Lakeview Farms provided the wedding of my dreams! Our event coordinators were on top of everything, allowing for a seamless wedding. I was able to personalize my wedding with sufficient support, guidance & structure.

I have not one regret when it came to picking the venue! The place is beautiful and so spread out and the people are also amazing! From booking to close of wedding day, they have helped make this stress free! And the barn has A/C! Every inch of this place is perfect!

Lakeview Farms was the perfect setting for our wedding! Lacey walked us through everything and answered all of our questions during our venue search. We were so impressed with the decorations available through the venue, and loved our final look! Laurie was an amazing day of coordinator. She took care of everything for us and allowed us to focus on our special day. She organized everything to allow for a stress free day. If you are looking for a venue, look no further! Lakeview Farms was picture perfect!!

We were drawn to Lakeview for its beauty… but as venue they were helpful with every aspect of the wedding from day one. They were responsive, gave lots of suggestions & recommendations & were there every step of the way! Our wedding day coordinator, Mindy, was incredible! She went above & beyond to make our day stess-free and perfect! I highly recommend using their recommendations for vendors as well! We were happy with all vendors & they were very fairly priced!!! I could not say enough about how perfect the wedding was all thanks to Lakeview & their staff.

This was the most perfect place to have our rustic yet elegant wedding. This place brings so much excitement and beauty with providing different locations on the property for the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. Lacey, our wedding coordinator was so excellent in planning parts of the event, transitioning guests from ceremony from cocktail hour, from cocktail hour to reception. We had the most amazing experience working with her and also Deb, the owner of the venue. Highly recommend this venue!

We very highly recommend Lakeview Farms Events as a wedding venue. The setting is just perfection for photographs. We had Laurie and her team as our day-of coordinator and she made sure that every detail was taken care of and exactly the way wanted it to be, from start to finish.

I would highly recommend Lakeview Farms Events to any couple looking for a venue! From the very beginning all the staff were very helpful and supper easy to communicate with. Each couple gets a day of coordinator which makes the day go by so smoothly! Tara did an amazing job reaching out to me weeks before my wedding to make sure everything was on track and lended a hand wherever she could. My husband and I had the most beautiful wedding day because of this venue. Highly recommend!!

When we picked Lakeview Farms for our venue we had no idea how perfect they would make our day! Tara and her team were absolutely incredible and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience! The amazing team made sure our day went as smooth as possible and were so accommodating to us this entire journey. Any issues we did have were handled so quickly and were barely noticeable looking back. We received so many compliments from our guest about how beautiful the venue was and how much they enjoyed their time there. I would 100% recommend Lakeview Farms to anyone who is planning their dream wedding!

I cannot recommend this venue more! From the first moment my husband and I walked through Lakeview Farms we knew we found our venue. It is simply gorgeous! From the very beginning, the staff at Lakeview Farms had been patient and flexible. They explained all the features of the property and answered any questions that I had. I cannot thank Mindy (our day of coordinator) more for everything she did on our wedding day. We got married on the day Hurricane Ian hit the coast so the weather was changing by the minute. Mindy did everything she possibly do to make the day as stress free as possible. She was incredibly responsive and always had ideas to share. We were lucky enough to get a small window of sprinkling for our outdoor ceremony and she assured me that everything would be perfect no matter the wedding! I can’t say enough good things about Lakeview Farms and their team. If you are debating about booking here as your venue, do it! You won’t regret it. This venue was absolutely Beautiful ! My Husband and I loved everything about this Venue including everyone who works at lake view, especially our wedding coordinator Tara She was amazing, catered to our every need and made our special day 100% stress free! We 100% Recommended Lakeview Farms and ask for Tara to be your coordinator if you want your day to be as amazing as ours was!

My husband and I recently had our ceremony/reception at Lakeview Farms! It was our first and last venue we looked at and new it was the one and the special place we wanted our friends and family to join us to celebrate our special day! I can’t thank everyone enough to played a role!

From the minute we visited Lakeview Farms the first time we knew it was the perfect venue for our wedding! The property is absolutely stunning and the amount of effort the staff puts into the upkeep of it is very evident with even the smallest details. Not only is the property itself beautiful but the resources available to you are unlike any other venue we had visited. There are 2 rooms with decorations for you to use free of charge, with anything you might need from centerpieces to signs to cake/cupcake stands. It saved us SO much money to be able to almost completely decorate for our entire ceremony and reception using their things. Our day-of coordinator was Laurie and I can’t say enough good things about her. She was so organized and helpful from the start and went above and beyond to make sure every little detail was perfect. Using the plans we came up with together, she had everything set up for us on the wedding day, kept things going according to schedule throughout the day, and there was very minimal cleanup afterwards for family/friends to be stuck with which was a huge positive for us. We had a ton of guests tell us or our families that it was the most beautiful venue they’ve ever been to. If you’re looking for a venue that will not only provide you with a beautiful setting and amazing pictures, but also a stress free day where you can just focus on having fun, this is the place!!

This was the first venue we visited (before we were even engaged!) and had no intention of booking anything that weekend. Needless to say, we completely fell in love with the place and called the next day to book it. We had our wedding here in September and had the BEST day! The wedding coordinators and vendors were awesome, the property looked absolutely beautiful, and the whole day was just perfect. The price is very reasonable considering how much is included with the venue. Every part of our experience with lakeview farms was wonderful and would highly recommend it to anyone!

Lakeview Farms is such a beautiful and stunning venue everyone should have there wedding at! We loved every moment of our wedding, the people working at Lakeview Farms made sure to take extra good care of us on our special day. They were super focused on our needs and everything that was going on. We couldn't have asked for better venue to have our wedding at!!

Lakeview Farms was the most beautiful venue I have been to in my search. There was a lovely outdoor Space that was very scenic with horses and the fountain lake. They have a place for everything, ceremony, cocktail hour, reception and even a place for pre-ceremony drinks, which was great because you didn’t have to worry about setting up and tearing down the same spaces. The employees are amazing to work with, they are all so supportive and helpful and just want you to have the best day ever! This venue truly goes above and beyond for your special day! It will have your guests talking about it for months following!

Our wedding was perfect and stress free thanks to the staff at Lakeview! We could not have imagined everything going this well. The venue is even more beautiful than the photos show. 10/10 highly recommend

My husband and I had a beautiful wedding at Lakeview on 4/23/22, and received SO many compliments! There are many reasons that I was happy with our venue choice, so I’ll try to hit the main points for future brides doing research (I was you!).
Beautiful without Décor:
The owner, Deb, takes pride in the beautiful grounds and it truly shows. Beautiful hanging baskets are placed around the property. The ceremony site is breathtaking with the horses in the background. The flameless candles along the walls of the barn add the perfect ambiance when the sun goes down. Also, DO sunset pics!
Open barn:
My favorite part of this venue is what they call "Open Barn". Couples that have booked are able to show up during a specified time (I’ll let the venue disclose that information) to see how the couple that day arranged things and decorated. This allows you to see the barn several times to get ideas! This is also a great way to meet the staff and ask questions. I remember getting the "wedding factory" feel when touring other venues. At this venue, you aren’t just a number. They really want you to have a uniquely "you" best day ever. This venue is DIY-friendly… but you certainly don’t have to be DIY at all, see below.
Borrowed Room:
The borrowed room has the potential to save you A LOT of money! Essentially this venue has a collection of items that you can use for your wedding day for free! I’m talking signs, easels, centerpieces, jars, lanterns, cupcake stands, table numbers, etc. It is also organized with pictures and counts. There is really something for everyone here – all styles. This room is something that you can look through during “Open Barn”.
Flexibility:
Lakeview’s goal is for you to have your dream wedding the way that you want it. Being able to pick your own vendors is HUGE and plays a big role in your wedding budget. If you book a Saturday wedding, you have access to the property 10AM – 6PM on Friday (to include the rehearsal walk-through). This is HUGE for DIY brides. It was plenty of time to set things up stress-free. You will be assigned to a “Day-of Coordinator” and “Helper” about 2-3 weeks prior to your wedding, which are INCLUDED! I had Tara and Lacey, and they were wonderful. Quick responses to questions, very organized and experienced. Tara and Lacey were great at keeping us on track with our wedding day timeline. They aren’t afraid to take charge when needed!
Now that I told you about all of the great stuff, I want to include some things I perceived as drawbacks so you can have my true, honest opinion. But, it’s important to mention that I gave 5 stars because the pros FAR outweighed the cons. You can’t get ready on-site, or access the venue until 1PM on the wedding day. But, when you see the beautiful bridal suite, you will understand that they don’t want to risk ruining furniture with makeup, etc. At one point the barn burned down and was rebuilt, so they don’t allow any flames. Battery operated candles only, which is understandable. If it rains, the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception will all need to be inside the barn. BUT – at least there is a backup plan for rain.
Overall great experience and I would choose the same venue again!

This venue is simply gorgeous! From the very beginning, Deb took the time to explain all the features of the venue and property. Every question I had was answered promptly and always had ideas ready to help. We were hopeful to have an outdoor ceremony, but certainly can’t change the weather, so we had to make some adjustments for an indoor ceremony. Tara S. was our day-of coordinator but she certainly did way more than just day of coordinating! She made sure during our initial meeting we planned everything exactly how we wanted it. She was incredibly responsive and always had ideas to share. We were all able to work together when the weather turned to a torrential downpour and she assured me that everything would be perfect it was just that! I can’t say enough good things about Lakeview Farms and their team. We were so honored to get married at this venue!

Seriously the most beautiful venue ever!!! Everyone loved the venue and raved about how pretty it was! The owner Debbie was so wonderful! I had Mindy as my day of coordinator and she was such a help! Everything went smoothly and I couldn't have asked for a more beautiful wedding! I highly recommend getting married here 😍

We had our wedding scheduled for May 30th at Lakeview. Obviously, that could not happen due to COVID-19. They were extremely empathetic and did everything they could to help us reschedule our special day. Everyone who works there are very helpful the entire time and get back to you very quickly. We loved it and HIGHLY recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful venue.

I booked Lakeview for my ceremony and reception venue. Deb and Joanne were absolutely wonderful to work with! Anytime I emailed Deb with a question I had an answer by the next day. Joanne answered all of questions via text messaging almost instantly no matter how many times I had already asked the same question. They were both fun and easy to work with. I'd categorize Deb and Joanne as relaxed professionals. They were very helpful and knowledgeable about their venue and what items/decor work where. Lakeview also had all of the necessary things I was looking for: a bridal suite, a groom's room, indoor restrooms, a water source I could access and plenty of space. For my dessert, the Dallastown Historical Society provided waffles and ice cream and Lakeview accommodated them in the corn barn. This was a great option because the Historical Society needed their own space for their appliances and they were under cover in case it rained. Lakeview was the perfect fit for my husband and I. We thought it was a beautiful property and we couldn't have asked for more personable people to work with!

Lakeview is a hidden gem in York County especially if you are looking for a country wedding. The property is absolutely gorgeous and well maintained and the staff is friendly and responsive. They were very helpful with all the steps of planning and we couldn’t have been happier with choosing this venue!! Highly recommend them!!

This venue is so gorgeous. If the weather allows, I highly recommend using the ceremony site overlooking the pond. They have an awesome set of old doors that add a great effect to the wedding. We had a scheduling issue with the place that we wanted to have our rehearsal dinner and Lakeview was really accommodating to work something out so we could hold it there. The day of was super easy. We paid extra for a day-of coordinator and it was really helpful. We actually started the ceremony right on time, which I've heard is not very common. Everything flowed really well that day and any hiccups that were encountered were taken care of quickly.

You need to book really far in advance!

Lakeview Farms Events was perfect for our special day! My husband and I looked at only two venues for our wedding and I knew right away that this was the place. This venue books up very quickly and we were lucky enough that they had one date that worked for us! I'm not much of a planner so I love the fact that the owner allowed us to decorate Thursday evening, Friday for the majority of the day and have the event on a Saturday. She even gave us the option to clean up on Sunday. The property offered some fantastic scenery for photos! Everyone I talk to says how much they loved the venue! Deb and her team was very helpful during the wedding!

My daughters wedding was 09/28/13 at Lakeview. The property is absolutely beautiful!! Deb and her staff are very helpful and friendly.
We had 150 guests, the ceremony was in front of their beautiful home and the barn accommodated our guests with plenty of room for dancing.
We worked with Dawn on our day and she was wonderful!
The property and barn are so beautiful there really isn't need for much decorating.
Our caterer, Sir D's Catering, provided a wonderful picnic style buffet and the staff at Lakeview worked well with them to be sure that everything was just right.
The cocktail area behind the barn is perfect!! Lakeview even has their own "corn hole" boards for you to use.
Lakeview truly is different from the rest!!

I absolutely loved working with Deb! You are able to have the location for two days before wedding to decorate the barn to your needs! Very flexible and accommodating! The barn was able to fit over 250 guests and had such a beautiful scenery all around the land! We even were able to haw a tractor ride for the bridal party! The price was a great price as well!

We had an amazing wedding at Lakeview Farms last Saturday! It was everything I dreamed it would be. Lakeview Farms is not only amazingly gorgeous, it is a dream come true!!! The barn is magical and the property is very well kept and every inch provides a great backdrop for photographs.
Deb was so fun to work with and had great ideas to share. She even took the time to walk our photographer around the property to show her great spots for photographs. Talk about going the extra mile!
Lakeview Farms allowed us to have our dream wedding within our budget and allowed us the freedom to decorate as we wanted. We had plenty of time to set up and add all of the special touches we had planned. The barn accommodated all of our 150 guests and allowed plenty of space for the barn, the caterer, and the dance floor (this is so important)!
Our wedding was so beautiful and our guests are still talking about how beautiful the scenery and barn were. I feel so lucky to have found Deb and so grateful that she shared her little piece of Heaven with us to make our dream wedding a reality!

I had soaps made for my wedding favors. Everyone loved them! They fit my DIY eclectic country barn themed wedding perfectly! They not only look gorgeous and professional, but they actually smell and work great too! They leave your skin feeling amazing and are perfect for sensitive skin like mine. I wish I could have kept them all for myself! Excellent quality, and she did a great job personalizing them for us. :)

Lakeview was the only venue we looked at when booking our wedding. I knew that it was the place the first time we visited before going to look to book. When we did, there were only 2 dates left for 2015 and it was March of 2014. It is definitely THE place. It is absolutely beautiful and honestly would be amazing with no decorations. The barn doors stay closed until the time of the reception so you have that 'wow' factor. For me, it was the most important detail of the day and was worth every penny. They have staff available the entire day of the wedding which was very helpful.

We had the opportunity to have our wedding at Lakeview Farms!!! The venue is breath-takingly spectacular. There isn't even one single picture that can even capture how beautiful the venue actually is (but we have absolutely awesome pictures)!!!! Words can't describe how beautiful our ceremony and reception were!!!! We had our ceremony overlooking the pasture and lake. Our reception was held in the barn and comfortably accomodated approx 150 guests. Having the opportunity to set up thurs evening and all day friday really allowed us to add our personal details to make our day exactly what we hoped for. It is evident Deb is eager to help and accomdate her brides to make their day special. We did wish the communication was slightly better as we ended up renting items through our caterer that she had already purchased throughout the year and then had available for us to rent/use through her. However, we understand, being a new venue this was something we may have ran into. Overall, we were exceptionally pleased with our day!!!! Dawn was very sweet and super helpful. Her husband ran our tractor ride and he was cool too!!! Our guests continue to talk about how beautiful our day was!! Truely, because of Lakeview Farms, our wedding day was a fairytail I will never forget!!! Thank you

Deb was wonderful and the place is GORGEOUS. We could not hear enough good things about how beautiful the location was, and she was great! Highly recommended.

We booked the venue the day we saw it in person 2 years in advance. The owner, Deb, is great. We also had a day of coordinator, Danielle, that was equally as friendly and accommodating (seriously helped calm my nerves when rain clouds came rolling in just before the ceremony). You are allowed to set up the thursday and friday before your big day and have sunday available to tear down. I was so grateful to be able to have the access to the venue prior to let me nerves calm down. Overall, it was affordable, flexible, and beyond beautiful. Many of our guests told us that it was the most gorgeous and romantic setting for a wedding that they had ever been to. I loved that I could choose my own vendors! Catering, flowers, DJ, photographer, you name it. Deb does provide suggestions of who has worked the venue before. We rented the candles for the day in the barn which I highly recommend, and the photo booth that doubled as our guestbook is one of my favorite things I was able to take away from the day! It is $400 for 2hrs to rent the booth and $150 for all flame-less candles with holders.
The only downside was that while Deb was out of town, some of the staff, who we had never seen before, did snap at us and the wedding party the day before and day of for things we weren't aware we weren't allowed to do. I didn't expect to hear that a woman working the day of yelled at a groomsman saying that they're things would be thrown out of the groomsmen area and door would be locked behind them for smelling smoke (designated smoke area is right outside of groomsmen loft). I was also told a staff member was going through their bags. However, it's a typical group of rowdy groomsmen, so take this warning with a grain of salt - staff may have needed to do this!! I'll never know for sure. I was too focused on enjoying my wedding day!
Overall, I would highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for the perfect romantic & rustic setting for their wedding. You won't regret it!!

The staff at Lakeview Farms is amazing. Let me just say, the property and the barn are gorgeous! There are so many places for great photo shoots. This venue is totally for a DIYer, but they do already have a lot of "rustic country" decor already there. Our wedding happened inside, last minute, and it was still so beautiful. We hired Danielle as our day of coordinator which was the best decision ever. Our day was rather rainy and she was the personal golf cart chauffeur. Her and Deb were just so helpful throughout the entire process. (Thank you guys so much) I also recommend getting the photobooth add on, our guests are still talking about that!

We looked at many different venues in York County to finally find one that we loved. The venue itself is gorgeous and is beautiful for pictures and the staff that were there for the day were wonderful! I had Dawn, who was so helpful when I came by on the Saturday mornings to look at the day of wedding's decorations. The bridal suite is only to be used for getting ready, not for hair/makeup which I didn't know before a couple of weeks before my wedding-so I had to rearrange all of my plans for the day of which was very upsetting.
We booked Lakeview years in advance for a Saturday wedding. We would have loved to have the option of a Sunday wedding, but that was not available when we booked our date. Unfortunately for us there was a Sunday wedding the weekend of our wedding that we booked years in advance for, that we did not know about until I stumbled upon it on their website schedule. Every time I brought up my concerns of the Sunday wedding, the staff just blew it off. I used to say that the venue was one of my favorite parts of my wedding, but I believe they are starting to not care about the brides and the wedding day the way they used to when I originally booked my wedding. I won't be surprised if Sunday weddings become an every weekend thing for them and if they start to have Friday weddings too.
