing me to look at her work, and I'm so glad I did! We did a trial run and it was so super beautiful but when I realized I didn't match the color palate right to the rest of my wedding scheme, I emailed Sarah and asked her if we could change it at our next trial run and even sent pictures of my wedding decor and photos of color palate with ladies who matched my skin tone. I had engagement pictures that day and Sarah did a phenomenal job! Everybody commented on how gorgeous I looked! I can't wait to have the whole complete look with my dress and hair for my wedding day! I am very excited all over again! Sarah heard me out, was super patient, and flexible with me because i had to change the dates for the pictures due to my photographer changing the dates on me for the bridal pictures. I cannot wait to review again after my wedding. I felt like my best friend was doing my makeup! Sarah makes the experience so comfortable and wonderful. I love her.
