Great Officiant

Donna was amazing with our wedding being the officiant. She spent so much time with us helping us ensure we knew what to do and what queues to look for. She came to our rehearsal and kept everyone moving (even though our bridal party was being crazy that night). She led us through the full process- and even though you may think you know what to do, you will totally forget the day of. I did, and she gave great queues to help us stay on track/not mess up, and because of her, our photographer got great photos! I highly recommend Donna with wedding officiating and will continue to recommend her to our friends and family!

Danielle was great. She answered all of my questions and calmed me down when I was nervous reading my vows. Shes felt like a friend, very caring.

Professional and calming experience

A+ the entire process. We were walked through everything and it made things much less stressful. In fact, I didn't think I wanted a rehearsal dinner. I was wrong.

The day of was unbelievable and Donna's presence there was very calming. So glad we were able to work together!

The LaDonna Experience 10/19/19

Extremely informative, made us feel comfortable from the time of booking, to rehearsal, all the way to the wedding day. Kept us in the loop with how the ceremony was going to go and made it very easy to follow. We even got a ceremony keepsake! Veronica and Donna were AWESOME! Veronica was originally booked to do our ceremony. She was beyond helpful, very responsive and super friendly. She guided us into selecting the perfect ceremony. Unfortunately she was unable to perform our ceremony due to an injury a week before the wedding. Donna stepped in to fill in for her and the wedding went off without a hitch. Donna is very knowledgable and her guidance for our outdoor ceremony was much appreciated. I am so grateful for their versatility and saving us from what could have been a bride's worst nightmare. So extremely happy with our selection and would highly recommend LaDonna Weddings to anyone looking for an officiant.

Absolutely amazing!

Donna was absolutely amazing! She made the entire process from designing our ceremony to changing my last name so simple! She was always available for any questions and her office was prompt with responses. Not only did I feel everything turned out perfect, but I received many compliments from our guests on how wonderful the ceremony was. I could not have selected better than choosing LaDonna Weddings. The communication Donna and her office staff was top notch. I was in Virginia and trying to get things done before I arrived 4 days before my ceremony day. Her fireplace ceremony was perfect setting for my new husband and our children. Donna was so patient while waiting for our daughter to get through the snow we got. Thank you for making our special day AMAZING!!!

La Donna was referred to us by the coordinator at our venue, and we could not have been happier! The day was absolutely perfect & the ceremony was beautiful! What a perfect day we had. Many of our guests remarked how excellent our officiant was and how our wedding was one of the most personal, heartfelt and touching ceremonies they had ever attended. We contacted La Donna because my (now) husband wanted a male officiant for our wedding. We were given contact information for Mark Hancock and we met with him for an initial consultation and were instantly sure he was going to be our officiant! He is incredibly laid back and easy to talk with. He customized our ceremony specifically to us and added a hand-fasting ceremony script that I found on the internet. I was able to email him at any time to bounce ideas off him and add or change our ceremony outline. He attended our rehearsal and helped us work through all of the crazy details you don't think of when planning a wedding.
We got so many compliments from our guests after the ceremony! Mark did a fantastic job officiating for us and we wouldn't change it for the world :)

Donna was so amazing and such a true pleasure to work with. Our wedding was outside in Oct. and what do you know it rained, was 40 degrees, and 20 mph winds. I was completely prepared to change the location to the tent if Donna didn't want to stand out in the rain. She stated "If that's what you want, that's what I will do" She is amazing stood in the rain and didn't say a word about the rain or the cold.

I finally found an officiant that was able to provide a meaningful non-religious ceremony. We were given a book of options to choose from as guidelines that helped create something perfect for us! We were able to add our own unique touches as well. I would highly recommend La Donna Weddings.

LaDonna made our day so wonderful and everything was customizable to make our day reflect our relationship and beliefs. Very professional and responds promptly, educational and knowledgeable about how a wedding is to be run and was able give helpful tips. Gave information on what to do after the wedding (i.e. name change) which is extremely helpful with printed materials so I couldn't forget after honeymoon. I loved the options to create a Cermony that expressed what our relationship valued and was able to truly reflect us. Very well spoken, seemed to memorize our ceremony and spoke directly to us or the guest, could tell she was fully prepared for any possible circumstances ( Donna had notes in binder which were in protecting sheets so if it were to rain the notes would not get wet and ruined). Was able to run our rehearsal without difficulty even if there were dificult family members. Very happy with everything and can't thank them enough for all the hard work.

Donna is amazing. She is talented, organized, professional, classy, reliable and trustworthy. Our ceremony that she performed was moving and beautiful. We hired our reverend through LaDonna, Mark Hancock, and his ceremony was absolutely perfect! Both he and Donna were easy to communicate with and the price was very affordable. He delivered a very fun, engaging, personalized ceremony and we used his script without making any changes. He provided the perfectly balanced ceremony for my Roman Catholic family and my husband's agnostic family. We very highly recommend Mark as well as the services of LaDonna Weddings!

This is way overdue, but I just have to say how easy it was for my husband and I when we used the officiant services of La Donna Weddings last summer! The option to personalize the ceremony was definitely a perfect fit for us! It was so great to know that we chose so many aspects of our ceremony, it reflected our personalities and turned out to be just what we wanted! La Donna Weddings worked with me via email for everything which we were very appreciative of and found to be very helpful. If you are looking for a ceremony that you have the option to personalize and fit to your relationship this is the best choice. We highly recommend using this officiant service!

Rev Larry was fantastic!! He contacted me immediately, and was patient when it took me about a month to return his call. When we met prior to the wedding, he covered the entire ceremony in depth with us, listening to what we wanted and providing us with plenty of options to choose from. On the day of the wedding, he arrived early and was friendly with all our family members. The ceremony was exactly as we had discussed, and was perfect.

LaDonna Weddings was an integral part of our wedding. Without their excellent service our day couldn't have happened! We also bought our invitations through LaDonna and I recieved numerous compliments...including one guest who said they were the most beautiful she'd ever seen!!

We were in a last minute bind and LaDonna weddings was referred to us. She arranged her schedule so she could make it all work and it went fabulous. Donna helped all of the guys get ready before the ceremony (they needed help!) and everything went flawless. I would highly recommend them to anyone!

They were so totally helpful, price very reasonable, flexible in our requests, professional and friendly, quick to respond to my inquiries and Danielle was so wonderful performing our ceremony and included my husbands mother in a candle lighting in remembrance for my husbands father who passed away and it made us feel like he was with us on our special night, she also included his aunt in a prayer/blessing, everything was wonderful, touching and quite "us"

This was the perfect officiant service for us. We met with Donna once and she had a very structured program which was very helpful! I went home with a book of sample ceremonies and was able to basically create my own. It was perfect for the two of us. We could create the perfect ceremony that fit us as a couple and I can honestly say that there isn’t a single person who had the same ceremony as we did. I also loved how she gave us a commemorative copy of our vows to have forever. Our family and friends told us it was the most beautiful wedding they have ever seen. It was very personable. Donna was very familiar with our venue which took a lot of pressure off of me as the bride and wedding planner. Most of our communication was done over email which fit my needs since you all know this is only one piece of a very large puzzle. This was easy and right to the point and in the end we had the EXACT ceremony we wanted.

Donna responded quickly through e-mail and created a lovely ceremony for us. She had a script that allowed for us to choose what we really wanted spoken at our wedding. There were a lot of great suggestions, this helped to let me feel as though I had a big part in creating the ceremony. Very professional demeanor, nice tone, and if anything was missed she quickly got things right on path again so that none of the guests were the wiser. At the end of the rehearsal she even gave me a keepsake of the ceremony script which I will treasure. She offers other services in addition to wedding officiating as well.

My fiance' had a lot of trouble making contact with our original officiant so we had to seek out another one at the last minute. One month before the wedding I found LaDonna services on Weddingwire.com. We had a meeting with Donna right away. She had a worksheet and a booklet that made creating the ceremony very easy and streamlined. Donna worked with us to make a very special ceremony at the last minute. I really appreicated that.

She was on time for the rehearsal and made things go very smoothly with a lot of advice and suggestions. For the wedding day, she was also on time and a did great job officiating the ceremony. I couldn't have asked for better service, especially with less than one month's preparation before the wedding.

I thought the price was fair as well.

LaDonna Weddings provided us with a non-denominational officiant that could provide us with whatever type of ceremony in any location. This was ideal for our inter-religious, interacial wedding. We wanted a ceremony that would represent both of our cultures. They are extremely flexible and will include and encourage any type of tradition the bride and groom want. You can pick from their ceremony passages (which are plenty) or can choose your own. You can also have a strictly religous ceremony, spiritual ceremony (non-religious) or a completely non-religious legal ceremony....or even anywhere in between!

We used La Donna services for our wedding held in June, 2016. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend them, and would encourage engaged couples to look elsewhere.

Our officiant, Danielle, was very personable and exceeded our expectations during the day of the wedding. However, she provided a very bare bones rehearsal, walking us through the ceremony only in vague generalities.

Our biggest issue with La Donna stems from their communication, or more accurately, lack thereof. Three days before the wedding, my wife had a complete meltdown, and was in tears, sobbing -- all thanks to La Donna. In Michigan, the couple has to head down to the courthouse at least three days before the wedding (but no more than 30 days before the wedding) to secure a marriage license. La Donna did not inform us of this until, three days before the wedding, we received an email telling us to bring our license to the rehearsal. In a panic, we called Donna herself and rather than accept responsibility and offer an apology, we were told in a very rude and inconsiderate manner that “most couples know that.” We are a young couple and it was our first wedding for both of us. We were not aware, and they made no effort to inform us of this crucial detail.

Overall, La Donna was unprofessional. Once, they sent an important email to themselves, and didn’t correct their mistake for nearly a week. In total, I think we spent fewer than 4 hours with them in any capacity. It felt like a total cash grab on their part, and a complete waste of money. Definitely the worst $400 I’ve ever spent.
