Our photo booth was a total hit at the wedding, and the photos were excellent quality! You didn't have to wait an eternity for them to be printed out, and the printer provided 2 copies of each photo booth session. They provided an album for guests to paste copies of their photos on, and we had a blast looking at them the next day. Their photo booth is highly recommended by us!

LA Color is a very great team. We hired Taky as our videographer for wedding day. Taky and his crew are very professional and detailed, they got enough preparation and almost covered everything on that day. Taky has very good and positive personality, and put many fun ideas in video. Especially, we also ordered same day edit video on wedding day, Taky also did a very good job on it, the SDE video gave our guests a big suprise. We all love it! LA Color is highly recommended.

We hired Taky and his crew because of the recommendation from several friends. They all used him for their wedding and highly recommended him. I remember I went to visit him in the office and he went through the details with my professionally. He explained everything and addressed any questions we had. You won't feel intimidated or pressured into getting additional services, which happens in some other ones. He also asked for a list of the schedule in advance and worked with our coordinator closely. On the day of the wedding, his crew arrived early and checked out the venue. The best thing is that Taky has a very fun personality. He mixed in with the guests well and made them comfortable to do some funny things for the video. He also provided constant updates regarding the delivery of the finished product, which is important to us. The finished product is very professional and we love it! In addition, he provided a lot of nice bonus features that other companies would probably charge you extra. We enjoyed working with him and will definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a videographer.

This is a long overdue review but Taky and his crew really were phenomenal. They were early to all locations and coordinate well with other vendors. Taky is fluent in Cantonese and knows all the Chinese traditions which came in handy because he knew exactly what was going to happen and was able to get the best angle when shooting. He will also help guide you if you are unfamiliar with any of the traditions.

I watched my video and to this day it still puts a smile on my face and a few giggles when I watch the bloopers. I highly recommend booking LA Color.

After seeing the great job he did with our friends' wedding before, my wife and I had the privilege of working with Taky and his team for our wedding. We are very happy with how everything turned out. From the planning before the wedding, through the wedding day itself, and all the post production work after, everything was very impressive. Sam from LA Color made our day simply spectacular and I don't believe we would have had such a wedding without them.
After reading a bunch of positive reviews, we went ahead and ordered the photo classic package. I was little worried at first because I thought we may be the unlucky ones and get unsatisfactory service but that was just me being a paranoid bride-to-be! After having a little chat with Sam, I felt reassured that this was going to be a fantastic event and we even went on to hire the photobooth too.

Sam was extremely polite, sociable and professional. He knew how to work the crowd and was able to control a big group. He was very creative with his shots and they came out really well in the end. We needed a little retouching on a few photos and he was a pro at that too. We had over 1,000 high resolution pictures to choose from.

The photobooth was star of the show! The kids loved it and so did we. You get a preview of the pose before it takes the picture, which was cool. You also get to choose between a color or black & white photo. I was expecting photobooth pictures to not be anything special but it produced high quality photos. The booth was stylish too and blended in with our theme.

Overall, the day was made less stressful thanks to Sam and his team. I would certainly recommend them to family & friends. Very professional. Thanks guys!

Let me just begin this review by saying LA color is simply amazing!

We started working with Taky 3-month before our wedding, b/c we wanted to create a cute little clip to tell our love story at our wedding. Some of our guests are our parents' friends, so they don't necessarily know me and my husband that well. I showed Taky an only clip I liked and had a few ideas myself, but had no idea how to execute them at all. Taky was so patient listening to my ideas and brainstorming with us. My husband and I obviously are not professional actors, so I was worried that the clip would come out to be super awkward. However, Taky's easygoing personality and sense of humor made the filming process very fun and easy. We were laughing the whole time while we filmed, and were even able to incorporate our dog in our video which really meant a lot to us! The final product definitely exceeded my expectation and it was a huge hit at our wedding!

On our wedding day, the whole team (3 photographers and 2 videographers) showed up earlier than their appointment time to capture our makeup session and wedding prep. That was such a nice gesture and I was not expecting it at all. Taky and Sam, having been through countless weddings before, have their unique eyes and ways in capturing the spirit of the wedding. They simply get it and show sincere appreciation of the amount of work the bride puts into the wedding, so they captured an incredible amount of details that otherwise would have been missed. My wedding was a Chinese/American fusion wedding and I love every single moment they captured for me during the tea ceremony. Not to mention the same day edit was the highlight of the wedding without a doubt.

Like most brides, I was very conscious about our budget, but let me just say every single dollar we pay for the service provided by LA color is well worth its value and much more. It has been the best decision I made for my wedding, apart from marrying my husband on that day. =P

I am so glad that my husband and I hired Sam and Taky to do our wedding photography and videography (April 2014).

We had Sam take our engagement photos (March 2014). He is really understanding and easy to work with and did a wonderful job recommending beautiful settings and poses to make sure we had amazing and memorable pictures.

They didn't just record the events of our wedding day; they participated and captured lot of amazing moments that we will never forget. They engaged with our guests and made the event special for everyone. It added that little something extra that made our day even more magical. Sam, Taky and their team made everything go smoothly and no details were missed. Their team was sharp, professional and friendly.

We had Taky do a same-day-edit and it was a real hit at the banquet. He did an amazing job directing and telling the story of our wedding.

We are so happy we had Taky and Sam record our wedding and we highly recommend LA Color for wedding photography and videography.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE TAKY AND LA COLOR!!! Taky did such a great job on our wedding video that I literally can't stop watching the highlights on my phone! It's like re-living my special day all over again. My husband makes fun of me because on average I watch it about 10 times/day. At first we were hesitant to hire a videographer but as soon as we met with Taky, he made us feel at ease. He sure didn't disappoint and we are so glad we did. We (as well as our guests) loved Taky's energy, humor, and creativity. Taky captured every special moment perfectly and was very professional from beginning to end. He is very organized, dedicated, and communicates well with his clients. I don't write that many reviews but we were so happy with his work that I made it a point to (considering I also found LA Color on Yelp).

I came across LA Color through a friend on facebook. Upon having the first meeting with Taky and Sam, I wanted to hire them. I love their high energy and sense of humor. I could not be more happier with my choice on this team. I chose them for video, photography, and photobooth. Their whole team did an excellent job on capturing the special moments of my special day. I just had my wedding about a month ago & I am really glad I chose Taky & his team for the video,photo & lighting services. At first I was debating if I want to have a videographer but it's totally worth it. It helped capture every single moment throughout that day, which I would not have caught without it being filmed..It was a pretty demanding day for a bride, with back to back events with barely even enough time to drink water :)

What I absolutely love about it was the 'same day edit' . It was super impressive for Taky & his team to create a short video from the events that day ,presented during reception for us to view.The ' at the moment' feel was captured beautifully marking a deep memory for my husband and I.

They did an amazing job on the lighting as well, making the whole ambiance feels so romantic & intimate. A plus is that they provide photo booth services at a flat rate if you get their lighting services.

What I admired about everyone on his team was they are so dedicated & easy to work with.Thanks to Sam & team ,our main photograher as well in taking so much thought & patience to capture 'moments of magic'.

I would highly recommend LA Color for every future brides to be!!!!

Choosing Taky as my videographer was one of the best decisions I made for my wedding. Taky is very professional, personable and sociable, which makes a great videographer. He captured all the special moments of my special day. I loved the different categories he added to my video. Every moment from beginning to end was captured. As I watch my video I feel like I am re-living my wedding again.

Thank you Taky for everything. A special thanks for capturing my parents and their dedication. That means the most to me.

You won't be disappointed if you get Taky to film your wedding. He is in constant contact with you from when you book him and even after you get your video. He also gives so much more that he offers. He's so kind and generous with his talent and work. You won't be disappointed.

First of all my wife and I wish we could have given La color more than jus 5 stars. They truly deserve so much more. We remember searching for a videographer to shoot for our wedding so we looked up wedding wire and came across so many vendors to choose from. So we listed down the names and la color was one of the top choices on our list. I remember calling and speaking to Taky for the first time he was working in Hawaii. I could remember his voice so energetic after already working 12 hour. That's a good sign for anyone looking for videographer. When we schedule an appointment to meet for the first time Taky was very easy to talk To. when He showed us the video at that moment we already knew he's the one for us. So we hired Taky to be are guy and he definitely did not let us down. Everything was jus so perfect on sep 22 2013. We love the lighting, slide show gobo lightings and much more, what we didn't expected was Taky surprise us with the "same day edit" highlights of the entire day. That was a surprise gift from him. We felt so touch because we know how much work he put in. He capture every moment and when i say everything i mean everything, he recorded my wife and i funny reaction when watching the surprise "same day edit" omg so funny how we looked he's a smooth operator hehe. Everyone enjoyed the video and had a great time. Family and friends love our wedding due to the help of LA COLOR!

We got married last November. We were referred by our friend about L.A. Color. Hiring the dynamic duo (Taky and Sam) was one of the better choices we made for our wedding.

They were very helpful, and always promptly answered our questions. Both of them were very professional and willing to work with us on various options and packages.

They worked from the beginning til the very end. Unfortunately all the wedding party didn't all show up on time, so Sam made extra efforts to stay a bit later to make sure we have more than enough pictures to select from for our album. Taky was funny and entertained our guests. The video editing was superb, and Taky was able to marry the pictures and video well. And the finished product is well worth our lifetime viewing pleasure.

We will definitely see them at our friends' weddings later this year. We strongly recommend LA Color.

Sam and Taky (Photo and Video respectively) were both absolutely phenomenal. I don't remember seeing them for almost the entire wedding, but when the albums and video came I discovered they had been there for every moment and some I hadn't even thought of. Everyone has been thrilled with the quality, and I am beyond pleased that it was all put together so professionally and beautifully.

LA Color is amazing!! We absolutely love our photos and dvds. Our guests had such a marvelous time playing with the photobooth at our wedding. Everyone was amazed at the crew's professionalism.

We loved the Bloopers segment in our dvd. There were so many moments that we had forgotten about until we re-watched the dvd and we're so happy that Taky was there to catch it all for us. He even went above and beyond by placing in a special Easter Egg just for us. =D

Sam and his crew were so creative with their photography. They really like taking candid photos and thanks to them, we have so many funny photos of our families and friends! They really captured the spirit and emotions of the day to a T. Smiles, laughter, joy, happiness...that is what we feel and remember whenever we look through our gorgeous photo album.

We got married in May 2012, but resisted writing this review until we received the final product and had time to peruse over the content. Note that most of the delay was probably our fault -- we did not get everything Taky asked until about early December, and received the final products in early March (which, of course, we loved).

We were referred to Taky by our wedding coordinator, Phyllis. In total we approached three videographers for wedding videography, and we were initially impressed with the details that Taky went into answering our questions in emails. During our wedding planning process It was amazing how difficult it is to get people to answer a bullet-pointed list of question point by point. Taky did just that and then some -- it was educational to correspond with Taky on emails.

Of course, on the wedding day Taky was wonderful. He was funny, easy to work with, and went beyond just his duty as a videographer by giving occasional suggestions about what we can do to entertain the guests. His interaction with the guests to prepare the blooper section of the video was also particularly important for us. In a way, we're not just paying for a person to record the event of the day, but also to provide another aspect of the wedding festivities that the guests can also enjoy.

After the wedding day in the US, we were able to get Taky to make the coming-soon video and photo session slideshow to play in our receptions in Taiwan and HK. The final product we got also features bilingual menu options and dual sound-tracks (often with a Chinese song of our choosing), so that we can easily share our DVD/blurays with our relatives overseas.

All in all we were impressed with Taky and would highly recommend him. It felt a bit expensive when we were doing our initial searches but in the end it was definitely worth the money. We actually found LA Color by accident on yelp. We didn't have any good leads on wedding photographers and cinematographers, so then we searched and read reviews on serveral companies and decided to go with them. Right from the get go, we emailed LA Color and got a response within the same day. Taky was the one who got in touch with me and then setted up a formal meeting. After the meeting we had our mind set for these guys. They were very professional. They had a great collection to prove the work and their products which helped alot on our decision. Our wedding day finally came, things started rolling, and they were there first thing in the morning. Both Taky and Sam were my guys, which made me feel much more comfortable that it was them that was there. They did a great job from start to finish. you can definitely tell that they have a lot of experience in what they do on how smoothly everything went the day of our wedding. Their whole team was just as professional and courteous. They were actually a really fun group to have around us during our wedding. At the end, after we gave the final payment, they even stuck around longer just to take additional video and photos. First of all, LA color is FANTASTIC!!! I got married earlier this month, and I hired LA color for their videographer, photographer, lighting, and photobooth. When I first met Taky, I knew I had to have him for my photographer! He is full of positive energy, super social, and easy to talk to. When he showed me some of his work, I saw right away that Taky is super detail oriented. That's when I knew I had to hire him for my videographer. I also saw Sam's work, and loved it, so I also decided to hire Sam for my photographer. Then, I looked at their lighting and photo booth, and got those services from them also. Best decision I made for my wedding! On my wedding day, I was more than happy with their performances. Taky made it so much fun for everyone, and at the reception when he played the same day edit video, it was so AMAZING...No words can express how special it was. We watched the same edit video every day while we were on our honeymoon and humming the music from the video all day long. Taky is the best of the best! No doubt about it. Sam made the photo shoot session between the ceremony and reception so much fun! I can't wait to see the final products! I really cannot say enough good things about LA Color and how awesome everything turned out. In short, amazing video of our wedding... it has just made our day so much more special. I have already recommended all my engaged friends to him.

Our wedding was in June 2012. Taky was our videographer. He was super sweet and nice to everyone and he really really took the time to take video of every details in the wedding with high quality footage. The bonus was he interviewed almost everyone, seriously, in our wedding. This way even though we didn't get to talk with everyone, we got to see them again and listen to their wishes in the video.

Our video captured all the precious moments of our special day in such a professional and well-made video... he was indeed the most worthwhile and very reasonably priced vendor we had in our wedding. Watching the video had allowed us to relive our wedding day, which is something that you can hold onto for the rest of our lives together... and our friends that watched the video told us it was so touching and sweet that it made them cry... From the video and all the extra bonus that Taky gave us, we can tell he really was passionate about what he does and just love making married couples happy. We are so grateful to have met him and used his service.

I worked directly with Taky and he was always very professional and responsive. As a bride dealing with so many different vendors, I always appreciated his honesty and flexibility. On top of that, he and his team did a wonderful job on the lighting at my wedding. They transformed an otherwise plain ballroom into an absolutely beautiful reception hall. September 1, 2012 was a magical day and Sam and Taky from LA Color deserve all the credit in this world.
My parents investigated and interviewed several photographers and videographers in preparation for my wedding and their decision was flawless. Sam photographed us for our engagement session and we received infinite complements from our friends and family with the final collection.
On our wedding day, Sam and Taky, together with the team, delivered everything they promised, and more. Toward the end of the evening, Taky surprised us with a beautiful same day edit (he skipped dinner!) that brought waves of emotion to all as we relived the glory of that day. It was a generous gesture that highlighted LA Color's mantra of professionalism, service and grace.
I offer my highest recommendation for LA Color and am infinitely grateful to them for sharing in our wedding celebration.

The photobooth was super nice. The quality of the pictures were clean and clear. All my guests love the photobooth. LA Color provided props and the prints came out great. I've seen many print qualities from other photobooth vendors and this is by far the best one. The size of the picture is decent size, not super small where you cannot distinguish peoples' faces. The lighting were great. It totally set the mood for the reception. The entire ballroom looked really nice. You can visit their website for pictures of their lighting samples. We had a custom GOBO and Taky did an excellent job on it. I showed him some samples of what I wanted and he created his own version of our customized GOBO. I loved it. You can see an example on their blog. It was great projected on the wall!

As for the video, Taky did an amazing job with editing and putting everything together. He didn't waste a single part of the dvd, he asked for slideshows, engagement pictures, etc. I just love how I can take out the dvd and watch it and it has everything! My favorite feature about the dvd is the highlight (great editing), the photo session (this was amazing, i love how he worked with Sam - the photographer of LA Color and came up with this session, it is just so cool. i can't explain it in words you have to watch a sample from them!), dedications (i love how he asked my closes friends and families to say a few good things to us, the married couple, it was definitely a nice touch), and the bloopers (it is really funny!).

Taky and his team were on time and were there with me for the whole duration that our contract was signed for. I highly recommend Taky for videographer - he's quick thinking, easy going, friendly, funny, efficient and talented., AND most of all VERY responsive! definitely a HUGE plus when you're wedding planning! You will not regret hiring Taky -- trust me!

For our wedding, I felt it was really important to find a videographer that you were comfortable with and can trust to capture your important event. We definitely found that with Taky and his team. LA Color is the complete package. We hired Taky and Sam for our wedding last year and they worked so well together. Our wedding day flowed smoothly and we couldn’t have asked for a better crew. I would highly recommend LA Color to anyone who is looking for professional photographer and videographer. Sam, Taky and their team are very professional. My wife and I used their service for both wedding and engagement session. We also used their photobooth and lighting services. Everything has turned out awesome.

My wife and I did not hire a wedding planner nor a wedding day of coordinator. But everything turned out great because LA Color team is very professional and they are very experience in this industry and they provided me a lot of good recommendation, for example, they will remind you on certain post or scene on what you should do so that they can take some good and important shoot or scene. There are many more recommendation that they have provided and it is just hard to describe them all here. They also helped me on other areas which is not their responsibilities while I was stressed out on other matter since we did not hire a wedding planner. In addition, I had made a lot of requests and their team is very patient and cooperates with our request patiently.

For the engagement session, which my wife and I took the pictures at Lagura Beach. The pictures has turned out fantastic even before the pictures were be re-touched. After the re-touch, nothing that I will need to say and you will know the answer. As for the wedding session, all the pictures has turned out to be wonderful . In addition to their focus shooting at the married couple or their friends and family, there are many professional shoots that at our wedding decoration from ceremony site to wedding banquet site or at the bride's accessories or dresses that I believe they looked very beautiful. My wife has been looking the pictures night in and night out and never get bored which I really want to start complaining to her.

For the video service, we have not received the product yet, but I am expecting a very professional and great product based on the comments that I read here. However, we have added the photo montage slideshow package, I would highly recommend you on this as it turned out fantastic. We have exchanged a lot of ideas with Taky and he was very patient and provided us a lot of recommendation. Our montage slideshow turned out wonderful and there are a lot of animations that I don't think I can able to produce it if I am making on my own. My original plan did not want to add that package just to save some money as I believe I can do it myself easily. However, after I looked at the final product, I believe that there are no ways that I can produce it, especially there is a lot of animation effect. Lastly, something turned out surprise me is that the looping slideshow included in that package, I was just giving a iphone effect idea and LA color helped me to make it an ipad idea that I have never thought of, plus the looping slideshow has include my wife name and my name at the bottom of the screen so that it become our backdrop to show it throughout the night at the wedding banquet. This is something that I have never thought of as well, which turned out very good.

For the photobooth service, their photobooth appearance and pictures are professional and we are highly recommend them because I have been to my friend's wedding and they are also paying the same price (which I believe is very standard out there), but their photobooth appearance and picture print out quality look very unprofessional (I would say they just put a few piece of wood and a video camera and then make it a booth). When I compared the photobooth picture that we took with LA color to my friend's vendor, LA Color's pictures are very beautiful, including the color and clarity.

Finally, for the lighting services, I did not have anything to worry as their lighting had made our wedding banquet become a very romantic event. I was very disappointment it rained on my wedding day so that we had to move the ceremony from outdoor to indoor. However, when the evening time come and the wedding banquet begin, when I walked into the ballroom, everything has been made up and I have never seen such a beautiful lighting effect that I would have seen before.

I will make a long story short here, I would highly recommend LA Color to anyone who is planning on their wedding.

LA Color was a fantastic vendor to work with. We hired Taky to video capture our wedding and he was a pleasure to work with from the day we hired him to the day we received our wedding videos. He was a ball full of energy and kept me in high spirits throughout the wedding planning process. He always had a quick turnaround and was always offering to help with anything that would help make the day of run smoothly. He went above and beyond what we had hired him to do and my husband and I were so appreciative of that. "I highly recommend LA Color. My wife and I used their service for our wedding and engagement session. Sam and Taky were both professional and fun to work with. During photo shoot, I'm not very experienced in posing or being taken a picture, so Sam would recommend me ideas which helped me a lot and making the photoshoot more comfortable. Taky was great in video shooting during the wedding, he's creative and made the entire ambiance funner.

The editing, and end production was great too, we ordered both dvd and blu-ray and they came out better than we expected, having many features and bonus videos that we didn't talk about but came out great.

When I was doing research on wedding photographers and videographers in LA with me being from across the nation I thought it would be a hard process and that I wouldn't find somebody that I could trust without meeting first at least. Taky and Sam made the process so effortless. Their genuine sincerity, being approachable via email/telephone/text, their professionalism and depth of knowledge, their quickness to respond to questions, their talents, and their amazing personality was what made me trust them completely.. When I finally met them the day before the wedding we went over some of my requests for places to take wedding day pictures and they made my dream come too, even greater than my expectations. The shots that Sam and Richard the photographers took were so unique and timeless, I LOVE all of my pictures, it was so hard to choose from the countless perfect shots they took.. Sam did such a wonderful job on editing my pictures as well with no hesitation he did everything I asked for and made my pictures edited to perfection. My album is still in the works but he has sent me all the visual aids I need to include me in the process. They work with you every step of the way which is not very common these days:) Taky by far is my favorite at LA Color, although I was happy with everyone, Taky is truly special and truly kind-hearted. He really wants to see you happy and goes above and beyond to make a very deep movie of your wedding day that captures all of the important details in high definition, great quality and with a twist. His editing and his talents as a director make the wedding video one of a kind. He is so wonderful to work with he is has a heart of gold, truly I built a relationship with him over the past year since my wedding date going through the editing process. He listens to everything you desire and still surprises you at the end when you watch the video with great clips you didn't even remember you had and moreover the interviews that he does with all your guests and family members and funny things he puts in the bloopers are forever there for you. Not everybody does this, I was so happy we chose him, he really cares what the outcome is and he wants you to have interview of people on your wedding day so you have those blessings to last you forever. He did not rest one second of the entire day and I had him for 12 hours, Sam too! Sam was taking pictures during cocktail hour and Taky was videotaping the guests dedications and interviews and making them funny at the same time with his exquisite personality, nobody else could get the footage he did if it wasn't for his great personality. His cutting edge talents along with the technology he uses renders him the absolute best videographer in town! All my friends want to use LA Color now and I am from Atlanta, but they will fly down here. My wedding was in California so i was really lucky that they were there and i happened to find them out of all the ones out there.
Taky spend a lot of time editing my wedding video, he really put a lot of effort into it and more than he does for most other couples and so did Sam for my pictures and album and I am so appreciative. They made sure everything was professional. Taky watched my video over and over to make sure it was perfect and it was:) He even added a honeymoon and a dubai vacation surprise that I didn't even ask for! He made a nice honeymoon picture and video highlight of our honeymoon week and he also did that for our trip to dubai that year as newlyweds:) These two extras he did were very special to me and I will always have these in my video in the bonus features.. The wedding video is great, you will love it we got the package with the blue ray dvds and it is actually just like a hollywood movie, so fun to watch and it documents your whole day and you can select the scenes:) You should definitely snatch LA Color for your wedding day if they are not already taken, they will document your day and exceed your expectations!:)

Lighting package was great too, definitely get this. We had purple lighting throughout ballroom and it made a huge difference. We also got Star lights on our dancefloor:) BEAUTIFUL! Made pics and video look great too!

At our wedding, we had the video service, lighting and photo booth from LA Color Production. I have to say that the chemistry of these services was one of the major elements which made our wedding a big success.
The lighting really sets the tone in ballroom. I also love the change of lighting color on the walls which created different mood.
OMG, that photo booth was a big hit. The line at the photo booth was actually longer than the line of our guests who wants to take pix with us. Those props are so popular and everyone put on a wig or a gigantic hat, etc. Our guests who range from 3 years old to 70some enjoyed the booth without a doubt.

Last but not least, Taky and his video crew were amazing. Taky was not only a talented videographer; he was also great in creating the atmosphere at our wedding which made our guests laugh. Our wedding DVD proves that Taky has tremendous passion towards his work. He puts a lot of thoughts in our video which captures all the precious moments. He also combines those trivia clips that gave us some good laughs and sweet memories.

Taky and Sam are awesome! They were very professional as well as helpful for those who haven't really done photo shoots before, and they are really good at what they do. We had an asian and American wedding on the same day and we needed them to go to several locations. Because they are from the same vendor, they worked around each other. Not like when you have photography and videography from different vendors and they step in front of each other to get better shots. These guys really helped smooth things along on such a hectic day (mostly from family members who like getting in front of the camera with the bride and groom...more than once). They are also very fun. They were partying along with us, but still doing they're jobs. My mother-in-law, who is pretty hard to please, was really impressed by these guys so that's really saying something. Haha! I would recommend them to future brides for sure. We were also able to rent a photobooth from the same place too. This is a must-have at a wedding. Our guests had so much fun with it and it totally saved my husband and I from having to smile and pose for pictures. It was getting hard on the cheek muscles by the end of the night, so having the photobooth was a plus for us.

My friend recommended Taky to be our videographer and we liked him instantly. He was personable and very likable. My husband doesn't get comfortable with strangers easily but he took to Taky right away. He was very accessible during the months leading up to our wedding day and was prompt in replying to us after our wedding. On the day of our wedding, he and his assistant were on time and they even helped me with some of the decorations! They worked hard and many of my guests commented on how good he was in tracking them down to give us their dedications. The fact that he is bilingual is an added bonus as he can communicate with all of my guests. Taky is a very charismatic person and can appeal to everyone- from eight year old kids to eighty year old grandmas.

Tonight, my husband and I watched our wedding dvd for the first time and we could not be more pleased with the product. It was professional and entertaining. Seriously, who but we would want to watch our own wedding video? However, after watching it, I can safely say that those close to us will enjoy it heartily.

I found Taky on Yelp, after reading some good reviews and talking to him on the phone, I decided to hire him as my wedding photographer. He drove all the way from LA to San Diego at no extra cost, and his price is a lot more attractive than most other photographers.

On the day of the wedding, he arrived promptly and stayed from my makeup session to the end of the last dance. He is such a fun guy and the guests loved him, he had a way of finding the outgoing guests and made them do or say funny things.

The wedding video came out beautiful, he captured all the memorable moments and expressions, and the blooper section was hilarious! Love the video, thanks Taky! : )

My husband and I decided to have an intimate wedding ceremony which not gonna have reception. We were referred to Sam (chief photographer of LA color) and he sent us some of his work thru email after our first phone conversation. My husband and I love how natural his works are and the pictures are clean and crisp. So we decided to hire him for our 1 hour wedding ceremony photographer. We never meet him before our ceremony and never tell him what/how we want the photo to be. However, he was very accessible thru email or phone, which is something I really appreciate.
On our wedding day, he showed up with at least 3 cameras and a suitcase of lenses!! After the ceremony, we still have some time, he taught us how to post and took pictures. After 2-3 days, we received our photo in DVD, i was SHOCKED!!! Sam did a SUPER job and we love every single pics he took, EVERY SINGLE ONE. We never expect the pics are so clean, crisp, perfect lighting..truly like artwork... even a small eye contact was captured. He took over 400 pics in 1 hour!! AMAZING!! Some posture he asked us to act, we didn't get it back then, but now, I know why. By looking at the pictures, we felt like we just had the wedding ceremony again...and again...and again... just vividly... I can't stop looking at my wedding photo and very happy that I chose LA color.

Taky (from LA Color) was the first person that we met to do our wedding videography.
At the beginning, we weren't sure what to expect until we saw his previous works.
We immediately notice that he's very talented in engaging people (a total plus for him)
to talk/act in front of a videocamera; and he's also very creative in creating the
video montage. Taky did an excellent video montage for us, a special dedication to

We went with Taky from LA Color for our wedding videography. Even without meeting him, we were already impressed by his work posted online. When we met with him and saw his sample work - we knew we'd be going with him. We have checked out a lot of other videographers but Taky's work definitely stands out. He is very creative - from just the DVD cover itself to the numerous chapters he includes. He incorporates "bloopers" section, dedication which are soooo crucial to the completion of the night. His quality of work is very intricate and he goes out of his way to make it perfect.
Taky definitely exceeded our expectations. He is very professional, fun to work with (all our guests loved him), responsible (gets back to you very quickly and never leaves you hanging). LA Color was used for my photography and Sam is the nicest person ever. Working with him is such a pleasure. His pictures are awesome and really capture the day/moment. Our 1 year wedding anniversary is next week and I've finally found the opportunity to praise the work of LA Color. My husband was the one that found LA Color through his research and booked Taky immediately via email. Based on viewing his work through various sites and reviews, my husband was excited to share the great news of finding a videographer. I was a little nervous initially, since we did not have a chance to meet in person prior. We are super thrilled with the results!

Taky and his team were professional and very engaged in our event. We received several compliments from our guests on Taky’s great sense of humor, which definitely contributed to the final result of the moments captured. Our wedding movie included a wonderful medley of moments that put smiles on our faces when we watched it for the first time. We even had the opportunity to include photos from through the years of our relationship, which was a sentimental representation of our commitment.

To our surprise, we received a dozen DVD copies of our wedding, which shows the great value you receive in LA Color’s services.

We definitely recommend hiring Taky as your videographer, because during any wedding it’s very difficult to enjoy time with all of your guests and this is a great way to capture moments to remember.

My wife and I did not plan on hiring videographers for our wedding. Originally, we might just ask one of our friends to do video recording during the big day.
Since we have many relatives and friends in our home town could not join our wedding in LA, we decided to re-considerate to hire videographers.
Also, many friends of mine strongly recommended us to hire videographers instead of asking friends' favor, since editing video was an annoying task. Also, there was a high risk that we would never get back the edited video not even the unedited one.
Finally, we decided to spend money on hiring videographer.

After we were asking our married friends where we find a videographer, quite a lot of our friends hired LA color as their videographer and photographer in the past coincidently.

Turned out I scheduled an appointment with Taky from LA color in Pasadena to see the demo.

He showed me several demos and service plans.

I can see that Taky treated this job that is not just working but also enjoying the art. If you took his service, pretty much you could find some extra/bonus in the product. Very great and nice surprise!
They are also continuously improving their equipments following the technologies right away.
He also shared his experience of recording video in wedding ceremonies. I could see that he had a lot of experience in many different places, situation, setting, ......... . He also reminded us so many things regarding the wedding.
He and his team are very professional.

From the video, we found that Taky put a lot of extra effort to record so many extra that was outside the wedding ceremony but related the wedding day. He was talking to the guests and record many funny things during the conversation on the wedding day. We never thought that we could see/know that, but Taky and his team made this happened. LA Color provided excellent service and a video package that was top-notch. Couldn't be more pleased. The quality was amazing, in both the blu-ray and dvd versions. The best part was all the effort Taky took to make the video perfect. LA Color does not just provide you with one video from a single camera on a tripod. Instead, they use professional editing with multiple camera shots, so that your video ends up looking like the most professional thing you ever saw. The bonus features are wonderful too...where they provide a highlights reel, a still album, and even a blooper section! A close friend of mine recommended Taky of LA Color for videography. Initially I was nervous as I wasn’t his traditional client (eastern Asian), but when I saw some samples of his product, and the enthusiasm with which he showed them to me, I knew the choice was made. Taky puts SO much into the final product. Whether its amazing bloopers that keeps you laughing from beginning to end, or dedications, or highlights. He even edits the full length film and puts in all the necessary chapter breaks/skips to be able to navigate it with ease. In addition to quantity, he gives you the ultimate quality. They manage to not only get the key moments between the couple, but all the incredible dance moves and fun expressions of the guests as well. I cannot say enough about all the incredible additional things Taky brings as a videographer, whether it is jumping in the middle of the dance floor to get the best shot, to making a compilation of our proposal and our honeymoon pictures. He literally does each video as a project of passion and it comes shining through with the end product. We absolutely love our DVD/Blu-Ray set, whose production from literally its cover to all the menus is flawless! Since the product, Taky has gone out of his way to provide us with all the relevant online clips just so we can share the files electronically too. I absolutely recommend Taky and the LA Color Team! My only caution is to warn your guests about Taky and that he make poke them for some funny bloopers!!! The guests that got into it had such fun, some of the other guests were caught off guard initially. We also had a delay in getting the final product ( its 6 months after the wedding date) though in Taky’s defense he had a sudden illness. Also, there is so much more included than any other videographer, that it makes sense it takes longer. Taky was able to capture the essence of one of the most special days of our lives, so that we can enjoy it for the rest of our lives!!

My wife's uncle recommended LA Color when we were seeking videography & photography services for our wedding. After a few brief chats, we felt very comfortable having Taky as our videographer & he had arranged to have Sam to join him as our photographer.

Taky, Sam & the crew are very professional. They have great ideas & were very helpful from identifying shooting locations, suggesting poses to managing our large crowd throughout our event. The team was very flexible & brought plenty of laughters to our family & guests.

The photo CDs & video DVDs were delivered timely with creative editing & many features. We were surprised to find the greetings from our family & guests in the bonus videos, which were captured while we were being photographed by Sam & his crew.

We highly recommended LA Color for their services. Thanks for the sweet memories!

A good friend of mine recommended Taky for my wedding. We're glad we hired Taky as our videographer! My wife and I were extremely pleased with his overall professionalism, service, and his great sense of humor with our guests. Taky interacted very well with our family and guests. He made them feel comfortable and got them involved but didn't over do it. Many of our guests provided compliments for Taky!

Taky and his crew were very flexible in working with us during the day of our wedding. They really took care of "business." The DVD's that he were exceptional. He really captured all the precious moments of our wedding.

We also hired Sam as our photographer who works at the same company with Taky. We were also very pleased with Sam as he interacted well with the guests, was very professional, and worked well with his whole crew.

I highly recommend Taky and Sam of LA Color because they really make your wedding that much better.

Two thumbs up for Taky's excellent service!!! My husband and I are very satisfied with his work. He is very friendly and easy to work with. His great personality definitely helps to engage people to act and talk in front of a video camera. I have seen a few samples from other vendors and have never seen one that is as creative as Taky's. He includes a 'dedication' section which is one of our favorite part of the DVD. When my husband and I look back to our wedding day, it seems that everything happened so fast and we didn't even have time to say hi to all of our guests. Fortunately, Taky was able to capture what we missed. Our guests' greetings are beautifully edited into the 'dedication' section. We love the bonus features he offers (e.g. bloopers, wedding highlight montage and the language selections). Also, we love Taky's talented editing skills and he makes the final footage looks like a movie (we enjoy the sound effect and the music selections). All of our friends and families enjoy the DVD (even one of my single girl friend says that she will definitely hire Taky when she gets married)!

Taky responses very quickly to our questions and concerns via email and phone (both before and after the wedding)! His team showed up early to prepare on our wedding day. We couldn't have been happier with our choice. I know some people may be considering to cut videography from their wedding budget; I strongly encourage them to go see Taky's work. I know they will not regret it for having Taky as their wedding videographer. We strongly recommend LA Color!

I highly recommend the service from LA Color. I knew Taky, the videographer from my friend's wedding, where I was one of the BM. I knew I had to hire Taky for my own wedding after seeing how well he interacts with everybody. He is very funny & passionate with what he does, he had his ways to get your guests to talk and enjoy the wedding in order for him to capture the best moments in the video.

After working with him for our own wedding, both my husband and I are very pleased throughout the entire process. He goes above and beyond to make sure that he delivers the best service, and he treats his clients like his friends. He also gave us all kinds of recommendations based on his experience . It was truly a pleasure working with Taky.

We also hired LA color for the photograher session, the pictures turned out nice, and we get to keep all 3,000 proofs, which is awesome! Sam is very professional at the wedding day, he is very dedicated and took a lot of shots for the wedding party. Although it took a while for Sam to get back to us on some of our requests (before and after the wedding due to the busy wedding season), and we wish there would be more variations on the touch up photos, but overall, we are happy with the pictures and we look forward to see the finished album. Both Sam and Taky are very professional, and are very flexible to work with.

We actually ended up getting our lighting and photobooth services from LA color as well. It was a great idea to bundle up from the same vendor, not only do you get great discount, but we have the entire crew at our wedding as back up. It truly made the entire wedding process go smoother. Both the wedding day photo and photobooth sessions made it to our videos too, that's one benefit you get for hiring a single vendor.

Overall, you wont' go wrong with LA Color.

LA Color is great! We hired them for our wedding on November 2010 based on a referral from our wedding coordinator, Gloria, at the Universal Hilton. We feel very fortunate to have them as our photographer and videographer. They were very organized, professional, and help make our special day very fun! Our wedding guests told us later that Taky was very animated and made it very fun for them. When we recieved our wedding video we could not stop laughing and of course crying on some very touching moments Taky thoughtfully captured. Taky exceeded our expectations on our wedding video! Although it took awhile to receive it was well worth the wait.... To add icing to the cake, some of our guests mainly spoke Cantonese and Taky was able to speak to them. This made them feel even more comfortable. We really appreciated that added bonus. We also hired them for our engagement pictures. Sam help us find a wonderful engagement site. He was very flexible, patient, honest, and captured beautiful pictures. He made us feel comfortable and relaxed during the photo session within the time allotted. Very fun and easy to work with; great charisma and videos/pictures in the end. Even provided free extra half hour of pictures and videos contained videos/slideshows we did not request in the beginning at no extra charge.

The photographs were taken with skill and knowledge of best angles, lighting and even moods. Compared to the four or five other friends with DSLR, I still consider Sam's pictures the best. Plus, there was an extra photographer just to catch another angle. And although we did not get any books of pictures or physical products (just digital and ORIGINAL copies, both RAW and JPEG), I am certain they will do a great job on those seeing how the videos turned out. Oh, Sam even invited us to go to a scenic area to do poses that very much is same quality as pre-engagement photos! So all in all, very good bang for the buck.

The video, we opted for two hour package recording of the ceremony. However, when we got the DVD, there were three extra slideshows, a segment on people's congratulations, and bloopers! Taky is brilliant at getting guests to talk, even the ones that are a bit shy or awkward. All in very wonderfully packaged DVD/Blueray cases with pictures printed directly on CD's. We even received several DVD copies! The best feature of the video is the editing. From smoothly extending (or shortening) songs to fit slideshows to removing extended footages (yes, some parts of the ceremony was boring watching it on the big screen), the work is very professionally done and edited. Even down to the fine details, like coordinating music with the dramatic parts of slideshow, and showing words of bride/groom as first and last message of a segment, this shows good work and much experience. And once again, we opted for a very inexpensive package but got much more than we paid for.
