La Vie creates magic, no other way to say it. Their artistry is unmatched! I can’t recommend them enough to anyone who wants a true professional to create a customized photography experience. They are talented, patient, creative...not to mention the NICEST TEAM EVER. Our photos turned out better than we could have ever hoped! They captured every single moment and detail of our big day perfectly!

For lack of a better word, AMAZING!
For most, finding and sourcing a photographer for a wedding can be such a daunting task. From researching who’s available on your date, to looking for recommendations from people in your circle or researching based on other personal factors like costs. For me, finding Sally was a little different. I had seen her work on the website of a venue I was considering at the time, and decided right there and then that whoever that photographer was, it was whom I wanted for my wedding. Following lots of research, we found out that Sally from La Vie Photography was the artist behind the amazing photos. Going on to work with Sally was a dream; she was absolutely amazing from the day I walked into her studio to the end. She’s efficient, professional, friendly, and went out of her way to ensure that she captured the most out of our precious moment. I laugh and cry every time I view the images and cannot stop looking at them and reliving the day over and over. Everyone I’ve shown the images keeps raving about her work and I can’t agree more; she is that AMAZING!

Sally was everything we dreamed of in a wedding photographer!
I loved the way she captured the emotion of the weddings on her website from the minute I saw it. I was instantly impressed in our pre-wedding meeting, as she adeptly navigated all of the opinions and ideas in the room. The day of the wedding she was a delight to work with. She kept everything in order and on schedule, but in a way where it felt like she was enjoying the day along with us. And the photos... WOW! All of the incredible emotion of the day that I loved in her portfolio - I could not have been happier with how she captured the same memories for our wedding. I could not be happier with our choice to hire Sally as our wedding photographer.I loved the way she captured the emotion of the weddings on her website from the minute I saw it. We were so happy with Jamie and Sally! They were responsive, easy to work with and most of all, the took amazing photos. We had a few location snafus (the place we were supposed to take photos was locked, it rained, etc.) and they rolled with it and took wonderful shots regardless. Afterwards, there were also a few really important photos we needed retouched and Sally was right on it, totally understood and fixed those photos in record time - which I feel like speaks a lot to their professionalism. No excuses, they just want their clients to be happy. We also got our photos within about 3 weeks, which was amazing. Couldn't be happier that we picked them!We were so happy with Jamie and Sally! Sally was amazing!! I continue to get rave reviews from guests about how well the photos tell the story of our special day. She was extremely professional, kept us on schedule, and even jumped in when my mom was having trouble with my dress buttons. I highly recommend her services as her work is incredibly beautiful! Our day wouldn't have been the same without her and I love all of the photos that I will cherish forever!Sally was amazing!! We interviewed lots of photographers but as soon as I stepped into the La Vie studio I knew Sally and Jessica were the ones I wanted to work with on my wedding. Jessica was our photographer on our wedding day and the second shooter was Taylor. Both of them were amazing to work with and they got every single shot I hoped for and more. Their creativity and vision was exactly what I was looking for, I didn't want typical super-posed photos that lots of people end up with. They are always so fast to respond to emails and questions and Jessica was so upbeat and knew exactly what she was doing and that expertise helped me relax in front of the camera. I'm in love with the photos, I was hoping I would have 10 photos I loved, but I ended up with 100!!! There is absolutely no way I can put into words what Sally and the La Vie Team mean to my family and I. Sally was due with her fourth baby 2 weeks before my wedding and no matter what, Sally was going to be there, and she was. Throughout all of our photography experiences, Sally made me feel like the most beautiful woman in the world. She continuously brought me out of my comfort zone and made me feel like I could do anything in the world. I could go on and on talking about how incredible Sally and her team are, but there is one thing that I would like to highlight. When I got married in July, I was so lucky that I was able to have all four of my healthy grandparents walking down the aisle. Throughout the day, I noticed Sally taking a lot of pictures of my papa, my mom's father. When we got our proofs and later our pictures, I again noticed there were an abundant amount of pictures of my papa, which captured him perfectly. I asked Sally why, and she said, "there was just something really special about him that I needed to capture." Four months later, my papa passed away unexpectedly. I will be forever grateful to Sally and her team for all that they have done for myself and my family.There is absolutely no way I can put into words what Sally and the La Vie Team mean to my family and I. Can't say enough good things about La Vie Photography and owner, Sally. Not only is she super cool and down-to-earth, but she's extremely organized and professional. Her chill personality helped warm up my fiance (who is not into taking photos), which was a huge stress reliever for me. The whole day was seamless and easy, all because Sally was prompt and knew exactly what the entire day/timeline looked like. There's something pretty amazing about having someone guiding you along your big day so you don't have to worry and also getting kick-ass photos out of it. t was such a pleasure working with Alison. From the beginning I knew our photos would be wonderful. I had heard great things from many people who had worked with Alison in the past. So I was not surprised when we got our beautiful photos after the wedding.
I was planning my Minneapolis wedding from Dallas where I live and was not familiar with the Minneapolis area. Alison went above and beyond to help me and take photos of the ceremony area we had picked since I was not able to see it because it was covered in snow. Then two days before our wedding we found out we were going to have to move the ceremony and needed a new place to shoot our wedding photos. Alison met with me again and we drove around Minneapolis so she could show me all the places we could shoot. As a stressed bride from out of town this meant the world to me. I was so happy to work with Ali at LaVie. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a wedding photographer.t was such a pleasure working with Alison. It was amazing to me how she captured so many personalities and relationships of the people we care about without knowing any of them. Sally shot my sisters wedding 4 years ago. No joke, I sent her an email saying "When I get married you are going to be my photographer." That was the one thing I was sure of when I was planning my wedding. Not only are her pictures AMAZING but her personality is even better!! She has such a fun personality and totally makes you feel comfortable. And not to forget her amazing assistant Mia! They are the full package. I was referred to La Vie by one of my friends that was married about one year before me. I found her wedding pictures on pictage.com and loved the look and feel of the photos. I was in attendance at that wedding and remember not even seeing the photographer -- which is a GOOD thing at weddings!
Sally and her associate, Brittany, were great and got along very well with the wedding party! She had lots of creative ideas for photos, giving us more than stuffy, boring portraits. They were professional, friendly and blended in well with the guests. I would recommend La Vie to any bride in Minneapolis!
