This venue is absolutely beautiful! It perfect for getting ready all day (both men & women) / ceremony / reception.
The food is so delicious!
And the staff is BEYOND! The help, the set up, the follow up, the planning, the clean up, EVERYTHING!
And Hayley Sundin(coordinator at LWR) is BY FAR the sweetest, most helpful, organized, wonderful person!
Thanks to her my wedding was exactly how I had envisioned! I could have never done it with out her!

We had our wedding on 3/9/2019 and it came out better than we expected! Krystina Williamson who is a Sr. Private Event Manager went above & beyond the day of our wedding. She made sure everything went accordingly. Thank you so much Krystina for your hard work! I could not have been more pleased with the country club & their staff.

You won't be sorry booking at Lakewood Country Club. The team is helpful, accommodating, the food is great and they will do everything possible to make your event a success. The buffet was very festively set up and attended to by our wait staff, who was there to refill, or answer any questions or concerns.

The Country Club were very flexible and accommadating to our needs. We overlooked some deadlines in our contract, but the staff was very helpful with working with us with last minute details. I highly recommend this venue! We used this venue for an anniversary dinner for our service club.

From the time I inquired about the venue, I was treated with professionalism and responsiveness was not ever a problem (while planning and during the event). Everything was as planned and staff was flexible with requests.

Pictures helped give me a visual of what the room would look like decorated. I loved the individual attention that Brooke gave me when trying to decided on décor. Brooke held my hand through this whole process and I am forever grateful for her vision and the confidence that all would be AMAZING (and it was). The flexibility to have items delivered prior to my arrival was priceless. I loved the design of the day.....it was nice that all 3 events were youth/family focused

Brooke Kelly is AMAZING!! She made everything a breeze, from planning to walking down the aisle. I love how she was there the day of wedding... we'd been back and forth for months during the planning process so we just clicked and I really wanted her there. She stayed as long as she could and was so sweet and supportive. If she's in the market for a new BFF, I'm her gal! haha, but in all seriousness, she made the experience soooo easy, amazing and memorable! Thanks Brooke, YOU ROCK!!!

The special event staff, especially Natalie Sauer, are outstanding in their support and responsiveness.

My Mother was so pleased with her 80th birthday celebration. Brooke provided us with excellent professional customer service and guidance to make the celebration a success. In addition, the young lady who provided assistance with the event itself was very polite, professional, helpful and appreciated. Natalie and Brooke were amazing, very kind, and helpful. Me and my husband loved how everything turned out and have no regrets. My caterer was prohibited from using the oven to warm the food which I didn't appreciate,but the food still came out great and that was the least concern in our illuminated, amazing atmosphere!

Everything came off with out any problems at all a very stress free event

Everything was as expected & beyond, it was perfect. The room looked beautiful, the staff is very attentive & professional. Everyone was impressed & commented on how beautiful is was & of course the food was amazing !!

I am so glad my wedding went off without a hitch! It was more beautiful than I could've imagined. All of the staff was very professional my wedding was gorgeous. Sarah and Natalie were excellent and put all my worries to rest from the start! My guests had a great time and were very impressed with the elegance of the venue. Most of my guests said that my wedding was the best wedding they've ever attended. I would highly recommend anyone having their wedding at the Lakewood Country Club. Everything was perfect!!!

We moved our weekly corporate meeting to Lakewood CC in July 2014. Natalie and Katelyn made the transition seemless for us. The service is far better than our previous venue and at a very competetive price.

I stumbled across this gem while trying to find a venue for a friends wedding and I'm so happy I did find the Lakewood Country Club. We booked our venue a year in advance and were able to make monthly payments which helped us budget our wedding but that's not all. Natalie and Katelyn and the entire staff catered to all our needs from black vodka to hot pink charger plates. They were a huge help in making our wedding as alternative yet formal as can be. I'd like to think that they were more than venue coordinators, they became our friends! I will definitely have this venue in mind for future events!!

Lakewood Country Club is a wonderful venue. I appreciated the care and attention to detail that they put into making my wedding day so special. The decorations were beautiful and the staff efficient. It was a good value and I feel very blessed to have found such a wonderful location for my big day.

I rented the Avalon Room For my husbands 50th birthday. We had 150 guest and EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT! Katelyn was wonderful, and gave good advise on how I could stay within budget and have a FABULOUS PARTY!

Natalie and Katelyn were very helpful in all my wedding needs. They always responded very quickly to all my calls as well as emails. They went above and beyond all of our needs to always help us out. For them being venue coordinators they did way more than I would have expected and helped make our day beautiful. I would definitely recommend them as well as the venue to other people.

The food was delicious. The Italian buffet was great.

Very good in organizing & planning our daughters Quinceñera. Any questions, doubts or changes we communicate with them & they replied in a timely manner. They helped us customize our own menu according to her theme. Very professional & well organized through out the event (server, staff, coordinator, security). Friendly staff, always attentive in providing any assistance. The hall itself didn't need more decorations as it was already beautiful with a very nice scene. Very clean through out. We had apx 300 guest. My daughter loved it! We would definitely recommend this place.

You want to talk about a DREAM come true. I wish I could relive this day over and over again. Our wedding was awesome, beautiful, romantic and affordable. Natalie and Katlyn were great to me, my husband and my family. I can not express to you how much I enjoyed working with them. Everyone one on staff. Even the servers, they were excellent. We had two events one week apart. Family Breakfast/rehearsal and our wedding. I am soo glad I convinced everyone this was the place!! I knew it from day one! Thank you!! Thank you!!! Thank you!!!

The polynesian buffet was excellent!!! The decor that the country club provides in the grand ball room went perfect with my theme. The staff at the country club went out of their way on anything that was asked!! Thanks LWCC!!!! If you have any questions, ask for Bernie!!

The staff were very helpful and professional. They are very attentive and very accommodating. The banquet Captain is very professional and coordinated with me everything to make sure that we get the best service possible. Dinner was served on time and compliments to the Chef, the food are great! The guests are satisfied and made all positive comments. All the staff that night did a great job.

We had our wedding reception at Lakewood Country Club in their main ballroom (we were about 60 people). Natalie was helpful and responsive during our booking and planning process, she answered all my questions fairly quickly. More importantly, the day of our wedding was beautiful! The venue was clean and beautifully set-up. The bakery they work with is awesome too, our cake was delicious. The LCC catering and wait-staff worked hard to make our event a success. There was another wedding reception at the same time as ours, but it didn't interfere with our event in the least. Neither did any lingering golfers from the afternoon.
We got to taste all the food before we chose it, which was hard because everything was SO GOOD! But it was comforting to know exactly what we were going to be serving our guests. They definitely didn't disappoint. Sometimes food served to large groups can be...gross. But everyone told us, even after our event, how good the food was.

We only held our wedding ceremony at Lakewood Country Club in October. This was one of few venues that were very flexible with timeline of events. It was important for us to not have a huge gap from the ceremony and the reception that would be held at a separate banquet hall. This coupled with their reasonable package is what sold me on Lakewood.

From the beginning, Natalie was helpful and flexible. As the date neared, Natalie reached out to finalize everything which put my mind to ease (very necessary for brides). She answered all my questions effectively. The day of, everything came out beautifully and the space we picked to hold ceremony was gorgeous.

Great service, great people, great food.

They provided everything we needed with excellent service. No hassles, and everything fit right into our budget. Natalie was great! If you are planning an event i would definitely recommended using this location.

Wonderful response time, friendly, flexible, and accommodating both prior to the event and during the event.

Please let the people whom you are working with know if you change your staff. We ended up talking to two different chefs, where the first one promised to do some things where the other was not (which we understood, since we were asking for certain details), but we were never told that the first chef had left the venue. Also, changes in event coordinators made it hard for us, since details were lost in translation, but everything ended up working out the way we planned. Last thing would be that we asked for refried beans and got whole beans for the day of the wedding. Other than those two things, service was great, the venue looked beautiful, and the staff working the event was also wonderful. The quality of service is superb.

Do all the research for the big day. Weigh all the options out from every detail. Work with vendors so they can have the same vision as you.

I decided to use Lakewood Country Club for my Rehearsal Dinner, Ceremony and Wedding.

I am not going to make this long because over all I had a good experience with Lakewood Country Club. Katelyn was my go to person and assisted me with everything!

There was a few communication errors but when I brought them to her attention they were corrected and she apologized which was what I wanted.

On the day of my wedding Katelyn made sure everything was running smoothly, my place card were set up, vendors were directed appropriately. She checked on me consistently especially because I was pregnant she kept asking if I needed anything to eat, which was amazing of her!

She ended up leaving my wedding a bit before 7pm and that is when I ran into some issue with a vendor.

After my wedding I did reach out to her and let he know I was unhappy with some Preferred Vendors this venue had recommended. .

I even forwarded her some unpleasant emails I did get from one of the vendors. She did all she could to make things right and I appreciated that very much.

One suggestion to them is if you remove anyone from your Proffered Vendor list please let your clients know via email. I ended up using a florist that had been on the vendor list when I first went to there wedding show and found out after my wedding that he had been removed due to unsatisfactory performance. Which I did receive poor service from that florist on the day of my wedding. If she would have informed me when they took this vendor off (which was many months before my wedding) I would have tried to find someone else.

Besides the minor set backs with the 2 vendors the night went by smoothly.

I would definitely recommend Lakewood Country Club to my friends and family.

Lakewood Country Club is a great venue for weddings and other events and they offer a lot within their wedding packages. They also helped connect me to other local vendors for my weddings needs including flowers, officiant, and planner and day of coordinator.

Nice facility. Good value. Good staff. Flexibility. Did a great job for set up.

I was pleased with the venue and the decorations that I selected that they were able to provide. The ladies were helpful. Servers were good. Food was tasty. It was a perfect spot to accommodate the number in my party.

Disco 70th birthday Party. It was off the chain. we did not use your vendors.

Actually used the facility for business luncheon holiday party. Atmosphere is a little old, but understand your remodeling so I think it will only improve.

You basically had one person work a group of 50 people and it just wasn't enough. She did a good job but could only do so much. The parking was a mess and didn't know it until the day of the party. No close parking and I had many people that couldn't walk far. All in all OK but room for improvement for sure.

Natalie was our 'go-to' person. With the experience she has (9 years?) I thought she would be more responsive throughout wedding process. Natalie did not go above and beyond leading up to the wedding day. She presented options, that was it. Natalie emailed me:"We will guide you along through the process. We will call you to set up the food tasting & linen preview date. At this event, you will meet our chef, our food & beverage director, and some of our serving staff." She did not contact us for the tasting, we contacted her a few times. At the tasting we only met Katelyn and Chef. For tasting day Katelyn helped us. She gave us tips and guidance, the pros and cons of options, answered a lot of questions. The worst was our table linens not confirmed until 4 days before wedding.This is a crap thing to do to a bride. I felt like I was told the same thing each time attempting to schedule appt with her to see linens, ‘The linen person doesn't have the lace you asked about so we are running to the LA Fashion District and will let you know what we find.’ All because I sent an email with 3 ideas about linen set-ups with 1 option a unique style - of which she could have said "We don't have it choose another style" -that would be ok. I felt unhappy bc she told me "we're trying" without any conclusion for some time. I received an email 4 days before the wedding with 2 pictures of the table set up w/ napkins she said were coral but looked orange-y/red in the picture, and said "sure", hoping it’d work out. Natalie coordinated a big surprise for my hubby, which was a dog ring bearer. This was important went perfect! They had an intern working at the site who asked for final payment. She charged us twice and although Natalie confirmed they reversed it,it didn’t refund until 10 days later. Overall Natalie was great in coordinating the rehearsal and day of. I wish I had more of a hands-on coordinator who was more proactive,& made sure all the bases were covered in a timely manner.

They provided great food, and they were very flexible, and seemed to try, but the end result was not good! They did not do things that I asked them to do and it was noted in the contract such as removing ugly pictures off the wall, and the set up was not as I had wished for. They were very unorganized during my ceremony as well.
