Ashley and Stephanie were absolutely amazing to work with. They were so accommodating with our every request and it felt like they genuinely cared about us throughout the whole planning process. They did everything they could to ensure our special day was the way we wanted it to be and we are so grateful to have worked with them!

We appreciated everything La Mirada Golf Course did for us to make our wedding day amazing. We were a bit worried halfway through planning the event because the original event sales director that we worked with got a new job. The golf course, however, made sure to team us up with Stefanie, their executive chef, who was able to answer all of our questions. She was incredibly accommodating and listened to all of our concerns and questions. The new event sales director who came, Ashley, was also amazing. From the moment we met her, we knew she would be a joy to work with. She was enthusiastic and positive. Ashley made sure to go over all our details with us during our last meeting, and she was understanding regarding some of the confusion we had regarding our plans. She responded to every single email we sent her. We appreciated that she posted stories of our day through the venue's Instagram page. We could tell she has an eye for all different kinds of events and is able to cater to the aesthetic that the couple prefers.

The entire event flowed relatively smoothly. The bride and bridesmaids were able to use their office space to get ready (they made it look cute), and the golf cart drivers were experts at transporting all of us to and from the reception area and the gazebo, which is where we chose to have our ceremony. Our guests raved about the appetizers served during cocktail hour. They said there was plenty to go around, and they especially loved the sliders, popcorn shrimp, and the meatballs. The bartenders worked hard to make our signature drinks possible. Our food came out on time, and the guests enjoyed the braised short ribs, which was recommended by Stefanie. We hired a churro truck, and it was able to park easily right in front of the Grand Ballroom to serve our guests.

Our photographer was able to work with the venue's setting and lighting really well on the day of the event. The photos of our guests that were taken by our guests themselves on their phones look really nice with the greenery and palm trees in the background! Something to keep in mind, however, is that we had to get out of the way for golfers at times.

Something we noticed was that the line for the bar was a bit long, but that's expected. We also observed that there might have been a lack of communication regarding our two cakes. We had a big wedding cake provided by the venue 's package through Patty's as well as another cake that we wanted as part of our dessert table. We're not sure when the miscommunication occurred, but not all of our guests got to enjoy both cakes, and we ended up throwing away so much of our Patty's cake. It might have been that we were not clear with our coordinators, but it would have been nice if the venue had served our guests the Patty's cake at their tables. Lastly, the champagne glasses at our sweetheart table were not filled, so we had to grab our coordinator's attention during the reception to ensure we had them filled in time for the toasts.

We had a great time celebrating our wedding at the golf course, and our guests thought the event was thoughtfully planned. Our goals from the beginning were to ensure that our guests could park easily and that they would be well-fed. Those goals were met! Thank you, La Mirada Golf Course!

The Process from start to finish was smooth.
Diana answered all questions we had through out the year regarding, meetings, phone calls, vendors etc. The Staff the day at the wedding were phenomenal. They accommodated our needs for the ceremony and it was amazing. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for venues.

Since day one Visiting La Mirada Event Venue I was impressed with Diana and the Venue. She was understanding and so helpful with all my questions. Even answered some questions I didn’t think to ask which if you’re planning a wedding is soooo nice! I never felt pressured and totally assisted throughout my planning process. Highly recommend!

Diana was such a great help in the whole planning process to offer solutions and make sure we stayed within our budget. We had around 220 guests and everyone said they had such a good time and loved the food (so important to us!)

La Mirada was a beautiful venue and they created an unforgettable experience. This will forever be one of my favorite days of my life. Diana, director of event sales, was amazing to work with. She made the planning experience so easy and stress free. She was very attentive to detail and gave advice/opinions for things I was unsure of. I am so happy to have worked with her. The La Mirada Golf Course was more than we could have asked for !!! The event director (Zelina) was a great go to person for any questions or concerns, she was very easy going and a a pleasure to have by my side helping me through this process! The food was great! From the appetizers to the different butters for the bread, the stuffed chicken to the cake ! Everything was great ! The staff was friendly and helpful! Our guest had a great time! Judy, the florist for the ceremony, was amazing!!!! All we did was tell her what flowers and colors and everything came out beautiful!!! There’s not enough good things to say about La Mirada Golf Course! They helped make our wedding day truly special !

My wedding was BEAUTIFUL! Thanks to Zelina and her team! Everything went very well, except a couple things that were unrelated to the venue. Zelina has your back through the whole process! If you send her an email she will respond within a couple hours or less! The food was amazing! we had the chicken with a alfredo sauce and veggies with mashed potato's, Shout out to the chef! Everyone loved the food. Also a big shout out to the wait staff, I never had to ask for a refill and always had magical refills on both my husband and I's champagne! All the request I had asked for were exactly how I wanted them. Zelina worked with my budget and what I had in mind for my big day. I am very pleased with La Mirada Golf Course and will recommend to anyone! Thank you again! I just wish It would have lasted longer, Enjoy every minute!!

I have not played golf here, but I did host our wedding here and can review that part. With less than 5 months to plan a wedding, we chose La Mirada Golf Course for not only it's beauty, but the amount of items included in their wedding packages, and we could not be happier. The event coordinator and staff guided us the whole way and that made the day of so much easier and more enjoyable; to be able to sit back and relax on such an important day is a big blessing. I highly recommend this venue!

Where do I even start? I am so happy that my (now) husband and I chose La Mirada Golf Course to be the place we'd be getting married. Zelina is the event coordinator at the Golf course and she did a fabulous job! I didn't have a wedding coordinator helping throughout the whole process of my wedding, so she stepped in to fill those shoes on the day of the wedding. I had a few hiccups at the beginning of the wedding day and she was able to make everything perfect for me! I cannot express how happy I was at the end of the day. She made all my guests happy with her exceptional service and communication with her team. I would highly recommend getting married here.

The food is great! The servers are great! The location is great! Nothing else tops it. The wedding packages are very practical as well.

I'm so glad my husband and I decided to go with La Mirada GC! We had been searching for months for a venue and everything was always way out of budget for what we wanted or if we were well under our budget, the place was a hole. La Mirada GC was just right budget wise! Most places have hidden costs (ex/ they show you pricing for a venue but tables, chairs, lighting, food, drink, etc isn't included), but that isn't the case with La Mirada GC. They give you a detailed description of what is included in your package (mostly everything you could need for a wedding) and we decided to go with their mid grade package. Everything was absolutely perfect! The ceremony site is wonderful, we went with the gazebo but they have a few options to choose from if you want something different. They are pretty flexible. Zelina has been the absolute best and so patient to make sure everything was just the way we wanted it! She pays attention to detail and keeps you informed if something needs to be addressed leading up to the event. Her customer service is impeccable, and she is very prompt in returning phone calls or emails to answer any questions you might have. I would definitely recommend everyone to choose La Mirada GC for their wedding, you will not be disappointed!

La Mirada Golf Course is an amazing venue. We were super stoke when they got new management. The pervious management was good but Zelina and her team made it even better. It felt like we paid for an upgrade, when they took over. Zelina and her team were amazing. Since day one, she was consistent. She would reply in a professional manner with appropriate time frame. She had all the paper work organize and dated. She took care of us since day one. The day of the wedding. The team went out and beyond with customer service and team work. I felt that they had things taken care of. They truly were a great team. I enjoyed our night very much and its because of them. They made it stress free. When asked to do something etc. get a towel, pick up an item left behind or anything for that matter, the team did it with a smile and effortlessly. Overall I would recommend this place to a future bride to be. The ballroom is spacious and well maintained. I loved it all!!!!

Overall, my husband and I were very content the way La Mirada Golf Course hosted our wedding. Zelina and her team made the wedding planning process as painful as possible. The staff at the La Mirada Golf Course took care of our every needs, exceeded our expectations and went above and beyond. I would recommend for anyone who is looking for a venue for their special event, to book with La Mirada Golf Course.

Just got married couple weeks ago at the golf course. Zelina, our event coordinator was beyond excellent. Communication never stopped leading up to the wedding date, and thankfully, the wedding turned out GREAT!! Location was great, however, I personally value the personnel more and I received A+ service from the team.

This is the venue that our family would choose for any event. They are the best in prices, flexibility, location. They are well stocked with anything you may need for a big or small celebration. We love the gazebo, because you can have your ceremony and party at the same place, without any worries. The staff are great. As well as Carlos and his crew. The variety of food they have is amazing.

Such a wonderful venue with great personnel willing to work with you every step of the way. Love it! Thank you sooooooo very much. You are amazing!

This team has been amazing. Deb has been so responsive and accommodating to all the questions we've had. Prices were terribly reasonable and they have so many fun menu options that you can use to make your event special and unique. We received the ceremony site for free, $10 dollars off the per-person rate and a free extra hour or free appetizer as a promo for getting married in June. We saved close to $2000 because of that. Excited for our wedding day and all they have done to get us excited about our day!

The La Mirada country club was amazing and the décor was stunning. I had an amazing time here and would recommend this place to anyone looking for a place for a wedding or any event. Helpful staff beautiful décor and the bartender was awesome. I implore you if you are planning an event in the La Mirada or surrounding areas please consider La Mirada Country it will not disappoint and it provide an atmosphere to create lasting memories.

Just had my wedding here a week ago and it was beautiful! Gazebo ceremony was gorgeous and the rexeption was just as amazing! Jennifer was great and if I were to do it again, it would be here! VERY happy in every aspect :)

I cannot believe we pulled off our wedding in 4 days! Thanks to Jennifer Renda at The Clubhouse at La Mirada Golf Course! Everything was perfect! The linens and napkins were beautiful! The food was perfect! I was so worried the food was not going to taste good, but omg it was so yummy! and the company they use for the cake is wonderful! everything about my wedding and the location was just perfect and everything we wanted and it was all done in 4 days!! My husband and I were married at The Clubhouse at La Mirada Golf Course, Sheren and Natalie were absolutely fabulous. It has been over year since my wedding on June 7,2009 and I still remember them like yesterday. They went over and beyond the call of duty. They were efficient and what they offer is amazing compared to what other sites are out there. The background lake at the gazebo gave us beautiful wedding pictures and a very elegant affair. I will be forever grateful to them for the excellence!

Very pretty venue and affordable. My now husband and I were looking for an elegant and affordable place to have our wedding reception that wouldn't break the bank. Diana was awesome and very professional. Pretty quick at responding to emails and concerns. La Mirada also works with good vendors, which makes it really easy to book a bakery, florist and dj and other things. The food was also really good. Guests raved about it. Overall a really good place to host an event. Thank you La Mirada.

La Mirada Golf Course is a easy location to find with ample amount of parking. Having both ceremony and reception all on the same location makes things a lot easier when having your wedding. Meeting with Zelina for the first time she comes off very professional and approachable to work with. Her communication responses are almost instant and they are clear and concise. Zelina did a fantastic job in explaining all the options that La Mirada Golf Course has to offer. She helped work around me and my wife budget and was able to squeeze us in on last minute decisions. I would recommend anyone who wants to do an outdoor wedding with easy accessible venues and vendors to choose from. Speak with Zelina, she's really great at what she does.

Had our wedding on 5/21/16. Location is beautiful, service is great. The Coordinators are very flexible and attentive to your questions. Gates were locked for our rehearsal even after it was arranged, which made it a bit stressful when your trying to locate someone to open gates for you after hours.

Day of the wedding, food service was amazing, I wish I could say the same about our bartender. She was very slow at making drinks and rude to our guests. She would pick and choose which guests to serve more than one drink to and which to serve 2+ drinks. Bartender worked slower during hosted bar hours.

I loved having my wedding here!!! as soon as i walked in with my husband we knew right away we wanted our wedding here. We had our ceremony outside and it was just baeutiful, the pond as the backround really made a perfect backdrop for pictures!!!! the staff was awesome during the whole reception part, they were always asking if everything was okay and they had it all set-up just how I imagined it. My favorite part of the venue was the little patio area where are guest got the chance to go outside and just hang-out.. It's just a great venue for a great price!!!!

This was one of our best choices since our budget was small and still wanted a great place for pictures and comfort. They made sure that we had everything as we wanted it and they were very patient and attentive to our guests and other members of the event.

We were a little concerned when we were informed our coordinator was replaced so quickly after we signed our contract, but Zelina did a good job getting us set up with the same promises that were made by the prior coordinator. We didn't get everything we were promised, but overall it worked out and our wedding day was amazing.

They people who work their are very nice....but just make sure they don't schedule any events too close to each other! Other than that their Gazebo is ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL and I love the pictures!

The Event Director is quite young and new to the wedding planning industry (since 2017, less than 1 year), but was transitioning well from her previous 1 year of corporate planning experience. Also, she was quick to answer my questions and/or calls. The main course during the food tasting was mediocre and many of the appetizers were prepackaged and not freshly made. We avoided those appetizer options so please ask questions. During the wedding, the main course and appetizers we chose were amazingly pleasant. The wedding food was better than at the tasting. The vegetarian option looked like a piece of art. The lighting inside the venue was wonderful and made for great pictures. The support staff was helpful and friendly. We got an outdoor wedding with the comfort of an indoor reception. If you have a photobooth, don't hide them in the back corner. Even though it was announced multiple times, it received minimal use. My biggest advice for this venue, don't let anyone tell you what is "normal" for their wedding site. It's your wedding so do what makes you comfortable. Other than that, the price for what we received was well worth it.

I only used them for My ceremony and got a great deal! I only had a few problems. One they switched planners on me without informing me, I just wrote and e-mail to who I thought was planning my wedding and someone else responded. Also, There is NO real bridal room..it ended up working out for me because my reception was somewhere different so I never entered the building but if you are planning to have your whole day there know that there is no place for he bride to really go except the restroom. The positives were that they were very flexible and understanding when i had to change my ceremony time and rehearsal time.

The location of the ceremony Gazebo is really a magnificent area for beautiful pictures. The food was great and the catering staff was really professional and polite. The only thing that really was annoying was they booked the ceremony area for another party and they ended coming over to the the reception hall to use the restroom and because we had a open bar we noticed their party coming into the bar and we ended having to pay for drinks.

This was our wedding reception venue. Not the fanciest of places, but once decorated looks as good as any other ballroom. We loved that it was a single event venue, so no confusion for our guest. We also liked the large terrace overlooking the golf course and the light coming in through the many windows overlooking the rolling hills. They were the most reasonable found. However, on the day of, not all my guest ate dinner. The waiters were too preoccupied with getting through dinner, that they weren't cautious with who hadn't been served. There were guest in the same table that didn't get served. There was an excess of food left over and we were never notified, we found out weeks after our wedding through another vendor. There was a guest that asked for a salad, the waiter stated that there weren't anymore, but when she demanded she be served a salad, it was brought out. Also, some guest stated that they were never served any cake, when there was plenty left over. There was a set up fee that came to us as a surprise to set up our rentals, when the contract stated that set up was included. The stage for our band was never built as agreed, they offered to set it up, but guest were already arriving and the DJ had placed some equipment in that area and I felt as if the timing wasn't right anymore.

If LMGC could get it together and be more professional, this would be a great venue. My husband and I were disappointed!

Our overall experience with this place was horrible. For a place that's suppose to make everything easier (since you are paying them A LOT of money) they sure made many things very hard. I can't think of how many times they had us stressing out! For starters they changed coordinators on me 3 times and every time the new person had no clue what I had requested or what was going on. It's really sad that this place is super unorganized because they have so much potential to be amazing! The last coordinator we had was definitely a lot better but I was already super overwhelmed and upset at the whole situation I wasn't able to give them any extra stars. I sure hope they turn this place around for good.

My family paid for the highest package at the La Mirada Country Club, the platinum package and it was not what we paid for. I was promised a wedding planner with the package, which started off okay. I was planning my wedding from Oklahoma, so the wedding planner was essential for me to help with the details since I was so far away. However, over the whole year that I was working with the Country Club, the wedding planner was switched on me 4 times. The first time, I was not informed of the change and I called and emailed the ex-planner for weeks before I was contacted back and informed she was no longer working there. I then visited the venue during vacation and met with the temporary fill-in, who had no idea who I was, when my wedding was, or any of the details of the platinum package. She could not answer any of my grandmother’s or my questions. I was alarmed, but since it was still about 8 months from the wedding day, I wasn’t too worried. After I went back home, the planner was switched again, and I was not made aware until two weeks later, again only after repeated emails and calls to the ex-planner. Finally, the new planner Rita and I completed all the details. I came out to California two weeks before the wedding, planning on a meeting at 1pm and that day I was emailed at 7am stating that Rita was no longer working for the venue. I called the general manager, Steve, who had no idea I was coming in for a meeting, and even asked me if I had picked my food yet (ten days before the wedding!). Finally, I met the new replacement, Roxanne, the day before the wedding at the rehearsal. She had no idea about the dessert table that we had ordered, which really panicked me.
The day of the wedding, the air conditioner was not working, and my mother and uncle had to repeatedly ask for someone to make sure that it was going to be fixed. Roxanne had only set up 9 tables, after meeting with her the DAY before and organizing for 10.

We paid a wedding package, paid deposit on September-October of 2012 for event in June 2013.
- We couldn't get a tasting until 30 days from our wedding - the catering manager didn't tell us about the tasting that occurred two weeks after we paid our first deposit.
- La Mirada LIED to us about what linens were available, they tried to charge us extra for the colors we wanted because they were "specialty" colors.
- They were impossible to get ahold of to book tastings, resolve linens issues, schedule visits with vendors, GET FINAL BEO, etc.
- Once we had the tasting and finalized details, we didn't get a BEO in time for the 10 day confirmation/ final payment.
- They called me threatening to cancel my wedding 10 days out when THEY failed to provide a final BEO
- The venue was promised at 9 AM, but it was still closed and locked past 10 AM
- The venue was still dirty from an event the night before, literally garbage on the floor. My vendors had to wait until it was cleaned, the staff brought out the correct tables and chairs and set up before my vendors could do their work and set up.
- My florist was delayed by La Mirada's late opening, so in turn we had to wait for the florist at the church, too!
- We paid for appetizer platters with the package but they weren't set up or available for guests.
- We arrived to the gazebo for photos at 5PM and had to call and wait for someone to open it!
- The A/C in the venue went completely out... A GUEST BOUGHT A FAN AT CVS TO BRING TO THE VENUE.
- The contract provided for water, iced tea, and fruit punch at the tables- but not provided, and the tap water ran out from all the tables!
- There was NO CHAMPAGNE for the champagne toast!
- I almost vomited from the heat in the room- couldn't even eat.
- They called me Monday morning accusing me of owing money after admitting a few things went wrong!!!
