Best makeup artist, seriously!

Amanda was absolutely amazing as a bridal make up artist! She did the makeup for my cousin’s wedding a few years ago, and I reached out to her after seeing the full range of looks on her Instagram page - I really liked that she could go from very subtle, natural looks to full glam and color. She listened to exactly what I wanted for the three looks (yay big Indian weddings!), and my BFF said it best: “You really just looked breathtaking and exactly like yourself at the same time all weekend.”
I was very impressed with Amanda’s skills and would not hesitate to recommend her as an artist! I also really appreciated how accommodating she was about my sensitive skin and eczema, using my own products and making adjustments for my allergic reactions. She was a breeze to work with in terms of scheduling test runs, she was very Covid-conscious which I appreciated, and finally she didn’t even get upset when I was super late to our first session (though I don’t recommend that)!
All in all, I had a great experience working with her and would highly, highly recommend her services. Thank you again, Amanda!!

Amazing experience from start to finish

I had an amazing experience working with Lace Cosmetics. Firstly, they were extremely professional, responsive, and considerate - to all my questions, inquiries, and concerns! The price quotes were reasonable, which also put my mind at ease. And in addition to being wonderful to work with, I absolutely loved my makeup. It lasted ALL NIGHT - over 12 hours - and I didn't touch up anything apart from my lipstick. I have never before had a professional makeup experience that amazing! Not to mention the makeup itself was incredible, and I loved how Amanda made me look. She was such a pleasure to work with, and we all felt comfortable with her - including my mom, who got her makeup done for the first time and was sufficiently nervous! I would highly recommend booking with Lace Cosmetics. I've been in a lot of weddings over the years, and my experience with Amanda was the best one yet!

Talented and Delightful

Amanda did my makeup for my wedding in June - after two reschedules. She was so gracious and flexible and BRAVE for being willing to join me and my bridesmaids during Covid. She did an amazing job and was delightful in the process. Very friendly yet professional. She also did my niece's makeup and she looked stunning! I would hire her again in a heartbeat. An Absolute Joy

First off, Amanda was a delight. She was on-time and had an extensive array of products to suit the needs of each person. She asked everyone a couple questions about their own style at the start, so though we (as bridesmaids) needed a somewhat similar look, the makeup was tailored to each person's taste as needed.

It is not easy to try and arrange all of this during a pandemic, but Amanda was so clean and careful about making sure was no cross-contamination. She was conscientious about her own mask wearing so though we, obviously, couldn't wear a mask as she applied makeup, we were comfortable and kept safe.

Unlike some MUA I've worked with before, she never makes you feel like she's in a rush or like she's giving anyone any less attention. She gave everyone's look the same amount of care, and that's so appreciated on a day when so many photos are taken.

She's an excellent conversation and so comfortable to talk to. I'd gladly sit in her makeup chair again! I highly recommend her services to anyone needing a makeup artist.

Best make up experience yet

Amanda was simply wonderful. She was knowledgeable and made me feel comfortable, especially after a bad make up trial. The trial went great and the wedding make up was even better. The few changes I asked for were perfect and my make up lasted ALL night, even throughout my happy tears! No matter what I did the make up didn’t move. I received many complements and I felt so confident and beautiful all day thanks to Amanda and Lace cosmetics. ❤️

I’ve worked with Amanda 3 times now! The first time at my sister in laws wedding, then mine, and most recently my best friends wedding. She’s so good that everyone in our circle keeps hiring her. Wonderful!

Amanda was/is the perfect makeup artist. She has done several other weddings I’ve either attended or directly participated. She is very punctual and professional and flexible m, if there are any special requests, as she is working on her clients. Although, I’m sure it didn’t hurt that I was a little anal and very organized.. lol.

She is very communicative and provides all details upfront with a signed contract and extremely patient if you have any or multiple questions (like I did 😀). She is able to do makeup for all skin tones - which was very important for my wedding party and she did an excellent job. Amanda is highly recommended for your wedding or special event needs. I can’t wait to be pampered again!

Created the Perfect Look for Make-up Novice Bride

If you are considering hiring Amanda, just go ahead and book her! I am a bride with little to no knowledge of makeup or how to describe what I want, but she took what little I could give her and turned it into exactly what I wanted. The color palette she created blended in perfectly with the setting, feel, and colors of the wedding. She also did my mom (who is extremely picky), and she loved her look too! We are both very pale people who have a hard time finding foundation that matches, but my mom said that Amanda matched me better than she had ever seen. Amanda was very professional when working with the wedding coordinator and hairstylist. She arrived on time and responded to emails quickly. She was also very sweet to work with and very calm during our hectic (and super early) morning. I can't recommend her enough; book her already!

Beautiful makeup, happy bride!

Amanda was a pleasure to work with from day one. I was a little nervous for the trial as I'm not one to wear a lot of makeup but I felt at ease instantly when I met her. She's warm and welcoming and definitely knows her stuff. My makeup on the wedding day was flawless. A few of my bridesmaids (who have been in many weddings) kept saying that this was their all-time favorite makeup for a wedding. My mom was also very happy with her makeup. Definitely recommend Amanda!

I received Amanda's name from the women who was doing my hair for the wedding. I wanted to have a hair and makeup person that new how to tag team getting everyone ready in a short time frame. I used Amanda for makeup at both my engagement pictures and wedding. I cannot say enough good things about her! She was so professional and really listed to what everyone wanted at the wedding. We all wanted to look natural. My mom had never had her makeup done so she was nervous, but Amanda did a great job making her feel beautiful and like herself. She also did well with my 12 year old brides made who has never worn makeup before. The trial she did we me was great, she listened to my concerns with what types of foundation work best on my skin and really wanted to make sure I was happy with how my makeup would look on my wedding day. I highly recommend her and would use her again anytime I need my makeup done!

Flawless!!

I first met Amanda when I was in my friend's wedding in January 2019. She did my makeup (along with the whole bridal party). I felt SO beautiful and it wasn't even for my wedding day. Amanda was SO easy to talk to and very personable. She definitely knows what she's doing. She is so talented. So fast-forward to my wedding day (4/28/19) - I knew I ONLY wanted Amanda to do my makeup. There were a few changes in venue and she was completely willing to go wherever I needed her to. She was quick to respond to my emails and even showed up early to setup. After she finished my makeup, she handed me the mirror and I felt transformed. I felt STUNNING. Exceptional work and joy to work with!

I just want to start off by saying how talented Amanda is!! She did an stunning job on my bridal make up and professional spray tan for my wedding! She is not only talented, but an amazing person to work with. My spray tan turned out beautifully. It wasn't too dark and looked like a real tan with out any streaks or splotches! Of course I knew I was going to cry and she gave me tips on how to wipe my tears with out ruining my make up. After crying, laughing, picture after picture, dancing the night away, my makeup lasted the all day long! I have no doubt you will be more than happy with her work!

Amanda was AWESOME to work with! She consulted with me initially about my style, and then talked me through her application, step by step. She started light and sort of "built up" (darker shade of eye shadow) over time. The result was a very light feeling, effortless, classic look. I actually tried someone else first but came away from the experience feeling like my face was painted on and I couldn't crack a smile else the top coat may break! Amanda's job was the exact opposite of that. Plus she's super nice and fun to chat with. I highly recommend!

I had the absolute best experience with Amanda. My trial was such a breeze. She was wonderful at taking my lack of vision and knowledge about makeup, and turning it into the wedding look of my dreams! Fast forward to my wedding day, and I had gotten a giant bug bite on my forehead during the week (because, why not). Amanda was absolutely incredible. She took the time to get to know my personal style, asked lots of questions, and gave me EXACTLY what I asked for. After my initial makeup trial, I changed my mind about a couple things and communicated those with her. She made notes, and executed those changes perfectly on my wedding day. Amanda is all of the above! She is very well organized, punctual, professional, and of course talented! Her services are top notch at an affordable price. I was so extremely lucky to have Amanda recommended to me last minute. The woman I had scheduled for hair and makeup accidentally took me off her schedule, due to some miscommunication. I had to find someone last minute! The ceremony was on a Monday which was my saving grace, but Amanda did not hesitate and was so amazing. We talked once and sent a couple emails back and forth. She was so knowledgable and professional I could not have asked for someone better for the most exciting day of my life. Everything was perfect! Having worked with Amanda as a vendor made it an EASY choice when I needed an artist for my daughter's wedding. Actually...there was no other choice in my mind. My daughter looked radiant, but what she did for me was nothing short of a miracle. Having only slept 10 hours that week I looked ragged and my skin was showing it, but not in any picture...THANK YOU AMANDA!!!

Amanda was so great to work with! She listened to what I wanted and truly made me feel like the best version of myself for my big day! I always feel bad for saying I don't like something, but Amanda wanted to hear what I liked and what I didn't and made me feel so comfortable asking to change some things at the trial and then did exactly what I had asked for the wedding! She's great and you will not get anyone better!

Amanda was absolutely wonderful! She did everything in a timely fashion and was very flexible! Amanda provided me with plenty of options and recommendations as to what would look good with my dress and my hair/eye color (I was the farthest thing from a Pinterest bride with basically no pictures or ideas as to what I wanted); Amanda also worked really well with my bridesmaid who came in with pictures and ideas as to what she wanted her makeup to look like. She was so pleasant to be around it felt like having your best friend do your makeup! She provided me with extra lip stick and my makeup never melted or smeared the whole wedding and reception! She did a tremendous job on my junior bridesmaid's makeup by not making her look overly made up for a 9 year old and not making her look too childish either! She was available on a short notice and really amazed all of us!

Absolutely loved working with Amanda! She was attentive to my vision and was an absolute joy to be around. Very responsive with communication and timely on the wedding day. Amanda was an absolute gem. Planning any wedding, especially an Indian wedding, is tough and it is so important to have vendors by your side that you can count on and get along with. From our first make up trial to the wedding day, Amanda was always responsive, picked up on my style right away, and a delight to spend time with. She kept me calm the morning of the wedding and was always on time and patient as our schedule often changed throughout the weekend. My mom and sister also had their makeup done by her and they loved the outcome-- subtle but bold at the same time. She is absolutely amazing and I would highly recommend using her for your big day if you are looking for someone that you can 100% depend on.

Amanda was incredible! She made me feel like a friend from the start, and not only that, she made me both feel and look beautiful for my big day. I even had a moment with my new mother-in-law which brought us both to tears. Amanda was nice and gracious enough to do a touchup for me due to the tears! I would recommend Amanda to any of my friends who are in need of a MUA for their wedding.

Amanda was AMAZING! My practice run was super and she photographed me so that she could replicate the same look the day of the wedding. She was early on our wedding morning and made everyone in the wedding party look incredible. I'd use her for ANY event where I needed makeup.

Amanda was incredible! So great to chat with but also did the perfect natural makeup. I used her for my airbrush makeup and it was matte but very very natural looking. It turned out flawless in pictures and stayed all night in the 100 degree heat on our wedding night in July! CANNOT say enough great things about Amanda and Lace cosmetics.

Amanda was so great to work with from start to finish. She was very accommodating for my trial run as I live out of town. She was happy to schedule a time and place that worked best for me that was convenient for my travel schedule. On the day of the wedding she arrived on time and ready to go! She worked with my hair stylist and planner to make sure me and my girls stayed on schedule. She listened to what I wanted in regards to my look, and delivered! And did the same for my bridesmaids. I looked and felt amazing on my wedding day.

I still cannot get over how beautiful I looked and felt on my wedding day. I can honestly say that Amanda made me more beautiful than I have ever felt, seen or imagine myself in my entire life. Every bride hopes to look her best and Amanda made that wish come true for me. I wish I could hire her as my personal make up artist so I could look that amazing everyday. Getting in touch with Amanda to inquire about her services was so easy and she was accommodating and kind right from the start. At our makeup trial, I had no idea what kind of look I wanted. I only knew I wanted a more natural look. She worked her magic with little to no instructions. She knew exactly how to highlight my features perfectly. Afterwards, I wasn't sure at first because I had never seen myself with a full fresh face. I thought at first it was too much makeup only because I hardly wear makeup on a daily basis. After the trial, I went and ran several errands. I felt noticed by strangers . They would smile, give second glances, and even make small conversation. Several selfies later at home, I finally got used to seeing myself and I felt so confident in how I looked. I emailed Amanda and told her immediately that I didn't want change anything from my trial since i had originally told her do a little less makeup. On the day of my wedding, Amanda was early to set up at the venue. It is so hard for me to just sit there and do nothing but get pampered when everyone else was getting stuff ready. Amanda helped calmed my nerves and was so fun and sweet. She was very quick to also help out any way she could. The final look was even better than I remembered from the trial. I was so pleased. I felt stunning and flawless. She even gave me a little survival kit for makeup touches throughout the wedding. I cannot wait to work with Amanda again! I know I will definitely be acquiring her services for upcoming date nights and other special occasions.

Amanda did a great job on my make-up on my wedding day! I was an out of state bride, so I didn't have a trial run, but she was able to give me the exact look I was going for. She was very accommodating to my schedule (early morning make-up plus touch-up later in the day), and the make-up lasted all day!

Amanda is the bomb.com, and if you don't hire her to design your bridal makeup, then I really just don't know what you're doing with your life. Seriously, it's almost not even worth getting married without her there. From the very first email exchange, she was responsive, warm, professional, and already treating me like a new friend. At my trial appointment, she listened to what I wanted, and made the necessary adjustments when the vision in my head didn't exactly match what was coming out of my mouth. She just got it, and gave me the soft, romantic, "I swear I just woke up looking this fabulous" face I had requested. On my actual wedding day, she arrived early and helped make the morning relaxed and fun. One by one, I watched her transform my already naturally beautiful bridesmaids into heavenly goddesses, and she even managed to please my mom (a tough customer!) with a fresh-faced, unmatronly Mother-of-the-Bride glow :). Her prices and payment options were reasonable, and worth every penny. I felt totally comfortable and confident in Amanda's capable hands, and I couldn't imagine a more perfect look for my wedding day!

Amanda is amazing to work with! She has the most awesome personality and creates amazing looks. I met with her prior my wedding to create my look and she listened to what I wanted to accentuate and nailed it. The morning of my wedding she created my look, my mother and my 4 bridesmaids. She brought out the natural beauty in all of us and none of us looked, or felt, made up. The looks lasted all night too, major plus! We all felt flawless and well taken care of. Amanda brings such love & light with her and is truly passionate about making people feel their most beautiful. I could not be happier with my choice of using her on my big day. I even went back a month later and bought the Lace Cosmetics she used on me. That's how pleased I was!

Amanda was awesome! She did makeup for my daughter'swedding along with two others and did an amazing job! She did a trial for my daughter a couple of months before the wedding so she was totally prepared on the day of the wedding. My daughter looked beautiful and it lasted the whole day. She even gave her a little satchel with touch-up products which came in very handy after her tears stopped. Great thought! Was so glad she was there to make us all look great!!

Amanda did my makeup and two of my bridesmaid's makeup this past Saturday (11/7/15). I've gotten my makeup done a handful of times, so I knew a little of what to expect. Amanda is wonderful - she did such a fabulous job! We played around with colors at my trial and developed the most beautiful bridal look. We opted for airbrush and I'm glad I did - my makeup stayed all night after dancing the night away!! I would hire her again in a heartbeat!!

Amanda is just the best. She's fun, hilarious, and fantastic at her job.

Amanda did makeup for me, my partner (we are a same-sex couple), and two of our bridesmaids. My partner doesn't wear a lot of makeup, and Amanda did a great job applying a more natural bridal look on her. I had a difficult time articulating exactly what I wanted, but Amanda was very patient with me while we went through more than one trial, and MY MAKEUP ENDED UP LOOKING SO AWESOME ON OUR WEDDING DAY. I could not have been happier.

We all had a blast hanging out with her while we were getting ready. Amanda + Christine Lopez (of NY Bridal Hairstyles) are a dream team.

Amanda is an amazing make-up artist! She did the make-up for me, my three bridesmaids, and my mom on my wedding day. Amanda was so much fun to work with and provided a great atmosphere while getting ready that morning. Amanda recreated my look from the trial run flawlessly. My make-up looked amazing all through the ceremony and reception! She even provided a small bag of lipstick and powder to bring with me :) My mom and my bridesmaids also loved their looks. Amanda customized each girls' look to bring out their best features. She was also very responsive to special requests for the make-up looks. She did a wonderful job on my mom's make-up. My mom does not usually wear make-up, so Amanda kept it light and natural, which looked great! Amanda does wonderful work at a reasonable price. She is fun, flexible and extremely talented. She gave my bridesmaids and me exactly what we wanted- a naturally enhanced look that lasted throughout the night. Amanda was absolutely incredible! I was worried/stressed when my other makeup artist fell through, but Amanda made all my worries go away when we had our makeup trial. Even though it was a makeup trial, she treated it as though it was the real thing and took time with all the details. When it came to the wedding day, she was just as efficient and thorough with the bridesmaids as she was with the bride. She was on time and ready to get started. Amanda was a pleasure to work with! She arrived on time, Did my makeup as well as my mom's makeup and all of my bridesmaids, too. Everyone was comfortable with her and she worked well with the hair stylist. Everyone loved the work she did, too! Something that she did that really meant a lot to me was not charge me extra when my Mom was running very late. It really lessened the stress to know that she and the hairstylist understood the situation and were not running the meter as I anxiously waited for my mom to get there. That is great service!!

I just moved to Atlanta so I have no idea or any connection to MUA. I found Lace Cosmetics/Amanda through google search, surprisingly she was the first MUA that I contacted and replied me right away. After I got her availability, all is set and I had no worry. Amanda is really friendly and welcome to suggestion during the trial, very helpful. She also was very flexible to my schedule, she's also very on time and leave me with no worry (we started around 5am! because I have morning ceremony)
I got a lot of compliments during my wedding about my makeup. Families and friends said my makeup was flawless. Thanks for making me a beautiful bride and everyone loves their makeup (mom, in law, and bridesmaids/sisters) too. I'll definitely recommend you to my circle of friends or anyone who needs MUA :)

Amanda was awesome! She was professional, kind and worked great with my girls and the hairstylist. I met with her for the trial which I was so thankful for because I changed my mind later on what I envisioned. She was able to give me feedback on my ideas quickly and was there whenever I needed to bounce off ideas. She came to us for makeup which made us feel super glamorous and special. My makeup looked amazing the whole night and came out great in the photos. I felt like myself but gorgeous the entire time! Her competitive prices where perfect for our budget.

Amanda Ford is absolutely amazing and did an outstanding job on my wedding day makeup!!! I am not a huge makeup person and my (now) husband definitely does not like when I wear a bunch of it. She kept my look very natural but camera ready. She also handed out great everyday makeup tips as she went along. If you are looking for a awesome makeup artist who is laidback, easy to be around, and just plain out cool then she is the one! Her easy going presence helped calm my wedding day nerves big time. She was easy to work with, quick to respond, great at what she does and very reasonably priced! I live in TX and the only day I could do my trial run was the morning after Thanksgiving. She was not only willing to accommodate, but also come to meet me! She was very flexible the day of the wedding and able to do more girls' makeup than planned. Some girls got everything done and some just their eyes - everyone looked great! The makeup stayed all night and I never had to worry about it! Turned out great in pics as well. Would definitely recommend!!!

The cost varies based on whether or not you'd like lashes ($10 more for lashes) and on the number of people getting made up. I had 8 girls (myself included) and was in a bit of a time crunch so the extra MUA was necessary and greatly appreciated. I couldn't say anything bad about Lace on Location. I was an out of town bride who needed makeup done on location; and Amanda made this whole process as painless as possible! She was very communicative throughout the whole process, and even booked the trial session based on when I'd be able to make the trip to Atlanta. Throughout the trial she made me feel extremely comfortable and made sure she noted every request I had. Like most brides, I changed my mind on some of the makeup before the wedding and shot her a quick email with my requests. Fast forward to the day off the wedding - she and Leah showed up at 6:45am ready to work. All 8 of us have a variety of skin tones, but they worked their magic on us all. When I sat in her chair I was beyond happy to see her pull out a notebook with all the specifics I'd requested! All of us received so many compliments throughout the day. And the makeup didn't smudge at all! I thought that after all the kissing I would have to reapply, but that wasn't the case! (Lipstick did get on the groom, but that's to be expected.) She even gave me a little lipstick and powder in case of makeup emergencies later. All in all, it was a great experience, and I would hire them again in a heartbeat!

Amanda did my make-up for my wedding in September. I knew that she would be a blast to work with after my make-up trial and was so excited for my wedding day! She had no problem driving to the tiny little town outside of Atlanta where my wedding was and was so patient when my hair dresser was running a little behind. My make-up turned out incredible and was just what I wanted, except better! Despite the fact that we had an outdoor wedding in Georgia, my make-up never needed retouching and stayed put throughout the entire wedding and reception. I would definitely hire Amanda again. In fact, I wish I could hire her every day!

Amanda did makeup for my wedding in October 2014. She did my bridal makeup, along with my 6 bridesmaids and my mom. I can't tell you how impressed I was with Amanda's work. And not just me - EVERYONE loved their makeup. Amanda did an excellent job making us all look like more beautiful versions of ourselves without be 'too done up.' I have very fair skin and Amanda managed to make my look soft and perfect. She worked on everyone from girls with olive skin tones to my mother in her 60s. We all looked great. Amanda was such a professional, and she made me feel so comfortable and confident. She really highlighted each of our natural beauty. I will definitely, without a doubt use her again when I need makeup done. I've already referred another friend of mine getting married to Amanda. Amanda did my makeup for my wedding, and she is the absolute best! She listened when I explained what I wanted and knew exactly how to make it happen. My pictures came out perfect, and I could not have been happier! I would highly recommend her to anyone!

Amanda was great to work with for my wedding makeup. On my wedding day, she did my makeup, my mom's, and my sister's (matron of honor). The only small issue we ran into was that we did run a little bit late in terms of makeup being done on time, maybe 10 or 15 minutes. Not a huge deal looking back on it but it did stress me out the day of because I was late to our venue to start photos. Amanda actually even got started earlier than scheduled because my hair was done early (and I appreciated her flexibility). I'm not sure why we ran late; if the amount of time she had allotted to do all 3 of us wasn't enough or the makeup my mom and sister requested was more than she had planned for. Part of it could have also been that I had her change my lip color at the last minute although she was very fast at this. Regardless of the delay, I still was really glad Amanda did my makeup for the big day and would hire her again. She was super friendly and great at giving tips and explanations for different makeup products and techniques, which I really liked given that I don't normally wear much makeup.

I was an older bride than what Amanda may have been used to working with so I knew I had to choose someone who could work wonders - and after speaking with her- I decided to put my trust in Amanda.
She did not let me down. Not only did she accomplish what I thought was impossible- Amanda exceeded my expectations. The make-up application was astonishing.

I used Lace on Location for my Engagement photos. Amanda was so amazing! My pictures came out absolutely divine, and my makeup was amazing. It's very hard for me to find makeup that matches my skin tone perfectly, but she managed to do it effortlessly! She instantly puts you at ease and makes you feel like your having a girls night with an old friend. I can't wait to use her for future events, thank you so much !

It was such a pleasure to meet and work with Amanda! She was so easy going, very professional, and not to mention very comforting on an incredibly stressful day! Amanda did my makeup for my wedding in June, and she was absolutely wonderful! A friend of mine recommended her, and I'm so glad she did. She's fun, friendly, and professional. I would recommend her to ANYONE. I don't have the clearest skin, so I was really looking for someone who could make my skin look flawless for the pictures. Amanda did exactly that! She also made my bridesmaids look fabulous. I could not have been happier with the way my makeup and my bridesmaids' makeup turned out on my wedding day.

Amanda did makeup for me, my bridesmaids, and my mom for my wedding in May 2014. After researching other makeup artists, I found that Amanda's prices were very competitive. Amanda came to my house for a trial run a few days before the wedding, and was very receptive to my preferences about makeup. I don't wear makeup in my everyday life, so I was a little nervous about wearing makeup for the wedding. Amanda did a great job of making the makeup look natural, and she used very light makeup so it didn't feel like I was wearing much at all. I felt both beautiful and comfortable on the wedding day. Amanda asked each individual person about their makeup preferences, and tailored her makeup application to each person. She gave good instructions for any touch-ups that might be necessary later in the day (I didn't end up having to do any, though!). Amanda even put a little bit of makeup on my husband so his nose wouldn't get shiny--it worked perfectly for the photos and wasn't noticeable in person. Amanda came to my house for the wedding day, too, and set up shop in the dining room, which was extremely convenient. Everyone gathered in the dining room to hang out with Amanda in between running around the house taking care of last-minute preparations. Amanda's calming presence in the house on the day of the wedding was such a blessing. I was pretty nervous before the wedding, and Amanda made me feel so much better. She was friendly and funny and really put us all at ease. I cannot recommend Amanda enough, both for her skill with makeup, and for her kind and friendly demeanor. She is exactly who you want to have around for an important occasion!

Amanda was absolutely amazing and I would recommend her to anyone needing a makeup artist for any event. She was so fun and such a pleasure to be around on my wedding day. The makeup she did on both me and my bridesmaids was flawless and she adjusted between our different features and requests like it was second nature. I met Amanda when she did my daughter's make-up tor her senior pictures. She did such an incredible job, I asked her to do my make-up for the wedding and let all my bridesmaids know she was available also. She did such an incredible job with everyone's make-up and we all had different requests and expectations. We enjoyed having her with us on my special day and the pictures turned out beautifully. My make-up lasted the entire evening. I have already recommended her to others and would feel comfortable recommending her again. I felt her cost was very appropriate and worth every penny.

Amanda did an absolutely fantastic job on my make-up, my bridal party's make-up, and my mother's make-up. The hair appointments were running late and Amanda was great about working with our schedule. I felt so beautiful! The best part was I didn't feel like I even had make-up on. She is amazing! I wish she could do my make-up every day.

Amanda was such a sweetheart! She was so easy to coordinate with and work with! She listened to exactly what my bridesmaids and I wanted for our makeup and she certainly delivered. Amanda did the bride, bridesmaids, and me, the mother of the bride. Her work is excellent, and although everyone got to specify 'their look', we were all nicely coordinated at the end.
Her personality is nice, warm, and friendly so you really relax when you are sitting for your makeup.
The trial she did for the bride was definitely something I would recommend -- she worked to get everything just right and then you also have a change to get to know her.
You will not be disappointed with her services in ANY WAY!

As the Maid of Honor, wedding day was crazy... I spent most of the time trying to keep everyone accounted for and on schedule to keep the Bride and Mother of the Bride calm and relaxed. Amanda did an AMAZING job being flexible and professional while we all ran around like crazy. All of our makeup was perfect and she paid close attention to detail. I also loved the personalized touches she provided, asking each member of the bridal party what kind of look they preferred, helping us all to maintain our own identity while still looking picture perfect on my sister's big day! I would recommend her to anyone, any day!

Amanda is amazing! I could not have asked for a better makeup artist. Her product is wonderful and stayed on all night. My face is very sensitive and I had no issues with the makeup. Her price is very reasonable and it was SO helpful that she could come to me. Her makeup enhances the features you want and hides what you don't while keeping you very natural. My new husband even commented on that. She is always on time or early and her communication is fantastic. She is willing to work around your schedule. She has a great attitude and is very easy to get along with. She listens to your wants and ensures that you are satisfied. I loved working with her and would 110% recommend her!

Amanda was GREAT as my wedding makeup artist! She was always quick to respond, and she is an absolute delight...so sweet and flexible...she just wants to make sure you're happy! I met with her a few months prior to my wedding for my trial, and we worked out a plan for the big day (she did a chart and took pictures). I even sent her some additional feedback later after spending a day in my makeup following the trial, and she made sure that I would love everything about it...which I did!

On the afternoon of my wedding, Amanda also ended up doing makeup for my mom and my husband's mom, and they both looked wonderful. I can't thank Amanda enough for her kindness and professionalism through the whole process...it can be a stressful chain of events leading up to your wedding, but she always made me feel at ease, and I'd definitely recommend her to others!

Amanda did the makeup for myself and my maid of honor for my November 2012 wedding. She did a wonderful job, both at the consultation and on the day of the event. Neither my sister or I wear a lot of makeup day to day, and she did a beautiful job with a natural look for this outdoor, morning ceremony. Amanda was always responsive and on-time, and was very easygoing to work with. I would definitely recommend her to other brides!

Amanda was the perfect makeup artist for my wedding in October. Not only was I thrilled with how my makeup looked, but all five of my bridesmaids and my mom were ecstatic about their makeup, too! My makeup trial appointment was not only extremely helpful (as I have no idea what I’m doing when it comes to makeup), but it was fun and relaxing – just what I needed the week before my wedding! As someone who does not usually wear makeup, I was so pleased that she enhanced my features instead of making me look and feel like a completely different person on my wedding day. Amazing Amanda! I can't say enough great things about her. My original makeup artist that I'd had booked for 7 months cancelled on me about 3 weeks before the wedding. I got in touch with Amanda through email and her response was super quick. We sheduled a trial run for a few days later. She even came to me at my Mom's house. My trial makeup was gorgeous!! We booked her on the spot!

Wedding day --- Amanda was on time, and ready to go! In addition to me, she did the makeup for my 2 bridesmaids and my mom. It was an evening wedding and very formal so I wanted a pretty dramatic look. She worked with each girl to achieve their best look, and I must say everyone looked stunning! My makeup was even better than the trial! I couldn't have been more pleased. I got so many compliments on my makeup that night!

Amanda was fun, and easy going. I will definitely use her again and recommend her to anyone in need of makeup!

P.S. GET THE LASHES!! They are worth it! We all got them and they photograph beautifully and look natural.

Amanda was AMAZING!!!! Friendly, prompt, professional, talented, flexible are jsut a few ways to describe her service on and before my big day! We did a trial run in advance and I brought pictures of looks that I liked and she helped me pick out what would look best on me. Even though I was apprehensive on some color choices that I wouldn't think to pick out she promised it would look great and she totally delivered!!! The makeup was flawless - I felt amazing and my friends and family raved about my makeup and theirs too. To me on your wedding day you should look like the prettiest version of you - not someone else and Amanda TOTALLY acheived this. I couldn't be more thrilled looking back at my pictures!!! If you don't book Amanda you are just silly!! :)

Amanda was absolutely amazing! During my trial run a few weeks before the wedding she helped me pick out colors that would look best on me, tried a few different things out and tweaked until I was absolutely thrilled with the outcome. On the day of the wedding she did touch ups throughout my photography session and even spruced up my bridesmaids before we went down the aisle.

I have never been more happy with the way that I look and would ABSOLUTELY recommend Amanda to friends, family and complete strangers. You will not find a more flexible, friendly, or talented makeup artist!

Lace on Location is great. They have applied my makeup twice now for my engagement sessions.
Amanda is very quick to respond to emails and they are very flexible with scheduling appointments.

Amanda is a doll. I met her through friends and loved being able to work with her. The salon took longer then we thought, so Amanda ended up waiting for us outside the hotel room. I felt awful, but she was really understanding. Our time was short, and she was able to do a beautiful job in the time that was allowed. My makeup looked awesome and her products were great. I brought some of my own foundation, but she was ready with anything I needed! Would totally use her again and wish she would do my makeup everyday!! Thanks, Amanda!!

An Absolute Pleasure to Work With

Amanda is such a sweet and compassionate person! My bridesmaids (5) and I had the best time getting to know her the morning of my wedding.
As a bride who rarely wears more than mascara, it was important to me that I look natural on my big day. Amanda was committed to finding the best form of my natural look to give me that confident, elevated feeling. She was also very attentive to each of my bridesmaids, really taking time to listen to their preferences and give them a look that both suited their style but didn't stand out from the group.
Getting married during the COVID-19 Pandemic definitely complicated several aspects of my wedding. Amanda was very flexible, understanding, and professional throughout all of the hurdles. Originally planning to be married May 9th, she allowed me to reschedule my services without penalty or fee. She wore a face mask the entire time, never used the same brush on two faces, and took time to sanitize her products using UV light between persons. While I didn't have time to use her provided touch up kit at my reception, the photos from cake cutting show little to no signs of the face mask I wore while greeting our guests (probably 1.5 hours total).
I would highly recommend Amanda and honestly am hoping I'll have my own reason to book her services again in the future.
