Great Venue!

La Sure's was very easy to work with. They have a beautiful outside area for a ceremony and the food was wonderful. They are very organized and accommodating. I couldn't have asked for a better day!

Excellent!

I got married 10/10/2020. We had an outdoor wedding, buffet style, & we wanted dinner to be served at 5 & they came at 4 on the dot and it was great! The staff was friendly, the food was great. & We got to take the leftovers home too which was awesome. We also got a 3 cakes from LaSures & it all went over great! I would recommend them to anyone.

Last minute

My caterer cancel a week before my wedding and La Sure’s stepped right in, with an amazing buffet and got the job done correctly. Everyone complimented the food and we’re very grateful for them.

Perfection

We had an outdoor wedding planned at LaSure's which due to weather had to be brought inside. This venue and all the people that work there are excellent. They had everything so beautiful and it made the day perfect. So many compliments from the guests on how good the food was and how everything was done to perfection.

AMAZING-should have been our first pick

When our venue suddenly closed their doors 6 weeks before our wedding they where there to help and get the ball rolling again. They were so professional and polite. I would use them again in a heart beat. The food was amazing taste and price wise. I have no complaints!

Friendly, responded quickly, answered questions, reminded us of things we may have forgotten.

We had a pleasant experience. They were willing to go above and beyond for us. They even extended to open an hour early so we could set up for the reception. Over all awesome!

The food was incredible. Our guests are still commenting on how beautiful the hall was and how amazing the food. Talia was a pleasure to work with. We had the greatest experience having our wedding ceremony and reception at LaSures! The food and cake were amazing! The staff were amazing to work with and were very professional. I was so extremely happy with how my wedding went. The staff (Talia, Amanda and Bob) at LaSure's was so helpful and quick to assist me in any way possible. The set up is wonderful with plenty of room to move around, eat, dance, etc. The food was absolutely delicious and the cake lady (Bev) was a wonderful lady with lots of great design ideas. They were all very willing to do whatever it took to make sure that my wedding day was perfect. They kept things moving when transitioning between arrival, dinner, cake cutting, dancing.. and made sure that everything that I wanted done was actually done. They were always quick to respond to emails. They work hours that are convenient for most people as they are there early in the morning until around 6 at night. I'm so glad that we chose LaSure's as our wedding venue, it was a good location and being connected to a hotel makes it much easier for guests!

Talia was absolutely phenomenal. She was responsive and professional and so helpful. We ended up coming in under our budget which was great and all of our guests RAVED about the food and the cake!! It was great.

Very glad we chose to have our wedding reception here! Convenient location, being connected to a hotel. Big dance floor. Mouth-wateringly delicious food. Nice bar area. Great service. Cool perk -- they provide complimentary mirrors and candle globes for table decorations (we supplemented with flowers). And, very importantly, they let us shoot off fireworks behind the building :)

This was a fantastic expirience and everything went great. They have the best catering around and if you are at there hall they work with you to make everything great! Never before have I been at a wedding with the food served so fast and nothing was even close to cold.

We got married June 4, 2016 at Brighton Acres in Oshkosh. La Sure's catered our dinner. I don't think there is one bad thing I could say about them. Everything was absolutely amazing. During and after we got so many compliments on how delicious all the food was and how speedy they were getting everyone through the buffet line. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a caterer. You can not go wrong.

GREATLY satisfied with the services provided for my wedding reception.

The four servers provided a very professional and discrete set-up and take-down, without causing any distractions to the event. The service was outstanding, especially with the constant clean-up and tidying of the park venue. The dinner was excellent, with several guests complimenting the food.

Overall, it was great service for a very competitive price.

They are very welcoming and accommodating to all your wants and needs for your wedding. They are always there to help you and answer all your questions. We chose La Sure's because of the owner he made us feel welcomed and wanted there.

I planned a banquet here for our College Cross Country Team and parents after the national NCAA National Meet. I had never been to the facility, and am from Minnesota. In spite of the distance, planning our event went very smoothly. Talia was very responsive and helpful. The space itself was tastefully decorated and nicely lit. The linens and table decorations were lovely and the food was great - I had lots of positive feedback regarding the quality of the food on the buffet. The staff and owner were very helpful and professional at our event. I would definitely chose LaSure's again.

Talia was extremely helpful, answered all our questions and was able to do everything we asked for. Food was great and the buffet line for 285 guests was extremely efficient. They provided table linens, food, hors d'oeuvres, and other things we asked for.

We met with the staff a few times before our wedding. Every question we had they were very quick to answer, whether it was by email or phone. When it came down to finalize the menu, we were able to go in and sit down with them to go over all the details. On the day of the wedding, the staff came to set up early and had everything ready for the dinner. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. I would recommend using LaSure's to anyone looking for a caterer in the Oshkosh area. There were wonderful to work with.

We had our reception at La Sure's banquet hall. The facility is very nice and the food was amazing. All of our guests said it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding. The Hawaiian chicken and the whiskey steak were out of this world delicious. They also did an amazing job on our wedding cake. It was very flavorful and decorated just the way I had asked. Everyone at La Sure's is very easy to work with.

Everything was fantastic! The venue was great, and the food was amazing. We received so many compliments from our guests that we needed to pass them on. Everyone's hard work at LaSure's truly made our wedding night special.

We also wanted to share that Talia did a fantastic job from the first time we contacted LaSure's inquiring about availability and pricing all the way through the wedding day and even after the wedding!

We would recommend LaSure's banquet hall to anyone having their wedding or any other event in the Oshkosh area!

Our employees love La Sure! I can always count on them for excellent food and service. We've become a team over the years...we have a three shift operation, and they know what to serve, where to serve, when to serve, and how to serve. I have NO worries about a catering when La Sure is involved.

Laurie and her crew were so wonderful to work with. From the beginning to end, everyone was so helpful. Laurie always responded to my many questions quickly whether by email or phone. She made the process fun and eased the stress of planning a wedding. I can not thank them enough. Bev, who did the cake, was also very easy to work with. I had the wedding of my dreams and La Sure's made that possible. They were not just "doing their job". I felt like they truly cared about all the little details and being a part of my special day. Leading up to our wedding all staff were so kind, helpful and easy to get get hold of. They respected all of my wishes and allowed for me to decorate exactly how I wanted. Food was amazing!!! Everyone we talked with following the wedding said the food was the best food they have ever had at a wedding!!! :) Thanks La Sure's for making our wedding perfect!

The cake was amazing! I got lots of compliments and people asking were it is from! I had a specific idea in mind that I wanted and they were able to delivery! The cake was a replica of my grandparents and parents cake and they were able to help me find pieces to McKee it match those cakes from over 30 and 50 years ago! Thank you

We loved our Red Velvet Cake with Chocolate Fudge frosting. Didn't have any left but that is a statement to how much it was enjoyed by our guests.

LaSure's Banquet Hall and Catering is a wonderful place for a reception. They work well with you and make sure yoiu get what you want for you special day. They have great rates and the food is amazing! We also had our cake done here and the flavors are just wonderful. We had two different flavors and they were delicious and the cake looked exactly like the picture I had given them!

LaSures was great! The food was awesome and the service was even better.The food was catered in and was piping hot and there was more than enough to go around. We know that many of the people who attended our wedding are big eaters, and there was plenty. We would highly recommend going to the tasting preview night. The only problem is that it becomes hard to choose from so many wonderful options.

The food was amazing! We did a family style dinner and didn't come close to running out of food. They were on top of refilling bowls and waters. It was great and stress free.

This was our 2nd wedding and we had it in an enclosed park pavillion. We wanted to keep costs down, but wanted great food too. LaSure's met both of those needs. The food was served hot, we had more than enough and everyone raved at how wonderful everything tasted. Not your typical "banquet" food. Very good! Also the wait staff was wonderful and very attentive.

I absolutely loved our wedding cake! We had a simple tiered cake where I brought in my own silk flowers and they arranged them. Then we had a creative wedding topper and they worked with it! And did a great job! I would highly recommend. They delivered and set up our cake with no problems. And everyone loved the cake!

We absolutely loved our Reception at La Sure's! They have a beautiful facility with absolutely AMAZING food. Our guests at our wedding were more than happy with our family style choice. One thing to make note of is there is a food minimum (does not include bar tab) amount if your event is scheduled on a Saturday night. It is probably not financially feasible for smaller weddings. My husband and I loved working with Talia, the reception planner. She was always available to answer questions and look into different food choices for us. Thank you for making our wedding reception a night to remember!!

The food was amazing and everything was set up and taken down professionally so we didn't have to worry about anything. Only thing I recommend with La Sure's is to double check when they want you to drop off linens because they are closed on Sundays.

La Sure's was one of the required caterers for our wedding and we couldn't be happier with the result of working with them. They were so helpful in choosing meals for the wedding and worked with multiple dietary needs of our guests. The food was simply amazing and very filling on a day when we didn't have much time to eat. Absolutely wonderful experience!

Bev at La Sure's Bakery is amazing. She has been in the business for many years and has a lot of experience. She and her team to great work and are a huge name in the area. Their French Cream frosting is to die for.

La Sure's created our wedding cake and it was amazing. The were very accommodating to our requests as we asked for a design they had never created before. Since we were coming in from out of town, they met with us a few days before the wedding and showed us the cake they created. It was GREAT to know what we were getting before the big day. The staff was friendly and our guests LOVED the cake. Their signature french buttercream was exactly what we were looking for and they made special arrangements to work in our more complicated wedding cake topper!

The only difficult part was that they do not communicate via email so you always have to call. Not a big deal in the end, but slightly less convenient than just shooting over picture ideas via Pinterest.

Overall, they were an excellent Wedding Vendor and we'd happily recommend them!

Lasure's cake is the best tasting cake in my area! Not only does it taste amazing, but it also looked beautiful. My husband and I were able to design our cake from top to bottom. There is a very long list of cake flavors and fillings to accomodate any taste. We had one of our layers in our cake layered cheesecake and regular cake. Above all they are very resonable in price. I would recommend them to anyone!

LaSure's was great to work with for our wedding; everything went as planned. Only thing that was frustrating is we weren't allowed to start decorating the hall until 9:00 AM the day of the wedding. Being from out of town it would have been more accommodating to have the day before to decorate so we weren't rushed the day of the wedding.

LaSure's has the best icing I have ever tasted on any bakery product. The cake was simple but elegant. They delivered it to the restaurant for our reception for no extra charge. Allthough the cake was beautiful, it wasn't quite what I had asked for. This was not a problem and I would definately use them again for other special events.

Talia was absolutely amazing to work with. She made sure that we had everything we could want and more. She was very thorough and double checked all the details. La Sures was very accommodating to special requests for the menu. The staff that worked the wedding did a great job too. Dinner service went off without a hitch. We were so pleased with how things went at the dinner.
People still are commenting to us that it was the best wedding food they’ve had. The only hiccup when it came to the food was that at the end of the night, we were told that there were no leftovers. The groom and I barely ate any food because of nerves unfortunately, so we were really looking forward to trying it and possibly serving the leftovers at the gift opening the following morning. We started to worry that we had run out of food at the end, but after chatting with some of the guests who got food last, they said there had been plenty of food for them. We had several people check the spot that we were told leftovers would be kept for us. Then several days later, we were told that there were a bunch of leftovers sitting at La Sures. By the time we were notified, we already had scrambled for food options for the gift opening and the food had most likely gone bad or at least was past its prime. This really bummed us out after all the money we had spent on the food for it to just sit and go bad.
I reached out to the Vendor in January, but there was no response to my concerns or comments as of yet.

Everything went pretty smoothly, Tanya in the office was great and very helpful! Didn't get much of our security deposit back due to being "nickel and dimed" after all was said and done. Food and cupcakes were delicious!

For our wedding in Oshkosh we decided on La Sure's as it was the most recommended catering service in the Oshkosh area. We were pleasantly surprised with the gluten free options available and the variety of food options. We decided to go with stations for our dinner including an On Wisconsin station and our guests had great things to say about all of the food. There was also more than enough food for our amount of guests so we had nothing to worry about there.

Disappointed. Our money was thrown away.

We hired La Sure’s for our October wedding and the food was delicious and the staff were very helpful leading up to the event. However, there were some big errors made that they (the owner) did not want to correct or make good on.

We paid for the food buffet along with China Buffet #2. When ordering the China Buffet #2 be aware that the water is served in a 5 gallon Igloo cooler. Yes, the type that you use during tailgates and football games. I informed them that this was a wedding and I didn’t want a big plastic cooler. We ended up negotiating with them and for an extra $2 a table the water would be placed on the table.

We also ordered coffee and were told they could leave it at the venue until Monday (our wedding was on Sunday) so our guests could enjoy it through the evening. This did not happen.

We served dinner around 6pm and by 7-7:30pm all of the leftover food, water, silverware and coffee were gone. The La Sure’s staff and our food/drinks we paid for were nowhere to be found. We had a great deal of leftovers and even brought packaging to send some home with our guests and ourselves. We were unable to do this as it was taken away before we even had a chance. Everyone knows the bride and groom are so busy they don’t really eat the night of, so I was so looking forward to nice food later that evening or even the next day!

Our guests were asking for coffee & water the rest of the night (after 7:30pm) and I had nothing to tell them other then La Sure’s left for the night and took everything with them. Incredibly disappointing as we were promised something completely different.

Upon calling the owner the next day and asking for a partial refund for all of the food that was thrown away without our permission, he said no. He stated that is common practice to throw away the food after dinner is served and to not ask permission to do so. It was only 1:30 after dinner was served! We had guests arrive late and had nothing to serve them. Even the utensils were gone for the dessert!

As previously stated, we loved the food and the servers were great. However, we were greatly disappointed in the action taken by the owner and his “this is how it is” response when we were told something completely different by his staff and our venue who often interacts with them. When you spend thousands of dollars with a company you want to be able to trust them on their word and their service.

Given all of this information I would be extremely careful when hiring them to do your next large event and be sure you stay on top of them the day of the event.

I would have to say that I had a terrible expirence with them being that half of my cake landed on the floor because their servers dont understand how to serve from the back
