    We used La Petite Sweet for our wedding and they did a fantastic job on the cake! The cake was a timeless three tiered (with subtle yet elegant designs) white cake with elegant sugar flowers (our florist supplemented with fresh). The taste test was incredibly helpful and delicious. The cake was delivered as promised (on time) and was a dead match to the photo we asked that they match. We sprung for some upgraded linens for our cake table (not through the bakery) and our cake was definitely the centerpiece of the ballroom! We asked that our hall serve the cake as dessert so that as many guest would eat it as possible and we received so many compliments on the cake. I wish we had more time to eat it on our big day but the small piece I tried with cake cutting pictures were amazing. Looking forward to eating it again on our 1 year anniversary :)

    Diana was so easy to work with. When she met with us during our tasting, we knew she was the baker to make our wedding cakes. We didn't want the traditional wedding cake and opted for a cake table. The cakes she made were unbelievable. Not only were they absolutely beautiful, they were deliciously decadent. We had so many compliments on the cakes. Thank you so much for making our wedding perfect!

    La Petite Sweet was easy to work with and very affordable. They gave us a tasting and provided a wide variety of samples to try. The cake was delivered promptly and looked perfect. We would highly recommend working with this shop.

    Diane and her staff were absolutely wonderful to work with! We did cupcakes instead of a traditional cake, and they were beautiful and delicious! And the price was very reasonable! I know they are changing locations, but I will definitely be using them for future cakes and baked goods! Thank you so much!

    They were AMAZING! I got cupcakes for my wedding and they were seriously orgasmic, so I hear! I can't wait for my 1st wedding anniversary to eat the top tier of my cake. They icing was delicious and they really sat down and listened to what I wanted & worked with me.

    DELICIOUS! DELICIOUS! DELICIOUS!!! The cake looked amazing and it was just absolutely beautiful!!! The grooms cake was also just what I wanted except they forgot to put the people figures on it. When we returned the cake stand, they were very apologetic and were even willing to make us an anniversary cake because they forgot to add them on. But it looked just as I had imagined!! We had so many compliments from our guests on how tasty the cake was. They were also very flexible on the pricing of the cake itself and they worked with us on the designs we wanted for the price we wanted to spend!

    Mmmmm...yuuummm! Our cake was awesome and looked absolutely gorgeous! I was so excited when I saw it sitting on the table waiting for us to cut into it...LOL. It tasted amazing and I can't wait to eat the cake again on our anniversary. They were very nice and accommodating to us when we went there to figure everything out. I thought the cake tasting and everything would take a while to choose but we were out of there in no time. They made it very painful for us and it tasted great!

    What can I say besides amazing. Diane and her staff did an outstanding job on our wedding cake. It was fresh and delicious. She also created a groom's cake that was very personal to me and my husband. The groom's cake (BOB from Monsters vs Aliens) was a big hit for the kids as well. They couldn't wait to have a piece of BOB cake. We have definitely found our new bakery.

    We did not want a traditional wedding cake. We were having a day time tapas wedding – so a big cake seemed not to work. I met with Diane, the owner of La Petite Sweets in Westmont and she knew exactly what we wanted…a modern petit four! She made us three different sized cakes – small (about a bite), medium (about two bites) and large (grab a fork). I think this is the only wedding I have been to that everyone had cake..and went for seconds. Half of our cakes were a vanilla and the other half were a double chocolate cake. She decorated them to go with our colors. Great prices. Diane is awesome to work with and makes such yummy cakes. I can’t wait to go visit her bakery/café when I am in for a visit. Another bonus – helping a small business owned by a woman! Love it!

    My great aunt just emailed me for La Petite Sweets info because she wants to bring a cake from them to a dinner party she is attending. She described the cakes at the weddings as “The cakes were absolutely scrumptious--not only were they beautiful but the cake was moist and they were absolutely not too sweet, which I love.”

    If you want a yummy cake or sweet table - you will NOT be disappointed! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

    Wonderful to deal with. My daughter and I were shown many examples and enjoyed the sample tastings. This vendor worked around her unusual work schedule to meet with her.

    The cake was stunning and delicious. We received many compliments on it during the evening.

    I would highly recommend La Petite Sweet for weddings and I can't wait to try them for catering.

    Diane at La Petite Sweet is really talented, and was so great to work with for our wedding! I wanted a pretty winter-themed cake for our January wedding, but I hate the taste of fondant. So Diane was able to come up with an idea to do small petit fours (individual sized cakes) and place them on a tiered platter to resemble a wedding cake! We were able to get both red velvet and strawberry petit fours with a white chocolate shell (she makes similar flavored cake pops that she sells in the bakery regularly). I was so happy with the cake that night because it was not only beautiful, but we got so many compliments on how delicious the petit fours were!

    We also ordered our sweet table from La Petite Sweet, and it turned out just as gorgeous and delicious as the cakes! There is a huge selection of desserts and pastries they can do on a sweet table, and even if you ask for something specific, I don't think there is any bakery that Diane can't do! The prices at La Petite Sweet are very reasonable. Everything we had looked and tasted like it was made for royalty, but the costs were actually less than any major mass-production bakery we found.

    La Petite Sweet did an amazing job with our cake! We had a unique request, we wanted a pirate ship painted on to our cake. They did a beautiful job and of course it tasted AMAZING! Their red velvet with whipped Bavarian cream is seriously to die for! So glad I went with them!

    Diane was able to take pictures that we sent her of cakes that we liked and turn our cake into the most beautiful and perfect cake we could every imagine. The cake tasting was excellent and they were always willing to answer our questions through email or phone. We were happy with our cake and I was excited to be able to have a dairy free cake at my wedding!

    Amazing cake! When my husband and I did the cake cutting, I wanted to pull a chair right up to the cake table and finish the piece! :) I was extremely satisfied with the wedding cake. To top it off, I had a groom's cake that I had no idea what it was going to look like. I just gave Diane an idea/concept and she put it together perfectly. My husband was completely surprised and he loved it. The only reason I gave a 4 out of 5 for responsiveness is because it took a while to get a response via email/phone about a question or to receive a receipt of a payment made over the phone. I understand they are busy, but there should be someone there to promptly answer calls/emails. I had to wait about 2 weeks until I finally got an answer.
    Besides that minor problem, I was very happy with our cake. I would highly recommend La Petite Sweet to anyone!

    Meeting with Diane for our cake tasting was not the experience we had been hoping for. She did not give us very many options and seemed like she would have rather been anywhere but there. She did not seem excited to be helping us plan our wedding cake and seemed very stressed out. At least, our cake came out exactly as we had wanted it to on the day of. Maybe we just caught her on an off day, but our cake was delicious and everyone was raving about it at our reception! So thanks for the great cake, but customer service needs to be improved.

    La Petite Sweets did our wedding cake as they were contracted through our Banquet Hall, Abbington Banquets. I was happy with the tasting experience as everything was delicious and the baker seemed to be able to accommodate what we wanted. A blue, three layered, tired cake with fondant ribbon around each layer.

    On the wedding day the cake was extremely late and as a result our whole receiving line was thrown off by that. We didn't have the chance to take a few photographs in the ballroom with the cake that we had planned due to it being late.

    When the cake did arrive it was a complete disappointment. The blue cake was very unevenly colored and the fondant ribbons they promised around the cake layers were kind of hideous. When looking at the wedding photos, they were not the perfection I imagined or was promised.

    On a positive note, although the cake was late and not appealing to look at it was very delicious. It was a moist cake.

    I would not recommend this vendor to a friend because being late on someone’s wedding day is quite horrible. That is a day you really don't want to stress out.

    I did not have a great experience with Diane and La Petite Sweet. Everything was fine until the day of the wedding when there was no delivery of the cake and favors (we ordered cake pops as favors and place cards for table assignments) until about 20 minutes before the wedding ceremony. My family, wedding party and venue coordinator were running around like crazy trying to get in touch with anyone from the bakery while my fiance and I were trying to take our photographs. I was almost in tears during that time trying to figure out how we could make new place cards in 20 minutes. We were unsure if we were even going to get a delivery so my husband's aunt had to LEAVE to go to Jewel to get a cake for us to cut. When the delivery people finally came they had nothing but excuses to my family as to why they were late instead of an apology. They claimed that they "had been working for 3 days straight" like it was our fault for placing the order. If the order was too big, it should have been brought to my attention before the wedding!

    In an email response from Diane, I received a short line of apology with a long paragraph of more excuses. It just would have saved us all a lot of worry, frustration and anger on the day that should be the happiest of my life if someone would have called me or the venue if they were running late.

    On a positive note, the quality of the cupcakes and cake pops were delicious and were enjoyed by my guests.
