Wedding Dreams Made
We loved Lake Oak Meadows! Its an absolutely gorgeous venue. The reason why I did not go huge on buying flowers or decorations because it speaks for itself. It is nicely spaced out where you can see all of the festivities going on without feeling like you are crowded or on top of each other. It has different areas for anyone in your wedding such as sitting by the bonfire pits, the camera booth, the separate dance floor, walking by the lake, sitting by the eating area. We can not speak more highly of this venue. Frank, the owner, worked with us ALOT to make our dreams come true with our budget. Nikki, our coordinator, was fantastic and so prepared. She was on it from the moment my dress wouldn't bussel, to getting everyone organized, to make the schedule changes we needed to fit in all the activities we wanted. -

Beautiful Day Come True
We had the most incredible wedding at LOM and truly can’t recommend this venue enough. From the moment we arrived, the scenery took our breath away—it’s the kind of place that instantly impresses guests and creates a magical backdrop for your day. Throughout the planning process, Izzy was super responsive and helpful, always quick to answer our questions via email or phone. On the day of the wedding, Lisa, our coordinator, was a godsend. She kept everything running smoothly and right on time—we honestly couldn’t have done it without her. The dinner and appetizers were delicious, and many of our guests complimented the food. We used several of LOM’s recommended vendors and were really happy with them. For photography, we chose an outside vendor, and that also worked out wonderfully. DJ Mike was a standout—once he stepped in during the reception, he kept the energy up, the timeline on track, and made sure everything transitioned flawlessly after Lisa left. Another big plus: LOM provided cart transportation, which was a huge help for our guests who needed extra mobility. The property is large, stunning, and well-equipped to handle large weddings with plenty of flexibility to bring your vision to life. We feel so lucky to have celebrated at LOM. It truly exceeded our expectations.Lake Oak Meadows Weddings and Events's reply:
Thank you so much for your kind words! It was such a joy to be part of your special day. We're honored you chose us to celebrate such a meaningful moment in your life, and we wish you a lifetime of love and happiness! -

Best Day Ever!
It was the most amazing wedding, and I’m not just saying that because it is mine! I’m so grateful we didn’t have any hiccups thanks to our day of coordinator, Lisa. I highly recommended this gorgeous venue as it is the perfect combo of all inclusive style planning while still being able to add personal touches and detail (& I did a lot of things non ‘traditional’). I was planning from abroad so the planning process was just as important as the big day. Not only did everything turn out perfectly but honestly even better than I had envisioned.

Dream Come True
It was truly an incredible wedding venue and experience. The entire process was wonderful. The staff is professional, transparent, and extremely friendly and kind. The venue itself is a dream. It is so gorgeous, and in the evening with all the lights on, and the lake/fountain and fire, it turned truly magical.
Izzy and the staff were so attentive and helpful and transparent,
Kim Lozano our wedding coordinator was invaluable- words can't describe how incredible she was. We had weekly calls closer to the wedding keeping us on track, giving us our to do list and help come up with ideas for the wedding. Day of she was organized, and made out dream wedding come true. She is honest, kind, professional and I feel so very lucky to have Kim coordinator our wedding
Creative Corner florist was unbelievable- the flowers provided were beyond what I could have dreamed. The flowers were so BEAUTIFUL. She worked with our budget, her communication and availability was outstanding, I recommend this florist in every possible way.
1914 Bakery was delicious- creative, good communication and outstanding.
DJ Pat was incredible. Professional, kind, excellent suggestions, listened to our likes and dislikes, and played music that was exactly our taste. He was wonderful
The food was outstanding and delicious. We chose snapper with lemon grass, tri tip with chimichurri and the proteins was excellent. Guests complimented our appetizers and we had some saved for us while we were taking photographs.
Everything was laid out in the contract so you understand going into the venue. It is very clear and transparent. Any questions about the contract we always answered immediately and made very clear.
We had an absolute incredible experience. We highly recommend this venue to everyone and our experience was outstanding.

The Isham wedding
The venue was absolutely beautiful the day of the wedding. The staff was very flexible and attentive to ensure our decor and seating chart wouldn’t get ruined in the rain. They said to select a person to help set everything up but the day of the staff ended up setting everything up which was nice so my sisters got to have more time to get ready. All the staff were very nice and helpful during the whole process. Early September is not a suggested time to get married as ours was the first weekend and it was 104 degrees outside and raining. ☔️ -

Our recent wedding
We toured many wedding venues around the Temecula area and LOM was by far the best one! Unlike most outdoor winery venues where there are lots of foot traffic from people visiting the winery, LOM is its own venue separated from the winery, so it’s more intimate and well maintained. We are more than happy and grateful that we picked them as our wedding venue. If you are looking for a beautiful outdoor winery venue with plenty of flowers/trees and greenery for that garden ethereal wedding, then LOM is for you! Not only was the venue absolutely stunning in the summer time as we had a June wedding, but the staff we worked with are amazing! Izzy is the main go to person, and she was always very quick at responding via email and answered all my questions throughout the year of wedding planning. Kim was our day of coordinator, and I couldn’t ask for a better coordinator. She was so organized and went over every detail of the wedding multiple times so that we could just have fun and enjoy the day of the wedding without having to worry about anything. She contacted all the vendors in advance and worked with them on the day of to make sure everything went smoothly on the day of our wedding. Both Lizzy and Kim are amazing to work and made planning our wedding stress free. Also, LOM is an all inclusive venue, so it was easy to work with their catering, baker, etc. Overall, we had such a wonderful experience at LOM and would recommend it to all of our friends and family wanting a wedding in the Temecula area.

Our June 2024 Wedding
Our wedding in June 2024 was absolutely amazing. We toured so many wedding venues in the Temecula Valley and Lake Oak Meadows stood out to us right away. Right when we walked down the stairs into the venue we knew it was going to be the one. The staff were so kind and amazing all around. From planning the wedding to the day of it was stress free. Lake Oak Meadows staff and vendors were extremely kind and attentive to our needs. They answered all our questions in a very timely manner and truly cared about our special day with every little detail. The venue is extremely clean and very well taken care of. Our guests couldn’t stop commenting on how amazing the venue was. A couple months before the wedding they had an event where couples who had booked a wedding date with them could show up and try out food and drinks and also talk to vendors and their wedding coordinators. It was a great experience to see how your perfect wedding day would be and also a great chance to ask any questions or bring up any concerns during your wedding planning. We never felt rushed during our planning process. The greatest part about Lake Oak Meadows is that almost everything is Customizable to suit your special day! -

Amazing Venue
We absolutely loved our wedding at Lake Oak Meadows. The venue is perfect. Our ceremony turned out amazing and looks wonderful in all of our pictures. This truly is a picture perfect place to get married. Our coordinator was so helpful leading up to the ceremony and making sure things went smoothly. We loved having a bridal suite just feet away from our venue and reception. Great for pictures and getting ready for the wedding. We enjoyed the reception and the food. We paid for the top premium package and were expecting to have the best staff Lake Oak had to offer, and up until a week before the wedding we felt that’s what we were getting. Just days before our wedding, our officiant switched on us and so did our DJ. The officiant did his job well, just not what we were expecting. Our DJ was the only downfall of our experience. We went through lake oak package and we were in contact with DJ mike for months leading up to the wedding. The week of we were told he is not working our wedding and assigned someone else to do it. He was not attentive or friendly with our guests. Did not take the Lead as an MC/Coordinator for the reception. Did not follow our timeline correctly and mispronounced our wedding party. Just did not seem like we were getting the quality of service we were paying for. It truly was a damper on our experience and unfortunately took us out of enjoying our reception with guests because we were stressed running around trying to get our guests organized for events, dancing, and send off. We took our issues to Administration/accounting and they were unaware that our officiants were switched or who our DJ was even supposed to be. Our experience was still amazing and we love Lake Oak Meadows, we just wouldn’t want anyone to have the same issues we did when paying that amount of money for their wedding. -

The most magical day!
Looking at venues can be overwhelming, especially because of the mixed experiences people can share. My experience was amazing! Something about Lake Oak Meadows grabbed my attention, and I scheduled a tour that was the one I was most excited for. During our tour, my heart knew this is where we were meant to get married, and so we did. My experience with LOM was nothing short of incredible. Truly, every detail was considered with this venue… many breathtaking photo opportunities, the dock for the final dance, the dance room, the stunning tent, the water and the fire features, the build of the bar, the fun and full service getting ready rooms, the tasty food, the responsive and professional staff, and just the absolute beauty of the venue itself. I cannot recommend LOM any more!! It was a magical day. Thank you, LOM. -

An Actual Fairytale
If you want your wedding to be an absolute fairy tale, this is THE place.
Shortly after I was proposed to, I did what most women do and I started obsessively watching wedding TV shows. On the show “I Want THAT Wedding” the season finale displayed a venue that was noted as cost effective and whimsical. Oh, and there was fire in the lake at the vineyard. Fire + lake + vineyard? Wow! Living in North Hollywood my interest immediately piqued when I heard that this place was in Temecula… Not too far at all!
As soon as we arrived at the venue to do a tour with Jasmine, my now husband and I knew 100% this was the place that we wanted to get married. Jasmine had even texted us the morning of to ensure we had quick access to get ahold of her if we needed to connect that morning prior to our visit. It’s the small stuff, ya know? She treated us to a glass of champagne while we reviewed the packages available. My husband doesn’t usually alcohol, but he really enjoyed the champagne (as did I).
We had given ourselves a very short turnaround time to get married… We wanted to get married as soon as possible and barely had four months to figure it out. During our tour we discovered that this venue had everything figured out for us. All of the things that I was too stressed to figure out were included at this place… The officiant, the DJ, the floral group, the bakery, plate chargers, colored napkins, a day of planner, the food, photo booth, alcohol, golf carts, a horse and carriage… YUP, a horse and carriage!
Another small but special detail that really convinced us this place was great - after our initial tour, we were enjoying more wine in the tasting area, and when we were done we hopped on a complimentary golf cart ride back to our car. All over the property they have folks on carts offering to help transport people to their car, restroom, etc. We left right at the time that they were flipping over to an evening wedding. We got the opportunity to witness the professionalism and attentiveness that the gentleman driving the golf cart had. Though he remained very pleasant towards us, it was fantastic to see his attention switch to the wedding and hear the people on the walkie-talkies put their focus on someone’s special evening. We felt lucky to witness the professionalism and enthusiasm the employees had towards the event.
Thought then venue has an efficient day of planner, my partner and I opted to get a full planner of our own. Upon solidifying our wedding date, Lake Oak and ALL vendors worked harmoniously with our planner to ensure a seamless special day.
Every little detail throughout the whole process was either exactly what we wanted, or what we didn’t even know that we needed. You can adjust your package in many ways. They even have a wedding suite for every one to get ready in. It’s divided by having women on the top floor, men on the bottom with separate entrances. The men’s floor has a pool table, dart board, foosball table and barber chair. The women’s floor is well lit, spacious, has makeup chairs, and a bed. You’ll be assigned a host for the day that ensures your wedding party has adult beverages.
I could go on and on but I really want to emphasis that Lake Oak Meadows is a great cost, the employees have incredible work ethic and positive energy, and that it really is a magical place.
I’ve signed up for their wine club because I want an excuse to keep going back to the place that will forever be imprinted on my heart. Thank you Lake Oak Meadows for being one of the best choices I’ve ever made-

Breathtaking wedding!
My husband and I got married at LOM on March 24th. When we first visited the venue, we knew right away that this was the one. The entire venue is absolutely breathtaking. Being a busy couple, we loved that this venue was all-inclusive and had all the vendors picked out for us. The only vendors that they did not offer were the photographer and videographer. All the vendors were absolutely amazing to work with and they took our vision and made it a reality.
After we signed our contract, we did notice that they were going through a Management change and there were minor hiccups with communication and some changes that were unexpected, including the Honeymoon suite being no longer available. However, we understand that with any big changes, there may be some small bumps.
Some shoutouts for the people at LOM: Brenda was our day-of coordinator. She was attentive, supportive, and got everything done! We are so thankful to have Brenda to make sure everything went perfectly. Yasmin from Catering was also spectacular during our tasting and super responsive. Courtney is part of the venue coordinating team and always answered my emails/questions in such a timely manner. Victoria was also our bridal hostess and she was the best. She made sure that we had everything that we needed and was very welcoming. Thank you all!
Let's talk about the actual day. It was the most magical wedding -- more than anything I could have ever imagined! The Bridal Suite was comfortable and beautiful for getting-ready photos. My bridesmaids, Mom, and I had such a wonderful time getting ready and spending quality time together before the ceremony. The ceremony itself was gorgeous. I opted to pay a little extra to ride on the horse & carriage, which is SO worth it (if you are on the fence about it, don't be! It totally blew my guests away and it was also a great time to have a nice chat with my dad before walking down the aisle). The entire night from cocktail hour to last dance was absolutely incredible. Amazing food, service, bartending, DJ, and more.
I highly recommend LOM!-

Lake Oak Meadows was the Perfect Venue
I love this venue! My husband and I chose this venue because it is beautiful. We knew that it would be perfect for our vision of a nice winery rustic wedding. I had read one or two reviews stating that they had a difficult time communicating with the venue;however, I did not have that issue. Tessa, from the venue, was very responsive and eased any concerns. The venue did not need much as far as decorations go. Our guests gave us so many compliments. And at night— this place lights up. I don’t think we could have picked a better location to have our special day. -

Above and beyond
I got married recently here. Like many brides lately I had to reschedule. However, all of the lovely ladies in the office made things as easy on me as possible. They worked with me and tried to accommodate our first date as much as possible. Even offered a small ceremony and the reception on a later date. I was impressed with the customer service I received!
Then we came to the wedding day! My bridal attendant Brenda was amazing! I have her running around delivering things. Taking my wedding party here and there. She took it all in stride and made my morning so stress free!
Our coordinator Hayley was an absolute angel! She went above and beyond to help us get our mostly diy wedding all set up. She rallied my rowdy group which is not the easiest to do!
The recpetion was amazing as well! The catering was amazing and my guests were so impressed!
Dj Mike was the best! Kept the party going for us!
Hannah in the bar was the sweetest thing! She handles the busy bar so well!
The serving staff and captain were amazing as well! They made sure the area was kept clean and our water and bellies full!
Overall I could not have asked for a better experience! 10/10 recommend to any! -

Perfect Dream Wedding
My daughter had her perfect dream wedding this past July at Lake Oak Meadows.
Everything was outstanding from start to finish. When we arrived the morning of the ceremony, our suite attendant - Janelle - welcomed us and had everything ready for the bridal suites. She was extremely helpful, cheerful, and available for anything needed while getting ready.
Our day of coordinator - Lisa - was an absolute Godsend! Several weeks before the wedding she spent a long time on the phone with my daughter detailing everything my daughter wanted. She was also available several times after for emails, questions, and phone calls. She gave advice, helped with timelines and expectations, and contacted all the vendors beforehand. She also was very patient as we gave her several revisions to the seating chart leading up to the day of the wedding. Lisa also made sure everything was set up exactly how we envisioned - even as we changed a few things last minute. When she was ready to leave just before the dinner started, she made sure to let me know she was leaving and that we were in good hands. For the rest of the evening, our DJ - Taylor - kept everything moving along flawlessly. Taylor had a great personality and did an incredible job! (If anyone needs a great DJ - look him up with Good Time Entertainment - you won't be sorry!)
Adding to the spectacular evening was Temecula Catering. The food was delectable! So many of our guests have been raving about the food and saying it was the best they have ever had at a wedding. It truly was outstanding! The wait staff was superb as well! Even the security guard - Thomas - was extremely helpful and friendly! The staff and vendors provided by Lake Oak were unbelievably fantastic and treated us as if we were the most important people that day.
Of course, the venue itself couldn't be any more beautiful. The grounds are some of the prettiest and most enchanting I have ever seen. The daylight showcases spectacular flowers along the water, gorgeous trees, and beautiful vineyard areas, then the entire place lights up in the evening with twinkle lights everywhere, and fire in the lake! It was magical!
The wedding and every moment of the day was absolutely perfect!
Thank you thank you to Lake Oak Meadows and all the incredible staff and vendors!

Incredible during the pandemic
We booked Lake Oak Meadows two years out, so we had a lot of time to plan our wedding. The entire LOM staff were so helpful and responsive throughout the planning process. Come 2020, everything that was planned 2 years ago pretty much went out the window due to the corona virus. LOM reached out to update us on the current situation and kept us in the loop even though information was hard to come by. We decided to get married on our original date so we reached out to LOM to see if it was even possible to have a mini ceremony there since we really loved the venue. At that time because of the pandemic and the lockdown, nothing was in place yet and our wedding date was a week out. The LOM staff put everything together so quickly in order for us to have our mini ceremony at their venue. It was incredibly impressive how fast they planned in order to make this happen. We were able to safely get married on our original planned date and Amber was absolutely amazing to work with. She worked magic to make our mini ceremony special. Amber and the rest of LOM staff exceeded all our expectations and handled the pandemic really well. Thank you LOM for making our mini wedding ceremony so memorable during the pandemic. We can’t wait to see you again next year for the big celebration. -

Couldn't have chosen a better place
Lake oak was everything we wanted and more. At first we were trying to go cheap cheap wedding (one step above court house cheap), then decided its once in a lifetime we can spend a little more. Lake oak was the very first venue we saw and none of the others we saw after compared. Lake oak has scenery, privacy, amenities, and they are very accommodating to things that will make your day special for you. The included coordinator was the icing one the cake and she made sure we were taken care from the first email until the last dance.-

Everyone we dealt with (Sara, Angela our day of coordinator, Tanya) leading up to our big day was so kind, genuine, and responsive! They were so accommodating of us and really made our wedding feel like one of a kind and unique. They gave us lots of options to choose from to make our day feel like ours! They only do one wedding a day (which is great! because some other venues book 2 and it seems rushed and too quick of a turn over). The entire day was ours and the attention was on us. We loved the partnership with Temecula catering and that made it easy for us to choose our menu. We had a holiday (Monday) wedding and got to include an open bar which our guests loved! This is the most beautiful venue I've been to (and the price is reasonable!) I would have loved to be a guest at our own wedding and can't wait for my friends to start getting married and maybe they will choose Lake Oak Meadows so I can be a guest! :D-

Wedding May 2019
Lake Oak Meadows, you make me wish I could relive my wedding day over and over again! From the moment we booked to the moment we left for our honeymoon directly for the venue on our wedding night, the LOM team treated us like we were royalty. LOM was actually the first venue I looked at and just like when I knew my husband was the one, I knew this venue was the one before I physically even saw it. The outdoor venue is breathtaking. My wedding day was more than I could I have ever expected and it couldn't have happened without this magical place. If you are considering booking LOM, DON’T WAIT, they book days incredibly rapidly and you don’t want to be in a situation where you miss out on the day you want you or even the venue as a whole. Tessa, thank you for being there every step of our journey and for going out of your way to come in on your day off just to see Corey and I on our wedding day. Hayley, thank you for not only helping me plan/ coordinate/ setup my wedding but for helping me plan our honeymoon. To the entire Lake Oak Meadows staff, thank you for caring about our wedding day just as much as if it was yours! All our love, forever and always! -

Absolutely amazing
I am currently in the process of booking with LOM, and I want to make it known how amazing & how accommodating the group working here is. My fiancé is currently deployed over seas, & we haven’t been able to communicate since the wedding planning began. Layńe especially, has been the absolute sweetest, and biggest help. From day one, touring the grounds, I knew this was the place I saw myself, & my fiancé getting married. They have been so accommodating with my situation & planning all of this myself. Layńe herself has went out of her way to constantly be in contact with me since the tour, making sure I had all of the info I needed, all the pictures of the grounds I could imagine, & always made sure I knew i could contact her at anytime.
I can’t wait to have my special day here!! -

Breathtaking venue that will leave your guests wowed
I got married here December 2, 2018 and it was a magical experience. Seriously dream come true. My then fiancé found them on The Knot, and I didn't want to get married in a winery but I agreed to go check it out with him.
From the moment we stepped foot on the property, I was BLOWN AWAY and knew this was where we'd get married. The setting is breath-taking for both ceremony and reception.
The process was seamless and easy, they made us feel special and taken care of and weren't pushy sales people at all. The venue comes with an event coordinator which you never realize you need until you totally do!!
I was dealing with an illness and had a hard time communicating near the end, and they were kind and understanding even though I'm sure it was frustrating.
Day of: everything went perfectly! Seriously. Perfectly. Small problems that arose because I forgot a few things THEY solved quickly and I didn't have to worry at all.
Tips: Hire a good photographer because this place has so many gorgeous places for pictures.
Honeymoon suite is totally worth it! Beautiful room, jacuzzi, and they bring you delicious breakfast the next morning.
GET THE HORSE AND CARRIAGE! It was like a fairytale arriving on it as the bride and all my guests talked about it.
Upgraded lighting if you get a tent is magical and so necessary.
Thank you Lake Oak Meadows!!-

Everything was perfect, and I mean PERFECT. We have literally zero complaints or suggestions for the venue. We booked the Thursday All-Inclusive Package and when they say all-inclusive, it means you basically need to buy a dress, find an officiant, and get some flowers - because all the other big details, are taken care of by them. From the moment you step onto the property, there is this "wow" moment, and it stays with you the entire time you are at the venue. Every single one of our guests (not kidding, every single one of them) told us how beautiful our wedding was. We honestly didn't do much in terms of extra decorations, etc. because you don't need to with the location and grounds being so perfect and breathtaking.
ALL of the staff at LOM were so great to work with. Everyone was there to make sure that your day was turning out just how you wanted it. They were clear about what was included in the package, gave suggestions on what other brides had done, and the whole "planning" process was extremely smooth. My day-of Coordinator, Hayley, was such a blessing to us. She helped us with all of our questions, took care of everything on the day-of, so that we could sit back and revel in the best day of our lives. There were no issues, no problems, no hitches… Literally - everything was perfect.
The bridal suite was perfect for hair and makeup for the ladies (and some awesome dressing photos for me in the dress), and the Grooms Suite had a pool table, huge TV and big leather couches to hang out on.
In short, I will always suggest this venue to anyone, and I have nothing but positive things to say about the location, venue, staff, and the entire process. All of our guests were in awe and told us at some point during the evening how amazing the venue was. If they are available for your date - BOOK THEM. If they have an alternate date - change your date so you can BOOK THEM! -

The entire experience was exceptional. From the initial walk thru of the property. The value of the event hosted. The quality of customer service received. The rave reviews from our guest to our vendors. This was the perfect place to have our vow renewal ceremony and recommit ourselves and photograph memories of our special day.
The entire experience at lake oak meadows was exceptional.-

I was quickly in contact with the vendor and they did a great job of setting an appointment with my fiance and I. Hayley met us at the entrance and showed us around the entire property. She sat down with us to review our options and packages that they had available, all while enjoying a glass of their wine. I love the different customizing options and upgrades that are available. They have a great value and a beautiful venue. I booked and can't wait to set up my cake tastings! -

We absolutely loved our wedding venue!! Lake Oak Meadows provides a fairytale wedding and it was completely Pinterest worthy. We couldn't have been happier with our choice of wedding venue. Still today our guests inform us that this was the best and most beautiful wedding they have been to. In the beginning, customer service was a bit difficult as it was hard to get a hold of anyone, but then a new staff team came on and was great to work with. We appreciated this as we were planning our wedding out of state at the time.
The photos of this place do not do it justice, there are many little details that you need to be in person to experience.
I would recommend this venue to everyone! -

My husband and i got married on April 26. LOM was/is the venue of my dreams. So gorgeous!!! Everything went smooth, including all the communication leading up to the wedding. Every time I called the venue or the coordinator, my questions were answered...no problems at all. All the ladies were helpful and happy to help!
I've read some of the other comments and you have to understand that there is dirt...it's all outdoors! (There's also a lake, fountains, fire pits...just gorgeous.) As the bride, my white satin shoes did not get ruined or even dirty, and I walked a 4 minute walk around the lake! Like I said earlier, this is a dream venue. When I first saw it in person I cried bc it reminded me of The Notebook. This place is perfect!!!! I have recommended this venue to so many people already. It's affordable and so beautiful. I was sad to leave because it was a dream...even better than my dreams! -

Everything was wonderful! They have everything planned down to a tee. Everyone was so nice and helpful throughout the entire planning process and the day went off without a snag! Angela and all the ladies at the office were a joy to work with. Angela was a child whisperer - and saved us from cold flower girls! A few recommendations - 1) call the office directly for choosing wine offerings since they are more in-tune with the bartender plan. 2) Bring extra water for the brides/grooms suites, 3) draw pictures of everything!!! and bring them the day of. The diagrams made by the coordinators aren't detailed enough and they had to ask my bridesmaids/mom to help place stuff, 4) plan to have others help set-up certain things - e.g. photo backdrop, vases, big mirrors - these are stuff the coordinator won't do. 5) ask regularly what "else" LOM has...at our final walkthrough they had a new arch that was absolutely beautiful that we ended up using but they didn't have it when we did our first walkthrough. The venue, the people, everything was fantastic and I wouldn't change a thing! I also have a nut allergy and they were able to work with me to change the menu for the honeymoon suite brunch to accommodate. Thank you LOM! -

My husband and I got married at Lake Oak Meadows June 19, 2015. This venue is amazing!! We fell in love with it when we toured it, and it was everything we had hoped for on our wedding day. The bridal and groom suites are perfect for getting ready, and the bride and her bridesmaids get to arrive with plenty of time to get ready in leisure. It made for a very relaxing and fun start to such a big day! After we arrived, we didn't have to worry about a thing. The coordinator communicates with the rest of the staff at the venue, and keeps things running smoothly. The catering company this venue works with was WONDERFUL (I recommend a tasting... it is so fun!) and the food was great. We opted for the open bar, and our guests really enjoyed that. The DJ, Mike Shroyer, is great and kept the party fun. He is truly gifted at what he does, and you will not be disappointed. Lastly, we were so happy with the atmosphere and ambiance this venue allowed us and our guests to enjoy. The landscaping is flawless, and the natural beauty of the venue allows for a fairy tale like surrounding, which really comes across through photos. The lake and fountains light up when the sun goes down, and it makes for a very romantic setting. We were so pleased with Lake Oak Meadows, and feel lucky it was our wedding venue.! You get alot for what you pay for! I highly recommend it. -

Lake Oak Meadows was an absolute DREAM venue! I was just married there on June 8, 2013 and it was absolutely magical!! The venue itself is drop-dead gorgeous! I had originally wanted to be married at the beach, but was not willing to pay the outrageous prices for a so-so venue just to have an ocean wedding. Lake Oak Meadows was an excellent alternative.. I believe much better than a beach wedding! The lake is beautiful, the staff members were super friendly and provided excellent service! The only area that I would suggest they improve is response time. At times, it was difficult to get a hold of someone in the office, but once we did, the office staff were VERY helpful and helped make our dream wedding a reality! Other reviews of Lake Oak seem negative, but I would recommend Lake Oak to my friends and family! -

Gorgeous Venue! From the time you walk onto the property it is absolutely breath taking. Our day of cordinator Angie, was a life safer! Food was great tasting, heard after words that there was a potato nazi and only wanted to give everyone 1 potato wedge (it was buffet style). In the beginning of booking when you'd try to get ahold of anyone in the office and getting someone to give you a call back was a nightmare, seems they got that fixed before the wedding came and was much better at the end. I would definately have another event there and recommend it to anyone! -

Beautiful location and the vendors they provide are amazing; Wedding Coordinator Diana Ross (yes, that's her name), DJ Jason from Good Time Entertainment, and the food was superb! My only negative was that they built an inclosure over the dance floor after we signed the contract and the reason we chose this place was for the outdoor dance floor. -

Lake Oak Meadows
Absolutely incredible venue to hold your wedding day at! My wife and I toured multiple venues in Temecula, mostly wineries, but Lake Oak Meadows stood head and shoulders above them all.
What sets this venue apart from many in Temecula is that it was constructed primarily as an event venue with the special day in mind, with the bonus of including a winery on the grounds. By holding your wedding day here, compared to many wineries, you're avoiding the large crowds that tend to intermix with your wedding guests during much of the day. This makes things far calmer and more enjoyable for you and your guests.
Many vendors come included with this venue but what makes it particularly convenient is that they have all worked together numerous times, making the day run incredibly smoothly.
From the gorgeous stairway surrounded by grapevines down to the ceremony space surrounded by the lake to the reception area, the scenery could not be more stunning. We couldn't be happier with how our day went and personally hope to attend another wedding there just to experience its elegance again from another point of view! A+ wedding venue. -

My new husband and I had our wedding at Lake Oak Meadows this past Memorial Day.
When we first visited the venue a year prior, we were thinking to get married in Denver, where we had just moved.
I thought it would be much easier planning a wedding locally, but when we visited Lake Oak Meadows, we were taken away with the beauty of the site. We had looked at other venues, but nothing quite matched the beauty at Lake Oak Meadows. We booked our date, and we got set on planning all the details.
I was initially worried about the extra complexity of planning a wedding from out of state, but Lake Oak Meadows made it extremely simple. It was so helpful that they worked with a catering company and a coordinator, two less things for us to worry about! Payments were a breeze, and when the day came, we were so lucky to have the amenities in the bridal and grooms suite, that we felt right at home. We were got to do some fun stuff and we brought in a photo booth, a shaved ice vendor, vintage furniture rental, and we even had a drone videographer! All of the things we were able to do added to fun and uniqueness of our event. The venue staff was so helpful, even when the stress and excitement started to build throughout the day. One particular staff member really helped me ease my stress during one point, and later on in the day he helped tremendously with one of our handicapped guests. It's that kind of thoughtfulness and sense of ease that you want to have on a day when there is so much going on, and you want to focus on celebrating with your closest friends and family. All of our guests loved the space, and commented on how beautiful the scenery was. We cannot wait for our photographs to come in, because we know that they will all look stunning against the backdrop of such a beautiful venue. Thank you for such a perfect day! -

This site is beautiful, well maintained, and constantly improving. The caterer they use is amazing, got a lot of positive feedback on the food. The owners aren't super flexible with negotiating or bending when certain requests are made and they have a noise restriction that requires the music to be kept pretty low. If you are looking for loud club music, this isn't the place, but it is what i was looking for. -

Venue was gorgeous. Picking vendors from within the Al inclusive option was stress free and easy. So many different options provided to suite everyone’s taste and view. Food was delicious. The set up was dreamy. The wedding went smoothly from start to finish. Timeline was on point. Everything was set up perfectly. Staff was friendly and on point with the service. I loooved this venue for my wedding! It is so beautiful with the pond, fountains, fire pits, twinkly lights, and well kept grounds. It also included the dj and catering in the price, which was great because it was less decision making for me. The Temecula Catering food was outstanding and the service was great. Diana was my day of coordinator and she was very on top of things.
Overall, I would give this 5+ stars, except for communication with anyone during the planning process between signing the contract and a few weeks before the actual wedding is lacking. -

The venue was beautiful. I would have rated them higher if they didn't force you to use Once upon a wedding as your caterer. One issue that I had with them was that a month before my wedding they laid off the woman that was in charge of our account and all the details; and somehow all the info of my wedding disappeared. So I was getting calls about all the details and then things we were promised months later weren't being honored. It was a complete headache and stresser. So in short, venue nice but ask for every little thing in writing so they don't go back on their word. Also only use it as you ceremony site because the caterer is awful! -

The place was absolutely beautiful. The caterer we had was amazing. The staff is really nice but not really good about getting back to you in a timely fashion. Overall we were happy with the location. -

Beautiful but...
This is a beautiful venue! We fell in love and booked immediately. We had an amazing wedding day and attribute much of that to the team at Lake Oak Meadows.
However, we did have a few frustrations the day of that we feel should not have been the case with our amount of organization and communication, and their experience. Perhaps it was because our wedding was the day after Halloween and staff was hungover?
The stereo and air system in the bridal and groom suites were not functioning. Even the beauty team who frequent the venue were complaining. My husband spent about half an hour of his time wandering the premises because the ladies in the office would not show him directly where to place our decorations. Our florist had to remove arch decor from a previous wedding. The bar department called me 2 hours before our ceremony asking where our signature drink ingredients were.. I have emails in which they verify they would provide what we had asked. I had to call a friend while my hair was getting done to pick up ingredients. The catering crew (provided by the venue) could not keep straight whether or not to save our cake topper. And our coordinator (provided by the venue) was disorganized.
With all that shared, we did love our wedding! We know there’s no such thing as a completely smooth wedding. I guess we just didn’t expect our venue to hold such a great amount of responsibility for our dissatisfaction. -

Beautiful venue, so so customer experience
We fell in love with LOM the moment we saw it. We knew it was bend our budget to the max but we felt it had everything we wanted in one, gorgeous setting and decided it was worth it. We wish we had opted out of the extra money for Celebrations by Di coordination package deal as having a day-of coordinator was as effective as having a coordinator for another $900 for the year leading up to the day. We were nickel and dimed for everything at this venue and it got a little tiresome to have to battle for what seemed to be simple things but it all worked out. They did do us a huge favor and saved some of their vineyards wine bottles for us to use for decor, which was great, truly appreciated. They have a great DJ and sound system built in (no unsightly speakers, etc). I wish they'd let you choose your own caterer but all in all, all the services came together and we had a gorgeous wedding here. -

Venue is beautiful. Staff is a bit unprofessional, but they get the job done. The assigned wedding coordinator does not help with anything but make sure the ceremony goes off without a hitch. While I was getting ready she brought the pre-planned tips I had assigned to me and said her team needed more money than the catering service. This is while I am literally getting ready for my wedding. Super inappropriate! She also left before the wedding was even over. It ended at 10 and she left around 8pm, while there was still activities on the timeline. So I had to work with the DJ to make sure things got done, but they did not get done well. -

I had been looking at this place for months before my fiancé and I toured it. It had everything I could want and was a gorgeous location. The lake and peninsula sold my fiancé and I. However, the lady who we were in communication with was so pushy and rude. We tried looking past that because we loved this place. However, we attended a Valentine's dinner and the service was awful, the food was cold, portion size was too small to satisfy anyone, and they had us wait 1 hour and 30 minutes to get our food served. The best part about that night was the bartender. He was on top of it. It's been 3 months and I haven't heard from our coordinator. Safe to say we won't be having our wedding there after all. -

If you're looking for a beautiful private location and have a limited budget this is definitely your place. However, if you also expect decent service and professionalism on your special day, I'd look elsewhere.
Pros:
- Beautiful location
- Private setting
- Compared to other venues, fairly inexpensive
Cons:
- Unorganized staff
- Get everything in writing - what they say is not always what you get
- Lack of professionalism
- Forced to use their vendors (caterer/DJ)
- Day-of-coordinator lacks experience -

This place is Beatiful! However, it seems they are always going through staff members.
Everytime I would call to make a payment, I would be speaking to someone new. They would inform me that the previous person no longer worked there...
I originally fell in love with this place because of their scenery. It's GORGEOUS! I dont want to bad mouth this place but I would like to explain the ratings I gave... I booked this venue for a Ceremony Only.
I was informed that if I did a ceremony only, I would have to be out of there by a certain time, which I completely understood. There was an evening wedding right after mine. However, I feel that I didnt get treated fairly.. I understand mine was a wedding only, but I also paid to use this venue, wether it was for 2 hours or 6 hours. I was a paying customer and should have recieved the same treatment as the other bride. However, everyone was too busy worrying about the evening wedding that I couldnt seem to get anyone to help me. I was supposed to have a golf cart escort me to the top of the hill along with my father, instead I had to walk all the way to the back to try and get someone to do this for me... in high heels!.. I was finally able to find someone, and he was extremely rude. I told him I needed a ride to the top of the hill as my cerermony was about to start and he rolled his eyes in front of me..he didnt even try to hide it... Needless to say, I was at the top of the hill greeting my guests. It was terrible. I was very dissapointed. Also, there was no sound during my ceremony.. I was not informed that there would no sound.. It was just not what I expected, especially for all the money I had to pay...
I would like to point out the Jessica (Customer Service) was very helpful though. -

When we went to visit this location for our December wedding, my husband and I thought we found the perfect wedding location. We were told they would work with us on budget and extras. We were allowed to bring in our own dj but had to use their catering company which we had no problem with. We signed the contract and from there on out they did not care about you. I have no complaints about their catering company whatsoever. They were wonderful and we had lots of compliments about the food and desserts they provided. On the day of the ceremony I was less than thrilled. The site looked beautiful but we were treated less than wonderful. The ceremony went ok but at the reception that all changed. We paid for space heaters outside for the dj (who had to set up outside the tent) which did not work. They would not refund us on the cost of those. Then after the main dances they removed their speakers from tent so the guests had no background music. The music that was still playing outside had to be kept so low you could not even dance to it. The owners kept coming over saying the music was too loud (but you couldn't even hear it in the test that was 10ft away). They came back started unhooking our djs equipment. When our dj asked them to not touch his computer and equipment the owners started cursing and dropping the "f" word to our dj (infront of the little kids who were trying to dance to the
music). We were told we had to pack up and leave even though we still has almost 2 hrs of reception time left. They said they could not risk getting a fine for the music being too loud. We did not get an apology or refund for the lost time. I would not let the beauty of lake oak meadows fool you. All I can say is you have been warned. Good luck. -

My fiance and I work in law enforcement and were super careful about being upfront with what we wanted in the wedding and following their rules. We had prior approval with our day-of coordinator to pass out small shooters of alcohol in the ceremony. It wasn't until two days later that we got fined for an "alcohol violation." Apparently we weren't supposed to hand out shooters. When I told management I had approval with my coordinator, they then changed the reasoning to because they found an empty beer can in the suite. I can say with 100% certainty that our bridal party did not bring any outside alcohol into the suite as requested. Friends and family did stop by the suite to say hi and probably left their trash behind. But we got fined $515 for trash left by people coming by to say hi. No employees mentioned anything to us on the day of or asked about outside alcohol. They literally fined us $500+ for trash left behind by wedding guests.
We also paid for a second bartender that was non existent most the evening. When we asked the single bartender where he was, she slipped up and said they usually send him home around 7-8. We had to go to management and ask for the second bartender we paid for and were returned with nothing but a huge attitude.
We never got our grand exit that we had requested and planned for!
The venue communication leading up to the wedding was awful. Id go days and weeks without hearing back from anyone, and it seemed as if the things I requested were always lost in translation. They always blamed it on "changing management."
The venue definitely is beautiful. My day of coordinator was very sweet and helpful. But I feel so disappointed by how we were treated by Lake Oak Meadows and for the insane amount of money we paid for the wedding, I would have definitely gone somewhere else.

Wish I had more time to find a better place
Very disappointed in this venue. It was a nightmare to get any assistance as soon as we paid. Before we paid it was great. I would not recommend this venue as there are so may pretty ones in Temecula with hopefully much better service. The bridal room was not ready when we got there. The only reason we didn’t cancel this venue and lose our money is because of one person, Lisa. She was the only
One who would help and try to if questions. The food was ok. The dj was ok but barely contacted me a day or so before. There were ants everywhere including on the dinner tables. I highly recommend another venue for the same price. -

Disappointing Experience with Poor Communication & Hidden Charges
While most of our wedding at LOM was beautiful, the planning process was frustrating due to poor communication, hidden fees, and lack of accountability.
Three weeks before the wedding, we were blindsided by an unexpected charge for two extra meals because LOM includes the bride and groom in the guest count—something never disclosed. This should have been clarified at booking, but instead, we were misled.
Then a final contract review revealed a $1,088 charge for absolutely nothing, due to an error when switching "late night bites" for an extra bar hour. LOM never informed us, ignored our concerns and attempts to speak via phone or email for five whole days, and sent three incorrect invoices. When the issue was brought to the actual owners, they then refused to rectify their staff's mistake or speak with us directly, so we went without the bar hour.
Wedding Day Highlights & Issues:
✔ Lisa (Day-of Coordinator) was fantastic.
✔ Jorge (main server) & bartenders provided excellent service.
✔ The food was delicious.
❌ Stephanie (Bridal Hostess) was scattered —late service, broken A/C, and neglected the groomsmen.
❌ Signature drinks we confirmed weren’t served.
❌ Our DJ, Patrick Hill, ignored our curated playlist, ruining the dance floor vibe/party. Biggest disappointment to us.
Frustrated, we left early for our afterparty. While the venue is stunning, LOM’s lack of transparency, organization, and customer service made the experience awful and disappointing. I wouldn’t recommend them at all.Lake Oak Meadows Weddings and Events's reply:
We truly appreciate you taking the time to share such a detailed and honest review. We’re sincerely sorry that aspects of your planning experience with us fell short of your expectations. Your wedding day should be full of excitement—not frustration—and it’s clear we did not meet that standard in several key areas.
We hear your concerns regarding communication, unexpected charges, and invoice errors, and we deeply regret the stress that caused so close to your big day. We also take full responsibility for any confusion or missteps made during the planning process and understand how disappointing that must have been. Your feedback has already prompted several internal reviews and process changes, especially around clarity in pricing and final invoice checks.
We’re grateful you took the time to recognize the team members who did provide excellent service—Lisa, Jorge, and the bartenders—as well as the quality of the food. That means a lot to us.
While we understand you wouldn’t recommend us based on your experience, we’re still thankful you entrusted us with such an important day and will use your feedback to continue improving for future couples.
Wishing you all the best in your marriage and beyond,
—The Lake Oak Meadows Team -

The venue is beautiful. However, coordination of our wedding for JULY 2016 was a horrible experience. The wedding coordinator did not make initial contact 2 months prior to the wedding. The accounting/ invoice department had hidden charges. They charge extra 100 dollars for people between 13- 20 yrs of age when there is no difference in what they will eat as a regular 21 year old and above adult.. They also have a 20 percent service fee which does not include in their very expensive package in which we were not informed. The place is a great location, however, the accounting could have been handled in a more accurate and professional manner. Please contact me for any questions about our experience. 6193357121

The beautiful venue was the only saving grace with this place
We booked in January 2020 for our April 2021 wedding. In working with Lake Oak Meadows, especially during the day of our event, we were severely disappointed with the level of service, communication, and professionalism exhibited by the staff. Granted COVID happened, but had we fully known the type of experience we would have, despite the pandemic, when signing a contract with Lake Oak Meadows, we would have thought twice about moving forward.
There's more to the list below, but to reflect how this venue operates, I feel this is enough information to warn others. I had read before booking that LOM runs as a wedding mill - aka - once you sign the contract and you hand over your money, they really stop caring about your experience. Had it not been for our wedding Coordinator and family stepping up and the venue itself being beautiful, our wedding would have been a disaster.
1.) Upon the second California stay-at-home orders issued in December 2021, Lake Oak Meadows made no effort to contact us regarding the suspension of business operations, and maintained that the venue was open for business on their public website. When we discovered by a bar tender working the tasting area in January that the venue was not conducting weddings, we made multiple efforts via phone and email to speak with anyone on the staff who could explain current circumstances. After SEVERAL WEEKS without hearing back, we were finally told that the venue had indeed suspended holding weddings due to government policies, and it was Lake Oak Meadows' intent to call us 30 days prior to our event in order to discuss alternative dates for our event. That's not near enough time had we actually needed to move our event and tell guests of changes.
2.) We found out THE DAY BEFORE OUR WEDDING that there was another wedding scheduled for the morning of our event!!! Again, we only found out because one of the bar tenders asked my now MIL "which wedding on Sunday is your sons?". (Thanks bar tenders for keeping it real). The venue told neither us nor our wedding coordinator about the morning wedding. We immediately went to the office where Amber claimed that the morning wedding would have ended and the guests gone by 2pm, when she clearly had full knowledge that their contract lasted until 3pm. Also, she stated they would have additional clean up crews to flip the venue in time to for us to set up our wedding. AND to rub salt in the wound, the staff lied saying they told our coordinator about the other wedding, so she should have been aware. Happened that our coordinator was still onsite running a rehearsal, we told her what they had said. She was equally pissed they were willing to throw the coordinators under the bus instead of accepting responsibility.
Despite these claim, the guests of the earlier event remained on site after 3pm, and THE PARENTS AND SIBLINGS OF THE GROOM had to personally clean-up the ceremony site, remove flowers and linen from the arch, move chairs, and clear tables at the reception area in order to begin setting up decor for our wedding.
3.) Documents provided at the time we signed our contract stated that the winery would close to the public at 2pm on days when weddings were held, but the winery remained open to the public until 7pm on the day of our wedding along with LIVE freaking music playing directly outside the bridesmaids and groomsmen suites. It interfered with us getting ready and the first look photos. The first look was supposed to be an intimate moment when instead we had a crowd staring at us. Also, you could hear the band playing during the toasts at our reception. You would think with hosting 2 weddings that day, they had already made enough money to have respect for the couples who just gave them thousands of dollars to shut down to the public at an appropriate time. But nope $$$ is all that matters to this venue. -

Terrible experience
The information you get in the amazing sales pitch is that this place runs like clockwork — you have nothing to worry about and you are getting a great service.
What we discovered through our experience is that this place IS a wedding mill. They have hundreds of weddings a year so you will not get special treatment. It doesn’t matter how many times you speak to them they still don’t know anything about you and don’t care.
I had my wedding there in December, and was completely dissatisfied with the lack of professionalism and with the unwillingness of this business to take responsibility.
The issues:
In the weeks prior they sent me emails with charges for things that were included in the contract only to backtrack when disputed.
The staff is super disorganized and you have to call and email multiple times to get answers to questions as they’re pretty lax about responding.
On the day of the wedding they charged my card without authorization for a payment they didn’t explain.
Despite a guarantee that their tent would be 70 degrees because we paid for a powerful blow heater, they forgot that they needed propane and started to bring in individual heaters as people were having dinner while freezing. Freezing guests are prone to go home as early as possible and to not stay to celebrate.
The staff took expensive whisky bottles that were gifts from the grooms suite because it’s their policy.
They forgot to transport us back after the wedding.
They had the wrong signage for the last call causing people to not be able to get drinks in time. They already give you only 5 hours.
The wedding coordinator is nowhere to be found in case of an actual problem as she goes home when the party starts.
Sadly, when you bring these issues up to them, their answer is to deny that anything went wrong or give you fake apologies, depending on the issue.
So in sum, if you need a venue that is run professionally, or cares about your concerns, this is not the place.

Only asset is the beautiful venue. Beyond that, customer service falls off a cliff. Business is more into making money than customer service, especially if they can make money from your misfortune. They tell you they work seamlessly with the caterer, but when you complain to either one, they bifurcate their responsibilities and blame each other. We had teenagers serving the guests, like Ronins without a leader. Working hard, but obviously on minimum wage and inexperienced. I tipped everyone including the kitchen staff twice the maximum amount suggested. Not their fault. In fact, the caterer actually shot back at me with an argumentative tone, as if the bad service was my fault !! The bride's mother didn't get her plate until 10 minutes after all the other 9 people on our table had received theirs. Never has a service oriented company talked to me like that. My credit card must have gone through! The venue's response email to any flexibility starts with "as per your contract". It's all about squeezing as much money out of you on this special occasion when you are vulnerable. -

Verbally Assaulted Bride
If you care about security and a safe environment for your loved ones DO NOT HAVE YOUR WEDDING HERE. We had multiple groups of drunk people walk through our event and use our assigned restrooms. Two different groups even verbally assaulted me (one of the brides) when told it was a private event. One of those groups that verbally assaulted me, helped themselves to drinks at our open bar and food; they were dancing with our family and friends, then proceeded to verbally assault me when I confronted them. After all of this, multiple witnesses, stolen items, filing a formal complaint to the venue owners, their response is “your event is not private, all we can do is attempt semi-privacy.” They belittled our safety and security concerns as “slight hiccups”….DO NOT HAVE YOUR WEDDING HERE. Mind you, we were REQUIRED to pay for security as part of our contract, yet there was NONE -

Wedding Crashers
I’ll start off by saying the vendors we worked with were great. Flowers were beautiful, catering was delicious, DJ/MC kept the party going, coordinators were pleasant to work with. The venue itself is beautiful. Positive things to say end there.
If you’re ok with angry drunk wedding crashers from the winery storming into your wedding for free drinks, food, and dancing, then this is the venue for you! We recently had a wedding here and had random drunk winery guests regularly walking through and crashing our reception. Although the venue requires payment for security in the contract, there was no security working at our reception. While we were seated at dinner, groups of people were walking in between the sweetheart table and our guest tables. Random drunk people would show up and yell profanities at my wife, myself, and our guests. Winery people even tried to fight the bride at one point because they didn’t want to leave our reception and they wanted to keep eating and drinking on someone else’s tab. We had to keep telling angry drunk winery people that we were having a private event and asking them to leave because security was nowhere to be found.
This venue is going to promise that you will have your own private area, bathrooms, and will stay completely separate from the public winery. This is completely false. In fact, when I complained about everything that happened, they responded that all they can do is “attempt semi-privacy” and basically that’s what we get for booking at a winery in Temecula. They called drunk aggressive wedding crashers a “slight hiccup”. We booked a year in advance but it seems this place changes leadership and staff frequently so things are changing constantly and it’s unorganized. By the time we had our event, the parking lot for weddings didn’t even have permits, our guests had to park in a faraway dirt lot by some dumpsters.

Beware- Bartenders stole our Honeymoon Funds
Beware brides!
Their bartender took off with our honeymoon funds! When I contacted Lake Oak Meadows they were just as disgusted about the situation. The Bartenders tried to put the blame on the groom... saying they removed the fund and handed it to him, he never received them, also this break protocols of staff touching anything of ours. How tacky is that? They (bartenders )drank on our dime got super drunk broke my table displays and gave away all of our extra alcohol we bought and provided them with , they also charged my guest during cocktail hour when we had a paid bar. This place is an absolute shit show! There's no doubt this venue is beautiful but it's not worth the headache and disappointment. I tried to be reasonable with LOM and not report them to the police. But it wasn't until they "couldn't access their cameras" I knew something was shady. They dodged my calls, my emails, and my text messages. The told me they couldn't access my day of videos and their owner Frank Aglio was too busy in meetings to view the cameras. I'm sorry, a crime was committed on Frank and Lisa's property and they're too busy to call me or look into it? Steer clear. They already have lawsuits against them for their practices. They have an F rating on the BBB which they tried changing the name in July 2020 because of their poor ratings. What a nightmare. -

Lies and No Professionalism
We booked LOM pre-pandemic for a wedding in June of 2020, almost a year and half in advance. Much like other recenter reviews, we unfortunately fell for their sales pitch & booked our wedding trusting that the promise a private venue would be kept. When the pandemic hit, LOM allowed us to move our date back with no issues and I had all the hope in the world that our promises would continue to be kept. Unfortunately, that was not the case. The venue actively chooses not to communicate ANY details to their couples. Sara C in the office was not only rude to me, but a few months out of our rescheduling wedding actively ignored each and every message I sent her unless I asked one of our vendors to talk to her on our behalf. Ashlynn was also extremely rude to me when I began to question of all of the changes that I was hearing through the grapevine of our vendors. Each change, such as a tasting no longer being offered complimentary and onsite at LOM with the caterer, the venue no longer being private, and a new bridal/groom get ready suite being built were things I learned through HORROR stories from our vendors. They blamed everyone on the COVID & needing to “keep their lights on.” Clearly, no couples were kept in the loop on any changes were practically gaslit by LOM staff when pushing back. I was told for weeks that I could not use the new bridal suites starting at 9am the day of my wedding despite the extra money I had paid for those additional hours. This is the because the new bridal suite is also the honeymoon suite? We were told we could use the room at 11am. After my VENDORS argued with LOM on my behalf because, as usual, Sara C ignored my every message, I was told 9am would be fine. Then, the night before the wedding I was told I could not use the new bridal suite until 11am (this is was 9pm THE NIGHT BEFORE) because the AC was failing. When I questioned this by stating I had been in the new bridal suite that morning and it was cold, suddenly it was because they needed to spray for ants. As if you can't plan to do that on any other day than the wedding I booked a year in advance (after rescheduling). It was a blatant lie. We were then told we would need to use the bridal suite that is now INSIDE THE WINERY. I was told no guests would be seated near the suites due to my complaints, but low and behold guests were seated directly outside the door and I was a zoo animal all afternoon. We also had an audience of strangers clapping during private moments. I was promised "additional amenities" for these issues and received nothing except a refund of less than $600 that was noted as an "overpayment." During the wedding, the LOM staff were dazed and confused. We paid an enormous amount of money for an open bar and 2 hours into wedding they tried to change to a cash bar until my father had to tell all of the bartenders to knock it off. If you want a venue that ignores you, takes your money and lies straight to your face then this is the venue for you. My recommendation, DO NOT HAVE YOUR WEDDING HERE. -

We were flipped off during wedding pictures.
This is just the start and one of the results of Lake Oak Meadows negligence and lies. We were contractually sold on our private dream wedding. We chose the venue because it was private and we were told no outside guests would be allowed on the property after 2pm. Instead, we were informed one month before the wedding (and by a vendor - apparently Lake Oak Meadows had no intention of telling us) that they would have their winery open to the public during our wedding and reception.
When we were addressed our concerns to lake oak meadows, we were reassured that there would be extra security, no noise, or people in sight from outside people. Wedding day comes around and we have drunken winery guests literally telling my now wife "f*** you" and calling her a "b*****", people flipping us off while we're taking our wedding pictures, other winery guests yelling at the mother of the bride, random strangers literally walking in to our wedding in plain clothes and eating our appetizers and wedding food because the venue didn't have enough security, the heaters not coming out until it was hours later when it was too cold and dark and half our guests already left, nothing being roped off like they said they would, a useless wedding coordinator, and none of our requests answered. The list goes on here really.
Mind you, we're very cordial people - we didn't engage with these guests or were by any means unreasonable. We just spent our life savings on one day and expected a little bit of professionalism from Lake Oak Meadows. 2-3 Months later now and they are still ignoring us.
Be warned - Lake Oak Meadows will lie to your face and as soon as they have your money, they won't respond, won't care about you, and will leave you to the wolves on your wedding day surrounded by drunk winery guests, incompetent security and staff, and unresponsive ownership.
-- Here comes the generic auto-response from owner's trying to trick you into thinking they care (despite ignoring our emails the last couple months). Fun stuff. Save your money, go elsewhere :) Especially if you want private. Don't believe them haha. -

WARNING! Do NOT plan a wedding here !
NEVER! COUPLES BEWARE! I wish I could put NO stars. Make sure you read your contracts. This venue will try an screw you and they don’t even care about if they promised you one thing. They will screw you. This is a HORRIBLE venue!
We had NO staff day of my wedding to help us. We were told the venue would be private and winery would be closed at 3 (hour before wedding started) and without notifying us we find out through a vendor they are leaving the winery open during our wedding. We had 3 fights before the wedding with drunk winery guests. One of those took place during my first look with my husband and a winery guest came up and started flipping me off saying “f*CK you” out of no where during a very special moment and wouldn’t leave us alone. There was NO security or staff to help even when we called for it. Our wedding parties had to come help us. Even our videographers and photographers had to get involved. It was out of control. Never getting an apology from the venue.
The MOB got to an argument with winery guests that came and sat at our wedding tables that were set for the wedding. The winery guests started yelling at my mother.
The winery didn’t give a damn about my wedding.
We had to constantly try to keep winery guests out of our “private wedding”. there was winery guests in our restrooms causing long lines and even EATING OUR WEDDING FOOD! Nothing like we were promised or what was in our contract.
Do NOT plan your wedding here! -

Run away!
RUN AWAY!!
We booked LOM in Jan. 2020, pre-pandemic. We unfortunately fell for their sales pitch & booked our wedding for April 2021 on the spot.
Everything they promised in their pitch is a lie & they do not give a damn about you once they get your money. They gladly accepted our checks for 15 months, but took months to respond to our emails or calls.
-They promise a private venue. The winery closes 2 hours before your wedding, or so they say. We found out AT OUR REHEARSAL, that that was not the case. They blamed it on the pandemic & needing to “keep their lights on.” As if our $30,000 is not enough to keep the lights on for the day. Amber said we “must have slipped through the cracks,” because we never had to postpone. By that logic, we were less important than other couples & didn’t need to be informed of changes. However, after speaking to other brides, I realized she lied. None of the couples were kept in the loop.
-Because of this, we felt like zoo animals while taking our photos. We had an audience of strangers clapping & trying to talk to us. Photos with random people in our background. Our photographer had to constantly shoo people. We even had drunk winery guests crashing our reception. One of my bridesmaids had to go kick them out! No security whatsoever!!
-We were told we would have two bartenders. NOPE. There was one man serving 110 guests. The line was endless!
-We were told 4 weeks before our wedding that we could have our wedding as planned. Not only COULD we have the wedding, we HAD to have the wedding. No postponing. No downsizing guest count. No refunds. We were scrambling trying to reach the 125 we were forced to pay for our Saturday wedding. When we realized that was not possible, it took numerous calls/emails to finally reach Amber.
-We held off on sending our final payment until we heard from Amber. Never once did they ask for it, & it did not rush her to return our calls. However, as soon as we “conceded,” they needed their money right then & there. They were all over us with calls/emails about the money, but took WEEKS when we needed to talk to them.
-They offered “venue concessions.” (Heaters, extra suite hours, lanterns, etc.) We had already paid for extra hours in the suites. Their lanterns are ugly & would not fit our vibe. We settled on heaters for the reception, the honeymoon suite, & a deduction of the extra hours from our final payment. $1300 concessions for $3500 loss.
The Day Of:
-There were no heaters!!! 6 heaters x $75 each = $450. I’m sure that was their plan all along. Throw in heaters, but not actually give them. Our guests were freezing!
-My husband went to check in to the groom’s suite at 12:20 (already late because they send a golf cart) only to be told, “we don’t have you down until 1 pm.” We had it booked for noon for over a year!!
-The locks were broken, & they had drunk wine guests stumbling in to pee, w/ all their valuables laying around!!
-Our coordinator was awful. Everyone was going to our officiant/friend thinking she was in charge. Angela, our assigned coordinator from LOM, left as we were eating dinner. I only really saw her was when she told me she was leaving. She was snappy & rude with my bridesmaids, which is unacceptable.
-We paid to have rose petals down the aisle, which were never placed. I reached out to our florist to ask. She gave them to Angela’s assistant to place before the entrance. I went to Angela about this & she had no knowledge & blamed the florist for not placing them herself. Our florist, who was a joy to work with, mentioned that she “didn’t have a good experience” with Angela & that she “wasn’t very nice.”
-Our wedding ended at 10. At 10:04pm we had a female security guard getting aggressive in the groom’s face because our cars weren’t moved yet! FOUR MINUTES after our wedding ended. It was so aggressive that our DJ had to step in & stop the woman!
After the wedding:
-I woke up the next morning, THE MORNING AFTER MY WEDDING, to an email from Amber. She had the NERVE to say, “your guest count did not end up not being effected by COVID.” On our final paperwork, I wrote 125 as the headcount because, as I told her, “if I’m being forced to pay for 125, then they better be cooking 125 meals.”
Her email continued, “The many comped upgrades we agreed to apply to your invoice were based on the fact that you’d shared that you’d be at a financial loss…I am in discussions with accounting on how to solve this issue…I’ll let you know as soon as possible what needs to be done to resolve this issue on your invoice.”
When I responded by pointing out the facts, & saying that she’d hear from our lawyer if she sends us an invoice, we never heard back from her. Though, she's known to take months to respond, so jury is still out on that one!
Long story short, DO NOT HAVE YOUR WEDDING HERE. There are plenty of other beautiful venues that will treat you like an actual human, rather than a dollar sign.
Positive: Temecula Catering and DJ, Taylor Stroyer! -

Refusing to refund
I would be wary of booking here, read the fine print.
My fiance and I were very much looking forward to having our wedding here, however Covid-19 happened. I know that this is in no way the venues fault, but it is the venues fault that they are refusing to refund all the money paid when no services were rendered. We were scheduled to have our wedding in July, it was up in the air whether the wedding had to be postponed or not. They asked us to choose a backup date, so we chose one for next year. After the backup date was chosen the venue informed us that the wedding could happen on the original date, this year in July. My fiance and guests finalized flight and hotel bookings, took time off work, and spent a lot of money. 10 days later, they email us saying they had to postpone the wedding due to Covid-19. This was after it was already agreed the wedding would continue. The venue refused to offer a refund when we requested and said if we wanted to cancel it was on us and we would loose our money! This is horrible customer service and not legal. I know am in the process of taking the venue to small claims to try and get my money back. Long story short, I wouldn't trust them unless you have $10,000 and more to throw away. -

Professionalism
Let me begin by stating I fully understand that we are in uncharted waters when it comes to COVID-19 and all related issues; however Lake Oak Meadows has completely lost me with their handling of our wedding. We have rescheduled our wedding 3 times and have now been told we need to reschedule a 4th. I have asked numerous times to be contacted via telephone and am still waiting to talk to a human being. I have been told emphatically via email that we cannot be refunded any of our money despite the fact that we are going on 6 months passed our original wedding date. Lake Oak Meadows has no idea when they will be able to perform weddings because absolutely NOBODY does due to COVID. They continue to push our date out with zero concern for us or our guests and the strain it puts on us. They are holding us hostage by refusing to cut us loose despite the fact that they have been paid in full for our wedding for over 8 months and cannot live up to their end of our contract. I was told the President of the corporation would be contacting me directly 5 days ago and have still yet to hear from anybody. Thank you for taking our money and not providing us with anything in return...not even a phone call. -

We recently had our wedding at Oak Meadows and there are definitely some good things about the venue and then some not so good things.
We will start off on a positive note about the good things:
-beautiful venue- the grounds are kept very nice, lots of amazing places to take pictures, friends said it was the most beautiful wedding they had ever been too.
- Our day of coordinator Angela was beyond amazing! She was our saving grace as far as their staff went
and unfortunately thats about it for the positives.
The Negatives:
- AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE, I cannot even stress how awful their customer service is. As soon as you sign your name on the dotted line their attitude towards you totally changes. We had several billing problems with them, I reported these issues to their staff by email and phone and never heard back until I sent an email threatening to cancel our wedding at their venue. The owner Lisa called after I sent the email and assured me I would have no further issues and then the very next billing cycle we had the same issue. When you go on your tour they tell you that you will become best friends with the office staff and they are there to help you, but that is a joke! I had the hardest time ever getting a hold of anyone. Had I done my research a little more I would have found that several other brides have had the exact same experience with their customer service. Its shocking to me that there are several reviews about their horrible customer service and they do nothing to make it a better experience for brides and grooms. One of the vendors I used stated that she had heard from several brides that had the same venue as us that they had the same experience as I did.
All in all my wedding was the most amazing day of my life. The day of staff was great. I just really wish that I had a better experience in the planning of the wedding . They definitely left a sour taste in my husband and I's mouth. I have a hard time recommending this venue, it was an amazing day but the months leading up could have been less stressful. This place has the potential to be to 5 stars. -
