Perfection
Lisa at Lake Placid Flower and Gift was so great to work with! She answered every question we had and accommodated our wedding date change seamlessly! We loved everything about how our flowers turned out, she kept our vision in mind and matched the style of our venue perfectly. I would recommend Lake Placid Flower to anyone getting married in the Lake Placid/Saranac Lake area. -

Incredible Florist, incredible decore!
Working with Lisa was incredible! getting married during corona wasn't easy and plans kept changing, Lisa was able to help me with all of this (even though I was planning from the NJ area). Everyone was in awe of her work and it really stole the show! She put together the most beautiful chuppa (wedding canopy) that felt like being in the garden of eden. Lisa also worked with our budget and came up with ideas on how to be cost effective and still have beautiful flower arrangements throughout the venue. I highly recommend Lake placid florist and i am so thankful to have found them for my own wedding!!! -

There is nothing like it when someone takes your visions and makes it come to life! My flowers were everything I imagined them to be along with my father's tie and mother's headpiece my bouquet took my breath away. Amazing! -

I was ecstatic about our wedding flowers!! The most amazing part of our experience with Lisa Kirby was that I didn’t even have a vision and couldn’t exactly describe what I wanted. Instead, I sent Lisa a bunch of pictures of various types of flowers and bouquets I loved (and they varied from) but Lisa’s vision captured exactly what I imagined and then some.
The centerpieces were breathtaking, stunning, and unique!! We had multiple comments on the beauty of the centerpieces, and everyone got a kick out of the fact they could eat some of it (once they figured that out). My bouquet was more than I could’ve imagined!! It was the most beautiful and perfect bouquet!! The groomsmen boutonnieres were the perfect match to the bouquets too (which was also thanks to Lisa's suggestions on the specific colors and tropical flare I wanted to add to my fall bouquet). And of course, the moms loved their corsages!

Above and beyond!
Lisa did such an amazing job not only with our flowers but with all of our decor. Not only did she make our vision a reality but she took the time to understand our style and preferences and came up with recommendations that we never could have dreamed up on our own. I could not recommend Lisa and the Lake Placid Flower and Gift team highly enough. We truly could not have done it without them. -

Lisa was amazing to work with from the very earliest planning stages. She was very flexible as my vision changed, and helped me choose bulk flowers to purchase to keep our budget in mind, and give me some flexibility to decorate once we got into the venue.
She was SO helpful, and was flexible with delivery time for the bouquets and boutonnières. Everything was GORGEOUS and held up really well. I was beyond happy!! Thank you Lisa! -

Amazing and elegant
Lisa and her team were amazing to work with. We have them the simple plan of all white with a touch of eucalyptus and they created a beautiful setting for our wedding. It was elegant without being stuffy. It was exactly what we hoped for and more. -

Fantastic Experience & Stunning Product!
Lisa and her team exceeded our wildest expectations for wedding flowers and decorations! As someone with little experience in this department, she helped me create a vision for the wedding day using her expansive knowledge and Pinterest as visual reference. She personally delivered my wedding party's bouquets, corsages, and boutonnieres to me on the day - all of which were gorgeous - before setting up the trellis and venue. -

Lisa is the best!!
Oh. My. Gosh. I am so incredibly happy with how our flowers turned out!! Lisa is the absolute best. We walked in one day while we were visiting LP and asked if she could do it. She did have other weddings that weekend but made it work. Since we were not from the area (we live about 4 hrs away) we scheduled phone calls to go over everything and I sent example photos. She absolutely nailed my vision for the bouquets!! I also found out later from our wedding coordinator that she saved our butts when our venue didn’t have the arch at the end of the aisle like we discussed and Lisa quickly provided one. I would recommend Lake Placid Flower and Gift to any bride who wants an easy experience with beautiful flowers and arrangements!! -

I can't imagine working with anyone else. I had a vague idea of what I wanted and Lisa helped me to precise and visualize the elements that I desired into the most classic, elegant, winter wedding dream that I could have possibly imagined. She also provided the rentals for my table decor and was able to provide everything in yellow gold to keep with my theme. So kind, so creative, and wonderful to work with! I give Lake Placid Flower & Gift my highest recommendation for all of your floral and decor dreams. -

Wonderful service and flowers!
Lisa and her team were simply fantastic! From the very start, I knew she was the one. She was willing to talk to me in the evening after I left work, and chatted for over an hour during our first conversation. Lisa was very helpful in guiding me to figure out what I wanted, even with only very vague "help" from me. She gave me great advice about flowers for my venues, and made excellent suggestions for repurposing flowers between the ceremony, reception and breakfast locations. Lisa and I were in constant communication leading up to and on the day of the wedding. Haley (from Lisa's team) delivered the flowers directly to me on the wedding day, and they all did a great job setting up flowers and moving them between multiple sites and ultimately bringing them to a local nursing home to donate. The flowers were beautiful, artistically put together and exactly what I never knew I wanted. Many thanks to everyone at Lake Placid Flower and Gift! -

Highly Recommend!!!!
We planned our wedding from Syracuse, NY and Lisa made the process seamless and enjoyable. I first reached out to see if she had availability for our wedding weekend. Lisa responded promptly that they could accommodate our wedding, and encouraged me to start a Pinterest board to share my vision for florals/decor. This got us off to a great start. From there, we arranged a phone call and talked through everything on my Pinterest board. I sort of had ADD when pinning things I liked, so Lisa asked a lot of questions to narrow down my style. Over the next several months we tweaked this vision several times, and she offered outstanding advice in a professional manner. Lisa was so flexible and on one phone call politely told me things felt disjointed. We redirected the entire concept and I was walking on clouds by the time we hung up. We visited Lake Placid several months before the big day to meet with some vendors. Although we didn't need to (because planning over the phone proved to be so effective with Lisa) I wanted to stop in so we could meet in person. She offered my husband a beer (major bonus points to her!) and Cooper, the cuddly cat that could be confused for a dog, kept us company while Lisa showed us some of the rentals she could offer. The day-of, delivery to our hotel went seamless, and by the time I arrived at the venue everything was done exactly the way we had talked about. This was hands down my favorite vendor to work with!!! -

My bouquet was more beautiful than I ever imagined it could be! She was able to create a spot-on bouquet based on my general descriptions and some different pictures that I shared. The boutonnieres and corsages were so gorgeous as well and perfectly fit our theme. Lisa was very willing to work with us at every step and was great at communicating. The day of the event, our flowers were placed in the ceremony venue right on time. Last but not least, Cooper (the super cuddly cat in the shop) was absolutely adorable! We would highly recommend Lake Placid Flower & Gift Shop to anyone and everyone!

Lisa is such a joy to work with - I emailed her pictures of inspiration and she was able to use them (plus our phone conversations) to come up with the most beautiful bouquets. We had a small wedding and only needed a bridal bouquet, one bridesmaid bouquet, two boutonnieres, and two flower hair pieces - yet we were still treated like we were the biggest, highest paying customers.
The service at Lake Placid Flower and Gift is top notch. After a brief misunderstanding with our hotel (the flowers were misplaced), Lisa offered to close her shop and track down our flowers for us. I was absolutely blown away by her kindness!

We communicated via email about 95% of the time and everything still turned out perfect. I walked into our meeting with a vision and Lisa exceeded my expectations more than I could have imagined. Our wedding flowers and boutonnieres for the guys were a dream come true! Lisa was also really enthusiastic about our idea of trying hops for the boutonnieres; which turned out perfect!

Sarah Sent on 12/06/2017This is one of the easiest decisions when it comes to planning your wedding! PICK Lake Placid Flower & Gift. Lisa and her team make it so easy and fun. I am not a flower person and was so overwhelmed by this process before picking up the phone. I gave Lisa a budget and she talked to me for over an hour and explained everything i would need and ways i could save. She even included a flower collar for my dog who was in the wedding. As a bride, you plan and plan and have to really trust your vendors because you don't get to see too much before the day and boy does it go fast. Lisa sent me pictures as supplies came into the shop and made sure I felt comfortable the days leading up. My bouquet was simply breathtaking and everything worked just like i had dreamed in my head.

Lisa was incredibly easy to work with and since this was a destination wedding for us, I would send links to my Pinterest board and we'd decide together on what would look and work best. Since Pinterest can be a bit deceiving on what's affordable and available during certain times of the year, Lisa worked with us during our visits to explain the different flowers within our budget and showed us different options for ceremony and reception flowers. My bouquet was exquisite and all of our flowers were show stoppers. I can't say enough good things about our experience with Lisa and her team.

She also decorated a large arbor for me at an incredible price. I was very indecisive about what I wanted for my flowers and she worked with me for over a year to come up with a final decision. I can not thank her enough for all she did for me or for hanging in there with this Bridezilla!! I had a destination wedding and I had a smaller budget for flowers but that did not seem to matter to Lisa she wanted me to have the best possible flowers for my event and she certainly accomplished that an amazing bang for my buck. I loved my large Bride bouquet so much that I couldn't part with it as I intended to leave it at the venue but instead I put it in a carry on and flew home to Florida with it, and it sits here today dryed after 2 months and I intend to keep it as long as I can.. I would highly recommend Lake Placid Flower and gifts you will not be disappointed!! Thank you Lisa from the bottom of my heart.

As a bride planning a wedding from afar, I quickly learned how important communication is when working with vendors. Lisa was responsive and willing to offer suggestions and guidance. When I ended up needing to reschedule the meeting to a holiday weekend, Lisa was incredibly flexible and was able to meet with us despite it being wedding season. With only a few pictures, Lisa completely understood what I was going for and put together a proposal that was exactly what we envisioned. She was able to suggest beautiful flowers that were in season. Lisa is also very familiar with the venues that she works with and is able to offer guidance. Lisa and her team were a pleasure to work with and went above and beyond. Her sense of humor is an added bonus during the planning process!

Shannon Sent on 10/24/2017My (now!) husband and I are so glad we chose Lake Placid Flowers to help create our wedding dream at the Whiteface Club and Resort. Lisa was so helpful and attentive in answering my MANY emails during the planning process, as we were planning long distance. She helped me choose options within our budget that would still achieve the look we wanted for our venue. Her employees were all helpful and wonderful to work with as well- I had a few conversations with Greer and she answered all of the questions I had about HER wedding and she even sent me pictures to help me envision what it all looked like at the venue on her big day. It was also a huge relief that they have done many many weddings at our venue so they knew exactly what would fit each little spot and they were very honest with what would and would not work. It turns out I might be a little type A (just a little), so my husband and I took a drive up to Lake Placid and Lisa offered her time to sit with us and go over our vision, budget, color scheme, and flower options (She even offered us beverages!). The whole experience from beginning to end was seamless and we could not have been happier with the final results of the day. My favorite part of our wedding flowers was the 12ft long garland that Lisa and team constructed for our ceremony trellis- it was BREATHTAKING! Lisa is extremely patient, easy to work with, and clearly very skilled in her trade! I highly recommend them for your wedding events!

With being miles apart in Rochester NY, they made communicating easy and stress free. The moment that they walked into my hotel room and I saw the bouquets and boutonnieres, I knew I fell in-love. They made all of my "Pinterest" dreams come true. When I walked down the aisle and when I stepped foot into my reception, I was blown away. I am still in awe of what I saw to this day. I had so many wonderful compliments of the decor and greenery. My bouquet and my maid of honors bouquet was everything I envisioned. My fathers memorial flowers were perfect. Had a great experience working with Lisa and and her team for my small wedding at the Lake Placid Lodge! From initial planning through execution, the team was flexible, communicative, and prompt. I was especially thrilled to arrive day-of to find the team setting up without additional direction and without complaint in the chilly weather. The venue alone was beautiful, but the addition of Lisa's designs brought our vision to life and the event truly became ours! -
