We highly recommend the Lakehouse as a wedding venue. It is truly a hidden gem and our guests continued to rave about how amazing the site is. Nicole, Cory, Trina, and the rest of the staff did such an amazing job for us leading up to the wedding and continued to do so during our wedding weekend. They are beyond helpful and attentive. You won't regret booking your wedding here.

We cannot recommend the Berkshire Lake House and Guest Cottages enough for a wedding weekend! Nicole, Cory, Michelle and Trina worked seamlessly as a team to help our wedding weekend go smoothly. We got married on what was predicted to be a rainy weekend and instead the weather was incredibly changeable - down pouring at times and sunny at other times - and the team just flexibly moved things around according to the weather. They all had a calm and joyful attitude the whole weekend. It goes without saying that the venue is unbelievably gorgeous and our guests had simply the best time. If you want a weekend wedding where you really get to make it your own, look no further!! We would choose this venue all over again (and may actually go back for anniversaries).

Our experience here for our wedding was absolutely extraordinary! From the beginning stages of planning to the full out execution the staff here was fantastic and the location was absolutely stunning! Several guests commented on it being the best wedding they have ever attended! This is truly a hidden gem and I would go back there in a heartbeat just to stay and visit. We could not have asked for a more amazing wedding weekend venue. The LHGC’s took care of our venue needs for our Friday welcome BBQ, Saturday ceremony/cocktail hour/reception, and our Sunday farewell brunch. Nicole, the venue’s main coordinator, was so helpful and on the ball throughout the entire planning process. She was working behind the scenes all weekend to make sure everything went smoothly from start to finish with our incoming vendors for all of our events. She also worked closely with us to make our ceremony processional spectacular, making sure I walked down the aisle at the precise moment in the song that I envisioned. I really appreciated all of the attention to detail. Cory and Trina were the main points of contact with set up/clean up throughout the weekend, and they were a joy to work with as well. The venue is magical and beautiful, and there really isn’t anything you could be left wanting. Our guests loved the “cottages” - they are more like incredibly maintained and updated large houses. The on-site tent and dance floor were included in the pricing, as well as access to the venue for the whole weekend with the outdoor furniture/kitchens/lounge areas/tables and chairs/linens. The lake created the perfect backdrop for our wedding weekend. If you want magic, definitely book your wedding at the LHGC’s. We will be cherishing these memories forever.

Everything we envisioned for our wedding was PERFECT. Having our wedding at the LHGC was the best decision. It was absolutely amazing not only our wedding day, but the whole weekend. Our guests, both staying on and offsite were in love with the entire property and were so sad to leave, as were we. All our guests can't stop talking about this venue. It is truly memorable.

The property itself is incredible from the view to the details in all of the cottages. The staff was incredible during our weekend stay and made sure everything was in order throughout the wedding day. Our main wedding coordinator Kelsey was so easy, helpful, and professional to work with. She made the wedding planning process so enjoyable. The property care takers were super attentive and welcoming. They made sure our weekend stay was comfortable and were all so genuine and kind!

The Lake House is truly a special place. We will definitely be back here in the future and we are pretty sure someone at our wedding will be looking to have an event here.

I can't say enough good things about this venue! It is breathe taking and the staff is super helpful/friendly! All the house are so beautiful and new! They are all decorated so well and it was awesome to have all my wedding guests in one place all weekend! The staff took all the stress off of me the whole weekend of my wedding! My wedding was perfect and I couldn't have asked for a better day! Would highly recommend this place!

I don't know where to begin because absolutely everything about this venue was perfect!! I cannot emphasize enough how fantastic this venue is and how lucky I feel to have found it and had my wedding there. Our families really did join thanks to this venue and the wonderful people who work there.

On-site coordinator: Kelsey is the event coordinator for the LHGC and she is AMAZING. She helped coordinate every detail and answered all my questions quickly and kindly. I must have emailed Kelsey a million times and she was always helpful, responsive, and warm. Not only did she assist with every step of planning the wedding, but she also worked the entire weekend too, helping with whatever we needed and ensuring the whole wedding went smoothly. I sincerely cannot recommend Kelsey enough.

The venue: Stunning. We held all of our events on site- our welcome party, wedding, and day after brunch. Each party felt unique and special because of the many locations you can use. Our guests could not stop commenting on what a beautiful venue we had found. We were also able to have our entire family stay on site, which meant fun breakfasts together, seeing kids playing on the lawn, and family members from both sides jumping in the paddleboat or going for a hike. Our families really did join together because they were able to spend relaxed quality time together throughout the weekend.

The caretaker: Cory is the on-site caretaker who lives there and helps out with everything. Just like Kelsey, he couldn't have been kinder or more helpful. From keeping the property looking beautiful to helping guests figure out the outdoor fire pits, Cory was always there to help. He and Kelsey are an amazing team and I feel like this review won't do them justice because they made our weekend perfect and I owe them so much for that.
