Amazing Chamber Music!

We hired Vera and her team for our wedding a few weeks ago, and they were wonderful! We had the violin and cello duet play for both our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour, and our guests are still talking about how much they loved them. Vera was very responsive and easy to work with, and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for chamber music for their wedding!

Beautiful music...

We engaged Lark to play during a cocktail hour at our daughter’s wedding. They did a lovely job. The music was beautiful and also we really appreciate Vera’s flexibility with our date change!

Sound amazing and very easy to work with!

Lark was wonderful! We hired a trio for the ceremony and cocktail hour for our wedding on 1/11/20. They sounded amazing and were super easy to work with and very flexible. I had specific songs in mind for the processional and recessional but nothing particular for cocktail hour. They were able to make my choices happen and come up with their own program for the cocktail hour. Vera was super easy to communicate with and very sweet! (And she accepts Venmo, which made life a little easier ;) )

Music to our ears!

We loved having the Lark team serenade us and our guests on our big day. Vera is everything in terms of responsive, flexible and helpful to create an amazing playlist which they executed to perfection!

Lark Chamber Music was the absolute best touch for our ceremony! Vera was so responsive and accommodating when it came to playing music that was not on their usual list. They played everything I wanted and sounded so perfect and beautiful on the day of! Would definitely recommend!

Lark Chamber was wonderful to work with on our wedding day. They made everything so easy as we prepared the music for our ceremony. They helped us through the process and made great recommendations. Then on the wedding day, the music was absolutely beautiful and really made the ceremony very special. It was one of our favorite moments of the day to be outside in front of our family and friends with this beautiful music in the background. I really recommend Lark Chamber to anyone looking for string music played by professional musicians but at a reasonable price.

Vera and the rest of the group were simply amazing! Although I know this group primarily plays weddings, they were superlative for my use as well. I planned a surprise private concert for my wife for our 15th. I arranged for the the group to be in the foyer of our house and wake us up with a beautiful Wagner selection. Vera was very flexible with this ask and made our anniversary memorable. Their preparation was exceptional on some very difficult music to learn on short notice including some pretty obscure selections. Bravo Vera and the rest of Lark! Will use them again for sure.

Having Vera was a perfect choice for our backyard wedding! She was very supportive as she and the bride worked seamlessly in selecting the music. Vera allowed plenty of time to arrive, set up and did not rush. She looked and performed very professionally and added the romantic classy touch to the lakeside event that we hoped for. We would definitely not hesitate to call again for repeat performance!

I, too, am a professional musician, and I wanted to find a quartet that would be willing to perform original compositions and arrangements that were composed by me. The music I wrote and arranged was a gift to the bride, my sister, and I couldn't be happier about the level of correspondence from Vera and how well the music was performed. My sister, my parents, and many of the guests approached me during the party following our cocktail hour to tell me how wonderfully the quartet played. Initially, my parents and sister were going to have a DJ play the music for the ceremony and cocktail hour, but I convinced them that a string quartet would be a far better choice for such an occasion. Vera and the Lark Chamber Music Quartet proved me right.

My vision for what Lark Chamber Music would play during our ceremony matched what their vision is, and their song list was very helpful. They sounded beautiful from the little I heard (I was the bride so only heard a tiny bit). I'm very happy I went with their trio for my ceremony! The price was also quite right!

Vera was such a pleasure to work with during the planning portion -- and the music turned out more beautiful than I even imagined! I hired the string duo (violin and cello) for our ceremony and cocktail hour. During the planning, Vera provided a list of wonderful options the duo already had prepared and was willing to learn a new song, if needed. We ended up finding all the songs we wanted on the list and proceeded very smoothly. Luckily, it was perfect weather so Vera and her partner were able to perform outside in the courtyard during cocktail hour, which was such a lovely touch. I would absolutely recommend Lark!

We hired Vera to provide a violin trio for our daughter's wedding ceremony at Montaluce Winery in Dahlonega, GA. Vera was wonderful to work with in selecting the songs that the trio would be playing and even found the arrangements to a couple of songs that we requested they play. Their music was beautiful.

Lark made our ceremony and our cocktail hour elegant and stylish. Vera was very easy to talk to and she even learned some music, so we could hear a couple jazz standards for cocktail hour. Vera was an incredible addition to our wedding!! We had a piano, violin, and cello trio for our ceremony and cocktail hour. Her responsiveness and professionalism from the moment we hired her was amazing. I knew she was a great hire when I got really busy a few weeks before the wedding and she was persistent with her follow up because she had questions and she wanted to make sure We had exactly the kind of music We wanted at the wedding. I am so thankful she was able to be a part of the day because her music completed the vision I had for my wedding. She even accommodated my request of having the string ensemble sit by a beautiful fountain at our venue! All of my guests are still talking about how much they enjoyed the sound and the experience it created for the day. Thank you Vera and Lark Chamber Music!

We could not have asked for a better string ensemble to play at our wedding reception than Lark Chamber Music! We had a church wedding on a Sunday afternoon and were going for an upscale garden party theme for the reception. Vera's ensemble was beautiful and elegant, and the music was absolutely perfect. Working with Vera was such a pleasure, and my husband and I are so glad to have met her in this process! She truly takes pride in her art and cares for her clients. She would check in periodically with us to make sure we were on the same page about the music as well as the logistics. Our plan was for the string quartet to play in the garden and a pianist play inside, but there was a downpour right when my husband and I arrived at the end of cocktail hour. Vera and her team moved inside to the ballroom seamlessly and we had our first dance inside instead of in the garden like we planned. You would have thought it was all on purpose. Vera coordinated with our pianist, and together they created a beautiful atmosphere for our guests. Vera even played solo out front as guests arrived which really impressed them and set the tone for the afternoon. She was extremely conscientious of our vision for our reception, and we trusted her to choose most of the playlist. She did an amazing job!! We chose the songs for the main dances which were "Can't Help Falling in Love" by Elvis for our first dance, "Sweet Child of Mine" for the father/daughter dance, and "What a Wonderful World" for the mother/son dance. My husband and I are not dancers by any means and she happily shortened everything up to 2-3 minutes, which was perfect. Our guests are still raving about how wonderful their music was, and they seemed to really enjoy watching them play. Please don't hesitate to contact Vera for your event. She is so lovely to work with, and there is not a chance at all that you would be disappointed. We can't say enough good things about her! :)

Vera was so incredible helpful through the entire process of our wedding, from song selection to program wording, to the beautiful music provided. On the day of, the violin and cello we selected were one of the highlights of our day and our ceremony. I would highly recommend using them for any event or wedding you may have.

I cannot say wonderful things about Lark Chamber Music. From my initial inquiry, Vera was extremely helpful with coordinating pieces, assisting my soloists with arrangements, and accommodating my non-traditional song choices. After careful consideration, we chose the piano quintet option....and I'm so glad we did! The group's rich sound and overall musicality helped to make our ceremony absolutely perfect. Lark's musicians are very talented, and I look forward to using them again in the future!

It was such a pleasure working with Vera and her staff at Lark. What a talented and professional group of individuals!

Vera met with us months prior to the wedding to discuss song selections we planned for the ceremony. Some of the song selections we picked were not your traditional wedding songs, but Vera accommodated each and every request we had. Nothing was impossible. She continued to stay in touch with us and was always very courteous and readily available. We had a duo perform at our daughter’s wedding and received so many compliments on the beautiful music. Lark Chamber Music was the perfect choice for their ceremony!

Thanks to Lark Chamber Music for their amazing performance throughout the evening on our wedding... Even though we had not even met in person until the wedding day, through our conference calls, they were able to understand our taste in music and put together an incredible ensemble!. The families of the bride and of the groom were so appreciative of the beautiful music. The violin set the tone for the entire wedding ceremony. It was perfect! Many of our friends asked who played such a lovely violin, and said how much they loved the music. I told them how professional Vera was from start to finish.

The musicians Lark Chamber Music were incredible. They played for my daughter’s wedding and really help put ceremony over the top. My daughter asked me to help with the music selection she only provided two clues. She wanted Canon in D play for her enterance and the rest was up to me. She also wanted music to be nontraditional and fresh. Never doing this before and worrying about stepping on landmines, I boldly made my choices. I gave them to Dr. Vera at Lark Chamber and she did a beautiful arrangement with the music that work very well from the prelude to recession. I did not tell my daughter what I chose for the music. I wanted it to be a surprise, and if I was going to die it could be after the ceremony. Everyone mention how well the musicians played and I could tell the musicians enjoyed playing the songs as well. they were provessional, on time, and dress very smartly. The musicians were so into helping this be a big success, the Cellist gave up his bowtie when one of the groomsman forgot his. What a life saver for all of us. They helped make this an unforgettable day for the bride and groom, but I know the rest of guest will remember it for a long time. Thank you Lark Chamber Music!

I can't say enough about my wonderful experience with Lark Chamber Music! Dr. Vera Ilyushina played some classical selections on violin and set the tone beautifully for my outdoor wedding. She was courteous, professional, and such a delight to be around. I dealt with so many vendors who were slow in responding to questions and that got very stressful as the wedding date approached. Dr. Ilyushina was prompt in responding to all of my inquiries and so helpful with anything I needed. Also, for the quality and professionalism you'll get with Lark, the VALUE simply cannot be beat.

I had many compliments from our guests on the quartet. I also enjoyed
listening to them play as we lined up to come down the aisle. The ceremony was in a peaceful setting by a lake and Lark's lovely music added to that serenity. They played during the cocktail hour which added that special
touch of elegance. Loved them!!!

I cannot say enough about how professional and accommodating Lark Chamber Music was. I would recommend them to anyone for their marriage ceremony or any occasion requiring professional chamber music. They worked with the sister of my bride to put together a German opera piece they made our ceremony. They also played everything we wanted them to play as well as doing a wonderful rendition of our favorite Beatles song as we exited the chapel. Thanks Lark! I was so please to have found Vera with Lark Chamber music to play at my daughters outdoor wedding. We were looking for a violinist and keyboard player, which she was resourceful and met our needs despite our difficulty finding someone to accompany a violinist w keys outside. This duo performed beautifully together and delivered exactly what we were looking for. Vera was very professional in assessing our needs and so helpful guiding our daughter in music selections, as well as contacting the other vendors and vocalist to make sure all went smoothly for our ceremony. I would absolutely rehire them for another family wedding as well as refer them to any of our friends and family.

Absolutely exceptional performers. Music was beautiful and all requested songs were played (including a last minute request only days before the wedding). Vera is completely professional, responsive to emails and Lark was by far the best wedding vendor for our event. I would, without hesitation, recommend Lark Chamber Music for your wedding. Vera was so easy to work with. She was always quick to respond to emails and was extremely flexible with song choices. The music was absolutely beautiful. I couldn't have asked for better ceremony music for the most important day of my life. I recommend Lark most highly!!

I recently had Vera play at my wedding reception, she was wonderful! She was quick to respond to any questions and accomodated all of our requests. I was impressed with how thoruough she was, making sure she had all the info she needed to help make our wedding perfect. Lark duo, trio Vera added a keyboardist and they were awesome, we gave them a list of songs that we really love. They played all of the music so wonderfully and really made the event an event! Thanks Lark you guys are great.

Vera was an absolute pleasure to deal with. She is not a "stereotypical musician." She is, in fact, the consummate professional. Detail-oriented, punctual, professional, and caring, all wrapped up with talent which made the day.

Our wedding was outdoor in a 20mph wind, and Vera was in the gazebo behind the altar. Standing at the far end of the seating area, even with the wind, the sound she produced was amazing. My son even put his flip camera on the wall at the back of the seating area and we can clearly hear the music on the video...from over 75' away...outdoors. Talent and adapatability.

I would recommend Vera's talent and professionalism. She takes the stress away from the musical component of an already stressful process.

You provided a piano and violin for the ceremony music for my daughter's wedding in the Pavilion at The Foundry Park Inn in Athens, GA. The music was absolutely beautiful and everything we had hoped for. I would definitely recommend Lark Chamber Music to future brides!!

I can’t say enough good things about Vera. She really went out of her way to make sure that the music for our wedding was perfect. I chose songs that were not at all traditional and she had to go out and find the sheet music for them with only about a month of notice before the wedding. Then, at the wedding she spoke with me and my officiant to make sure that the timing was perfect and everything flowed seamlessly. Vera plays beautifully! She made all of the songs that I chose come to life and that really made our wedding unique and special. One of the memories of my wedding day that I will always cherish is hearing the officiant announce us as Mr. and Mrs. Wilson as Vera played “Alegria”… I could not have dreamed it any better!

Lark Chamber Music provided live music for our wedding and added such an elegant touch to our outdoor ceremony. Vera was extremely easy to work with. She provided numerous suggestions based on the atmosphere we wanted to create at our wedding and was extremly professional throughout all our interactions. It was such a relief to work with someone who was punctual and reliable. The group has several videos you can watch to get a feel for their sound and this made it much easier to make the decision to hire them. I would recommend their services to anyone!! Vera played beautifully. We chose to have our wedding ceremony featuring a violinist playing the Beatles. Vera said that she had never done an all Beatles ceremony but she quickly and easily accommodated our request. I'm so glad we went with lark! It was a beautiful backdrop to a beautiful ceremony!!

Lark Chamber Music provided a string quartet for our wedding and it was our favorite thing about our ceremony. It added such a nice touch and our guests still talk about it. Vera was extremely helpful and was willing to play a hymn that we requested even though it is not a song that they typically play. We were delighted with them and we highly recommend them.

Vera and her pianist performed a combination of classical and contemporary music selections for our wedding, May 21, at the Oakton House and Gardens in Marietta. Vera was kind enough to locate the sheet music and play several selections we asked for that were meaningful to us, but not necessarily standard wedding fare. They performed wonderfully and made the beautiful outdoor ceremony all the more special. Lark Chamber Music is highly recommended.

Our Duet was Fantastic!!! Of course I do not remember their names, our wedding day went by so quickly, but the musicians who played at our service and reception were top-shelf professionals. I attend the ASO regularly and our musicians were clearly in this league. They arrived early and were set-up and ready as promised - they needed no coaching. We had a change in venue at the last minute because of bad weather, and the last minute change was zero drama. After the service, we all had to move over to the reception venue and they were there before any of us, and were playing to greet our guests. And not only were they the consummate professionals, everyone remarked how charming and friendly they were, as well.

Lark Chamber Music provided an element of understated class that was a positive enhancement to our wedding service. I'm so happy that we contacted them and that they were able to play for us (we started our planning late in the season). I would not hesitate for a moment, to recommend Lark for your event. They were a true delight!!!
