Best Wedding Band Ever
If you are considering a DJ versus a band for your big day, look no further. I cannot rave enough about La Super Banda! I had a destination wedding in January of 2025 with about 35 guests and I’ve been told by multiple people that our reception was the best they have ever been to. La Super Banda has a huge song list to choose from and they are even willing to learn specific songs if you coordinate with them. I am not much of a dancer and was nervous about being the center of attention all night, but that was not the case. These guys managed to get EVERYONE out on the dance floor (even my sweet grandparents). They kept my reception fun, lighthearted, and interactive. The band even took pictures with my polaroid camera and wrote out a message to us in my photo guest book.
I think the most impressive part about this experience is that we had guests approach us at the resort the following day and talk about how fun the reception sounded and how good the music was. So even the bystanders hanging out in the pool that evening were enjoying the set.
My wedding planner told me early on that music is one of the most important parts of your wedding day; because if your guests are bored, they will leave. Having a live band is obviously slightly more expensive, but this was worth every penny. I will back on the pictures and videos from this night fondly for the rest of my life.

Best Wedding Band We've Ever Heard
If you want to have the most fun singing and dancing at your wedding, we cannot recommend La Super Banda enough. We hired the 8 piece band for our reception and are still getting messages from our guests about how incredible they were. They were engaging with the crowd and brought so much energy! They played two full sets of 70 minutes and truly didn't rest for a second when they were on - each song just ran right into the next. We also hired the jazz trio for cocktail hour and it was lovely! -

Best Band for your Wedding or any special event
Truly I would say not even a 20/10 gives justice to the amazing band. They kept the party going all night. I am beyond grateful. If you know I always try to look for somwthing BBB bueno bonito barato meaning something good, beautiful and cheap 😂😂. If thats you? Then hire them 😂😂 -

We are so glad we hired La Super Banda
We first found La Super Banda on Wedding Wire and liked the reviews, then we checked their YouTube video and liked what we heard and finally our wedding planner recommended them. We are so glad we hired them. They exceeded our expectations! We had the best wedding reception we could have dreamed of! They provided our sound for the outdoor ceremony, live music for our cocktail hour and live DJ besides the regular live entertainment. The most special moment was our first dance. Their interpretation of the song I requested, exceeded the beauty of the original version. I danced every song they sang. -

Hire La Super Banda ASAP!
Oh my goodness, I have nothing but good things to say about La Super Banda. I was worried that my mixed culture wedding would not have a good balance of music but La Super Banda assured me there would be a good mix of music, both live and DJ. They delivered above my expectations and put on a show! Everyone at my wedding was so impressed with them and have been asking for the contact information for their weddings. Bravo! -

Amazing Band
La Super Banda was excellent. Our dance floor was packed the entire wedding! We also had an acoustic set during cocktail hour and it was fantastic. They also were very easy to work with and very responsive to email. All of our friends and family were talking about them the next day. -

Party like no other
Having La Super Banda at our wedding was the key ingredient for the amazing party we had. They are able to read the guests and know exactly what to sing to keep them energized all night long!! And this is very important!!! If your guests are party animals (like ours) YOU HAVE TO HIRE LSB. I love them. Excellent communication. La Super Banda = AMAZING PARTY -

Espectacular!
La Super Banda se la comio! Fue Espectacular! Son algunos de los comentarios de mis invitados de los cuales doy fe. El performance fue excelente. Supieron montar el party y animar el party. Me encanto que los cantantes se bajaron al dance floor y se integraron con nosotros y los invitados. Al principio tuvieron un percanse con el sonido (demasiado alto), pero supieron ajustarlo y quedo en el olvido para todos. Miguel es super responsive, contesta mesajes rapido tomando en cuenta la cantidad de compromisos que tienen dentro y fuera de PR. En fin recomendaria a ojos cerrados a la Super Banda a cualquiera. Exito muchachos! -

BEST BAND FOR YOUR WEDDING! Look no more! La Super Banda has everything you and your guests are looking for! La Super Banda MADE our event! I really don't know how to put into words how fantastic this group was and how great it was to work with them. My husband was the one who found them on Wedding Wire and I am so grateful he did! Some of our friends continue to send us message talking about how awesome the band was. Everyone danced in our wedding including the 70 year olds and the 2 year olds doing limbo with the band's mic stand. They offer great variety of music, English and Spanish and during their breaks, their MP3 list is also great. We weren't able to afford both band and DJ but it really wasn't needed because LSB was perfect in every single aspect. I can't recommend them enough. The process for booking, their responsiveness, and their timeliness (getting there early that day) were great. As soon as the band started playing, our guests had a surprised look on their faces like they were not expecting the band to be as amazing as they were. One of my girlfriends said "I thought weddings were boring until yours, and could I please have the female singer at my wedding because she was awesome" and honestly the whole band was awesome! Thank you La Super Banda for making our wedding everything we dreamed, keep up your amazing work because you are everything Puerto Rico needs! -

Wooooo... La Super Banda killed it! They had the party rocking all night long. I am a musician myself of many years with a very discerning ear. I was impressed with this band musically, and their performance was high energy that kept the party full of life throughout the evening. I was particularly impressed with how they handled music selections. We had a diverse guest list of Puerto Ricans, Americans, and Haitians, and La Super Banda handled all musical tastes with ease and everyone was on the floor dancing for all the music. I can't wait to party with them again. Do yourself a favor and hook yourself up with La Super Banda... they were awesome! -

This is the best wedding band in Puerto Rico, hands down. Extremely professional full of talent. They made our night an epic celebration. The dancefloor never cleared out.

ESPECTACULAR. La Super Banda fue definitivamente el elemento mas importante para que mi fiesta quedara divertidísima. Durante la contratación fue muy fácil trabajar con ellos y coordinar todo. Llegaron muy a tiempo y apropiadamente vestidos. Los músicos son excelentes, los cantantes tienen tremenda voz y amenan super bien a todos los invitados; y el sonido es fantástico. La selección musical fue bien divertida y variada. Ellos también me coordinaron 1/2 hr loca con una batuplena que quedó DE SHOW. Mis invitados bailaron, cantaron, brincaron y apenas se sentaron. Definitivamente son ESPECTACULARES en todos sus servicios.
I sign this group knowing anything at all of them and it was the best decision. They were AWSOME. It was a wonderful party, everyone has a lot of fun. The signing process was very easy and clear all the time. They were very professional with the dress code and on time. The musicians were very good, the singers has wonderful voices, the sound was excellent and the music selection was variety and amused. They also set a 1/2 hr with a "batuplena" that was SPECTACULAR. We all dance, sing and enjoy. This is an AWSOME band.

Complacientes, profesionales, flexibles, carinosos--y ademas un exito total como musicos! Como muchas novias, no me organice bien para saber que pedirles etc, pero ellos se encargaron y todo salio increiblemente bien. Los invitados se volvieron locos y todo el mundo me pregunto por la banda. Si lo pudiera hacer de nuevo, tendria una lista mas organizada de que pedir que me tocaran, pero no me puedo quejar: todo salio increiblemente bien y la pista no se vacio en toda la noche aunque hacia un calor terrible. Tener una banda no es barato, pero cuando pienso en como me animaron el party y como la gente gozo, este grupo en particular fue una ganga.
My wedding was a mix of ages and languages and cultures, so I was a little worried about being able to convince people to dance and keep the momentum. I shouldn't have worried: La Super Banda was super easy to work with from the beginning, and during the wedding, they read the crown BEAUTIFULLY. They asked about what we didn't want to hear and then stuck with it; they were flexible about the schedule, etc, to accommodate our needs, and they made sure the dance floor was always full, and with a great, ever-changing mix of guests. Considering the product they delivered (at an outdoor reception on an unseasonably, uncomfortably warm night at that), it was a bargain. There are wedding vendors I wouldn't recommend, but La Super Banda is certainly not one of them. My husband (!) wants have an anniversary party just to get them back! -

Excelentes, complacientes, cariñosos! Al final, nadie se quería ir y medio mundo me preguntó dónde los conseguimos. Animaron a los invitados y tocaron una buena variedad de canciones. Si lo pudiese hacer de nuevo, cambiaría algunos vendedores for sure pero esos no!!
They were responsive, professional, and incredibly nice. Our guest list had a range of ages, cultures, and languages, but LSB made it feel cohesive, and they played a great variety of songs. They requested input from us about preferences etc but we left it up to them, and they delivered! The dance floor was packed all night, even though it was unseasonably hot in our reception space. We LOVED them, and all of guests did, too! -

So worth it!
This is your sign to go and book la super banda… and I was a little wary on hiring a band for my wedding but it was one of the best decisions I have made. I cannot begin to explain how amazing and talented the spend is and how much our guest enjoyed them. We loved everything and this was 100% worth the money! -

Haven’t had an amazing party in a long time!
A friend recommended this band and it was amazing. We’ve got communication problems at the beginning where they didn’t respond to our emails but it got resolved and it improved a lot! They managed the DJ, Band and Batucada and everything was very professional. My guests where amazed and asking who they were to use it in the future. 5 stars! -

Luckily, we had seen LSB twice before hiring them for our wedding. On both occasions we had a great time dancing - so it was a no brainer for us to select them as the band for our reception. On our wedding day they did not disappoint! The dance floor was always filled with guests dancing. They have a great repertoire and perform everything from salsa and merengue to top 40 songs, with the purpose of having everyone get up and dance no matter the age or taste in music. THANK YOU LSB for your lively performance and being part of a night we will never forget! -

Definitivamente, LSB fue el alma de nuestra recepción. Saben como amenizar y mantener el ambiente alegre. En nuestra boda nadie se quedó sin bailar. Muy buena selección de temas. Todos los invitados comentaban que buena estaba la música. Super recomendados, no se van a arrepentir!!! -

So much fun
I'm so happy I went with La Super Banda for my wedding entertainment. I was initially hesitant to get them because they were over my budget but it was so worth going a little over budget to get them. They were sooooo much fun!!! My wedding guests and my husband and I danced all night! They really knew how to entertain the crowd. They had a great mix of songs. Overall, they made my wedding reception one to remember. I can't wait to see all the pictures and video. -

La Super Banda is a group of very talented musicians that are very lively, professional and a great choice for any event. The only reason I do not give them a 5 star rating is because of some communication issues I had with whom I believe was the manager. I had a hard time getting responses to emails sometimes and the day of the wedding some songs I had requested not to be played were still played. Also, I had a choreographed dance prepared which I tried to coordinate ahead of time with the band. The day of the event I approached the band DJ and while he knew about the dance, some very important details had not been shared with him. I explained the missing details to the DJ before the dance and, thankfully, everything went well. I feel like some of the things that were very important to me were not conveyed to the band. I hope they are able to provide better communication in the future because the band is amazing and I would still highly recommend them!. -

Lamentablemente, esperábamos más de esta banda. Por el precio que pagamos, estábamos esperando un mejor servicio. Les enviamos una lista de canciones para que tocaran y tocaron muy pocas de las que les pedimos. Les pedimos géneros tropicales y no tocaron casi. No respondieron a tiempo nuestros emails. Nuestros invitados estaban en un nivel mayor de energía y la banda no supo alcanzarlos. No los recomiendo. -
