Most epic night!

I am ASHAMED I have taken this long to write this review.
FIVE STARS is not enough and a review is not enough to show the gratitude and happiness La Jolla brought to our wedding. From Day 1, Betsy went above and beyond, in everything. She always was one step ahead with suggestions, took the time to make sure I was happy and always was on top of our wedding date details. To begin, the venue is absolutely gorgeous, perfectly situated by Miracle Mile with parking all around. The venue has been remodeled for cocktail hour and the space is just perfect! It works so well from the cocktail hour and the transition to dinner. THE FOOD OMG! It was TOO good, not cause it was our wedding and I always make fun of the older people commenting on the food, but I have now become that person after my experience with La Jolla. If you have a chance to get desserts shots, DO IT! We could not stop talking about them!!! AND the staff gave the leftover ones to me in a pan to take home...without even me asking. THE STAFF I have to mention the staff. They were the most courteous and humble staff ever, they saw my husband and I sitting out the cocktail hour cause we were already so exhausted and wanted a breather. Someone came and brought two trays with one of each of our hors’ d’oeuvres, it was such a sweet sweet gesture. AND they were all amazing 😉. If you have a chance to have your cake with Cake Lounge they did not disappoint either! Again I became the old ladies commenting on the cake so so so yummy and moist and so many options. DJ Duni was THE BEST just so easy to work with EVERYONE was so easy to work with. So honest so humble funny just great amazing people. OH THE PHOTO BOOTH! You have got to get the mirror photo booth!! But my final note is reserved solely for Betsy, our perfect night was perfect because of her. She took her time on our day as if it was the only one and it meant the world to us. Like my whole family knew “Betsy” 🥰. We have beautiful memories of a beautiful day because of the wonderful people that work at La Jolla. The food, the music the venue everything was a plus. If you are thinking of this venue DO IT, you will not regret it!

Excellent Experience - 12.22.24 Wedding

I just celebrated my wedding in December of 2024 and Raul was an incredible planner, day of coordinator and partner in making our wedding a success! Gracias Raul por hacer de nuestro dia una experiencia tan inolvidable. Te agradecemos por todo. The food and decor was incredible. We also were able to comprehensively create our menu, do our cake tasting and create our song inspirations with the DJ. Overall, we are so happy! It was exactly what we wanted. Amazing venue

I can’t say enough wonderful things about La Jolla Ballroom and Raul, the wedding coordinator! My wedding day was absolutely perfect, and it was all thanks to Raul’s dedication, attention to detail, and incredible organization. From the moment we began planning, Raul went above and beyond to make sure every detail was taken care of, helping bring my vision to life effortlessly.

The venue itself looked absolutely stunning—it was everything I dreamed of and more. Every element was set up perfectly, creating a magical atmosphere that left everyone in awe. Our guests have been raving about how beautiful everything looked, and I’ve received so many compliments on how flawlessly the day flowed.

Raul made the entire process so smooth, and I felt completely at ease knowing he was in charge. If you’re looking for a dream wedding experience, La Jolla Ballroom and Raul are simply the best. Thank you for making my wedding day everything I ever wished for and more! 💖

Phenomenal Service Beautiful Venue

I searched far and wide for a venue that would work with us for a high school reunion. I am so grateful to have come across La Jolla. From the moment I met Raul, he has gone above and beyond to make this event a reality. He is a true visionary, and has been able to bring the event to life with his wonderful ideas. If you want a beautiful venue, perfectly located in Coral Gables, where the staff is truly invested in the success of your event, look no further!

Best Venue Ever!

At the beginning of the pandemic we had another venue that canceled our contract in the middle of the year. We were desperately looking for another venue just 6 months before the wedding. La Jolla Ballroom helped us tremendously due to the consequences. They were able to accommodate everything that we wished for and More!
Betsy and Glorymar were wonderful, they really went above and beyond for us to have the wedding of our dreams.
The food was amazing and the drinks too!
We are so glad that we found La Jolla Ballroom, everything turned out better than expected. Thank you so much we are completely happy with your service.

Unforgettable Wedding!

We got engaged and had no experience with wedding planning. After narrowing down a handful of venue choices, we visited two. The first was in Boca Raton, the second was La Jolla in Coral Gables. There’s a reason there wasn’t a third venue to visit.
When we first arrived at La Jolla we were truly impressed with the overall feel of the venue. It’s located in an historic building and it’s simple elegance shines through.

We were blessed to work with Yanel, whom we felt an instant connection with. We relied heavily on Yanel for her input and wealth of suggestions for other vendors such as florists, cake bakers, DJs, musicians, officiants, and photographers…in fact as time went on Yanel even provided contact information for makeup artists and hairstylists too.

LaJolla made the planning flow seamlessly. We picked our table settings and decorations through a related vendor. We were able to look at as many table clothes and accessories as needed in order for us to feel comfortable with our selections.

Yanel’s experience and professionalism proved to be invaluable to us. She was always a text or phone call away. She always provided prompt responses to the little things that popped up.

Our food tasting was unforgettable. La Jolla offers a vast amount of culinary choices. After settling on our choices we were impressed by the way LaJolla and it’s staff made us feel.

As our big day was getting closer, Yanel and my wife were in frequent communication. We had our rehearsal the week of the wedding. Again, Yanel put us at ease and patiently explained what we should expect and what we needed to do. We were at ease because of Yanel…that alone is priceless during your wedding week.

Next up was the big day. I had a sneak peek at the reception hall. Jaw dropping is the best way to describe what I saw. The tables looked exquisite. The bar was nicely stocked and looked like a bar at an exclusive club. The overall charm of LaJolla was everywhere I looked.

Hours later, I showed up. Many of our guests were seated. The violinist Yanel suggested was playing beautifully. The area the ceremony was being held looked wonderful.
At this point, Yanel’s help proved invaluable. She made sure we had our boutonnieres and corsages. She ensured my beautiful bride arrived and entered at the precise moment. The entire ceremony was flawless thanks to Yanel.
We didn’t participate with the cocktail hour, but everyone I spoke to raved about the hors d’oeuvres and drinks. We were busy with photos and once again Yanel assisted us well. She ushered us around the venue with our photographer for some great photos. She also ensured we were fed hors d’oeuvres.

The entire reception was special. The music and lighting were perfect. The temperature was ideal. No one complained about being too cold or hot. The food was presented the exact same way as it had been during our tasting. The food was delicious.

I also need to praise the LaJolla staff and servers. No one waited long for drinks from the bar. Water and wine glasses were constantly being refilled throughout the night. When it was finally over, the staff was still as pleasant as they had been from the very start.

In the end, many of our guests lingered because they had such a great time. Once again, Yanel and the staff were gracious. No one hurried us.

We categorically recommend LaJolla for your wedding. You will have to look long and hard to find a better overall venue. The personalized service at all stages of our experience cannot be easily duplicated. When you factor in the great value LaJolla offers, you would be wise to have your wedding at LaJolla too!

We will forever be grateful for Yanel and the entire LaJolla staff! They each played a vital role in making our wedding day special! Thanks LaJolla!

The catering service was Awesome

The food and service was on point everyone at the party loved the food and had great flavor and was warm. The appetizers were so good. The captain of my wedding was Mario and he made sure everything was great and going how it should. I had the help from Jeda who was super nice and made sure I had everything. Thank you all so much for everything

La jolla beautiful spot with the best service in town

Style and Class

I always new I would have my reception here. The outside alone is so impressive. From the start Yanel took care of us as if we were family. She showed the same amount of joy we had for our special day. She took the time to explain the options that worked best for us. She recommended outstanding vendors to work with. She set up everything as I wanted for the special day. She watched out for me like a sister. The staff under Mario was outstanding as well. Everyone was complimenting the food and the service . I would highly recommend this venue for any special occasion.

Beautiful Venue

La Jolla was wonderful!!! It is such a beautiful venue. Our wedding was yesterday and everything was perfect. The price was reasonable and they were accommodating to all of our requests. Mario was our coordinator and he was amazing. Everything turned out perfect, exactly as planned. He made sure that everything was perfect at all times. We received many compliments from our guests. The serving staff was very friendly. DJ Leo was great. Everyone that we encountered from the very beginning, including the vendors, were so friendly and such a pleasure to deal with. They all made it so easy and stress free. Thank you so much for making our special day so wonderful!!! :)

The pefect venue for the perfect day! La Jolla held my hand through the planning process guiding and offering me options to make the day I’ve been dreaming about since I was a child even more special. From the cateters to the wedding coordinator, everything was exceptional! I truly have no complaints. The service they offer is like no other, and their partner vendors are truly the best in town. Everything looked absolutely beautiful, even better than I could’ve ever imagined. I will never forget my wedding day, and my husband and I will be forever grateful with La Jolla for helping us make our dream wedding become a reality. If I could do it all over again, I will choose them again and again. In fact, my husband and I are already talking about using the same venue when we eventually renew our vows. My twin daughters celebrated they're quinceañera this weekend at the Coral Gables Woman's Club. La Jolla catered our event and A Touch of Class did everything else. They were both beyond professional. They ensured that every detail was covered from beginning to end. The food was delicious. I would recommend them without hesitation. It was amazing. 8 month ago we arrived to La Jolla and we loved it. The place and the attention was wonderful. Last Friday was the wedding and it was a Magic Day so to the attention we got from all the members of La Jolla Ballroom Staff. Thanks a lot to Rosario Sanchez, Mariana Manjarrez and to Mario Camargo for doing that night such an special one. We found in one place all what I dream for that day. Decoration, DJ Dunny , Cake and LUIS Blanco photographer were an essential part of this special day. Thanks a lot to all!!!!

Absolutely perfect! From the first day we began working with our coordinator, Yanel, we knew we had found the right place to celebrate our wedding. She was very professional, communicative, honest and an overall great asset as we planned our same-sex, Jewish & Mexican destination wedding from NYC. During the event, she exceeded our expectations by making sure everything ran smoothly and all guests were attended to. Through La Jolla we were connected to wonderful vendors that made that night unforgettable. We honestly could not have asked for a better experience working with La Jolla and we highly recommend it!

La Jolla was an amazing venue, I am so happy to have had my reception here. Since the wedding I have received countless compliments on how beautiful the reception was. The décor, the food, the music and the ambiance was absolutely perfect. Yanel did a wonderful job in accommodating us, we planned this wedding from the other side of the country and had not seen the venue until the week of the wedding, Yanel and all the vendors met with our parents to plan things out, communicated with myself and my husband to make sure we were in the loop and answered all questions we had promptly. The day of the wedding, Yanel and the La Jolla team really stepped up and made sure everything ran smoothly and took care of everything so that we could have a wonderful time. Thank you to everyone here for helping create such a special day for us and our families!

My husband and I had our wedding reception last 21st of December 2017 at La Jolla Ballroom and we are extremely pleased with the services! Coral Gables is such an amazing romantic area of the city, La Jolla building is beautiful, the venue is big and clean and bright and amazing for such an important moment and the people, all the staff s are AMAZING! The food, the flowers, the linens, the bathrooms, the music, we just loved everything! We don't live in Florida, we live in The Netherlands and we booked our venue in March 2017. Next time that I was in La Jolla was for the wedding and in between we managed to do everything via email and some phone calls. It was a challenge but Yanel was such a sweetheart and proactive person who helped us a LOT so we could enjoy not only the wedding day but also the preparation! This was an all inclusive package and it did helped a LOT considering the long distance and the different time zones! Yanel, I was so happy seeing you again in the wedding day. i had the best experience especially with Yanel as our coordinator. Everything was great from the food, to the drinks and appetizers. The DJ was really great as well. there were really no hiccups, everyone was really great and food was AMAZING! i have very high standards and the service here is great and you cant beat their prices.

We are more than happy on how everything turned out with La Jolla. We did our ceremony and reception with them. Dayriela was great helping us select our package. They work with great vendors! We loved our linens, flowers, cake and DJ. They offer great value for the price! The food and appetizers were delicious. Mariana and Armando were amazing and worked hard to make everything perfect. Mariana is a sweetheart and very accommodating. Armando was great making sure everything was on point. We had such a great time. Our guest commented on how our wedding was one of the best they have ever been to. Everything was beautiful. We are very happy with no regrets!

La Jolla is an amazing venue! I had a great time, they exceeded my expectations and handled absolutely everything. The manager was very undersatnding. La jolla ballroom is an excellent place for a weeding. Their staff and specially armando nazco coordination , was amazing. Armando was able to recreate my weeding dream. Believeme, this is the best place for your weeding. The salon is beatiful. The food by the chef jose luis was outstanding. The service was excellent. Everything in general was more that i dream for. If you're planning to get married La Jolla Ballroom is definitely the best place you could ever choose. The service, the place, the decoration, the food! Even the vendors, Rick Morales and his assistant Jimmy are awesome and very fun to work with; Touch of Class Linens offers beautiful things; Cake Lounge (our preferred vendor) was also amazing, and finally the actual staff at La Jolla - Rosario and Danny are truly wonderful people that made every effort to help us make our day perfect. So from planning stages we were very happy with the assistance, the generosity and passion of the staff at La Jolla. In our particular case, we had a period of uncertainty about the date of the wedding due to an issue with an important family member becoming very ill, and Rosario gave us all her support and understanding and really helped us through the process. Everything was spectacular, and truly made our big day even more special. From the bride's standpoint I enjoyed every moment, but being true that the night goes so fast I wish I had more time to savor each minute; however, my guest filled me in with the details that I might have missed during the party and they were even more delighted than I was! This tells you a lot about the overall experience of a place, because in the end you want to make it day a memorable one for everyone and La Jolla certainly did! Hands down the best venue in Miami.

La Jolla is a hidden gem in the heart of Coral Gables. The staff in la Jolla were professional and courteous. They also made us feel like family, especially being "Los Consentidos de La Jolla". The spoiled rotten ones in terms of endearment. The ballroom was exactly what we were looking for our wedding celebration as it was not a traditional one. We met our Wedding Planner- Daniela; who embraced our commitment and showed great knowledge and support. Right away, she made us feel at home. Through the process, we met some great vendors and not so great vendors provided by La Jolla. The vendors we chose were AMAZING!!! Needless to say, they made our whole experience easy and enjoyable. The day of our wedding is one Richard and I will remember for the rest of our lives. Although nervous about how things were going to turn out, La Jolla and staff made our dreams come true. La Jolla made us feel like kings with their expertise in carrying out such big event. They showed compassion and charisma to us and all of our guests. Their professionalism was exhibited through in the ballroom the whole night. The décor, flowers, delicious cuisine and music were out of this world. They were even accommodating to our pup knowing how important was the presence of our furry child (yes, with some restrictions). Overall, this was an unforgettable experience made in "heaven." Thank you La Jolla. We will be forever grateful!! Thank you Daniela for your wonderful hospitality.

We could not have chosen a better venue to host the reception of our wedding. From the personalized service to the exquisite food everything was perfect. Maria Belen is an amazing, patient, and dedicated planner that will assist you from day 1 at La Jolla Ballrooms. All of the staff: bartenders, servers, DJ can deliver five star service through professionalism and commitment. They make each guest feel special despite of their age. I am a very organized person that has a hard time letting go, but I trusted Maria Belen and her abilities and she delivered the wedding of my dreams. Every time you call even if is multiple times a day she is always patient, always kind, and always willing to help. Maria Belen will never tell you NO for an answer she will make it happen. My husband and I picked this venue for its proximity to the church we got married in, for its hardwood flooring (I dislike banquet space with carpet), its service since before we signed the contract, its beautiful exterior facade, and its modern floor plan. If you are looking for a wedding venue in Miami and want five star personalized service give Maria Belen a call, she will help you every step of the way and you will never feel overwhelmed!

The planning process up until and including our wedding day was great! The staff was attentive and available to answer any questions and meet briefly for any particular reasons. The pricing was reasonable and offered quality service, cuisine, decoration and flowers. I would absolutely refer La Jolla Ballroom to everyone and anyone because they made our wedding day a dream come true!

My experience at la Jolla was AMAZING! The staff and their vendors went above and beyond to ensure that everything was better than perfect on my special day. Especially Daniela Zapata who took care of me since day one to help me plan and coordinate my destination wedding. Thanks to Daniela and her team I was able to enjoy my wedding planning experience and have the best day of my life that surpassed my expectations. I would 100% completely recommend la jolla and Daniela for your wedding! The food, music, service, ambiance and everything in between was more than what I wished for and the guests were delighted as well!

My wedding was an absolute success! From start to finish, Maria Belen from La Jolla Ballroom made sure everything was exactly as we discussed. She went out of her way to accommodate our ideas and she also had great suggestions of her own, like our fun Mojito Bar! The hors d'oeuvres, cocktails, dinner, and bar selection were all spectacular. The vendors included in the package were fantastic and very professional to work with leading up to the Big Day! The saxophone player, Raul Guzman, during the cocktail played beautiful and was very entertaining, all of my guests couldn't stop talking about him. DJ Duni made sure everyone was dancing the night away and helped me create the perfect timeline for the wedding, he was amazing. The flowers by Ricardo Morales were so beautiful. He created the perfect ambiance in the ballroom with the center pieces. I was IN LOVE with my bouquet and my bridesmaids bouquets were also gorgeous. Our cake was elegant and delicious by cake designer Cynthia at E&M Sweets. Lastly, A Touch of Class provided the linens which brought it all together. I cannot thank everyone enough for making this special day so perfect and fun. I highly recommend this venue for any event. THANKS AGAIN!

Maria was the best! She went out of her way to please us to make the planning stress free. Even when one of the vendors she recommended almost didn't follow through, she pulled it off and got them to do it. The Bar Mitzvah for my Son was the great. We had the service and the reception at La Jolla and it flowed great. The food was great and the cake was great too. I would definetly recommend La Jolla to everyone!

Wendy & Jose's Wedding: Fantastic place to celebrate a wedding! When you have such an important event in your life like is a wedding, la Jolla is THE choice. Excellent location in Coral Gables, extremely elegant and warm attention. I might seems an unrealistic review but I had so much fun and so many good critics from my family and friends, that I felt that everything was fantastic! There was blonde lady from the working staff, I don't remember her name, that was constantly around me, helping me with the dress, telling me what to do to make things funnier, she seemed like my mom in the wedding. I did not have a single headache, and the working staff made sure that both my husband and I, had a beautiful wedding night. Thank you!! :-)

I am one happy bride! I had the opportunity to sneak a peek into my ballroom while it was empty for pictures and I was floored! I think I was without words. Everything was absolutely beautiful, everything was executed exactly the way I planned and yet my expectations were far exceeded. Maria Belen was a pleasure to work with! She was always ready and willing to help, she is genuine and professional. She made sure everything was perfect on my wedding day. Rick Morales, one of La Jolla's vendors, really outdid himself with my flower arrangements. They were jaw-dropping beautiful and without hesitation helped with placing table numbers on the vases as pre-planned. DJ Duni, another vendor from La Jolla, did an amazing job! Absolutely everyone was out of their chairs and dancing by the second song. My husband is American and I am Hispanic, with our families combined, the diversity in music was very important. It is evident that DJ Duni is experienced and passionate about his work, he kept my guests on the dance floor all night. Last but not least, I heard excellent reviews from my guests about the food. They raved about every single aspect of my wedding. I couldn't have imagined a more perfect day. I want to thank Maria Belen and La Jolla's team for making that day the best and most effortless day in my life!

Our experience with La Jolla Ballroom really exceeded our expectations. The over all value for what we received and the quality was the same as you would receive at any of the competing hotels. The food was excellent including the appetizers and bar service. Anything we requested, they were very accommodating. Our wedding coordinator Maria Belen made all the difference to be honest. From day one she made us feel special and was genuinely excited for us and our wedding. She was able to make things happen - seamlessly and smoothly. During the planning stages we communicated and met with Maria several times - she gave excellent suggestions and was very very flexible to make us happy. We feel that because of the wonderful staff and direction of Maria, we had a great experience with our reception. We even had our own waitress solely dedicated to us the bride and groom.... Which we loved. At the end of the night, the LJB team packed up all our belongings, decor , items etc neatly and helped us load in our limo. We recommend anyone to have an event at La Jolla - it really is a gem in the heart of coral gables!!!

Rosario Arevalo la unica palabra que te describe para mi es una Jolla, Tu Rosario Arevalo eres otra Jolla, tu manera de tratar a tus clientes es excelente, tienes paciencia , siempre una sonrisa y siempre tienes esas palabras de consuelo y de dar tranquilidad a las novias que estan nerviosas y tienen mas de 100 preguntas y eso vale Oro. Karina Grooscors eres la diseñadora estrella de la Jolla, hasta el mismo dia en la mañana te llame para haber como podiamos arreglar un error de #hashtag y me dijistes tranquila, disfruta tu dia que yo lo arreglo, y asi mismo fue, muchisimas gracias tambien ... y por Ultimo quiero darle las gracias a Sandra la encargada de atender a los invitados Divina persona muy atenta con todos al igual que el staff de meseros, La comida deliciosa, desde los appetizers hasta el pan. DJ Duni expectacular, yo estaba un poco preocupada ya que la musica que escojimos era mas Hip Hop que latina, pero Duni supo exactamente que poner y cuando . La Jolla Ballroom tienen un excelente Team Work y por eso estan creciendo y van a llegar hasta el Cielo . :) Gracias otra vez a todos.

My husband and I had such an amazing evening on our wedding day thanks to La Jolla and especially Maria Belen Castillo and Karina! Karina was so nice to take over for Maria when she went on maternity leave and helped plan our wedding and even stayed a little later for my rehearsal. They both made sure I met with the vendors to get exactly what I wanted. Maria made sure everything was done on our wedding day to my liking and was so sweet to us on our special day! La Jolla handled catering and decor for our February wedding reception at the Coral Gables Woman's Club. In the months after our big day, we've received so many compliments from both family and friends on how beautiful our venue was decorated - everything from the table settings and linens to the flowers and candles. I wanted our venue to look very romantic (but classy not cloying for a Valentine's Day wedding!) and they delivered. We also received many compliments on the delicious food and signature cocktail, a spicy margarita. I also loved our red velvet cake!

Our reception was also a ton of fun thanks to the hora loca. It was spectacular! A guy on stilts came out to get the party started and though I expected he might be there just 15 minutes to get everyone out on the dance floor, he partied with us for the better part of an hour. He had everyone out of their seats! Everyone had a blast and those pictures are incredible.

Thanks, La Jolla, for putting together a beautiful, fun, and memorable wedding for us.

I have nothing but great things to say about La Jolla Ballroom and their team of vendors! I got engaged in October 2013 and started looking for a venue immediately thereafter, I went to several places in Miami but when I saw La Jolla I fell in love with the ballroom and the package was very appealing for the price and what it included! My wedding took place April 19 2015 and was a dream come true. Rosario was amazing to work with from closing the deal all the way though planning the details for the big day! Towards the end I also worked with Karina, who was present at my wedding as the event coordinator. Karina is very detail oriented, she had everything at my reception exactly as I had asked her. I only had to drop off my decoration and items to be used at my reception and she placed everything exactly as requested and beautifully decorated the day of. She was extremely attentive the day of my wedding, always near bride and groom and asking if we needed a drink, or if we needed help. At the end of the night she collected all of my belongings into the same box where I delivered them and handed them to my mom. I didn't have to worry about anything. The rest of Team La Jolla was also amazing, the flowers were BEAUTIFUL!!!! The linen variety to chose from in the package were fabulous, the cake was not only beautifully made but delicious too; my guests kept complimenting on how good it tasted. The DJ went above and beyond for us!!! DJ Duni rocked and put everyone to dance at our wedding: I mean EVERYONE!!! We had a blast!!! The bartenders and food were also a plus. If you want a perfect wedding, book with LA JOLLA!!!! I am blessed to have found this place and forever grateful for making my dream wedding an unforgettable reality!!!

What a wonderful experience! Thanks to all the staff we were able to plan a wedding in less than a month! Since the first day we went to go see the place we knew it was the right place to have this event. Everyone at La Jolla was extremely professional and kind. They work as a team and are wonderful! I personally worked with Karina and she was excellent. She exceeded my expectations! We had an all Vegan wedding and they catered to our every need. Going above and beyond. All my guest were amazed on how delicious the food was and the decor was impeccable! The experience that La Jolla gave us for our wedding was truly unforgettable. Everything from the first meetings to the final details. I'm a bit late on my review but better late than never right? La Jolla Ballroom is the ideal venue to have your wedding. From the moment I walked in the first time, I had my heart set on this venue (I had visited several venues around Miami prior to visiting La Jolla), I was enchanted by the staff, particularly Rosario, who is a dream to work with. The venue itself is beautiful and elegant interiorly and exteriorly. I had a very smooth journey planning the wedding with the help of the La Jolla staff. They made my dream wedding vision come to life. If I had any questions or concerns, they were immediately addressed. They work together with the best vendors to provide top quality supplies, from the table linens to the cake and centerpieces, it's evident they only use the finest of products while still offering a very reasonable price. On the day of the wedding, they managed to mesmerize me once again with the beautiful set up that was even better than I had imagined. The lovely Ana Maria was there to assist me in anything I needed along with her trusty staff. The drinks were amazing, prepared by what I believe to be one of of the best bartenders/mixologist I've met in my adult life. The food was delicious, the presentation was exquisite, the attention from the waiters was impeccable, not a glass was ever empty, not a napkin was left behind. Throughout the whole event, the tables were immaculate. DJ Duni rocked the house all night long, setting the mood during dinner with classic songs of my choice and had the all of my guests dancing the night away, from my 6 year old nephew to my 75 year old aunt who very rarely dances! My daughter celebrated her 15th birthday at this event. She did not want your typical quinces.. And the event was everything she dreamed of. From the decor, to the food and staff, we did not stop getting compliments. All her friends had a blast and I have nothing but great things to say about everyone at La Jolla!

I haven't received nothing but positive feedback from my wedding guests about this venue on my big day, the place looked truly gorgeous, extremely elegant, one of my co-workers told me they felt like they were in a fancy restaurant and not in a reception hall which was something that was very important to me I didn't want my wedding to have the usual banquet hall cheap look & I wanted something that looked simple yet elegant but that didn't break the bank at the same time and La Jolla did just that. They were super attentive to all of my needs the day of the wedding and to my guests as well the only complaint I have is that nobody really called me to provide me with the vendors information I actually had to call and request it, I don't know if I was under the wrong impression or not but when you pay 15K you expect a certain type of treatment, also I was under the impression that my balance was paid in full since I had a zero balance invoice however when I showed up to turn in my seating chart a week before the wedding I was advised I had a balance due because my plate and the groom's plate was not included in the 15k they had quoted me for my guests and also I HAD to pay for all the vendors meals which turned out to be 5 for me this upset me a bit because this was not said to me upfront and I ended up going over the budget. I'm choosing to give a 5 star review because I feel like the day of the wedding they made up for any inconvenience I had, and because of their payment flexibility so ladies just ask as many questions as possible no question is a silly question

I had my wedding at La Jolla Ballroom and it was the best choice I ever made! The venue it self is such a beautiful place. I would recommend La Jolla Ballroom to everyone as they blew my expectations away and made all my dreams come true! Everything was perfect! I worked with Maria and Karina who both did such a wonderful job. I had found La Jolla a month before my wedding date and they have good packages so they took care of everything making it totally stress free! With the way everything turned out you would of have never guessed that everything was planned in less then a month it truly looked like it had planned out for an entire year! There entire staff was very professional, kind, and beyond expectations. I am thankful for everyone who took part in the wedding! I strongly recommend La Jolla Ballroom to everyone! I got my fairytale wedding thanks to La jolla ballroom!

Edit: How could I forget to mention the food!! The food was to die for! It was so delicious I loved all of it. I had chosen Caesar salad, stuffed chicken with spinach and cheese, home made mash potatoes, and the pasta with the alfredo sauce. Everything was very delicious all of my guest loved the food and I didn't have any complaints about the food!!

My experience with La Jolla Ballroom was one to remember. My husband and I decided to have our wedding at the last minute, and I wanted a place where they would handle everything. This type of venue is not very common around my area, but I needed help with all of the details. I contacted La Jolla through the referral of this website and they immediately gave me an estimate and told me they could help with everything. I was expecting to spend a bit less since it was a small wedding, but it was definitely money well spent. The venue is beautiful and romantic. The staff was courteous, and assuring at all times. I met with the distributors for each section and was pleased with my choices. The final event was ideal, it was what I had envisioned. Both my husband and I are very pleased with La Jolla Ballroom and we have a few friends that have already asked about the venue. I give La Jolla the thumbs up and have definitely recommended them to have their weddings here.

The team at La Jolla Ballroom is excellent, I had the great opportunity to work with them for my wedding date and my office holiday party. But the reason of this review is for the office event, which was the BEST ever done. if you have plan events for your co-works you know how hard is to make everybody happy, well I could you tell you that La Jolla Ballroom was a HIT and still is because for sure we are coming back. the event was amazing from the beginning to end, every single detail was taking care of, the process was easy to plan with the office and planners. I am forever grateful that this venue was mentioned to me by a friend.
This venue is really a GEM! Maria Belen and all her staff really made my wedding night everything I had never imagined. But even more importantly THEY made the PROCESS such a BREEZE!

I wanted a simply and classy party and that was exactly what was delivered. Many of my guests had never heard of La Jolla before and all they could do was rave about how wonderful the venue was. The drinks were outstanding! The food was DELICIOUS!!

When my husband and I arrived we had drinks and yummy hors d'ourves ready for us upstairs. Maria Belen made sure everything was perfect before we were introduced! The whole evening anything we asked for we received. The service at this venue is impeccable! I still cant get over at how well everything went and how beautiful everything looked.

CONCLUSION: Maria Belen is an amazing wedding planner. If you are looking to have the wedding of your dreams CONTACT HER and BOOK LA JOLLA you will not be disappointed!!!

I have attended three events in La Jolla Ballroom and I also organized my graduation party with them. All those events in La Jolla Ballroom were exceptional!! For my graduation, La Jolla Ballroom's team made sure that everything was exactly as we wanted. I organized the event with three other friends who were also graduating the same day, and Rosario was extremely patient with us (organizing an event for four different girls is definitely not an easy job). That night we enjoyed of great music, food and a beautiful decoration; all our guests congratulated us the next day for the great party we gave that day. The best part is that the La Jolla Ballroom's team took care of almost everything, so we did not panic at the last time, as it normally happens before any big event. I strongly recommend La Jolla Ballroom!

Words are not enough to describe how amazing our venue and wedding was! From the start of our planning process our venue was prompt, professional and guided us 100%. Our coordinator Rosario and Olga are amazing they really dotted out all the details and made sure everything ran smoothly the day of. The vendors they recommended to us and provided were amazing from the flowers to the cake everything was exceptional! The food tasting was amazing we couldn't decide what to serve everything was delicious and the presentation was elegant. The day of our actual wedding we had their mojitos as our signature drink and everyone loved them they were delicious; all night long my husband and I were attended and always had a full drink in our hands. Olga worked great with the dj in coordinating the timeline of events through the night. We absolutely had nothing to worry about-- we didn't need a day of coordinator la Jolla took care of it all. Our gifts and extras were all given to our parents who took everything for us and we enjoyed our night with out a care in the world. I am really happy we found this venue and picked it for our special day-- I wouldn't have it any other way! Thank you Rosario & Olga !!!

I have nothing but great things to say about this venue. My daughters wedding reception and dinner were held here. It was a fantastic night from start to finish. Unfortunately, I missed the cocktails but was told by my guests that they were amazing. The dinner was delicious and the service was great. DJ Duni was very professional and kept the party lively right up to the end. The cake was delicious as well as beautiful. My friends and family are still talking about what an incredible night it was. I highly recommend La Jolla.

Words cannot express the amount of gratitude that my wife and I have towards this amazing venue. From start to finish the experience was well guided and they always had the best intentions for our big day. Special thanks to Rosario and Olga, without their help our vision would not have come true. My wife and I signed our contract before La Jolla transformed into the elegant venue it is today. We saw this venue when it did not have any of the marvelous wooden doors or the gorgeous chandeliers that mark this venue distinguishable from any other. Yea you can pay an arm and a leg at any other venue but you will not receive the same treatment or that warm family love that Rosario will provide. My wife is a hard person to please but, when I saw her smile and sign of approval the day of wedding especially after doing the venue walk through I knew we had ultimately made the right choice. My guests were astonished at how great they were treated and how no one guest went unattended. My wife and I always had our drink of choice and anything we needed Olga was at our right hand. Olga knew exactly our timeline of events and coordinated everything in a professional manner so that we did not have to worry about a single thing. Until this day I still get numerous amounts of compliments for my wedding. Rosario and Olga thank you from the bottom of my heart, you will have a special place in our lives. You made our wedding a dream come true especially with the surprise you had waiting for us.

Convenient location, elegant, fun and price conscious venue, La Jolla Ballroom is perfect for any event. From the first day that I walked into their offices, they addressed every concern and were very accommodating to my needs and requests. I chose them because of their promise to take care of every detail and they delivered that and more. The evening of the event was memorable. On May 3, 2013,Operation Pedro Pan Group, Inc. held the Swearing In Ceremony for the new Board of Directors.
The event was excellent, food was delicious and everybody had a wonderful time.
Service was great, corteous and prompt.

First of all, I would like to say that I have never written a review. However, I felt the need to do so for La Jolla. La Jolla is a beautiful venue to hold any special event in your life. The staff is AMAZING!! Rosario, Maria Belen, and even the DJ Duni were always so helpful and friendly. Any question I had or concern they were always a ring away and very helpful. On the day of the wedding they truly made my day so special. They were so friendly and helpful to my guest. All my guest raved about the staff and how amazing the food tasted. They exceeded my expectations. I would recommend this venue to anyone who wants their special day to be grand and worry free. My husband and I recently celebrated our wedding reception at La Jolla Ballroom. Based on our experience, we highly recommend La Jolla Ballroom and its’ staff. We would like to sincerely thank La Jolla and Touch of Class for making this event perfect. We would especially like to thank Sofia for her personal attention, patience, and flexibility. The flexibility La Jolla offered was one of the main reasons we were initially drawn to it over most other venues in Miami. Most venues have a very difficult time veering from their standard wedding packages and preapproved vendors. La Jolla accommodated everything we requested. Furthermore, La Jolla staff, led by Sofia, made key adjustments during the reception to accommodate the receptions natural flow. We could not have asked for better service from La Jolla staff. This, in my opinion, is what sets La Jolla apart from most venues in Miami. I have been to many weddings in Miami and the personal attention does not compare. The staff, servers, and bartenders were very cordial and seemed to have a genuine interest in making sure everyone was well attended. Many of my discerning guests commented on how great the service was. The appetizers, buffet, and end-of-evening food station were fresh, well prepared, and of high quality. Many of our guests were highly complementary of the food. Sofia did an excellent job to ensure that the ballroom looked great. She understood the style that we wanted and set up the ballroom accordingly. The coordination between Sofia and Dilia from ‘A Touch of Class’ was seamless. It was also great to have both of them present during the event ensuring that everything went as planned. The one area that we had difficulty with was in going from the initial agreement, to the point of having a signed contract. We would have liked for this to be handled in a more formal and efficient manner to avoid miscommunications and overpromising at the onset.

Sofia was amazing to work with. She made sure our wedding was everything we had hoped for and so much more. The food was excellent, the flowers were beautiful and the DJ rocked. La Jolla is a hidden gem in the Gables. I highly recommend it!

My daughters wedding was beautiful. There are no words to describe how easy and smooth everything went. The staff made my daughters dream come true. thank you Rosario for been so sweet
