Natural Looking and Beautiful

I had a fantastic experience working with Lara Christine for my wedding hair and makeup in July 2022 at Dexter’s Inn! She was kind, communicative, easy to work with, and listened to what I wanted. I told her that I wanted natural makeup so that I “looked like myself but fancy” and she did just that. I tweaked a few things from my trial and she listened to exactly what I wanted. She brought a second stylist to help with hair because I had 6 bridesmaids getting their hair done and everyone came out looking gorgeous! We also ended up ahead of schedule and had some time to relax. Would 100% recommend Lara!

We could not have been happier!

Lara was wonderful to work with and traveled on site to the wedding venue. She did a great job accommodating each bridesmaid's requests for their make up and highlighted every person's natural beauty so well. Our make up, including lip color, lasted all night! She was very professional, wore a mask, and was very pleasant to work with. I would definitely recommend her to a friend!

Excellent Job!

Lara did an amazing job on all of my bridesmaids and myself and really helped contribute to my perfect day. My hair held up throughout the night even with lots of dancing and it being 90 degrees. For makeup, I really wanted a more natural look and she definitely achieved that.

Wonderful Experience

Lara and her team were wonderful throughout our wedding day getting ready experience. Not only did our hair and makeup come out perfect, but Lara and her team went above and beyond addressing any concerns and even working through a 5 year old's breakdown about getting her hair done. Great experience!

Lara, Mark and team did an outstanding job on my wedding day! There were 13 girls and 2 bridemaids all done on time and beautifully! Everyone looked glam but also themselves. Absolutely stunning!

Lara was absolutely amazing to work with! From the first email to our hair and makeup trial to the day of the wedding, Lara was extremely professional and organized and made everything run smoothly. Absolutely amazing!

Lara was responsive and professional from start to finish! We had a covid wedding and had to make many adjustments, but Lara ensured that our glam wasn’t sacrificed! Amazing Elopement Hair & Makeup

Lara was such an amazing person to work with for my elopement. From the first email, she was super helpful in helping me to plan out what services I would need for myself and my two co-MOHs as well as clearly laying out the process for booking her, the prices, and what the day of would look like. My trial was amazing and she understood exactly the look I was going for as well as incorporated my flower crown perfectly. On the day of she arrived early to set up and finished right when she said she would. She took all of the stress out of getting ready for the ceremony and pictures and made myself and my co-MOHs look incredible. I would definitely recommend Lara for your big day, you won't regret it!

Absolutely perfect!

Lara and her team did an absolutely amazing job on my wedding. I did a lot of research trying to find a makeup artists who would give me a "natural" makeup look, and a hair artist that could tame my curly hair. Lara was perfect! My fiance loved my look, and said I looked just like myself on the day. All of the bridesmaids were extremely happy with how their hair and makeup came out, too. Lara and her team were great with both girls who had very specific ideas about what they wanted to look like, and girls who gave them no direction at all. They were able to get through hair and makeup for 6 bridesmaids, the mother of the groom, and myself in 5 hours with no issues. Finally, Lara was extremely accomodating with my hair and makeup trial. I asked her last minute if she could squeeze me in the day of a wedding I was attending in July, because we were moving out of town and this was the last possible day that I could have the trial. She squeezed me in on her only day off in all of July, and made me look gorgeous for the wedding. I could go on... but overall I was thoroughly impressed with Lara and her team's professionalism and work product. I would definitely recommend hiring her for your event!

Lara is the best!

Lara did my hair and makeup for my June 2020 wedding and did a fantastic job - I am still getting compliments when people see the pictures. My hair looked amazing and stayed in place the whole time which has never happened and same with my makeup. It was during the time of COVID and she had a mask on and everything so everyone was safe. We had a relaxing morning, she did my hair and makeup and did exactly what I asked for which was just for it to be natural but pretty. I gave her the reigns and trusted her and I'm so glad I did.

Stunning work!

Lara and her team are simply amazing! Lara was responsive, kind, and knowledgeable in helping me draft my beauty needs. She was easy to work with and so nice to get to know. During my trial, she was attentive to all of details I was looking for and receptive to my feedback.

Highly recommend!

I can't praise Lara and Cheryl enough. I got married this past weekend in NH and Lara and Cheryl did hair and makeup for myself, 3 bridesmaids, 2 moms and a flower girl. Everyone looked STUNNING. They both listened to each of us as to what we wanted and really put time into each of our looks. I had a trial with Lara beforehand and she worked with me and truly listened to me and my vision for wedding day. Myself and my three bridesmaids have been in numerous weddings and we all said this was the best hair and makeup we've ever had! The makeup isn't cakey or heavy and hair was just beautiful. Lara was very easy to communicate with and they were both so much fun to work with! Highly recommend to any bride!

Easy to work with and very fun

Lara was amazing! She did mine and my wife’s makeup. She really listened to what we wanted and ensured we both loved our hair and make up. Loved my wedding hair and makeup!

Lara and her team were great! I had a trial done a few weeks before my wedding and Lara did a great job bringing my hair and makeup vision to life. She was also able to give great suggestions based on my hair and skin type. On the wedding day Lara and her team arrived promptly and were ready to go! Each of my bridesmaids felt comfortable voicing their desired hair and makeup styles and the ladies delivered. I especially loved how natural our hair looked and it didnt look like there was a ton of hair spray caked on to keep it in place. Everyone's hair and makeup came out great and lasted all night long. Would highly recommend using Lara and her team!

Lara is the best hair and makeup stylist in New England

I am a perfectionist, and I can honestly say that Lara did a perfect job on my hair and makeup for my wedding. I have very fine, thick hair, which is tricky to work with, and she made it look even more beautiful than I had imagined possible. The makeup was beautiful too - she matched my skin perfectly! Plus, she has the best vibe - the moment you meet her, you feel like you've known her for years. No wonder she has perfect reviews!

Loved my hair & makeup!

Lara did a fantastic job with hair and makeup for my wedding! I had two trials with her leading up to the wedding and during these she was flexible, patient, listened to what I had in mind for an overall look and style, and made honest and reasonable recommendations. She brought in the perfect number of stylists to help ensure that we weren’t rushed or behind schedule the morning of the wedding, and my hair and makeup lasted all night without any issues. My wedding party, my mother and I were so happy with how well everything turned out, and I truly felt like the most beautiful bride. I would highly recommend her services!

Amazing Hair Artist!

Lara did my hair for my wedding in September 2019. She was so great to work with and listened as I described and showed what I liked during the hair trial. She was able to create a stunning up-do that went perfectly with my dress and incorporated my veil easily. More importantly, it lasted - all day! Even after hours of dancing, photos, and running around. I've had my hair professionally done a few times in the past and consistently have pain from bobby pins, but Lara was able to keep everything in place with no pain throughout the whole day. It ended up making a big difference for feeling confident and comfortable.
The wedding was early Sunday and I had concerns about being able to get my hair and the hair of my bridesmaids completed in time. Lara enlisted support from a co-stylist Cheryl and they both came on-site at 5am to get all our hair done (early!). Lara helped develop a day-of schedule to make sure we were on time and it relieved a lot of stress from the process.
I would highly recommend Lara for any event hair styling.

Beautiful, natural looking makeup and super with anxious Moms!

Lara was wonderful, my hair and makeup came out beautifully and lasted all day, even in wind that kicked up during pre-ceremony pictures. I liked that my makeup lasted, but didn't look too heavy. I felt like myself. Lara was also super flexible with travel and services. I really appreciated that she helped calm my anxious mom and helped her feel and look great! She also did a wonderful job with my 11 y.o. step-daughter's hair and light makeup, working with a style she had picked out.

A Perfect Experience!

Lara was an absolute dream to work with! Not only were her prices incredibly reasonable, but she also was very organized and kept a large bridal party moving in a timely manner. My photographer said that with Lara, ours was the first bridal party to be ready AHEAD of schedule. She is incredibly talented and listens well. She also makes helpful suggestions. Her assistant was also so personable and professional. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. You should 1000% hire Lara for your hair and makeup!

Everything happens for a reason

When my original hair and make up fell through due to personal reason, Lara was recommended. She went above and beyond all expectations!

She not only accommodated my trial, but also a make up trial for my mom. She also worked with my twice leading up to the wedding to dye my hair, so it would be perfect the day of. She also worked with me leading up to the wedding with revising the contract, as some services were added, but she made it easy!

The day of the wedding she showed up on time and kept everything on schedule, even with eight girls.

I was so impressed with her work and how great of a person she is, that I now use her for all my hair appointments.

I would highly recommend!

Lara was a good listener and made my wedding day hair style vision a reality. She was very helpful at my trial, reminding me to bring my veil and helped me with the wedding day timetable for myself, my bridesmaids and the MOB and MOG. She arrived at the venue with a second, trusted hairstylist, and kept a schedule that worked well with the photographer and make-up artists. I truly appreciated her experience when she advised me get my hair done in the middle of my crew instead of last like other artists I looked at. I loved my hair and it withstood a night of dancing! I met Lara when I was in a wedding last year. She did a great job on everyone's hair, so I knew I had to reach out to her for my own wedding. Lara did my hair and makeup for my wedding on Nov. 12, 2017. Everything from the trial, to the day-of was a very smooth process. Any changes I asked for were made and never seemed like it was any trouble. She was very professional, and did a truly fantastic job. Cheryl did up-dos for each of my bridesmaids and my flower girls. Everyone was stunning! :)

Lara did hair and makeup for my August wedding in Waterville Valley and she was amazing! Lara was always super responsive and quick to accommodate when I had to keep changing the number of people who were getting services the done up to a week before the wedding. She happily added 2 helpers (Sarah and Cheryl) for the day of the wedding and even prepped a schedule for me to fill out to help things move smoothly the day of. They were able to do hair and makeup for 7, makeup for 1, and hair for 1 with ease and with amazing results! Lara was able to give me the exact natural with a "POP" look I wanted for my wedding day and hair that stayed up the whole night even though I was getting down on the dance floor for a good chunk of the evening. As the pictures come in from the wedding, I'm still thrilled with my wedding day look! I couldn't recommend Lara more! And get the trial done - you'll be happy you did when you aren't stressing about stuff on your wedding day. Thanks, Lara!!

Lara was amazing! She listened to everything I was looking for and more! I had a trial with her first for hair and makeup and both looked beautiful. At the trial we did a half up half down look which I loved, but on the wedding day I decided to switch my hair to an updo due to the weather and it looked awesome! It rained during photos and my hair and makeup still stayed all night long. She was really accommodating and understanding of what my bridesmaids and I wanted for the day. She and her assistant Cheryl really did make us feel special and beautiful! I would highly recommend her.

I highly recommend Lara for hair and makeup services for a wedding. I hired her for my 7/8/17 wedding. I felt so beautiful and I was so happy with how my hair and makeup turned out. She and her team of 2 came to the Nashua hotel room and did hair and makeup for myself (the bride) and 9 other women (bridal party/mothers/etc). They were extremely efficient (ended ahead of schedule, even!), did touch-ups at the end, and most importantly did an amazing job. My friends and family raved about their services. My bridesmaids, mother, sister, and mother in law all looked gorgeous. I am so happy I chose Lara for my wedding. It didn't hurt that her and her two coworkers (Cheryl and Shari) were very sweet and fun to hang around with in the hotel suite. Everything went so smoothly - which is important on a stressful day like a wedding day!
Also to note: I scheduled a trial with Lara earlier in the year at the salon she works it in Manchester. It was fun and a great way to get to know her and see what look I wanted for the big day.

Lara did an absolutely beautiful job with not only my wedding hair, but also my bridesmaids. She is laid back, easy to work with, and a true professional. I thoroughly enjoyed working with Lara. She was willing to travel over 40 miles to my wedding venue to do hair and makeup for 7 people- all of whom were very pleased with her services. After my initial makeup trial, I had some feedback on my eye makeup. She was more than willing to work with my vision, and on the day of my wedding, I do not think I could have looked more beautiful. I was also very happy with my hair style. Because of the nature of my hair, I used extensions which Lara handled like a pro. Despite the torrential downpour on my outdoor wedding ceremony, my hair stayed intact the whole night. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxed, responsive, willing-to-travel stylist!

Lara was an absolute pleasure to work with from start to finish. She is super responsive over email and easy to coordinate with. Since I was planning my wedding from across the country, she kindly worked with my schedule for the times I was back visiting to do my trial appointment. The morning of the wedding went super smooth thanks to her well managed and efficient schedule she works with you to build. I had 7 bridesmaids, MOB and myself all getting hair and make-up done by 12:30pm, and Lara and her team executed flawlessly and my girls looked absolutely stunning! She took the feedback I gave her from my trial and made my vision come to life. I felt so beautiful and was obsessed with my hair (as were my guests!) and it help up through all the dancing over the course of the night. I am so thankful that I was able to book Lara and her team for my wedding day. Do yourself a favor and do the same!

Lara did a beautiful job with my makeup/hair and the makeup and hair for my mother. It was very important to me to look natural and elegant, and she really hit the nail on the head. She is great at working with little to no direction (for clueless folks like me), or if you have something very specific in mind (like my MOH, who knew exactly how she wanted her makeup and hair). Lara has experience in the photography industry, and you can really tell that she does makeup in such a way that it will look great in person AND on camera - not just one or the other. I can't recommend her highly enough.

Lara did the hair and makeup for my wedding and she was PHENOMENAL! I found her by searching online and was blown away by her reviews, which were completely accurate. I came to my bridal trial showing her a few photos that had inspired what I had in mine for the big day and she took the photos and made them reality. She was responsive, professional, flexible, and right on time. She and her assistant were so fun to work with on the day of my wedding. She truly made me feel like a princess. My makeup was flawless and my hair was perfect. She was so patient in teaching my mom and sister how to successfully remove my veil. If I did it all over again, I would be sure to use Lara again. Lara was great to work with for hair and makeup. I was unsure of exactly what I wanted, but she tried out a couple of options with me and helped me figure it out. Her colleagues were also wonderful and made all of my family and bridesmaids look beautiful.

Lara and her assistant Cheryl did such an amazing job on hair and make-up on myself, the bride, as well as my entire bridal party. From consultation to the big day Lara was there for me all the way. Answered all my questions and concerns promptly. I wanted to look and feel beautiful and "picture perfect" for my big day and she did not disappoint. My makeup and hair both came out perfect, exactly the look I was going for, and both lasted all night long!
I had a few hair and make up trials and I am so glad I went with Lara!!

Lara could not have been more perfect! My bridesmaid, my mom, and I were so pleased with our hair and makeup for my wedding. Lara and the two other women who did our hair and makeup were outstanding. I changed my original idea from my hair/makeup trial and Lara did exactly what I wanted. She went above and beyond, staying until the photographer/videographer arrived. My bridesmaids really appreciated the last minute touchups she did before the ceremony. She has a very calming personality which made the morning of my wedding that much easier. She traveled to our venue which was really helpful. Lara was always quick to respond via email and very organized creating a schedule for the hair and makeup. Again, I can't say enough how happy we were with Lara!

I cannot recommend Lara and her team enough. I was so happy with both my hair and make-up for my wedding and all of my bridesmaids looked amazing. I changed how I wanted my hair at the last moment and Lara was so accommodating and provided the look that I was hoping for. Lara and her fellow hair stylist Cheryl were so wonderful! She is so friendly and upbeat and helped to calm my nerves the day of. Her prices are so reasonable for the work that she does. You can tell that she really takes pride in her work and cares about her brides. They did hair for 11 people and two flower girls the day of my wedding and everyone looked stunning! I absolutely loved my hair. For my sister she wove in some real wildflowers and it looked amazing! My bridesmaids said out of all the weddings they’ve been in that they liked their hair the most from Lara and Cheryl. I can’t recommend her enough- she is fabulous and I would definitely work with her in the future!! Thank you Lara for making me feel so beautiful!!

Lara was absolutely amazing to work with for my wedding. As I am fairly new to the area, I had no idea where to start when it came to finding a hair and makeup artist. After finding Lara on Wedding Wire and looking at all of the pictures both here, and on her own website, her style was exactly what I had envisioned for my own wedding and I sent her an inquiry, praying that she would be available for my wedding date!! Lara got back to me right away and we set up an appointment for my hair and makeup trial. I showed her a few pictures of the hairstyles on Pinterested that I liked. I have pretty fine, straight hair that I find impossible to do anything with, so I was worried that I wouldn't be able to do any of the styles I liked. But Lara was able to make my hair look even better than the pictures I had showed her! And the makeup was absolutely beautiful- it was the natural but sophisticated, elegant look that was so perfect! Before the wedding, Lara gave me a day of schedule for all my bridesmaids and the MOB & MOG which I loved (I am a huge schedule person so someone else giving me a schedule to help organize the day was amazing!) Lara and the two other stylists she brought with her did hair for myself, six bridesmaids and my mom and my groom's mom. She traveled to the bridal suite at my reception venue, and she and her team were so much fun to hang out with as we were getting ready. I even had two bridesmaids who absolutely hate getting their hair done, and they both loved the way their hair came out! I felt absolutely stunning and flawless and couldn't have been happier with my hair and makeup on my wedding day. I truly felt like a model thanks to Lara!! I would recommend her to anyone.

I would absolutely recommend Lara as a wedding day stylist. Lara traveled to my hotel to do hair and or makeup for myself and 6 other ladies. We had a 3:30pm wedding and Lara showed up with another stylist and transformed us with plenty of time for photography before the ceremony. I don't wear a lot of makeup so I was very nervous about getting makeup done by someone other than myself but Lara made my look so elegant I would not change one thing. My hair and my bridesmaids hair looked amazing, I was so happy with the results. We took a chairlift ride to the top of a mountain for the wedding and had a reception until 9pm then went out to a bar after until about 2am and my hair and makeup still looked perfect! I would absolutely recommend Lara to any fuTure brides!

Lara did an amazing job on my wedding hair and makeup!! Lara and Joellen traveled to our venue and did hair & makeup for myself, 6 bridesmaids and my mom. They were great to work with, very organized and easy-going. I brought a few photos of what I wanted to my hair and makeup trial a few months before the wedding and Lara was able to capture it perfectly, and then recreate it for the wedding. My hair stayed put all night, and the makeup was very lightweight and also long-lasting. I would highly recommend Lara for your wedding beauty needs!

Lara does amazing work! She came to our hotel, brought a second stylist and did 7 updos and 4 makeup applications in under 4 hours. She uses HD makeup that photographs amazingly. I was able to do a hair and makeup trial, and Lara was able to take my ideas and create a gorgeous hairstyle that I was looking for the first try.

Lara is incredible!! As soon as I saw her portfolio I knew that she was who I wanted for my hair and makeup on wedding day! Lara provided hair updos for myself and four bridesmaids for my wedding. Her services were amazing! She is punctual, high skilled and professional at all times. I was very anxious about an updo for my wedding because I have never once had an updo that I liked due to the thickness and texture of my hair. However, after just the trial run I knew Lara was the right hair stylist! I was thrilled with my wedding hair and it lasted the entire night (almost 12 hours after it was finished!) My bridesmaids were equally as pleased with their updos. I would highly recommend her for anyone looking for simple, classy, lasting, and beautiful hair!

Lara was amazing!!! I have to admit I wasn't the most prepared bride and I'm very indecisive when it comes to making decisions. Lara and her crew did all hair and make up for my wedding two weeks ago. We picked her because she did our friend's wedding and we loved her work and personality. For our wedding, we had TWO brides, and TEN bridesmaids in need of beauty help, and Lara delivered. She was super accommodating, friendly, and available throughout the planning process. We both chose to go for up-dos for the trial, but later changed our minds and decided we wanted our hair down. Lara showed up on the big day and made our vision come to life. We looked SO GOOD. She really knows what she's doing. On top of that, she's just really cool. We had such a fun time hanging out with her and her team throughout the prep day. I would totally recommend her to anyone!!

Lara is an amazing stylist!!! She did hair and makeup for my wedding, as well as hair for 4 maids and 2 moms. Everyone loved the work that she and her helper did. Lara traveled to a house we rented on Lake Sunapee and did all the styling there. Her work is incredible, the curls looked soft and beautiful, not wet and crunchy!! I could only do my trial two days before the wedding, but I had absolute confidence in her ability to create a gorgeous hair style, and she knocked it out of the park. I highly recommend Lara, she is amazing!!!!

Lara did a wonderful job at my wedding and I would recommend her to anyone getting married. Not having to worry about hair and makeup on your wedding day makes getting ready fun. The ladies sat around and drank champagne watching each of the ladies get beautiful!!

Lara and one other person drove 1 hour north and did hair and make up from me, both mothers, and my 3 bridesmaids. All the women have different personalities and each one of them loved their hair and make up. Lara was so cool she even helped tousle my 13 year old nephews hair to establish the 'cool' look he wanted.

Lara was absolutely fantastic and I would use her again in a heartbeat. What I loved most about her style is that none of us looked overly made up, everyone looked completely natural! Lara and her assistant provided hair and make-up to me and six bridesmaids. They came to my house and brought all the necessary supplies. They were on time and actually finished ahead of schedule. Everyone was extremely pleased with their hair and make-up services. They were also great to have around during that stressful day - they were very laid back and easy to chat with. I had a hair/makeup trial with Lara a few months before the wedding and she was able to take my vague ideas and turn them into something perfect for the wedding. Throughout the planning process she was very responsive with emails. Overall I was extremely happy with the services and I would definitely use Lara again if I needed to have hair or makeup done for a formal event.

Lara was such a pleasure to work with. She was so pleasant and easy going, and handled my huge bridal party with a smile on her face the entire morning and afternoon.

Before my wedding, I had come in for several trials because I couldn't decide what I wanted and she was totally receptive each time and always gave me what I was asking for. The day of my wedding, she arrived early and followed the schedule that she had given me literally down to the minute.

All of my girls were so happy with how their hair came out and we all got tons of compliments on all our hair! Even my mom (who can be crazy anal) LOVED her hair! We all have different textures/lengths but Lara was able to accommodate all of us.

She was amazing! I'd recommend her to any bride!

Lara answered my plea for help less than 3 weeks before my wedding. My other stylist had fallen though, and I was stuck. Lara helped me out of a serious pickle. She set up a trial, for which I had to pay, but seeing as it was so last minute, I figured it was fair. When paying, she didnt offer change, although I asked for it, instead accepting the difference as tip. To be completely honest, that initially left a little bit of a bad taste in my mouth, but she made up for it the day of my wedding. She styled everybody that I paid for, as well as another bridesmaid thay originally opted out. She stayed later than scheduled to do this, as well as make sure we all looked perfect before we left. Thank you Lara for your patience and flexibility!

Lara's work is beautiful and professional. She tends to work with a more natural bridal look, which was exactly what I was looking for. Our hair and make-up was elegant and beautiful.

I also really appreciated her communication. She went above and beyond and I felt confident long before our wedding day that we could count on her to to arrive and finish our hair and make up with plenty of time to spare before pictures started. It's nice to have one less thing to worry about the day of your wedding!

Lara did my hair and makeup for my wedding and was absolutely amazing!! Not only is Lara talented and professional she has a great easy-going personality that makes her so easy to work with! Everything came out perfect and help up beautifully throughout the whole wedding even though it was humid and drizzling! Lara and her assistant Joellen were extremely accommodating. I contacted Lara 2 weeks before my wedding because I had an awful makeup trial with someone else. Lara was already contracted to do my hair so I contacted her in a panic and she was able to fit me in right away for a makeup trial and it went very well. She uses great products that hold up well and was extremely professional. She was able to get an assistant last minute (thank you Joellen!!) so she could accommodate the 5 added makeup applications as well as everyone's hair. I also had a bridesmaid have a "bridesmaidzilla moment" the day of as she regretted not booking and requested hair and makeup that day and Lara and Joellen made it work. Lara, thank you so so much for everything!! I will be sure to recommend her to everyone!

I booked Lara for on-site makeup for my wedding day. I did a hair and makeup trial with her. The makeup came out beautiful but the hair was a hot mess. I expressed my concerns to Lara and she did her research on how to perfect it and she had me come back for a second trial that came out perfect. The day of Lara showed up nice and early with her assistant to do my hair and makeup along with 3 bridesmaids and 2 moms. They were very efficient and did an excellent job. No ones curls fell, there was no need for emergency bobby pins because they did such a great job with the updos. Everyone's makeup was beautiful. And the value was completely unmatched. Even if I went to another salon, it would have been much pricier than having Lara come to our hotel. I would definitely recommend Lara to future brides!!

Lara did a great job on my makeup for my wedding! I had a trial run with her, which I would highly recommend. After the trial, I told her what I wanted to adjust and it came out perfectly for my big day. She was very careful and made sure to check how I liked it each step of the way. Lara did a great job with my hair and makeup (and also my sister-in-law's hair) on my wedding day! She was very nice and professional and understood exactly the look I was going for. We did a hair and makeup trial in her salon a couple months before the wedding, and then she traveled to my venue for the wedding itself so that I didn't have to worry about my hair getting messed up in the car ride or if it happened to be windy out that day, or running late if there was a lot of traffic. The wedding was actually out-of-state for her, but she didn't seem to mind and as I recall didn't charge me much at all for her travel time. She arrived at the venue even earlier than I asked her to (she was already ready and waiting when I got there), her prices were reasonable, and she was very accommodating and personable. Highly recommend!

Lara was recommended to me by my cousin who uses Lara as her hairstylist. She was awesome to work with and very professional and flexible to fit my needs. At my initial consult I brought a few pictures and described to Lara the look I was hoping to achieve. She was able to combine my ideas into a simple yet elegant up-do. She traveled to my parent's house, where my bridal party was getting ready, and brought an assistant with her to efficiently and effortlessly do 7 up-dos, 2 blow-out styles (for the Mother of the bride and Mother of the groom) and my bridal make-up in about 3 1/2 hours. I've been in a lot of weddings and am not always crazy about how my up-dos come out. Every one of my bridesmaids' hair was amazing and they were all very pleased with how their hair came out. My photographer asked who our hairstylist was because he was so impressed with how the entire bridal party looked! Lara paid particular attention to my hair and make-up, making sure that I was 100% satisfied with my look and altering anything I was unsure of prior to putting on the finishing touches for both my hair and make-up. She truly wants the best for her brides, making sure they feel beautiful and natural for their big day.

I used Lara for on-site hair and make-up for my wedding day and was absolutely thrilled with her work! I had 4 bridesmaids plus the mother of the bride and myself. I hired Lara for onsite makeup for myself, the bride, and my bridal party of 4 girls. Lara was wonderful to work with and I highly recommend her. She was very quick to respond to my initial inquiry and subsequent emails ranging from scheduling the trial, to the day-of itinerary, to brand recommendations for my lipstick for the wedding day. I planned my NH wedding from across the country, so it was helpful to have her input ahead of time. My trial was just 3 days before the wedding, and Lara was great about trying different colors and styles of makeup. She incorporated my feedback into my final wedding day look - which was THE BEST makeup I have ever had. I felt absolutely beautiful. I have had my makeup done professionally for multiple weddings and have very high standards, and Lara by far exceeded all of them. My makeup photographed beautifully. In addition, she is overall a wonderful person to work with and very professional - she showed up early for the wedding day and completed all of the make-up within our planned time frame.
I could not have asked for more. If you choose Lara to do your make-up, you will have no regrets! I high recommend her!

Lara was amazing. I had worked with her before at my friend's wedding where she did a beautiful job on hair and makeup for three of us, so when it was time for my wedding I knew she'd be my top pick! We did a trial at the salon in Manchester and she was great - for make up she did a great job covering flaws while keeping it natural-looking, too. She tried my hair down, up, and with and without the veil, and she took pictures of each so I could get opinions. On the day of my wedding Lara and her assistant were very punctual and got to work right after arrival since there were 7 of us. I felt so relaxed in such good hands, and I was so pleased with her hair and makeup work for all of us. Everyone looked great and it lasted all through the night, even though it was a hot day. She is easygoing, has a great personality, and is truly talented at what she does. I can't say enough good things about Lara - do yourself a favor and choose her for your big day, you won't regret it!

Lara did my hair and makeup for my wedding as well as my mom's. She was absolutely fabulous. I live in DC but got married in New Hampshire so she worked with me to figure out a good time for a trial and was patient as I finalized details before our wedding. I don't usually wear a lot of makeup so I was hesitant to get it done, but she did a fabulous job and made sure I felt comfortable. We blew a fuse while I was getting my hair done but she stayed calm, cool, and collected while I started to panic! I would highly recommend Lara.

We hired Lara to provide on-site hair and makeup for our wedding on 7/20/13 in York, ME. She did both hair and makeup for myself as well as for my four bridesmaids, and did an amazing job! My makeup and hair style was already determined since we had a trial in June, however Lara and her assistant were able to create beautiful looks for my bridesmaids, pretty much on the spot, since I hadn't really decided on a look before hand. Lara was on time, professional, and so sweet and accomodating. They even brought director's chairs for us to sit in and provided calming music while we got ready. My bridesmaids and I had the best time in our suite at the Stage Neck Inn, overlooking the ocean, being absolutely pampered. If you are looking for on-site hair and makeup for ANY event, Lara is the way to go!

Onsite bridal services was a must for me and choosing Lara was a great decision. I booked Lara for Bridal hair and makeup for a Sunday wedding in Portsmouth/Lee NH for myself and my bridal party. The cost for onsite services was a great value since we didn't have to waste any time getting to and from appointments. Lara will travel to your location and the travel fee is worth it for her services.

I had booked a suite at the Sheraton Portsmouth which was perfect for getting ready and enough room for everyone.

We had 5 people for hair and 3 for makeup. Lara brought an assistant for hair services and they were on time and brought everything they needed including a directors chair for makeup. They were timely and listened to what each bridesmaid requested and made suggestions to their hair design.

Everything was perfect and just as we planned. If you are getting married, booking Lara for yourself and your bridesmaids is a no-brainer.

I had Lara do hair and makeup for myself and my bridal party for my wedding on 7/27/13 and she was absolutely awesome!! We had done a hair and makeup trail back in June, and she listened to my suggestions and added her own ideas and personal touches. I loved what she had come up with, and on the wedding day she was on time, and actually got there 15 minutes before me! My hair and makeup was already determined, but she figured something out last minute for my bridal party..since I hadn't thought of what I wanted to do. I loved what she did, and I couldn't have asked for anything better. I would absolutely recommend Lara to anyone looking for these types of services.

I booked Lara for my hair and makeup, and she did hair and makeup for my MOH and one bridesmaid, and hair for my MOG. She arrived on time, had a great selection of colors, and worked tirelessly to have us all ready for the wedding! There was a little bit of confusion over her rates, but she was very understanding and flexible about resolving it. She was very friendly and I and my attendants had fun chatting with her while getting made up. My hair and makeup was perfect and extremely close to how she mocked it up at the trial session. My hair grew out a bit, so a few adjustments had to be made, and Lara made them work!

Lara was perfect! I went in for a trial on my hair and brought a picture of what I wanted my hair to look like and it was exactly that when she was done. I feel like a lot of times you bring a picture to a hair stylist and it looks nothing like what you wanted and on your wedding day you really want everything perfect; not Lara she was spot on. I also had her and her assistant do my bridesmaids hair and they were very efficient with all 7 of us while still doing an amazing job. I would recommend her to anyone! :)

Lara Keefe is amazing! I recently got married and she did my hair and make-up and all my bridesmaids and mothers make-up. My hair stylist I normally go to was not able to do it and I was a bit apprehensive about having someone I was not familiar with do my hair. At the hair trial we immediately connected and she knew exactly what I wanted after only a couple questions. She is phenomenal all the girls looked absolutely beautiful and very natural. She was extremely accommodating and personable as well. She went above and beyond and was very responsive to any questions I had. I highly recommend Lara!

Lara Keefe is fantastic! I arrived for my trial with clip in extensions and pictures of a style I wasn't sure was even possible for my hair. I walked out so happy. Lara is really laid back and easy to talk to. She is also VERY talented when it comes to hair. She travelled to our wedding location to do the hair for me, some of my bridesmaids and my now Mother in Law. She brought an assistant, Julie, to help make sure the timing went well. She was also great! They arrived bright and early and got started. There were several different lengths of hair and everyone looked fabulous. We were all done on time and there was no time crunch at all. I've never felt more beautiful than I did on my wedding day. I would highly recommend Lara to anyone!

Lara's services were amazing!She really save the day. I was in a bind for hair and make-up services since I had a destination wedding on Sunday and could not find anyone available. Not only was she willing to travel to Nantucket for my wedding, but she did hair and make-up for my entire wedding party by herself. Lara was very professional and such a pleasure to work with. She was punctual and very accommodating. My bridal party and I were running a few minutes late and she was so courteous and didn't mind waiting at all. I had worked with a prior makeup artist prior to Lara and she was very unprofessional and rude and she canceled my makeup trial via text message not even 5 minutes before she was supposed to make it. Lara did mine and my bridesmaids makeup for my wedding on May 28,2011. She drove down to our venue which was over an hour away and arrived on time and did a fabulous job on our makeup. Lara is professional and was a calming prescence in the bridal suite. She did an amazing job on all of us. We looked natural but also very glamourous in all the photos. Lara, did such a wonderful job. I felt that she really listened to what I wanted for my day. Lara was absolutely wonderful in helping make my wedding day perfect! I am someone who wears little make-up; eye liner and mascara only. She took time out of her schedule to go shopping with me to pick out a color lipstick and style of lashes that I felt comfortable with. I have been going to Lara for hair and makeup longer than I have been with my husband. She does an absolutely fabulous job and I was extremely happy with my hair and makeup for the wedding. She takes her time and is not happy until you look PERFECT. Because she used to be a photographer, she has a great eye. I would recommend her to anyone (my mother now gets her hair done with Lara!). She is the best!

Lara did a beautiful job with the hair and makeup for me and my 6 bridesmaids! She was so attentive and professional. Laura took extra care in setting up the schedule and bringing two extra stylists to get everything done well and timely. I highly recommend her to other brides!!
