Lance was the perfect choice for my wedding. I was a low maintenance bride due to the fact that I'm kinda shy and do not like the attention on me. I come from a family that is very opinionated and married into an opinionated family. Lance made sure I got what I wanted in pictures, while not allowing my family to dictate the day. He was patient with me, and the fact that the day was overwhelming. He knew when I needed a break from pictures and gave me a few minutes of space. My pictures turned out amazing! Even though it was 36 degrees out that day. I was very impressed with his creativity and professionalism.

Although I was having a small wedding I was adamant about getting memorable wedding photos. I started meeting with a few
photographers and was trying to decide who to pick. After meeting with Lance Lanagan the decision was easy. When you show up in his office you'll see his amazing artwork on the wall. After talking to him I knew I would be comfortable around him because he's so open to any ideas I had. Out of all of the decisions I had to make for my wedding, choosing Lanagan Photography was the best. He is so talented and has the eye to find the perfect angle and reflection. -

Lance did a wonderful job with my wedding! He was professional and took great care in every shot he took. Prior to the event he made communication with me very seamless and clear, which was wonderful for a crazed bride. He did a great job making sure his response time to any and all of my questions was minimal. My photos turned out absolutely beautiful and if I could go back I would hire him all over again. I love my slideshow of the whole day! -

Lanagan Photography did absolutely phenomenal work as our wedding photographer! I couldn't have been happier with Lance and he was such a pleasure to work with.
Lance is very artistic, patient, and creative. The photos came out beautifully! He puts so much thought into your wedding day. For example, we changed the venue for our ceremony one week before our wedding day. Not only was Lance fine with this, he also went to the new location the day before the ceremony to scope out good places for pictures! He even went back early the morning of the wedding to clear out some branches/brush that would have been in the way for our pictures. (What dedication!)
Lance was so flexible - I was planning our wedding from out of town and he was always agreeable to finding a time to meet when I happened to be home, and even met with us the day before the wedding (despite me changing the time a few times!)
Lance is the total package. He is the utmost professional. He is kind and a pleasure to work with. He made me feel so comfortable and at ease on my wedding day. Best of all, he is a phenomenal photographer and will capture your big day perfectly.
My husband and I are so glad we used Lanagan Photography and would recommend them to anyone! -

Lance is so great to work with! Not only is he an extremely nice person but he's very professional and very good at what he does. He made sure that he knew what we wanted beforehand and he delivered. We couldn't be happier that we chose him for our wedding photographer. His fine art wedding albums are also the best quality we have ever seen; in fact, we weren't planning to purchase a wedding album from the outset but once we saw an example of what they looked like, we HAD to have one!! Lance was a great choice for us!! -

Lance had an over all knowledge for basic pictures if you want something done like a Pacific spot just let him know...he might give out cleaners rather you take them or not is up to you but he is flexible as far as what you want its your wedding -

Wonderful to work with! Easy to get in touch with to answer any questions and very helpful throughout the whole process. Creative thinker with any unique requests and very positive and energetic. Lance was very helpful throughout the entire wedding planning process. He organized the order of events and offered his advice regarding my requests. I felt like his pricing was comparable to other photographers in the area, and he also designed the entire wedding album. He is very friendly and one of my favorite vendors to work with. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a professional photographer in the Dover, De area. -

Lance is an absolutely fantastic photographer, not only is his work incredible and breath taking but he also is prompt to give you exactly what you want and never fails to deliver and doesn't treat you like a "client" but more like a friend and makes you feel comfortable. He works with you on scheduling and does everything for the best price you could find. -

I would like to share our positive experience with Lance and Darryl, his assistant, for our big day. Leading up to the big day, Lance was very organized with our appointments and we were confident that he understood our needs and style. I'm not the most organized person in the world, so we are lucky that he is so detail oriented. When it comes to contacting Lance, he is always friendly and easy to speak to, especially when you start your requests with "I'm not really sure how to describe what I want, but..." He is also very quick to respond via email.
On our big day, Lance and Darryl were strikingly professional, yet fun to have around. We chose to have bridal shots before the ceremony, to include a First Look shot. I'm grateful Lance gave us that option. I would have been an anxious wreck if I first saw my husband that day as I came down the aisle. The picture of my husband and I kissing during our First Look will always be the most important memory he created from the whole day. I don't believe any other photographer could have captured the love and emotion at that moment as well as he did. Lance created wonderful images of the ceremony and reception. His images are candid, yet flattering and well positioned. You will not be disappointed by trusting Lance for the most special day of your life. -

Lance was amazing for our wedding day, he was extremely professional and put my mind at ease when we knew there was going to be rain during our outdoor wedding. There was a Nor'Easter and he still managed to get incredible outdoor shots in between downpours! He had my photos back to me within a few weeks and we loved them. I highly recommend Lance for any event or life milestones you may want to capture. -

Lance has been a pleasure to work with since we met with him the January before our wedding. He went to our venue the day before the wedding and walked through different shots with me to make sure we got everything we wanted.
The quality of the photos he takes are amazing, any bride would be lucky to have him photograph her wedding. -

Lance and his assistant Danielle are wonderful! I've been in several weddings where photographs take forever and you have 1,500+ images to sort through. Lance takes amazing photos in a short time and he was so unobtrusive at my reception that I literally forgot he was there part of the time. I haven't even gotten all my photographs back but just the initial blog and the Wedding Show he created have literally blown me (and our family and friends) away. So glad that I chose Lance to photograph our wedding day! -

I was so lucky to have Lanagan Photography recommended to me by a friend. The search of finding a great photographer to capture one of the best days of your life can be hard. Once I met Lance and talked with him I knew he was going to do an amazing job! Lance is very professional, he is flexible and was such a great person to get to know and work with. Lance is creative and a very talented photographer. We had an engagment session done and the pictures from that day were all great. Then later Lance designed a guest book for us and had all the pictures in the book. A few days after the wedding Lance had all our wedding pictures on DVD for us to have. It was so nice to have the pictures so quickly! The pictures were all great and brought back memories of the day! Once we select the pictures that we want in our wedding album Lance will be designing that book also for us. -

I love Lanagan Photography!! Lance shot our engagement session and our wedding and I could not have picked a better photographer. He was incredible to work with. He came highly recommended by several of my friends and I can see why. He is a true professional and his photos are TOP NOTCH! I absolutely love my wedding photos! Lance was responsive and timely. I received my digital copies of the 650 photos 1.5 weeks after the wedding!! Fast turn around of such quality pictures is UNHEARD of!! I carry his business cards in my wallet now and hand them to anyone in search of a photographer!! I looked high and low for photographers in Delaware and Lanagan Photography is the BEST! Thanks Lance and his assistant Danielle for an INCREDIBLE experience, you truly made my wedding memories UNFORGETTABLE!! -

At the risk of seeming overly-enthusiastic, I really can't help but rate Lance 5 stars in all categories. His photographs were beautiful (which of course is the most important thing!) but he's also a wonderful, professional person to work with. Despite the fact that my husband and I dragged our feet on selecting pictures for over a year, he was never pressing or pushy. At the event itself, he was unobtrusive but still managed to get fabulous shots in the "journalistic, candid" style we were looking for -- the wedding was shortly before my husband's grandmother passed away, and Lance's image of her dancing is one of our favorites. You can't go wrong asking Lance to capture your cherished memories. -

Lance was incredibly professional. He spent a lot of time organizing and preparing for our wedding, reviewing what we wanted, how it would best flow and offered alternative photography sites. From his handling of paperwork to the presentation of the pictures on USB driver was class "A." I would highly recommend him. I can only imagine how professionally he would handle senior portraits, family portraits, given his professionalism for our wedding. -
