Perfect venue for our wedding! Not only can you have a beautiful background for your ceremony but also accommodations for a reception as well. So grateful to have had the opportunity to have our wedding there. We toured a couple venues but after touring Lake Lyndsey, there was no need to look elsewhere.

From the time we made our appointment to tour the venue, we were greeted with grace and excitement. We picked the location for our special day, specifically Kayla’s Korner. Staff was friendly, available, and accommodating. We felt like this was the perfect place for us in all elements, space, accommodation, and customer service. Having the freedom to choose your own caterers, as well as the resources for services reinforced our decision to have our special day here. I couldn’t think of a better place to have had our wedding! Additionally, our guests were talking about how beautiful the venue was. Lastly, it was great that they provide an event coordinator for the duration of your event to solve any issues or simply to guide the various vendors to their allocated spaces.

Such a beautiful venue

The staff was so professional and easy to work with, the ceremony area for Kayla’s korner had my loved ones in tears (in a good way) and the reception hall was perfect.

I highly highly highly recommend this venue!

Wedding on the lake

This place is gorgeous. I received so many compliments. The staff is very nice & patient (I called & bothered them A LOT!!). Best venue ever & it was an honor to have my wedding there.

Beautiful Indian Wedding!

I just wanted to drop some love to the staff at Lake Lyndsay! As a wedding planner, I loved working at LL & look forward to many more weddings together! The staff is a 'roll up your sleeves' kind of crew & will do whatever it takes to make the day as dreamy as possible, which is every bride's dream (&& their wedding planner's)! The wedding we hosted together was in the lodge & had a stunning ceremony under the gazebo with the reception inside. Ample space that fit a large sweetheart table / stage area for photos, extensive DJ set up, tables for almost 150 guests, and a photo booth & buffet. A dream come true

I found this venue 2 years ago on a random Google search when my (at the time) boyfriend and I first talked about saving for our wedding and budgeting. Ever since then I have had this venue in the back of my mind when I would envision our future wedding. Even after all that build up, our wedding was like a dream. We rented the Beach House and felt like we were in our own little private world out on the water. The staff was all very professional and accommodating. Highly recommend.

Lake Lyndsay's Beach House is stunning!

My husband and I fell in complete love with Lake Lyndsay's Beach House, it was exactly what we wanted. Lyndsay and her staff are hands down amazing. No matter what my question was they were quick to respond and always very helpful. Our original date was rescheduled due to COVID, Lyndsay and her team kept in contact via email and always offered any help they could during a stressful time. While at the Beach House on the day of our event, July 10th we had LL coordinators that were incredibly nice and answered any questions we had. I will always recommend Lake Lyndsay to anyone looking for a venue....Gorgeous Views, Beautiful Venue, AMAZING owner and staff....what more could you ask for? Go see them and check it out for yourself, you won't be dissapointed!!!

Absolutely loved it!

My husband and I got married in July 2020, of course in the covid-19 year. We can not explain enough to them of how grateful and satisfied we were with choosing lake Lyndsay as our venue and how friendly the staff were. They were easy to talk too, very flexible and understanding, and the venue was absolutely beautiful. We are very grateful that we were able to use this venue. It made wedding planning very easy since they were so flexible and understanding. As you know the year of covid-19 is stressful, well just think about planning a wedding for a year then not knowing if you would still get married while everything shutting down.

Beautiful place to have a wedding!

Lake Lyndsay staff VERY helpful in planning and execution of our big event! We had an outdoor wedding and indoor reception during the pandemic. The large venue was great for spacing and our guest enjoyed the outdoor patio and gazebo areas all night long! The grounds were an amazing backdrop for beautiful pictures! All staff were great to work with and very helpful, supportive, encouraging. Highly recommend!

Lake Lyndsay - A Well Thought Out Plan For Any Occasion

We are still in awe of how amazing our wedding day was at Lake Lyndsay. So many great memories were made with our friends and families. Every moment was pristine.

Lake Lyndsay is an exceptional venue for that special occasion that you will re-live in your mind for years to come. We were married in The Lodge which was so very stunning. Everything was absolutely perfect. We brought the Church to the Lake by having the ceremony and reception at The Lodge and it worked out perfectly. We have received many, many, many compliments on how beautiful our wedding ceremony was at Lake Lyndsay.

Lyndsay and her staff were extremely accommodating and efficient to all of our intricate needs. Lyndsay is top notch and her staff's quality of service is beyond words. Clean up was a breeze.

This venue has a wonderful dance floor and can accommodate a large band for your reception. The kitchen and bar areas can facilitate your every need. The Lodge is exceptional!!!!!!!

We would recommend this unique and exquisite venue for your special occasion. Lake Lyndsay was a well thought out plan to make any event successful!!!!!!

Excellent place-beautiful grounds!

Everyone at Lake Lyndsay was so helpful throughout the wedding process! The Lodge was just recently renovated and it looks great-perfect for a big wedding! Lyndsay was willing to answer every single one of my million questions! The entire staff is friendly and easy to work with and will help your entire day go very smoothly. The grounds are beautiful-I got married in November and the scenery was still beautiful with the lake and trees in the background.

Perfect Venue

Lyndsay and all her staff at Lake Lyndsay Lodge were exceptional to work with! The venue was perfect for a fall wedding even though it rained and the ceremony was inside. It's a beautiful, large location. I can't say enough about the professional and easy process from reserving the venue through the special day. I would highly recommend this venue!

A GORGEOUS and friendly venue!

When I toured Lake Lyndsay I immediately knew it was the place I wanted to have my reception. I used Kayla's Corner and it was the perfect size for my 115-person reception. We took photos outside all afternoon before our ceremony and there are so many beautiful spots. Its great that you get the venue all day, and you can supply your own alcohol. This was a cost savings for us. I cannot say enough about how great Lyndsay was to work with throughout the whole process. Kelly was a wonderful reception assistant too, on the day of. They renovated Kayla's Corner in the winter of 2019 making the space bigger. Well worth it!

Yes this place was a bit of a drive for some of our guests, but it was well with it. We had so many compliments on how beautiful the place was! I couldn't imagine getting married anywhere else. We spent the entire day there getting ready, getting pictures, and on to the ceremony amd reception. That meant no need for transportation for the wwdding party saving us money. Plenty of places for photographs all around the lake. If I were to do everything over again, this is one thing I would not change. Just go take a look if you are not sure. I bet you will fall in love!

Lake Lyndsay is one of the most beautiful venues I've seen. Most weddings take place at Golf/Country Clubs or in Hotel Ballrooms, but if you're looking for something a little more unique, Lake Lyndsay is top choice! I still get compliments on how gorgeous the whole venue was - ceremony location (outside) and reception venue (inside, The Lodge). Everyone I worked with or spoke to at Lake Lyndsay was professional, quick to respond, and so very helpful. I'm so happy I chose this place for our big day, and I would highly recommend this venue to anyone!!

Lake Lyndsay is a beautiful venue. But more importantly, Lyndsay was so great to us when we needed to plan a wedding in a short amount of time. She met with us several times, offered suggestions, and even showed up on the day of the wedding to help us make the space look great when we had an issue with one of our vendors. Lyndsay, thank you so much for making my daughter's special day great!

Lake Lyndsay and specficially Lyndsay herself were absolutely amazing! I planned my wedding in 2 months and Lyndsay was there to offer assistance every step of the way. On the day of the wedding she helped make everything look perfect when things didn't go to plan with other vendors. The reception (Kayla's Korner) and ceremony (Beach House) venue were beautiful and there is plenty of room for the bridal party to get ready. They also have a room full of décor that is available for use during the ceremony. I am beyond thrilled with them and everything they provided for us!

The owner and staff are extremely caring. If you encounter any issues they are prompt and reliable in helping to resolve it. I truly loved this venue, it was gorgeous and our guests had a blast. Thank you to Ms. Rapier and her staff!!!

We had our wedding at The Lodge, and it was beautiful. You are pretty much on your own when it comes to vendors, but I liked having the endless options and flexibility to make our wedding fit us perfectly! Sharon was a great help and always quick to answer questions. It was a gorgeous day at a gorgeous venue!

This was absolutely the most perfect spot for our wedding - I'm SO happy we chose Lake Lyndsay! We had our ceremony and reception at The Lodge - we had about 250 guests (with extra tables so we didn't have to do seating arrangements), and food stations which filled out the extra space. Our pictures from the ceremony are SO BEAUTIFUL, with the lake in the background. For the reception, we wanted a rustic feel and this ended up being perfect. We worked with Sharon leading up to the wedding - she was so wonderful and very helpful and responsive. She went out of her way to be as accommodating as possible. Our day-of staff was wonderful, as well, and so helpful with the vendors. Overall, a GREAT experience. I would highly recommend Lake Lyndsay!!

LOVE LOVE LOVE. I can't tell you how grateful my husband and I were to have found this little gem. Sharon is just incredible and is there for you every step of the planning process. She went out of her way to make sure that all our questions were answered and that every detail was taken care of. The view is gorgeous and the decoration room was a big lifesaver, we didn't have to buy (or transport) any centerpieces or decorations. They allow you to bring in any outside vendor, which helped our budget enormously (no required caterer charging $100 a head... ) Our pictures turned out absolutely stunning, and all the guests raved about the venue. I would highly recommend Lake Lyndsay to every couple.

Oh my goodness, I cannot stop smiling from our BEAUTIFUL wedding at Lake Lyndsay - Kaylas Korner.
All of our guests could not stop raving about how beautiful the location was. We were blessed with nice weather for our wedding day, and the private gazebo in the back, over looking the lake made for some spectacular photos. The team at Lake Lyndsay is no nice and welcoming, they allowed us ample set up time, and checked in with us to ensure we had everything we wanted. The staff is genuinely attentive and involved with your wedding day. They want the best for you!
This venue is also wonderful, because they are like a blank slate and allow you to use whatever vendors you choose. Our wedding day was a hot day, and the air conditioning was perfect, everyone was comfortable.

I would STRONGLY recommend Lake Lyndsay to everyone, you will not be disappointed!

The Beach House at Lake Lyndsay was PERFECT. Great atmosphere and perfect weather. Lake Lyndsay was helpful throughout the planning process and gave a full time employee during the ceremony and reception.

I loved my wedding here. We had our ceremony and the reception at The Lodge. We had a beautiful outside wedding and a beautiful indoor reception. The atmosphere was awesome. They were so helpful and did everything they could to make my wedding day perfect. If I renew my vows one day, we will definitely be going back to where it all started!!! I was so happy with this location.

I am so happy we chose the Lodge at Lake Lyndsay for our wedding reception on August 8! It was absolutely perfect! It was so easy to work with everyone at Lake Lyndsay - they all seem to treat you like family. The Lodge, the lake, and the surrounding area is gorgeous - it made for great backgrounds in our pictures! I highly recommend checking out Lake Lyndsay.

I had seen the venues at Lake Lyndsay but never thought that I'd be able to afford having my wedding at that location. So we looked around at different locations that included everything and we were shocked to find out that some of those places were up to $12,000 and $15,000 just to have the venue and catering! So we decided to check out Lake Lyndsay and I'm so glad that I did because that's where we eventually ended up having our wedding ceremony and reception. It was reasonably priced and you rent out the location, the amount changes depending on the day and the location available (there are three different places to have your wedding). We chose Kayla's Korner so we could have it inside but we didn't have a large enough guest list to have the Lodge. You basically contract your own vendors for everything (catering, flowers, decorations, etc.) but I do think we ended up saving money going this route and everyone loved the venue location.

I LOVE Lake Lyndsay. It only took visiting the location once to make this the place to have not only reception but my ceremony as well. Lake Lyndsay offers 3 beautiful venues on their PRIVATE property. The view of the lake is just breath taking. What I loved the most about this site is that I had freedom to do what I wanted in every aspect of my wedding. I had the freedom to bring in what venders I wanted as well as bring in my own alcohol. The staff there was very thorough. I was able to meet on site multiple times prior to my event date. I highly recommend this venue to for everyone.

what a beautiful venue! Cathy was wonderful to work with and we had a staff member there for our entire wedding to help us with anything that we needed. The view of the lake was absolutely gorgeous. We had the wedding ceremony outside and the reception inside. This made the entire wedding so easy. We didn't have to worry about guests getting lost from the church to the reception venue. The pictures we had turned out beautifully with the landscaping and view. The staff were very flexible with allowing us to do certain things with permission to make our day special. I can't say enough about this than you!

Lake Lyndsay was fantastic from start to finish. They were so helpful and recommend great, easy to work with vendors. They took care of us on wedding day and help move the ceremony from outside to the veranda due to weather and the whole thing went off without a hitch. The grounds are beautiful and make for lovely pictures.

We used the Beach House on 9/13/14 and LOVED it! It provided an absolutely beautiful outdoor setting and it was everything we ever hoped for. Lake Lyndsay is a completely DIY type venue where you get a blank canvas and can bring in any vendor you like (or do it yourself). There are minimal restrictions on what you can or can't do. I loved the flexibility and Cathy was an absolute joy to work with. She provides great suggestions if you need them and will give you advice as if you were family. She actually talked me out of services that she felt would be a waste of our money.

One thing to keep in mind is you are truly on your own for setup/cleanup--including setting up tables, so make sure you budget in time or recruit help accordingly. Lake Lyndsay does have an option to do this at an extra charge, but we opted to do it ourselves.

Sharon was our point of contact for the day of and she was absolutely amazing! She is a total sweetheart and went above and beyond what she needed to do in order to make our lives easier.

I would recommend Lake Lyndsay to anyone looking for a beautiful place to hold an event, especially if you are into DIY or picky about your vendors! Thank you Cathy and Sharon for everything!

The Lodge at Lake Lyndsay was a perfect setting for my daughter's wedding. The staff at Lake Lynsday were wonderful to work with. From the cleaning people to the venue managers everyone was so pleasant and wonderful to work with. The lodge and the grounds are beautiful and I am so glad that we picked Lake Lyndsay for our daughter's wedding.

Lake Lyndsay was an excellent choice for a reception venue. The building inside and out is taken care of and allows for an elegant atmosphere in which to celebrate. Cathy is the perfect person to oversee the venues there and also make the customers feel welcome. The extra room that holds all necessary decorations that can be rented allows piece of mind- no running around to locate certain numbers of vases, mirror plates etc. Lyndsay allows you to bring in your own caterer which permits you to have a choice not be forced to use only who they have chosen. I would recommend this venue to anyone wanting to have a spacious and beautiful room for whatever they are celebrating!

Lake Lyndsay is incredible. The beautiful venues (combined with the best staff around) makes it the best wedding/event venue in the Cincinnati area. I highly recommend Lake Lyndsay! So unique and fun!

Seriously, this was the most perfect venue for a driveable destination wedding. I grew up wanting to get married on the beach, but knew that if I wanted my entire family to attend, the destination part wasn't going to happen. When we were researching venues, we decided to research what photographers had to say. One review said that this was the most beautiful place they ever photographed for a wedding. We knew immediately that we had to check out the Lodge. I called to set up a tour, and after the tour, we knew that we wanted the Lodge. I'm going to go ahead and say it had to be fate, because they had one Saturday left for the entire summer, and it happened to be my parents anniversary. Cathy was amazing to work with, and I loved that they supply the venue, table, and chairs, and we got to pick the rest. I've been to weddings where you have to use the venues caterer, florist, etc. By picking this venue, I got to plan my wedding my way, and I'm so glad we went with them. Our pictures turned out beautiful and the staff helped make this day perfect.

The Lodge at Lake Lyndsay was our venue! I loved it as soon as we arrived to take a tour! We changed our wedding date in order to have our wedding at Lake Lyndsay! The venue is beautiful inside and out and the staff are fabulous!

Loved it! I worked with Cathy when planning. She quickly responded to all my questions/concerns {which is a big deal as a bride}. L.L. was very open and easygoing with what my husband and I wanted to do as far as the caterer we had, how we wanted tables set up, indoor/outdoor decor, and so on. What I loved most is that Cathy was very straight-forward. She will tell you what is and isn't realistic as far as what you want to do with the venue and even with your budget... Trust me, her insight will save you SO much time and effort because you won't be trying to make impossible things happen! She has so much insight and will share so much knowledge if the bride is open to it.

We used Kayla's Korner. We had the ceremony outside on an October Friday and the reception afterwards. We used Lake Lyndsay's ceremony chairs and some decor in their decor room {added cost}. I was SO happy with what we got and did not feel as if we spent too much... The venue and the services we added were the biggest cost in our budget. I actually feel really good about the money spent at L.L. {and we had a VERY tight budget}.

Lake Lyndsay = No hassle. No wishy-washy rules, standards, or restrictions on their policy or stance on outside caterers. Beautiful venues {inside & out}. A great place to make your wedding your OWN--not what the venue wants so that they make more money off referrals!

Our event was at Kayla's Korner. This venu was beautiful and the staff was friendly and attentive. Cathy was wonderful to work with. She gave me ideas and tips. She returned all my calls and I never felt like I was bothering her or asking too many questions. Very professional and yet very down to earth. I would definitly use Lake Lyndsay again. The best decision I made for my wedding was having my venue at Lake Lyndsay. We used Kayla's Korner. Every employee we came in contact with was so nice and helpful. I booked them about a year in advance. Many times through out the year I had lots of questions arise, they quickly would answer my questions whether it was by phone call or email. They let me come look at my venue anytime I wanted during the week so I could map out how I wanted things. They let you use your own vendors but give you recommendations. Cathy was so helpful and so knowledgeable with everthing. She had lots of great recommendations. She helps you make a back up plan if your ceremony is outside and you have to move it inside due to bad weather. Kayla's Korner has lots of great options! They let me set up the tables how I wanted. I had my wedding on a Friday and they let me set up the whole day before. The venue was clean and beautiful and very kept up. The day of the wedding everything went smoothly. They have an employee there during the whole reception to make sure we don't need anything. The venue was absolutely gorgeous. We also had our ceremony there outside by the lake and it was everything I dreamed it would be!! Thank you Cathy and Lake Lyndsay for giving me a wonderful wedding!!!

Lake Lyndsay made my daughters wedding perfect! Thank you so much to Cathy, without you I would have been lost in quite a bit of the planning. It was so nice to be able to use the decorations room and have everything laid out for us! Also, your guidance in placing items and setting up the room greatly helped. I also want to give Meagan a big thank you, she was there to help out on Friday and help out she did, couldn't have pulled off the tables without you! I highly recommend this venue (we used the Lodge) to anyone who is looking for a romantic and beautiful setting. The wedding took place at the gazebo and then the Lodge had room for everything else. We had 205 people and the tables were set up so that there was room for everyone. There was space for a photo booth, appetizer table, candy table, cake table, water bottle table. The Buffet is served in a separate room. The DJ has a great stage and plenty of room on the dance floor. There is a wonderful bridal suite upstairs that has 2 full bathrooms, a kitchen, sitting area and a room with mirrors and plenty of space to complete hair & makeup. Our guest can't stop talking about the beauty of this venue!

This was hands down the best part of my wedding. My reception was at the Lodge and it was the PERFECT setting. There was plenty of space and a beautiful outdoor area on the lake for people to enjoy. I loved Lake Lyndsay because we were able to have complete freedom to do whatever we wanted to the space. While it seems like a lot of work up front (which it is) it saves A LOT of money and I believe my wedding was the best because we were able to be so creative with the space! Not only that, the ladies and Lake Lyndsay were beyond KIND AND LOVING!!! No matter the request they were 100% willing to go above and beyond to make that request happen. You also can have a super long reception which was something we really wanted. I also was able to get ready in the bridal suite upstairs which is a whole apartment!!! IT WAS AMAZING!!! I could go on for ages about how amazing this venue is and how everyone should use Lake Lyndsay!!!!

We got married at Kayla's Korner, and it was absolutely wonderful. We couldn't have picked a better venue for us. The staff was great, and always quick to respond to any questions or concerns I had. The dressing rooms were great...we spend the better half of thee day upstairs, doing our hair, getting ready, etc. I was very happy that we were able to bring our own caterer into the venue, rather than use on-site catering, like so many other places. The ceremony outside was beautiful, and the reception space was perfect. I loved the beautiful vaulted wooden ceilings, and all of the other great qualities of the building. We had about 130 people, and the size was perfect. The room wasn't too big, but we felt very close to family and friends without being cramped for space.

LL is a real DIY wedding venue, so you provide all the vendors, services, etc. We wanted to make our wedding unique, and not get stuck with any particular caterer or bar service, so we went with Lyndsay and have no regrets. The folks here were wonderful to work with, and very flexible. Kathy especially was especially kind and sweet to work with in setting up our big day.

We had the lake lyndsay lodge for our reception and it was absolutely perfect!!! We could not have asked for a better venue! Lake Lyndsay was absolutely beautiful and the best part about it was that we could do whatever we wanted with it--bring in our own caterer, alcohol, table cloths, chair covers, etc. It was a lot of work but as someone who likes to find the best deal and find vendors to my liking, this was wonderful. The workers are Lake Lyndsay was so accommodating and kind!! I must have called a billion times the week of the wedding and they were so patient and helpful. I loved my wedding reception.

Lake Lyndsay is amazing. The venue is beautiful and they let us do it exactly the way we wanted. The coordinator, Cathy, was wonderful. She answered all of my questions (and I had a lot lol) she helped us with vendors and was there when we set up. She really made us feel really special. We had an amazing wedding at Lake Lyndsay!! Our wedding took place May 18, 2013 at the Beach House. It began to rain about 10 minutes before out ceremony was suppose to take place but we waited the rain out and had the most amazing outside ceremony. The rain was a blessing because it was a very hot day and after the rain it was much cooler so please don’t worry if you are considering the venue for your outside wedding, it was perfect! The staff was amazing, Cathy was our coordinator and we LOVED her, she was so helpful and quick to respond to emails, phone calls, ect. It is also an awesome venue if you are a do it yourselfer! We created the entire decor for the reception and it looked amazing. Also, you can bring in friends to cater and/or bartend which cuts down on cost! It was simply amazing and I would recommend it to anyone!! I will post pictures as soon as I can!

I LOVE LAKE LYNDSAY! The location is absolutely gorgeous, the people are more than friendly, and the prices I thought were very reasonable! It does take a little work to make it "yours" but why would you want it any other way? They were more than accomodating to us, and even let us in early to decorate! I dont know what I would have done anywhere else, And they got us our deposit back very quickly! Lyndsay is one of the friendliest people Ive ever met and even stopped by just to chat! God love her! I reccomend her to everyone!

I have held several parties at Lake Lyndsay! I was so impressed with their attention to detail and customer service. The staff has always been super helpful and willing to go that extra mile. I had my wedding ceremony and my reception at the lodge and it exceeded all my standards. It was amazing walking down the stairs with my hubby to be waiting at the bottom. I also had my husband's 30th birthday party @ the beach house and it was an outstanding venue for an outside event. My husband I chose Lake Lyndsay for our Wedding Reception without any hesitation because of their professionalism. We loved the beautiful atmosphere and decor that the lodge provided for us and our guests. We had plenty of space to accomodate everyone. All of the vendors that were suggested by Lynn and Lyndsay were fabulous, especially Hilvers Catering! They were also wonderful in helping us with the decorating and allowing us to use the property for our photo's. I feel like we got a great price for our wedding reception and for all that it included compared to what most places charge and I highly recommend Lake Lyndsay to others for their special day!

I had my wedding ceremony and reception at Kayla's Korner, the smaller lodge at Lake Lyndsay, and loved it. The wedding was outside at the gazebo, I couldn't have had a prettier place or day. Lyndsay was very helpful with any details I needed. She knows the tricks of her trade. Being able to bring in outside vendors for food, etc. helps you be able to control how much you want to spend! Lake Lyndsay made our overall wedding experience worry free and something to remember for a lifetime. I highly recommend anyone looking to for a ceremonial, or reception venue to check out Lake Lyndsay. There are multiple buildings to choose from that are equally beautiful, no matter what time of year it is. We checked it out in the fall and got married the next summer, and both times it was amazing. Customer serivice was outstanding, and any question or problem we had they took care of with no questions, in a timely manner. If you are wanting to have a wedding/reception with memories for a lifetime this is the place. Out of all the places we looked at, no one came close to the professionalism as Lake Lyndsay.

I had my reception at the lodge at Lake Lyndsay. It is absolutely beautiful! The lake is the perfect background for a wedding and a reception. I have also been to events at Kayla's Corner and the beach house, both of which are equally beautiful. While you do have to get your own caterer, it was worth it for my husband and I. Hearing all of our guests say how beautiful the lodge and our reception were was totally worth it! The staff was very professional and helped us every step of the way, including recommending caterers and florists. If anyone is considering Lake Lyndsay for their wedding and/or reception, you should do it. You won't regret it!

i used lake lyndsay for my reception and LOVED it! my reception was in the main lake lyndsay lodge (there are 2 other smaller venues that are beautiful, too) the venue is gorgeous and the staff was so helpful. my caterer didn't bring enough tablecloths and lake lyndsay generously came out to help with the situation when they didn't have to. we were allowed to come in and get ready ahead of time. the value was great and it held all of my guests comfortably. the layout is flexible and easy to adjust to your needs. also, my pictures turned out great there.

There is no other reception venue comparable!! From the gorgeous candle-lit interior, huge inviting fireplace, ample dance floor, cascading staircase, picture-perfect outdoor gazebo and lake backdrop, excellent decoration selection, and impressive customer service - any bride to pass over Lake Lyndsay Lodge is insane! We worked with Lyndsay from Lake Lynsday Lodge on the coordination of all of our reception details. She is wedding go-to person, and helped us coordinate SO many details including catering linens/buffet services, DJ suggestions, decoration ideas, wedding favors, flowers, etc. The venue itself is absolutely gorgeous, and when we walked in to over 400 candles lit around the room casting such a romantic glow on everything, I felt like I was walking into Cinderella's ball... it was so perfect. It was the reception of my dreams only more wonderful than I could have ever imagined...

I had my wedding and reception at The Beach House on August 27th. Ill start off by saying that everything that could have went wrong that day did. We had all the decorations set up, including linens, etc by about 1:30. Around 2 pm a horrific storm passed threw, and literally destroyed the tent (it collapsed). Candles on the tables were broken glass was everywhere, linens had flown off the tables and chairs, wine glasses broken. Some of the decorations had been saved, but a lot were destroyed. With this said, as soon as the storm was over, Lake Lyndsay immediately jumped in and called in a bunch of people to come help clean up. With the help of their staff, my bridal party, and family members, the wedding was able to happen on time, and it still turned out beautiful. However, our original plan on having the reception under the tent was ruined, and we were forced to have the reception under the pavillion (which was originally our dance floor). I was dissapointed the tent could not be fixed that day, and that is the only reason I gave a 4/5 starts. However, Lake Lyndsay was very helpful in trying to fix the situation...altogether it was a gorgeous wedding and I do not regret having my wedding here. All night people complimented on how gorgeous it was there.

Absolutely gorgeous venue! We hosted our wedding ceremony and reception at the lodge and it was a perfect experience. Throughout the planning process, the staff would periodically check in to make sure everything was going well with planning and readily available to offer advice on vendors. The venue provides you with a "day -of coordinator," but I would call her more of a "make sure nothing gets broken or gets too out of hand" person. She wasn't around for much of the wedding day, which is fine, I was just confused about her role because of the association with the word "coordinator." Besides that small snafu - which wasn't even a snafu - we spent the entire day at the lodge getting ready - there is a giant apartment upstairs with a full kitchen, two showers, a seating area, and a separate space for hair, makeup, and getting dressed. This space easily made the day go better and I wouldn't change it for the world. The venue is easily accessible and you don't need to do much to dress up the space. We had the dinner buffet catered by our vendor of choice (no restrictions there) and were able to provide the alcohol for our bar as long as we brought/ hired a licensed bartender. This saved so much money! The main space of the lodge is huge and we comfortably sat 190 guests, had an appetizer bar, enjoyed having the buffet line in a separate room, organized an extra seating space, photobooth, and bar. And I know this is random, but the bathrooms are really nice, too. The entire venue is just stunning. If you haven't been to see it - consider it. If you are on the edge - book it! Lake Lyndsay has three separate venue locations and they are all beautiful, but I am absolutely in love with the lodge location. Oh, and if this is your venue of choice, consider going for a ride to the back side of the lake (there is a path that fits a car) and take pictures. There is a gorgeous wall of honeysuckle and was probably one of the most memorable adventures of the day.

We chose this venue because of the awesome outdoor ceremony location and large indoor reception space. The staff at lake lyndsay is super helpful. You can't beat the DIY options. I loved that they were always checking in on us during set up and even helped us out when we had trouble with one of our vendors. The guests all commented on how beautiful this venue is. I couldn't have asked for a better location!

We chose the Lake Lyndsay Beach House and are SO happy we did. This venue is absolutely stunning and sits right off the water. So, as far as looks go, this is a no brainer if you want your guests to enjoy a unique setting. The one thing I didn't really understand right away is that this venue basically includes nothing, just the venue itself and enough tables and chairs for 200 (which is awesome). But if you have a wedding with 200 guests, those chairs will need to be set up for the ceremony, and unless you want your guests to move them to around the tables, you still need to rent 200 more, which they provide for $1.50 each. Also, the price does not include any decorations, catering, lighting (besides the lights in the actual venue, but none in tent), or wedding planner. All that being said, I am still so happy we chose this location. The price was decent (but again, didn't include much...but was still worth it) and the setting was really priceless. It is such a huge location as well....your guests will be able to roam around the huge venue all night!
As far as the staff at LL, they were great. We pretty much worked soley with Sharon and she was awesome! She was always willing to meet up if we wanted to stop by the venue, gave us ideas and even company contacts for decorations she'd seen at other weddings there, and responded to emails very quickly. She was great to work with!

I couldn't have picked a better location to have my ceremony and reception. Everything was beautiful and perfect. Pricey but what isn't with a wedding? Only thing I would have to complain about is that ceremony chairs are not included in the $500 ceremony fee. You literally get a blank gazebo with zero decor and chairs are available to rent seperately at an additional $400+..this is after you've already paid $5000 for the reception hall (LODGE)...also with no decor...very pleased though! So happy I chose to have our special day at Lake Lyndsay

We had the perfect weather as the backdrop to our perfect wedding ceremony and reception. We were able to bring in all of our own vendors to create the atmosphere we wanted. Everyone at Lake Lyndsay, especially Cathy!, were extremely nice and easy to talk with. All of our questions, concerns, and comments were always addressed in a timely fashion. Lake Lyndsay is a great option if you want to have a wedding that feels more personalized. It has a private feel and you have more control of the “details” of the ceremony/reception. It can be a lot more work. You will need to hire separate outside vendors for everything. I have to admit that this was a little overwhelming to manage. I also think it’s a little overpriced for renting just the space. That being said, It was worth every penny and every minute of planning! We were married at Kayla’s Korner and loved everything about our day and evening. I loved that we had exclusive use of our building for the entire day. There was no need to run around for hair and make-up. We simply brought lunch and spent the entire day enjoying our time together. The gazebo, front walkway, and inside are stunning. At night they look especially beautiful. If you’re willing to do a little more work planning details yourself, Lake Lyndsay is a great option!

Lake Lyndsay was a perfect venue for our ceremony & reception. Lyndsay was super helpful throughout the planning process, especially allowing us to walk back through Kayla's Korner multiple times to plan for decor and set-up. The representatives were especially helpful the day of not only made sure everything went as planned but helped us gather things up at the end and displayed extraordinary kindness to the wedding party and all guests throughout the event. Definitely recommend!

Lake Lyndsay is a lovely venue for a wedding and it made our experience unforgettable. The Lodge, although a little large for the size of the wedding (minimum seating 250 - we had 180), at the suggestion of Lyndsay, we took away a chair or two from the tables and with all the decor, it was just fine. Lots of room and we had several options for the guests to move around - candy bar, photo wall, dance floor, seating area with couches/chairs around the fireplace so guests could watch photo wall and dance floor while waiting or just chatting. You didn't feel crowded into a banquet room as is often the case in many venues. The windows looking out over the lake, the porch - everything felt so spacious and comfortable.

My daughter was married at The Beach House on June 8, 2012. We had many out of town guests and everyone raved about the beauty of the location. The staff is easy to work with and flexible. They have rules, as any owner should to maintain the facilities for the public, but they are not unreasonable. Their recommendations on vendors were great and we were free to choose who we used, a big plus on a small budget. We looked at a lot of venues before deciding and feel we made the best choice.

I had a beautiful fall wedding in the main lodge, it was the perfect setting, although it would be perfect in any season. Lyndsay was very helpful and her attention to detail was much appreciated. It was so nice to be able to use all of your own vendors, it really made the entire event come together exactly how we had hoped! The size of the lodge makes it roomy enough not to step on each other's toes, but the interior decor makes it cozy and inviting! I would recommend it for sure!

I held my ceremony and reception at Kayla's Corner on the Lake Lyndsay property. This is an absolutely gorgeous setting for a wedding. Lyndsay was very helpful when a couple of things went wrong the day of the wedding. She was on the phone helping me find someone to bring in chair sashes that my linen company did not bring. I would highly recommend this venue for your special day. It is a little pricey, but worth it.

Beautiful place! We got many great pictures. Lyndsay is great to work with and met with us multiple times about questions. Her aunt that was there the night of the wedding was AMAZING! She helped us we got pictures taken, took pictures for us in the limo, etc... She definitely went the extra mile ALL night long to help out and make sure things went perfectly. If I have a complaint, it's just that it is very expensive for what you get. The only thing you get is the place with tables and chairs. Any type of decorations is extra. So, if you are looking for a place that has everything included, this is not the place for you. But if you are looking for some place gorgeous that stands out among other reception sites....this is it!

This is a beautiful venue for a wedding! They treated us like family from the moment we met the managers. We were thrilled to find such a large venue with a beautiful patio and view of water! They were very friendly and helpful and treat every bride like a family member!

Lake lyndsay was our number one choice. We wanted a place that would let us customize everything to what we wanted. The venue was spotless and we even had it all day Thursday so we didn't have to rush friday to get everything done. I wish they would strongly suggest people for cleanup. Our vendor was a family friend and left way before we were cleaning up. It's not the most fun to clean up in your wedding dress at 1am!!! Also we were unable to rehearse inside because they were not there to unlock the doors so when it rained on our wedding day we had to wing it.

We used the Beach House at Lake Lyndsay's for my daughters Wedding Ceremony and Reception. One reason we picked it was because it provides a beautiful setting for an outdoor wedding and/or reception even if it rains. We ended up with exceptionally beautiful weather for an Aug wedding. This allowed us to use the large patio for the wedding under a canopy, the reception tables under the main building and the bar and horderves on the smaller patio. We actually used the gazbo for the horderves since we did not use it for the wedding ceremony. There is so many ways you can set up this venue to make it unique for your special event. Lyndsay was extremely easy to work with and also very helpful. Her perferred vendors list was also very helpful since the Beach House is a "do it yourself venue" and many extras needed to be rented. I would definitely suggest any of the venues at Lake Lyndsay for your special event.

Lake Lyndsay is a beautiful setting any time of year. We found Lake Lyndsay because we wanted to use our own caterer and bring in our own alcohol.
Once we saw Lake Lyndsay, we were impressed with the views, the friendly staff and the flexibility of the space. We had our ceremony indoors in November and then the reception immediately following. It worked wonderfully! Our guests only had to drive to and find one place and Lake Lyndsay Lodge is large enough to accommodate our 240 guests for the ceremony and reception without any difficulty. we also had some great outdoor pictures on the property.
I strongly recommend Lake Lyndsay for a perfect wedding setting.

Lake Lyndsay was truly an amazing venue. Not only was it affordable, but we were able to select our own decorations and caterer since extra items like that are not included here. The views and photo opportunities are breathtaking here. I only had two complaints: 1- since there are 3 venues on the property, some guests had a hard time finding the place even though the name of the building was on the invite and there were signs guiding them. 2- we found out the week before the ceremony that the company next door would be having a large machinery auction going on during the wedding and as a result we had machinery in part of the backdrop of the ceremony outdoors even though we were told this would not happen. Otherwise, the staff are awesome and the venue is affordable and beautiful.

Lake Lyndsay was perfect in everyway!!!! They were easy to work with, very helpful, and the place is amazing. The only low rating I gave them was Value for Cost and this was simply because the cost is quite high and all you get is an empty building. But don't let this deter you!!!!! If you are willing to do all the leg work then this place is awesome!!!!!

Lake Lyndsay is GORGEOUS! My husband and I had fallen in love with the Beach House, and new that was where we wanted to get married. Ofcourse mother nature had some other ideas, and flooded it a couple of weeks before the wedding. They gave us the option of switching to Kaylas Corner...but we prayed for the Beach House, and it worked out. Lyndsay always kept in touch, and the contract was easy enough to understand. Also, some of her event advice was invaluable.

Lake Lyndsay is absolutely beautiful. I had my wedding and reception there. I had my wedding outside on the lake. I also rented all decorations from them, for outside and inside. It was so convenient to rent everything from there and then not have to worry about having someone take everything down and store them somewhere. Everytime I needed to meet with someone to see the place they were very flexible. I had my wedding on a Firday because they offer a $1000 cheaper price on Friday. It was the most expensive part of my wedding, but it was worth it.

I was very happy with our decision to use the Lodge at Lake Lyndsay for my daughter's wedding ceremony and reception! They were very easy to work with, and very helpful. We really appreciated the flexibility we had by using their space. Yes, it can be a lot of DIY, but if you pick good vendors like we did, we actually didn't HAVE to do too much ourselves. The ceremony was stunning, and the reception so much fun!! The Lodge is a very large space. We had 230 guests and still had room to have our food stations out in the main area with enough spare room to not make it feel crowded. I was also very happy with our decision to have the wedding on a Friday night. It is significantly cheaper, and we were able to have access to the space all day Thursday and Friday! (Be aware that if your wedding is on Saturday and there is a wedding Friday night, you have to have your rehearsal Thursday- and you only have Saturday to decorate!) All in all, it was a very positive experience, and I would highly recommend Lake Lyndsay!

We got married at the Lodge at Lake Lyndsay. We were one of the first people to book for the year and they were great about making that happen. Lake Lyndsay is a beautiful place for a fall wedding, and they were easy to work with on changes throughout the planning process. It is always advantageous to be able to chose any vendor and pretty much do what you want with the space. I was a little disappointed that they didn't give us first dibs on rehearsal times on Thursday, even though we were the wedding for Friday. Also, the clean-up crew was a little rude at the end of the night. For as much as you spend for a venue, it would be nice to not have to take out your own trash and not be greeted by disgruntled employees. Overall, we were very happy with our venue choice.

I had my wedding at Lake Lyndsay. I loved the fact that we could hire our own caterer and be able to shop around for a better priced option. This was basically a do-it-yourself venue, all the set up and cleaning is done by you. This worked in our favor, because we could save money. Lake Lyndsay is a beautiful location for any event, especially a wedding! Any of the three locations of the property are beautiful, you can't go wrong with any of them.

My wedding was at the beach house and it ended up being absolutely beautiful! The Beach House is an outside setting so thank goodness the weather worked in our favor. Everything was absolutely perfect and I am so happy with my wedding!! I do have a few piece of advice for couples looking at the beach house: 1. It's WINDY! It doesn't matter what day you get, it's extremely windy which makes setup really difficult. 2. You do EVERYTHING yourself. Be prepared. Recruit as many helpers as possible for set up the day of. The wind made it very difficult to set up. Also recruit as many helpers as possible to take down at the end of the night. You have one hour to clean up. 3. The chairs that are provided are not in good shape so if you're having even a little bit of a formal wedding, be prepared to pay extra for nice chairs. 4. Go to the venue prior to the wedding and record where the sun is at what times. We ended up having the sun beaming down on our kegs ect. Other than that the staff is pretty nice and organized for the most part. I am 100% satisfied with how my wedding turned out!!

I have had 4 weddings at this venue, it is a beautiful place to get married at and have your reception . In the past I have always dealt with Lyndsay and she is fantastic, her parents are great also. This time i dealt with Cathy and struggled with working with her.I would highly recommend this place but working wit the new event planner Cathy isn't so easy. No where as friendly as Lyndsay or as helpful, seems to busy and always needs to call you back instead of having answers then.
