    Down town Wedding

    Mauro was so nice and made sure we had everything we needed, this venue is beautiful and affordable for the location and the view you get. Totally recommend to couples with a vision to wow your guests to a view of down town, next to the river walk.

    We booked our wedding in October and it was beautiful. The views and balcony was perfect for our fall wedding. We had our ceremony at the venue and the picture and scenery was so nice. All the uplighting brought It to life. Perfect venue for 150 or less and the staff made everything go smoothly. You can’t beat what you get for the price of this venue.

    My husband and I picked La Orilla for our ceremony and reception venue. The location is perfect! It is in the heart of downtown San Antonio so there are lots of attractions nearby for your guests and several hotels within walking distance of the La Orilla. The best part is that it overlooks the River Walk and has access from the building to the river. After the ceremony, we got a lot of great photos right along the river. We had the ceremony out on the balcony and the reception in the ballroom which made it easy for us and the guests (no transportation costs). The ballroom itself is beautiful and elegant, and can accommodate any style and arrangement. Mauro was great to work with; he answered all of our questions, and made the whole event easy and enjoyable.

    I fell in love with this venue for my special day. A venue right off the San Antonio Riverwalk for the value they offer is awesome! The venue was great for both my "rooftop ceremony" and reception! The tall windows and candle lit ambiance was great. It's downtown, so yes your guests will pay for parking, but quite frankly it's worth it (PS... Parking metered spots are FREE on Sunday... For now at least)!

    We chose this venue because of the location on the River walk. We were pleasantly surprised out how much more affordable it was compared to the other venues we were considering. Mauro, who manages the venue, is great. He was happy to accommodate any of our needs. They included all the tables, chairs, set up, and clean up for a great price. You have to book far in advance or get lucky with a cancelation but I would recommend this venue to anyone looking for a great spot for your wedding.

    All I can say is that this place is amazing!! We had a small wedding and it had plenty of room. The windows are amazing and the part that I loved the most were the candles that were put up on the ledges of the windows. Great outside balcony area right next to the river walk. We could not have been any happier with this place.

    If you have between 100-150 guests, there is no better place in San Antonio to have your wedding. The facilities are gorgeous! We had candles all over the room and it was gorgeous with their existing lighting. We rode a river barge down the river to arrive at our cocktail hour (all our guests were waiting on the balcony).

    I LOVE MAURO! The ballroom was magnificent. I'd call it simple elegance! Mauro was prompt and fast and let me ask all the questions I wanted! He also suggested a lot of good ideas for places to take photos, how to have our wedding and tips for downtown parking. The ballroom is VERY well priced and the list of approved caterers keeps growing! They've got affordable as well as ritzy caterers! My wedding could not have been better anywhere else!

    This venue and its services made or wedding day perfect. We were able to make any adjustments we need to even if they were last minute. The view from the balcony was unbelievable and the staff was very helpful. Thank you so much for everything.

    It's a GORGEOUS venue that overlooks part of the San Antonio Riverwalk. As the ballroom is used for many functions (proms, weddings. corporate meetings, etc) the dates are limited and fill up quickly. Payment needs to be made in full at the time of booking and is partially refundable if you need to cancel. It was always phone and email tag with the event coordinator though.
    The value can't be beat for location and space. $1,360.00 covered the ballroom, event coordinator,custodians/attendants; and a secondary room that we used for the children. One draw back was the qualifying catering list. The other was parking. Our guests that couldn't find parking around the building had to pay for valet at a nearby hotel or $10 at a parking lot. The security that is contracted through the venue dropped the ball. They didn't show up as they were supposed to. After getting a hold of the event coordinator, he came down immediately and the officer in charge of the company did as well.
