Worry-free video
Lance was excellent! He was well prepared and had everything he needed ready to go at the church before we even arrived. At the reception he was around capturing important moments, but did an amazing job of blending into the rest of the party so it never felt intrusive or unnatural. We are so excited to see the final product when it arrives! -

No Regrets! - Get the Drone
We are so glad we hired Lance to do our wedding video. Looking back it was one of the best decisions we made! We love re-watching highlights from our special day and Lance did a fantastic job with getting every single special moment of the day into our video. My husband and I cut the smallest piece of cake and in the video you can actually hear us talking and laughing about how small of a piece we cut. A photo does not does this moment justice!! Lance is very experienced and professional. Not only will he capture all the best moments of your day, but he does so in a candid, behind the scenes manner. We also had him do drone video and it was absolutely breathtaking. He seamlessly intertwined the video from the drone with the video he captured from the ground and it couldn't have come out more perfect. His responses are always prompt and I can't say it enough he is an experienced professional. We have been married now for almost a year and I'm so happy with how everything has come out. By the way - we decided to do a video 3 months before the wedding. If you are there, it is never too late and look no further as Lance will take good care of you. -

Let me start by saying Lance was great. He was professional and had a great personality. Ours was a last minute decision to get a videographer for our sons wedding. Lance was so accommodating and helpful. He asked what we had in mind and made us feel at ease that everything would be taken care of, and it was. He blended in with the guests and captured moments that we didn't see and ones we will treasure. He gave us great shots of family and friends that aren't always captured by the photographers.
We were one of the first to have a drone video included. The aerial views were breathtaking. I am so glad we used Lance, he was wonderful and we couldn't be happier with the results.

My mother-in-law booked Lance as a last minute surprise for our wedding, and all I can say is that she made a great choice! Lance is really nice and professional, and even surprised us with a drone! I was on the fence about hiring a videographer for my wedding, but I couldn’t be happier with my decision to hire Lance. He was a pleasure to work with, professional, and captured on film the happiest day of my life. Leading up to the wedding Lance was available for questions and was quick to respond to email and messages. Throughout the entire day Lance filmed all of the moments that mattered most to me while simultaneously blending into the background of all that was happening. I was amazed by how effortlessly Lance moved around the church and reception to capture everything that he did without me ever seeming to notice. By the time my husband and I had relaxed into our honeymoon we received a highlight reel of the big day that we enjoyed over dinner and shortly after that we received the full wedding video. The quality and content of the video was incredible. If you are like me, on the fence about hiring a videographer, hop off that fence and look no further than Lance! -

If you're not sure after initial conversations, just book Lance! Lance really understands the flow of weddings and how to capture them. He captured everything and knew how to focus on family first and include friends. He honestly is an unknown presence that gets all the footage you miss and wanted to see. He got us highlights within a day or so of the wedding and the DVD is already in the mail. Lance is/was worth it and more. Lance can't be thanked enough!! -

Lance exceeded our expectations -- our wedding video is HD quality, a highlight reel was available online within days, and the full-length DVDs were delivered before we got back from our honeymoon. He used our wedding song in the background of some of the "detail" shots and I think he may have captured every one of our guests at some point in the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception footage. We did not need to give him any detailed direction - his experience is obvious. Throughout the planning process, Lance was professional, responded to e-mails and calls promptly, and was willing to negotiate based on our budget. We highly recommend his services. -

As the mother of the bride the decision to use a professional videographer for my daughter's wedding was easy. I remembered how quickly my own wedding had gone by 40 years ago and I wanted our family to have this wonderful keepsake. I found information regarding Lance Wheeler while checking out "Wedding Wire." I was immediately impressed with Lance's professional credentials. He has been a professional videographer for many years with one of our regional news stations. I was able to view highlights of other weddings that Lance filmed. This was probably the easiest wedding planning decision that we made! Our entire family is thrilled with the finished video that we received in LESS THAN one week! Lance offers packages at various price points and this was money well spent! Lance just does what he is so good at and we actually forgot that he was even there! -

Lance is easy to get ahold of, keeps in touch throughout the whole wedding process and delivers amazing results! We were looking for a videographer that wouldn't be so "intrusive" during our special day. Basically we were asking for the impossible. We wanted our wedding ceremony and reception to be videographed in a great way without the usual spotlights and several cameramen. When we looked deeper into the list of videographers, it turned out that it could be possible to have a great video of your wedding without having tons of lighting and cameras. Lance Wheeler ladies and gentlemen! Not only was Lance fun to talk to on the phone and a pleasure to work with, his videos were exactly what we wanted! His pricing is also very reasonable. Lance will certainly do a great job taping your special day. We highly recommend Lance for "non-intrusive" videography. We didn't even feel him being present! -

Our wedding in Saratoga was a mini destination wedding for us so almost all of our planning was done via email and telephone. When I first began looking for a local videographer in Saratoga I was hoping to find someone that could customize something especially for us and Lance was the first to answer our call and I'm so happy that he did. I was also very pleasantly surprised because everyone we mentioned him to knew who he was and had nothing but positive things to say all around. He is extremely flexible and professional and left me feeling excited and confident after our initial conversation. Lance is so talented and passionate about what he does and it shows through his work. Our video was ready on the date it was promised and we couldn't have been happier, he was such a pleasure to work with and I would absolutely recommend him! -

We just watched the video from our daughter's wedding video and loved it. It was perfect. It totally captured the feeling of the wedding. He really gets it. Not schmaltzy or sappy. When Lance is filming you never know he is there but he captured it all. I think he got all of our guests somewhere on the video as well. So glad we used Lance - so should you. (he is also extremely reasonable.

Lance did the most excellent job at our wedding on September 27th 2014 at Anthony’s Pier 9 in New Windsor. He captured every special moment, even the ones that my husband and I happened to miss due to the craziness of running around with pictures. I was taken back when I watched the video just because he knew exactly the right moments to put on our video. He wasn’t in anyone’s face with the camera, he is extremely professional and has such a great personality to add to that. As promised in his package, our video was waiting for us when my husband and I got back from our Honeymoon. I would definitely recommend Lance to any couple getting married. He’s one of the best, and doesn’t charge an arm and a leg for videography. Very reasonable prices for the packages he offers. We’ve already watched the DVD about 3 times, and each time we watch it, we notice something else that we didn’t see before, and it’s just awesome to see how he captured everyone having the time of their lives. Go with Lance! -

I will start by saying we are repeat customers of Lance Wheeler, which should lend some credibility to the quality of his videography services. My sister got married two years ago and used Lance to capture her wedding. We were so impressed with the video that we hired him to do the same for us. He did a phenomenal job capturing the excitement and joy of our day! From the time we had our first look to the time the last song of the evening was played, Lance was there to capture it on video. He worked seamlessly with all our vendors, especially our photographer who was from out of town. He was flexible with our schedule as there was a short gap between the ceremony and cocktail hour and was extremely accommodating.
What was most impressive though was the quality and timing of the finished product. We had an impressive 20 minute fully-produced highlight video within days after the wedding and had the final product with over 3 hours of edited and produced video of all events of the day only a week after the big day.
We would highly recommend Lance Wheeler Video to anyone considering videography services for their special event!

Lace Wheeler was fantastic! He got to our venue early and stayed later than originally planned. He got perfect footage of everyone. He was also very inconspicuous. He captured every moment of the day and we barely noticed that he was there.
Lance is very easy going and easy to work with. He was very responsive to my emails and phone calls. On the day of, he put us all at ease and helped the day run perfectly. He communicated well with all of our other vendors which allowed us to sit back and enjoy our day.
We received an email with our YouTube highlights within a matter of days and are thrilled with the results. We also received our DVD very quickly and couldn't be happier.
I am so happy we decided to have Lance video our wedding. I absolutely recommend him to anyone considering having video at their wedding--and even if you're not--you should! You won't regret it! -

I was very temped to not have a videographer - it was an easy expense to cut out. My Mom kept making me feel guilty about not getting one and I caved...best decision I made! Lance was recommended to me by my photographer. He is almost invisible during the entire day, except when he says something and makes you laugh! I got married on a Saturday, a highlight video was on youtube by Monday (which I shared on my facebook page), and my actual video was done by Tuesday - not kidding - three days later! The video and highlight video are quality - you will cry, laugh, and say "when did that happen?!".
He gave my husband a microphone during the ceremony, and it was so cute to hear us say "I love you" under our breathe or "I think you should be holding my hand right now."
Lance Wheeler works for CBS6 News in Albany so the footage is perfect. If you are on the fence about a video, remember that people aren't in your life forever - a wedding video is such a smart investment...and even smarter if you get Lance Wheeler! -

Lance shot our wedding at the Hall of Springs in Saratoga. He was so easy to work with and always was available to answer any questions prior to the event. He was great at the wedding and the final product is wonderful.

Lance Wheeler did an incredible job of filming our wedding! Our original videographer canceled on us 3 weeks to the day of our wedding and Lance truly came to our rescue. While we scrambled to make new arrangements that day, one of our friends suggested Lance Wheeler who had filmed their wedding. We contacted him through WeddingWire and he called us later that evening. The next morning he emailed us dozens of samples of his work to peruse and after briefly talking on the phone we arranged to meet with him a few days later. After meeting with him, we knew there must be a good reason why we were meant to work with him. His outright professionalism, great sense of humor and ardent passion for his work were proff enough that this was an easy decision. Our wedding day went by like a flash and we are so grateful to have a wonderful visual reminder of how wonderful it was. Lance was very unobtrusive, but still managed to capture the emotion and meaning of every special moment of the day. He even arranged to have our wedding story mentioned on the local evening news the next day after some challenges we faced with a torrential rain storm and power outage during our ceremony! By noon the next day, he had already sent us a 4 minute YouTube sampler video that we could share with family and friends and we received our full wedding videos in under a week and a half! You could not ask for a greater value and quality in capturing one of the most important events in your life. We highly recommend Lance Wheeler! -

Lance was wonderful! When we met before I booked him, I asked him if he would be around during the wedding because I would prefer to not have him be following us and making it seem like i was on video all the time. He said no way, I basically hide. I was still hesitant but I had heard good things so we booked him! Let me tell you something, I have been to weddings where all you see is the videographer. Lance was absolutely amazing in that, that was not the case!!! He captured all of the important moments without being the center of attention ;) He is so fabulous and I couldn't have gotten a better person! -

Lance Wheeler is an amazing videographer who has great attention to detail. It is very obvious that he is passionate about his job and does what he can to please the brides and grooms that he works with. We met Lance at a bridal show several months before our wedding. We weren't sure if we were going to get a videographer and the week of our wedding (literally 6 days prior), we contacted Lance and he wrote up a contract with us that day and videoed our wedding! It was one of the best decisions that we could have made. Lance got to the venue early and even stayed late. He had a clip of "highlights" in my inbox the day after the wedding and the entire video (3 copies!) within less than a week. We have already watched it several times! Lance is certainly the way to go if you are looking for a videographer for you wedding - he is kind, professional, and amazing at what he does. -

Lance is a great videographer. He stands in the background and you never know he is there, yet he captures every moment of your special day. He is extremely efficient as you will more than likely receive your DVD a week or so after your wedding. -

We asked Lance to record our ceremony, toasts, and other parts of the formal program, and we are very glad we did. He beautifully captured our special day. On the day of the wedding, he was punctual, professional, and thorough. The quality of the final product was high, and we have watched our wedding video with pleasure more than once. (Note: we went with "wedding essentials" and did not go for a heavily edited video, so we can't speak to that type of service from Lance. He recorded the full formal program, plus representative sections of other activities, like dining and dancing.) -

We are so HAPPY that we hired Lance! We feel that we received an amazing value for our budget. We love how Lance captured the details of the day and so many of our guests. We enjoyed watching the ceremony, speeches, dances and of course the band!! Lance even filmed us at the Clerk’s office obtaining the marriage certificate. It was such a fantastic idea. My husband and I both got a kick out of watching that. Lance is seriously speedy! We had some teasers and a highlight reel within days of our wedding. He finished the final DVDs and is mailing it out 4 days after the wedding. Thank you so much for allowing us to relive our day! The video will be cherished for years to come. -

Lance did a fantastic job with our wedding videography! He was personable and very flexible. My husband and I do not regret having him for our wedding- probably one of the best (and very last minute) decisions that we ever made. We would highly recommend him for any event! -

Lance really did an amazing job capturing our special day. He was personable and completely not intrusive. We were not going to have a videographer initially, as we were trying to cut costs. I can't explain how happy we are that we changed our mind and hired Lance. We are now able to share our day with my grandmother and great aunt who were not able to make it. We can't wait to show it to our future children!

Lance was great! Although all videographers are pricey, Lance definitely had the best price when we were looking around! and we got much more than what we paid for! We can re-live that day over and over, memories we will always cherish! -

I was unsure of whether or not to get a videographer for our wedding. I am so happy we did! Lance captured wonderful shots of the location pre-ceremony and added our wedding song to it. It made it truly special for us to relive.
We love looking back and seeing the things that we did not get to see during the wedding and reception that Lance captured. I will treasure this forever!
Ours was 1.5 hrs and I wish that it was longer because it was so good.

Of all the vendors that I booked for the wedding, I was especially concerned about my choice in videographer. It was really important to me that all of the critical moments were captured, but the last thing that I wanted was to be trailed by a blazing light throughout my wedding day. My final decision to work with Lance Wheeler was spot-on. We just returned from our honeymoon to find our wedding DVD waiting for us, after having already received a 15-minute clip of highlights less than 48 hours after the wedding! Lance managed to catch every little moment and expression, while still being completely unobtrusive. I can echo the reviews on his website in saying that I never would have known he were there aside from his friendly greeting and lovely presence throughout the big day. It was really special to have the opportunity to view the clip he compiled for us right before we had departed for our trip, and the final product speaks for itself. I don't think I know anyone else who actually wants to watch their wedding video over and over again!!! I would recommend him to anyone without reservation. -

Excellent full service coverage of the wedding--from bride and groom dressing, ceremony, celebration.
Nice still shots infused. Polite, unobtrusive and responsive to requests from family but took direction
nicely from the bride.
Great value for the cost -- it is easy to overlook video services and go with stills only, but, the video adds so much more to the keeping of memories. Brief clips were ready three days after wedding and full video in ten days, with multiple copies. -

Lance was great and already sent us our (20 minute) highlights video.
My only comment is that the footage is pretty raw, and his camera is HUGE. Looks like its from the 80s?

I am very happy I chose to have a video from my wedding day. Lance is a very nice guy, but unfortunately, not everything was what I had expected. He brought his Channel 6 News camera, so if you want your videography to blend in, you should ask him to leave the sign at home. He blocked the groomsman from seeing the bride walk down the aisle. He stood in front of tables while recording the toasts. I was also unimpressed with a few inappropriate comments he made to my bridesmaids. I read many reviews about how h was non-intrusive and wouldn't even know he was there. This was very different from my experience so I would recommend setting clear boundaries before your wedding day. -

Cancelled on us and hassle to get $500 deposit returned
We contracted Lance for videography for our September 28th wedding in August. On September 4th he emailed that he was actually not available because he didn’t mark his calendar properly for a personal event. He cashed our $500 deposit check on August 24th and despite several emails and calls to ask him to send us a reimbursement check, we still have not received it and it’s now September 23rd. Upon calling him once again today, he laughed and said he just put it in the mail today. Extremely unprofessional as the reimbursement should have been mailed back to us immediately after he had to cancel. -
