Gorgeous!!!!!

The Landmark Center was the most perfect setting for our ceremony and reception. It is incredibly beautiful, the staff is organized, professional, and easy to work with, and our guests were impressed with the beauty of the building. We used courtrooms for our get ready rooms and they were perfect for elegant family photos. The turn over time from ceremony to reception was flawless while we had cocktail hour on the 2nd floor. Honestly, we barely needed any decorations because the setting is just so wonderful. It couldn't have been a more perfect venue. The value is amazing. The whole night was simply magical. We highly recommend The Landmark Center!!!!

A Dream Come True

This venue was everything we wanted and more for our wedding day! We utilized a courtroom for our event and it was so worth it. You won’t find a more affordable, historical venue that comes close to this one. The whole building is peaceful but there’s a great energy and elegance to it. Additionally, the staff are extremely helpful, professional, and responsive. I would recommend to anyone.

Fairytale Dreams!

My Husband and I chose the Landmark Center because of their wow factor the second you walk in. The 5 store views from the atrium are truly spectacular and adds in a touch of unparalleled class to your wedding day. We worked with Betsy and Hilary the onsite coordinators and they were truly amazing and unbelievably professional. -Marisa

The Landmark Center really was my dream venue - I can't imagine our wedding having been anywhere else! The building is stunning - as the little girls at my wedding kept telling me, "just like a castle!" - and needs little decorating to look absolutely incredible. Betsy was lovely to work with when creating a timeline and table plan, and Pam was great to work with for the liquor coordination. The bridal suite is stunning and works perfectly for getting ready (although the groom no longer gets a nice room to get ready in, which was disappointing to my husband). There are also just so many pretty places to take pictures - your photographers will have a field day!

I absolutely love the Landmark Center! Not only is it beautiful, but the staff is so easy to work with and very professional. Our guests complimented the venue all night. The only thing that I wish was different about the location is that parking around the area can sometimes be tricky for a large event.

Landmark Center has been quick to reply when we've had questions or concerns. The venue itself it simply beautiful and steepd in history which my fiance and I both love. We are planning a small wedding so the Chief Justice room will be a perfect spot for us and our family/friends. The Landmark center has a variety of caterers to choose from who all have great reviews on thai and other sites. The Center is the exclusive vendor for alcohol sales but they have been very flexible about beverage minimums considering our group is under 50 people. The gorgeous building coupled with lovely Rice Park across the street is a perfect place for a wedding/reception.

I loved having our wedding at the Landmark Center! The cortile is beautiful and needs minimal decoration. The brides' room and grooms' rooms are gorgeous. Betsy and the event team make wedding planning a breeze, especially in terms of set-up and tear-down.

We absolutely loved the Landmark Center! Besty and Jenny were absolutely wonderful to work with. Both returned our calls/emails right away. The venue is absolutely GORGEOUS and we got so many compliments. It doesn't require a huge amount of decorating since it is already stunning.

LOVED our reception here!

We got it for a great price, we were able to pick our own caterer, which is unheard of. They even had a beautiful room for us to get ready in. That allowed us to set up the day of, get ready in that room and have all of our hair and makeup done on site... so nice.

The Landmark Center is AMAZING! It is such a BEAUTIFUL venue and we received so many wonderful compliments on how gorgeous it was! Working with Betsy was also great. She answered ALL my questions and made it SO EASY to work with. I had almost 400 guests and with Betsy's help, I was able to fit EVERYTHING and all the tables needed. I am forever thankful and appreciative of Betsy's wonderful service.

Well.. if you've ever seen the Landmark Center or met their coordinator Betsy, you will understand my perfect review. It's a gorgeous setting for a wedding and all night our guests gave us compliments at how beautiful the venue was. I can't say enough good things about their event staff. They were professional, courteous and really respectful. The Landmark Center and their staff were one of the biggest reasons our wedding was such a success.

Everyone I worked with at the Landmark Center were very friendly and professional. Included in my room rental were all the tables, chairs, and microphones I used, as well as a stage and lighting, all of which they set up and take down for you. I spent very little on decorating, as the venue is beautiful itself. I have no regrets in my choice of venue. I also used their bar service and was very pleased. If you choose the Landmark Center, you will not be disappointed!

Betsy is phenomenal to work with! She listens to all of your ideas and finds a way to make everything happen. The Landmark Center itself is gorgeous, and the staff behind it make it even better! Highly recommend this venue!

Betsy at the Landmark Center was amazing! From the day we booked Landmark until the day of our wedding, if we ever needed a question answered or more information on something, she was always there to help! I would definitely suggest the Landmark Center for anyone's wedding. Not only is it a gorgeous space that can hold a lot of guests, you can also bring your own caterer and the staff is extremely helpful!

The Landmark was the PERFECT venue for our wedding. Their service was incredibly professional as well as flexible. We felt very well taken care of throughout the entire process. Their staff was wonderful. We worked with Betsy for our planning and she really helped us plan the day and make us feel at ease with everything. I highly recommend booking the Landmark Center for your wedding. There was plenty of space for our many guests, we were able to book our own catering, their prices were quite reasonable and it was the kind of experience you cross your fingers for.

They are amazing. Place is beautiful and so easy to work with. Did not worry much for decorations, this place on its own is just perfect. The staff is friendly, we had no problems at all and are willing to work with you in anything you need.

Loved this venue! We were originally drawn to it due to the open catering policy and the location! Betsy was an absolute joy to work with! The venue itself is so stunning! Most weddings in our family have been in hotels but I wanted something more original so we decided to have our wedding here, so happy we did! Loved our venue!

Landmark Center was absolutely amazing! Our ceremony and reception turned out perfect! Betsy and Pam were great to work with as well. The only downside is they don't accept credit cards and there are no bathrooms on the main floor. It is one of the most beautiful buildings in the twin cities. Absolutely amazing!

The landmark center was a great site for the wedding. Our contact person was very helpful and available on the day of the wedding to check on any of our last minute needs. The staff was very friendly and helpful

Best decision we made was having our wedding ceremony and reception at the Landmark Center in Saint Paul. The building itself had guests in awe of the beauty. It was so nice to have the whole building including two courtrooms - one for the girls to get ready in and one for the guys to get ready in. We didn't have to leave all day. It was really beautiful and fun. The team there was really fun and easy to work with. The one downfall is the alcohol is expensive.

The venue is unbelievable. All of our guests were impressed by the space... it's gorgeous, and it makes for great pictures. There are a few disappointments, and they're not deal-breakers by any means, but they are things you should know:
1. Currently, the landmark center is undergoing restoration on its facade. This means that there is scaffolding up everywhere. Probably not pertinent to couples booking into the future. This place fills up fast, and by the time your date is near, it will probably be done.
2. The bathrooms aren't great, and there are none on the main level. Everyone will have to go to a different floor to use the bathrooms, and they're not particularly nice. That being said, everything else is so beautiful that it's easy to overlook that.
3. You have to use their beverage service. We would have been able to provide a lot more alcohol to our guests had we been able to provide our own, but I don't think that's an option at a lot of places anyway. We were happy with the service and selection.
4. Not a lot of nearby hotels, and they're expensive. Didn't stop us, though :)

Here are the great things:
1. You can choose your own caterer. There were a lot of places where they had really high catering minimums. Not the case here. And honestly, if you're using the Landmark Center and not using Chef Jeff's catering, you're insane. His prices are super reasonable, and everyone loves him and his food.
2. It's a palace. One of our young nephews asked, "Is this where a king lives?" Yeah, it's that impressive.
3. The getting ready rooms are stunning.
4. Lots of great outdoor areas nearby for photography.

The pluses outweigh the minuses by a long shot, and if we had to do it all over again, we would use this venue again without even looking around at any others. You can't go wrong with this place.

Betsy was a doll. She was so very helpful every step of the way and was so patient and sweet. The landmark center was breathtaking of course and looked even more amazing once all of our rental decor was in there. (We used Bella Amore Events for chair covers, sashes, table runners and cupcake candelabra centerpieces) The Landmark staff was so sweet. I hear that they kept walking by and telling my Family/Friends "wow, this is the most beautiful reception we've seen in here yet!" That just shows what kind of people work there: Friendly, sociable, nice people! The security guard was so great and flexible too. Overall, everybody there was just so nice and made our wedding day so special! The Landmark is worth every penny to be able to get married in such a gorgeous and historic venue. Our pictures turned out incredible too because of the beautiful architecture. Just an awesome place to make lifelong memories in! I recommend to anyone and you will be very lucky if you get to work with Betsy! She is the best!

I have loved the Landmark Center since I first stepped foot inside for my high school senior prom. When it came time to plan for my wedding, I took my fiance into the space and he feel in love as well. Not only is it a gorgeous space, but there are lots of options for ceremony and reception setups and different rooms to rent. It's also a photographer's dream with the beautiful natural light and hidden areas for intimate photos. Betsy and her crew were flexible and patient and made everyone come together easily for us. My husband and I always visit the space when we are downtown to relive the excitement and romance of our day.

My fiancé and I had looked at A LOT of reception venues, but as soon as we walked into the Landmark Center we knew it was the one! The venue itself is absolutely stunning- the high ceilings and columns make for incredible pictures! The coordinators were helpful and accommodating. What helped us make our decision to have our wedding there is they allow you to use any caterer, however they have a list of "preferred vendors" (Chef Jeff is AMAZING). The best part? The Landmark Center is REASONABLY PRICED! We chose to have alcohol at our wedding (which you must buy from them) and the bar staff was fantastic. They even include a security guard in the price so you don't have to worry about people stealing or unwanted/rowdy guests. I would 100% recommend them for your wedding, as we could not of had a more perfect day! P.S. Book early- their schedule fills up fast!

This was a fantastic venue!! Its absolutely gorgeous and Betsy, the wedding planner, was great! She responded quickly to any questions or concerns I had. The only somewhat negative is that you have to do everything yourself - they will set up the tables in the arrangement requested, but thats about all they do. We had to have a group of 10 do our set up and there was a lot to set up! But we got it done and it was absolutely gorgeous!

We loved having our wedding at Landmark. It needed very little decoration (just centerpieces) and we loved the multi-story aspect of it. Our guests loved it, our only complaint was that our soft open cash bar ended up being quite a bit more than we expected. The staff was easy enough to work with.

I will start off by saying that Betsy is amazing. I can't imagine everything she deals with - and the way she deals with it is tremendous. She's very kind and super responsive. Landmark Center is beautiful. I was stunned with how everything came together - truly magical. Only two small set-backs: 1. During our first dance, it was raining and the roof was apparently leaking. We got sprinkled on and 2. We were supposed to have a TV set up for a slideshow. It wasn't set up, but after a quick discussion with the event person on duty they got it up and running for us.

Our overall experience at the Landmark Center was AMAZING! We had our ceremony and reception there on a Saturday in September 2015. We called to check into booking the space more than a year before the wedding and were 5th on the waitlist. Thankfully the other 4 brides backed out! The space is truly beautiful with minimal decor needed. We are still getting compliments from everyone on how beautiful it was. Also, the bridal suite are really nice and really convenient for getting ready! Betsy and Hilari are both awesome to work with! They are both very organized and you can tell they have been doing this a long time. They are also very good about responding to emails, phone calls and setting up times to meet with you. The negatives that we experienced were outweighed by the overall experience but here were some issues we had:
1. Pam, the woman in charge of beverage service for the LC is not very good with communication and seems disorganized. I also think she is a little unprofessional. When we booked we received a brochure with all the costs, including beverage service but when we booked the beverage service, Pam quoted much higher amount than what was in the initial brochure sent to us by Betsy. When I asked about it, she basically called me a liar and claimed it was impossible because they hadn't served alcohol for that price in 6-8 years. When I offered to forward her Betsy's email to me with the brochure, she scoffed and refused to acknowledge it and didn't offer any sort of compromise or remedy. She could have handled it more professionally, since they messed up. BOOK YOUR BEV. SERVICE EARLY to avoid this. Also, Pam works almost exclusively via phone and barely returns emails.
2. The alcohol is expensive, and so are the fees associated with it!
3. They charge a 3% fee for using a Credit/Debit Card.
I would still have my wedding there despite the above issues. It is a stunning venue! TIP: Be sure to add your name to the waitlist if there is one!!!

My overall experience with the Landmark Center was great! When you book your reception MAKE SURE to verify when you will be able to arrive and set up your decorations. We were told one thing when we booked the site and then were told another thing 4 weeks before the wedding. Everything ended up working out perfect and they did re-arrange the events the day of the wedding so they could honor their original agreement to me. Everybody we worked with at the Landmark Center was amazing! I would def. recommend it! I felt like a princess in my castle at my reception!

Betsy with Landmark Center was great. She was great with communication and when we went to meet with her, she always was prepared and knowledgeable. I wasn't quite as pleased with the alcohol service (they require you to go through the LC for it) because while we got a discount on our beer kegs, it felt like the amount they would give to each person was a little too small. Plus they distributed both the wine and beer in clear plastic solo cups, which my mom was not pleased with because she felt that for the prices we were paying, they could have used at least glass. Not a huge deal though. The Landmark Center is gorgeous and you really can't beat the beauty!

The buliding speaks for itself, beautiful. The things I would change are:
1. they do not take credit cards/debit cards. Cash/Check only. That can be a bummer when you have other vendors that you need to have cash for (tips, more unestablished vendors that don't have the capability to take cards) and I wanted to rack up some points on the rewards cards too..
2. No bathrooms on the 1st floor where events are held.
3. Saturday brides beware. If you book Landmark on a saturday they will continue to try and book Friday and Sunday prior and after your event driving up your linen/chair rental cost. My rentals went up 100s of dollars as the wedding got closer because the Landmark insisten on having they delivered no earlier than 9am picked up at midnight.

When we toured the Landmark Center, we knew it was the perfect place for our wedding reception. It is such a beautiful place on its own, but adding draping and uplighting really makes it spectacular. Hilari was easy to work with - she makes sure to ask all of the questions you may have forgotten about. The only bummer was the inability to setup the day before and take down the day after - everything has to be in and out on the day of your wedding.

There is no place for the caterer to warm up food so be prepared for the food to not be hot. The lady in charge of the alcohol does not seem to know what she is doing. She is very unorganized and confusing to work with. what we had asked for we did not get. We wanted free alcohol during cocktail hour but we found out when we arrived at the reception that they were actually charging people for them. The lady in charge of the floor plan and events, Betsy, was very helpful and very organized. The place is absolutely gorgeous. Acoustics are difficult with speakers set up on one end of the building, they should be set up on both ends. Bathrooms are on the second level, you need to take an elevator up for climb stairs. Alcohol is very expensive, they said that this is the only way they make money. I loved the place but I don't think I would do it again.

Wedding Crasher's galore.

I only picked this venue because my husband fell in love when we went for the tour and he saw my walking down the stairs, he was moved...don't get me wrong, the venue itself is beautiful with the high ceilings, pillars, etc....but if I could, I wouldn't have picked the venue. It's affordable but it lacks security and parking. I was initially worried about homeless people but they weren't the problem at all...it was the drunk idiots from the bars across. During our reception, we had sooooo many wedding crashers everywhere. My family and friends had to tell them to leave and caught them on the other side of the building still hanging out! Wedding crashers were upstairs, in the corner, at our dessert display, dinner buffet...My wedding coordinator even had to tell the security guard to do his job properly. He's an old overweight man who wouldn't be able to catch these drunk wedding crashers anyways. It was so obvious they weren't invited to the wedding as they were wearing street clothes and a different race. We had missing purses by the end of the night and when I emailed the Landmark the next day, they responded "so sorry to hear that, will bring it up with the security guard". I felt like our wedding wasn't intimate and private anymore and felt violated.

Parking is street parking, not very convenient for your guests. They don't allow you to set up until 11am day of the wedding, music can't be too loud, chairs are ugly, no dressing room for ladies to get dressed unless you want to pay extra. Although the venue is affordable and you could cater outside, things will start to easily pile up and cost the same amount as a venue that will already provide you with simple and basic amenities.

Woudn't recommend.
