Highly Highly Recommend!!!

If you’re looking for an Adirondack feel to your venue this is the place for you! This venue not only offers breathtaking views of the high peak region of the Adirondacks, but also an amazing selection of food that can be tailored to any style reception. The executive chef cultivated a mouth watering buffet for our reception.
As for the bar service at our reception every guest that was in attendance had nothing but positive interactions with the bartenders. Not only did the bartenders pour strong drinks but each bartender remembered exactly what each guest was drinking that night.
The Lake Placid Club offers a wide variety of options for cocktail hour, dinner and dancing. The Club has a great indoor room with an amazing fireplace that is almost as perfect as the mountain views the Club has to offer. A separate roofed porch and a large two sided and roofed pavilion are offered which is great for dinner and dancing with a wonderful backdrop of the golf course.
Sydney, the Special Events Coordinator, was very easy to work with. She is always available by phone or email - answering any and all questions, as well as giving her professional input. She made sure that the wedding day ran as smoothly as possible. Sydney made our wedding her top priority whenever emailing or calling her.

Gorgeous venue

After viewing a few other venues in the area, nothing could compare the the view that the LPC offers. The service and level of professionalism at this venue is above par (no pun intended :) ). All of our guests were truly impressed with the entire venue. Working with Sydney was a pleasure from the beginning. Since we had a destination wedding, we communicated via e-mail and she was very prompt and thorough in her responses. Overall so happy with our whole experience!

Highly Recommend LPC!

My husband and I chose LPC for our wedding reception venue for our wedding this past August and it was absolutely spectacular! Throughout the wedding planning process, our coordinator, Sydney, was unbelievably helpful! Her communication was amazing - even on the morning of our wedding I was emailing her asking about last minute details and she emailed me back within minutes! She was extremely organized, made the wedding planning process a breeze, and truly made our visions for our day a reality! The venue itself is absolutely perfect. The view is unmatched, absolutely gorgeous. The food was delicious - our guests were raving about the passed hors d'oeuvres and entrees that we chose! The drinks at the bar were generous and delicious, and the bartenders were so friendly and fun! The staff was so helpful, professional, and efficient. The entire night went smoothly and without any issues because of their hard work! If we could do it all over again, we would choose LPC time and time again!

Perfect Experience

After scouring the internet for a venue in Lake Placid, NY that had everything I wanted for our wedding, I narrowed down to the Lake Placid Club. We booked it nearly two years in advance, and I am so happy to say that our experience was even better than I had imagined. The venue itself is gorgeous - we lucked out with a stunning autumn day - the food was good and even accommodated my extensive food allergies, and Leslie and Sydney were so, so helpful, patient, and attentive throughout the entire process. If you are looking for a wedding venue in the Adirondacks that offers gorgeous mountain views, great food, and wonderful people that make the wedding planning process and wedding itself a breeze, look no further!

Working with the Lake Placid Club team from the start was a breeze and an absolute joy. Top notch service, excellent response time, and a fantastic venue make planning a wedding from a distance so easy! If you are looking for a wedding venue (ceremony, cocktails, reception - the whole deal or even just part!), this is THE place to get married in Lake Placid. We changed things up a bit and had our ceremony inside, and our reception with dinner and dancing under the pavilion. Even though it was chilly and we had to put sides up on the pavilion and include heaters, it was magical. The pavilion is, structurally, a beautiful place to dance the night away. My husband and I will never forget this weekend, and the team at the Club and at the Crowne Plaza made such a big difference!!

We have had multiple guests tell us that this was the most beautiful wedding they have ever been to! We barely had to decorate because the venue is so beautiful it doesn't need to be embellished. But the beauty of the venue is just the beginning! The service was amazing from the very beginning of the wedding planning process to clearing off the last table! Every correspondence was professional and timely. The staff at the club the night of the wedding was friendly, warm, efficient and made our night effortless. We were checked on but never felt bothered. We had plates of food made for us and they even attended to little details like making sure my lactose intolerance pills were hidden under my napkin so I could take them with dinner! I was happy and relaxed during my wedding because of the staff and setting. I can’t thank everyone at the Lake Placid club enough! This is the place to have your dream wedding :)

The Lake Placid Club was better than I could have ever imagined. It was the perfect wedding venue for us. The views, the food, event staff, really every aspect of the wedding was amazing. Leslie and Sidney, our event coordinators, could not have been nicer, more helpful, or more attentive to anything we needed. They made the wedding so special and everything went so smoothly I cannot think of any way that it could have been better. The location is great because you get the feel of privacy in the Adirondack even though you are a short walk from main street or the hotels. Also, I don’t know if a better view exists for a wedding venue. The Adirondack Mountains view from the Lake Placid Club is breathtaking. I have been coming to Lake Placid my whole life and don’t think there is a better view from anywhere else in town. We have had many friends and family members repeatedly tell us that is was the best wedding they have ever attended and the most beautiful wedding venue they have ever seen. If you are looking for a beautiful and memorable wedding venue you could not do better than the Lake Placid Club.

Leslie Mella was professional and on top of everything she is the event director she is unbelievable deal with her everything is done to perfection the wait staff is unbelievable friendly and efficient the food was over the top delicious definitely i would recommend the crowne plaza boathouse they go over the top to make sure you are pleased , the venue was beautiful they set it up beautifully it was impressive

Leslie Mella and Sydney thank you so much for everything. We loved the venue, the great views, the great service, the delicious food, the great hospitality, the professionalism of the staff, Leslie was top notch. I cannot praise her enough for how easy she made this for me and my fiancee. My fiancee is very meticulous and he had many questions for Leslie. She answered all our questions, responded to all our concerns, and was really reliable and on top of everything. She is organized and gets us through the wedding process without a hitch. My favorite part was meeting Leslie and how wonderful she was on the day of our wedding. She was so helpful and she brought me a drink when I really needed my first one when I could finally relax after all our photos. She was so helpful when she found me hairspray. She was the best. I am so happy and fortunate that we had her helping us plan the wedding. She has a great, easygoing personality and is very easy to get along and work with. In addition, the venue is really ideal because it really brings the whole of Lake Placid and the beautiful mountainscape into the background of your wedding. There is no better backdrop to get married. I did eat all the appetizers and the Adirondack duck entree on my wedding day. I thought everything was really delicious. It was prepared with care and had lots of flavor. Very delicious food. We didn't do a menu tasting, but we were very happy with all our selections. Leslie even went through each one with us over the phone since we live far away-out of state from the venue. The reception was inside and the interior really captured the Adirondack feeling. I loved everything about my wedding day and this venue. My friends could not stop taking pictures. My only thing was people loved being outside so much that they didn't stay inside for the reception. The waiters/bartenders were wonderful as well and very courteous and professional. Everything went very smoothly. I am VERY HAPPY!

Our experience at the Lake Placid Club Golf House for our wedding and reception was exceptional. The process leading up to our big day went smoothly. Once we paid our deposit, we were given a schedule of payments that would be due along with when various documents should be submitted. Leslie and Sydney were very good about sending out reminders for these things and also very prompt at answering the multitude of questions we had for them. Since we are not from Lake Placid, they were our eyes for decoration planning and were more than willing to send descriptions and measurements so we could plan. The view from the Pavilion as a backdrop to our ceremony was STUNNING even on a cloudy, rainy, windy, day!! The dining room looked amazing when all the tables were set up and the massive fireplace and chandelier added so much to the Adirondack ambiance of the room. Leslie and her staff were incredibly efficient, helpful and attentive in guiding us and our guests through the last minute changes required due to weather. I loved that someone made up a plate of the appetizers for my husband and me since we were taking pictures and greeting our guests and might not have gotten any otherwise. Which brings us to the food…. It was AMAZING!!! Everything was cooked to perfection, presented beautifully and absolutely delicious!! The bartenders were great too! Friendly and efficient so no one had to wait long to get their glass filled. Our guests have complemented us several times since the wedding on what a fabulous place we picked. We agree. The Lake Placid Club Golf House is the perfect place for memorable wedding and reception.

What an amazing venue! They whole experience was fantastic from start to finish and it could not have been a more gorgeous location. Leslie was our main contact and she incredible as well- she was very responsive to each and every one of our MANY questions and worked with us to ensure we were getting everything we wanted. I highly recommend this venue, there wasn't a thing I would have changed.

The LPC was the perfect wedding venue for our September wedding! Leslie was our coordinator and was beyond wonderful during the planning process. The staff was very professional and the food delicious! Our day was truly perfect!

We got married this September at The Lake Placid Club and our wedding was perfect! We wanted an Adirondack wedding with gorgeous views and could not have asked for better than the LPC. Our ceremony was under the pavilion with gorgeous mountains in the background. The cocktail hour was also outside with the same amazing view. While we were taking family photos the rest of the guests were taking tons of pictures of the view. Many guests told us it was the most beautiful wedding venue they had ever been to. Also, having the ceremony and reception all at the same location made it so easy for our guests to enjoy themselves and not have to worry about find the next location. Our reception was indoors but with the windows overlooking the golf course you never lost the view of the high peaks.
Our coordinator Leslie was just as fantastic as the venue. Any and every question we asked she helped us with. She was always so quick with her responses. The day of the wedding Leslie did such amazing job that I didn’t have to worry about anything. She took the stress away from the day which just left us to sit back and enjoy our day.
The Lake Placid Club was everything that we wanted and made our wedding perfect!

We hosted a welcome party for out of town guests at the Boat House at the Lake Placid Club for our wedding weekend. It was truly incredible. The staff (shout out to Amy and Leslie) was amazing - attentive, friendly, professional, and responsive. They helped us throw an incredible party on short notice. Our guests were blown away with how beautiful the Boat House was - cozy and elegant. We loved the views of Mirror Lake. The food and drinks were delicious and the service was amazing. We would recommend anyone to use this venue and the dream team that comes with it!

We got married at the Lake Placid Club in July and it was everything we hoped for and more. Leslie was fantastic to work with during the planning process. She was extremely responsive and incredibly patient with all of the questions we had since we did not have a wedding planner. The venue itself was exactly what we were looking for - VIEWS, outdoor ceremony, no white tent required, easy backup plan for inclement weather, day-of coordinator & catering. LPC was the first venue we looked at in Lake Placid and we immediately knew it was the place for us.

Our late august wedding at the Lake Placid Club was PERFECT. The venue itself is stunning-- guests couldn't help but get up all evening to snap photos of the sunset over the mountains.
The food was amazing (go for the Halibut!), and the staff was incredibly accommodating and sensitive to food allergies.

Finally, working with Leslie was an absolute pleasure. she made the entire planning process fun and easy. Leslie and her team were incredibly communicative, creative, flexible, thoughtful and efficient and the whole evening went off without a hitch. She turned all of my requests and ideas into reality and was incredible patient and supportive in the process.

Look no further than the LPC if you're hoping to plan a Lake Placid wedding-- they're the best!

The Lake Placid Golf Club was the perfect venue for our daughter's Lake Placid wedding. The indoor dining facility, accented with the stone fireplace was lovely. The patio was perfect for appetizers and for dancing. It enabled our guests to watch the mountains change colors as night fell. Our guests will never forget the beauty of the Adirondack view. The food was deliciously prepared and accommodating to all special needs. The service was flawless. The event planner, Catherine led us to our vendors every step of the way (invitations, D.J., transportation, cake, photographer with excellent suggestions from her list. We highly recommend the Lake Placid Club for a beautiful memory to last a lifetime.

We had our wedding at the Lake Placid Club over Labor Day weekend, and it was the most flawless wedding I could have dreamed of. From the initial email I sent to Catherine a year before, up until the day of the wedding, everything was perfectly executed. Catherine kept me on track, as I was planning remotely and had only visited the venue once, answering all of my emails promptly and being patient when I needed extra time to make decisions. She was so accommodating, offered so many great ideas, and tips making my vison come to life. Both the ceremony and reception were beyond exceptional. I think almost all 200 of our guests came up to us saying it was one of the best weddings they have ever attended. Leslie, and the rest of the team made it so we didn’t have to worry about a single thing on the day of the wedding. The venue has the most breathtaking view of Lake Placid you can find. If we could do it all over again, I wouldn’t change a thing. If you are considering having a wedding in Lake Placid, this should be your first choice. Thank you over and over!!

From the view, to the professionalism, and the food, LPC was indeed top notch! We've heard from our guests (the majority of whom traveled to LP for the first time) how fantastic everything was (many said it was the best wedding they've ever attended) over and over again. My husband and I couldn't be happier with LPC. Leslie, our coordinator, was more than we ever expected. She was attentive, polite, responsive, proactive, and genuine. We absolutely loved working with her. Thank you so much Leslie! If you're looking for a venue with a view and options to be outside, LPC is the place for you.

Our wedding at the Lake Placid Club was absolutely perfect! Catherine Thompson is so helpful, professional, and reliable and she made the process very easy. The venue is stunning (even more so than in pictures), the food was wonderful and multiple guests commented as such, and the service was everything I could have hoped for. If I could do it all over again I would, without a doubt, pick the same venue again. Nothing else compares! We were really looking for a fairly small, but awesome wedding on a fairly tight budget and we were able to get all of that with the most breathtaking views to boot!!! It was a perfect night and our guests did not stop telling us how amazing it was!

I cannot say enough good things about the Lake Placid Club Golf House. When my now husband and I started talking about where we wanted to have our wedding, we immediately thought somewhere in the Adirondacks..we wanted to be surrounded by nature and the mountains, which is exactly what we found with the LP golf club. From the second we stepped foot in the club house, we knew it was the one! There are some gorgeous venues in Lake Placid, but none come close to the views you get from the golf house. We booked this site almost 2 years out from our wedding date, so I worked with Amy for a long time! She was an absolute pleasure to work with, always got back to my emails in a timely fashion, and was always there to answer any questions I had (living 3 hours from Lake Placid..I had a ton!). She made the whole planning process simple, recommended some great vendors, and always gave her input on ideas I had. The day of the wedding went smoothly, and there was someone there the entire night to make sure everything was on schedule and to our liking. Everything we chose for our menu was delicious. We have received so many compliments on both the food, and the venue itself. Several people have said it was the most beautiful wedding they have ever been to! Our wedding day was perfect, which was in part due to the excellent service we received from the LP golf house. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone looking to have a picture perfect Adirondack wedding!

The venue was amazing, the views were spectacular. I had approximately 170 guests and everybody came up to me saying that this was one of the best weddings that they had ever been to, everything went off without a hitch

The Boat House restaurant on Mirror Lake provided the absolute perfect venue that made our wedding day so special. The staff were very professional and never disappointed us. The food was as amazing as the view. Catherine Tompson made the planning portion semeless and we couldn't have been more satisfied!

This is my absolute favorite venue. The views are gorgeous....breathtaking! Catherine, the event coordinator, is amazing. She is incredibly responsive and will do whatever she can to take care of what you need. I live in Virginia so I wasn't able to run to Lake Placid every weekend to plan my weekend. Catherine was so awesome and answered every email in a timely manner. The club house staff made the food displays look amazing. And the food was incredible! We received so many compliments on the food! My guests couldn't believe how beautiful the venue was. My husband and I loved playing 18 holes on the golf house the day after our wedding as well!

We thought everything was beautiful for weekend of our wedding and we had a lot of compliments from our guests, who had a great time. Catherine was fantastic throughout the entire process. She was very patient answering all of our questions; very prompt with responses; well-organized; and professional. The venue itself is beautiful with breathtaking views. Unfortunately it rained the day of our wedding, but due to the setup we were still able to have the ceremony under the pavilion as desired. For the reception when the temporary walls were up with the heaters it was nice and warm inside. The staff handled the weather really well. The wait staff and bartenders were very efficient and attentive without being intrusive. Justin was very well-organized and communicated well with us the entire evening and made the transitions between the settings very smooth. We will definitely recommend this venue to future couples looking to get married in the Lake Placid area.

My wedding day could not have been more perfect and I know a lot of that has to do with how great of a location this venue is and how wonderful the staff is. Catherine, the wedding coordinator at the Golf House was truly a pleasure to work with. She responded quickly to my questions, offered a lot ton of great advice, and was so friendly every single time we had an interaction. I am so grateful I was able to have my wedding here..everything was perfect!

We had our Adirondack wedding and reception at the Lake Placid Club Golf House. I am a very A++ personality and thought if I didn't have all the details covered then no one else would....Catherine and her staff was amazing and our day was more than I could have ever imagined or planned. So many small touches that made our day amazing. The food was wonderful and the catering staff was able to take my gluten-intolerance into account. Our guests were amazed by the details and thanked us over and over for allowing them to be part of this amazing day!!!!!!!!

I couldn't be happier with the Lake Placid Club Golf House. Catherine answered all our questions and made planning a destination wedding a breeze. Our wedding turned out perfect and we are so thankful we choose to have our day at the Golf House. We received so many comments about the attentiveness of the staff, quality of food, and beautiful view the Golf House overlooks.

We were weighing a few venue choices but once we met with Catherine and her staff, we knew this was the place for us. Catherine was not only professional and knowledgable about our vendor options and event possibilities, she was also creative and flexible when organizing the touches that truly made the whole day unique for us.

The venue itself is spectacular, the food elegant and delicious - and the rest of the staff attentive and gracious. Catherine took it upon herself to set up a wedding gift that arrived without our knowledge and even labeled everything using the small chalkboards we brought.

The entire planning process right down to our wedding day was fun and as stress free as possible. I'd highly recommend holding any event possible at the Lake Placid Club Golf House and use the pavilion too!

I highly recommend Lake Placid Golf Club as a wedding venue. The views and the atmosphere on the day of my wedding were truly spectacular. More importantly though their event planner, Catherine, was great to work with. She was very organized, promptly responded to all my questions, and went out of her way to put together a package that would work for us.

We could not have asked for a more beautiful and meaningful venue for our wedding than the Lake Placid Club Golf House. This spot was special for us as it was the first place we had our first date. We wanted to capture the beauty of where we live in the Adirondacks, as well choose a venue that would provide the utmost professional and personalized service for not only ourselves but our guests. As cliche as it sounds, friends and family are still talking about the experience they had ...from the magestic scenery to the attentive staff and all the attention to details. Catherine Zawadzki, the Event Coordinator, was beyond personable and professional. She was in constant communication with us, offered helpful suggestions, attended to every concern or question, and was the reason our wedding was as beautiful and flawless as it was. Her team as well was an absolute joy to share our day with. There are not enough words to describe how beyond pleased and blessed we were to have had our wedding here. We are already talking about celebrating an anniversary with another big party at the wonderful Lake Placid Golf Club House!

Words cannot describe how perfect this venue was for our wedding day. I fell in love with this venue when we first walked in for our first tour, it has that "wow" factor every bride wishes to have! The venue is perfect for any type of wedding, and the staff caters to your every need. Leslie our wedding coordinator is so responsive to my endless questions and emails, and made every detail perfect come the big day. My guests loved the food, entertainment and everyone was in love with the views of LP mountains. It really is the perfect spot to bring family and friends together for the weekend and spend site seeing and enjoying all of the Adirondacks scenery.
Thank you Lake Placid Club for making our special day one we will remember forever. We cant wait to spend our anniversaries in Lake Placid!

You cannot find a better venue for the price! We also looked at other Lake Placid venues and this was the the most affordable and had THE BEST views. You literally cannot get any better. We got so many compliments all night about the views - had perfect weather (got married 6/8/19). And the food was awesome too!! It really was the best day ever. Everything went so smoothly and we didn’t worry about a thing all night.

My husband and I held our reception at the Lake Placid Club Golf House in early August, and would do it all over again! We planned the wedding from 5+ hours away, and working with Leslie was great - she's always quick to respond and offer great advice or recommendations for local vendors and services.

I was looking for a rustic but elegant look for the venue, and got exactly that - our guests could not get enough of the mountain views from the porch and the warm, woodsy Adirondack feel of the Golf House. Like other brides, I was a little weary of being unable to do a food tasting, but I didn't need to worry....everything was delicious and plated perfectly, definitely a notch above what most food is like at weddings...The staff was professional, courteous, and warm the entire time. We also had our rehearsal dinner at the Lake Placid Boat House, which I also highly recommend. The private room downstairs put our guests right on the lake and we had access to a private porch. The food was also great, and the staff just as professional.

My husband tells me that everyone thinks their own wedding "is the best wedding ever" but our guests said so too! We got countless compliments on the food, the views, and the atmosphere of the Lake Placid Club. I couldn't recommend them enough!

Lovely location that my guests are still talking about! The porch area was perfect for the views and the dancing, everything ran extremely smoothly, and the food was a hit. Would highly recommend.

We had a wonderful wedding reception here. It was the perfect indoor/outdoor venue that highlighted what we love about Lake Placid - beautiful scenery, Olympic venues in view, friendly people, and more. Amy was amazing throughout the planning process and certainly delivered day of. She worked closely with us to make sure we had everything we wanted from timing to specific alcohol to the set up. The result was a magical wedding that WE not only enjoyed but our guests did too. Our only hesitation with the venue was that we were not able to do a tasting for the food. BUT we were beyond pleasantly surprised! The food was fantastic and our guests raved about it! Most of all, this space truly does allow you to enjoy the scenery and outdoors while giving you protection from the elements and an elegant feeling of an intimate event.

We had a wonderful wedding at the Lake Placid Golf House! Not only does the location have a beautiful view of the High Peaks, but the grounds and club house are beautiful as well. The staff was very professional and detail oriented, our evening ran smoothly, and the staff even added extra ambiance to the club house by lighting the fireplace for our dinner. We are so happy with our choice of the LPGH, and would recommend the location to anyone who is looking for a place with a beautiful view, an elegant adirondack vibe, and friendly and professional staff.

My fiance and I have yet to experience our wedding day at the Lake Placid Club because we won't be getting married until August 2017, however I wanted to write a review on how well the venue has accommodated our needs. I originally planned on getting married July 2017 and had put my deposit down on a date, but that all changed when I found out that my father was being deployed over seas and wasn't going to be able to make it to the wedding. This was devastating for a number of reasons; I was concerned that I wouldn't be able to move my date; I was afraid of losing my $2,500 deposit; and the most obvious reason being that my father wouldn't be able to walk me down the aisle. The stress of the situation was quickly alleviated once we corresponded with the venue. The Lake Placid Club was generous enough to allow us to move our date and carry over the deposit. I cannot express enough how thankful I am for their accommodation. I couldn't imagine my big day without my father by my side and I am looking very forward to getting married at this beautiful venue next year!

We had our ceremony and reception at the Golf House and it was wonderful! They were great to work with through the planning process and we were able to do almost everything through email and phone calls. Their coordinators are so prompt and responsive that you never feel like they have a wedding every weekend. The scenery, the food, and the atmosphere were exactly what we wanted and the actual wedding day was more than we could have imagined!

It was a happy day

I have to give a lot of credit towards the patience and professionalism of the staff, in particular Sydney! She made everything beautiful and she knew just what to do. I highly recommend!

We had the best time of our lives. Our guests complimented numerous times how beautiful the scenery and veue was, and that they loved Lake Placid. We had a picture perfect day with weather, and literally our pictures are beautiful. The serevice was outstanding, and Catherine was a wonderful help with making sure things went perfectly.

The venue is gorgeous and the staff was wonderful. Catherine was a pleasure to work with and made sure everything went smoothly the night of my wedding. She was also great in helping me to plan my wedding in only 4 months and went above and beyond to help me find vendors since most were already booked up! The food at the venue was fantastic and many of my guests went out of their way to tell me this.

Excellent location with the most fabulous meals. The Lake Placid Club is owned by the Crowne Plaza Resort in Lake Placid and they did a wonderful job not only coordinating the event but providing the best of food. Needless to say, our day was perfect and if there was a "snag" it was unknown to us. This location is one of a kind and people are still raving about the food!

Overall we had a wonderful experience. Catherine was a great help to our family. The venue is remarkable and the staff on top of all the details. I found that their protocols were somewhat rigid compared to other wedding venues. I attribute this to the fact that L.P. is a treasured venue.
