Wonderful Venue and Staff

Our wedding ceremony and reception was wonderful and it was all due to the beautiful venue and amazing staff at La Cappella. They all took care of us so well, and we didn't have to worry about a thing. What really made them stand out was their attention to details. They made everything personal and perfect.

They cater to me

My networking group meets weekly over lunch at the Canterbury Place. As a vegetarian, the menu doesn't work for me. When I asked for special treatment, they didn't just delete the meat. Each week they substitute a vegetarian item to replace the main dish. it is often soup, and it is always excellent. They never act put out and actually make me feel special.

Best experience!

We had a wedding luncheon and reception here. It's very spacious and the food was amazing! All the guests loved the roast beef. They have so many linen options and decorating choices - we will definitely be back. We were able to set up the day before so the wedding day was just fun and relaxing with time spent with family.

We enjoyed working with Elysha and David so much, that I'd definitely recommend the Canterbury Place to anyone! Great customer service, Elysha always followed up on us on important details, David was great in little myself and husband use the bridal and groomsmen suites! The staff knows how important a wedding day for a girl is, and they hands down did an EXCELLENT JOB!!

Fantastic:)

They were so nice to work with. They responded to you in such a timely matter. And when meeting with them they answer an questions you may have and don't rush you. Its also super nice because they will give you a folder with everything in it.

Perfect Day!

Such a perfect venue! The whole place is really beautiful, and they are super easy to work with. Our day-of coordinator helped us a ton during the event and helped us with everything we needed (including grabbing food for us during our reception line)! It was the best because we didn't have to worry about a single thing--we just showed up and everything was done for us! And none of our families had to do anything else either--they could just enjoy the day with us! 10/10 would recommend.

Blown Away!!!!

Blown away!!!! From first contact until the last thank you email Elysha and her team was all over it. I got married there, had a reception and first dance as well. The entire layout was personalized and above expectations. The venue was perfect and so was the team. If you'd like to feel like your wedding was the million-dollar wedding and receive top-notch service give Canterbury Place a call. They care about the details and making your day special for you. That's what my experience was and I'm sure it'll be yours as well.

So happy that I choose this place.

I did celebrate my daughter's quinceanera and it was a beautiful event. They took care of everything, making sure that It was the way I wanted.
The place is beautiful. Food was delicious.

Stress free reception

My husband and I got married in an intimate ceremony in a friends backyard back in October with just immediate family and a few close friends there. We knew that we wanted to have a big reception for family to come celebrate from out of town. I was new to the area but had seen this place online & it just looked beautiful! So we decided to have our big reception here. Elysha was SO helpful!! She knew exactly what she was doing and helped us decide on colors and vases and flowers. She knew exactly what we wanted and she made it happen! We had about 90ish people for the reception and we did a plated lunch of the roast beef. The food was AMAZING I highly recommend their roast beef. It came with vegetables and mashed potatoes with rolls. We also choose the raspberry cheesecake with chocolate drizzle. We got a TON of compliments about how beautiful the venue was. We both highly recommend this place to everyone we know who is getting married or looking to have a reception.

A stressless wedding day at Canterbury Place

The wedding planners were very organized and easy to work with. They ensured the decorations were exactly how we wanted. They wanted to make sure we had a wedding day without any stress. They also did a really great job of explaining everything to us: when each event would take place, and what we needed to do for each event, etc .Canterbury Place made it such a special day for my husband and I. It was magical, and everything was exactly how we imagined it.

Great venue!!

Canterbury Place was fantastic for our wedding luncheon! They were very accommodating and made sure everything was perfect. The food was excellent( we had the Beef and Chicken Cordon Bleu), table settings great, ample parking and access for guests, nice decor and lovely place for any celebration! We are from out of state and had to do most of the planning over the phone and I couldn’t have asked for better service. Very organized and attentive employees. We were very pleased with the whole experience and recommend Canterbury Place highly.

Wonderful!!

We had our wedding at the Canterbury place on October 10,2018. Everything turned out just perfect!! Elysha was so easy and amazing to work with. She gave plenty of recommendations, from an officiant to flowers to photography to what to really spend our money on.
I did not really think we could have a dream wedding on a budget, but we did and it was amazing!!

We just had our Wedding at the Canterbury Place and everything was absolutely perfect! Everyone at Canterbury was amazing to work with and made our day a dream come true. Our wedding planner Elysha was phenomenal! I honestly can't say enough nice things about her, she paid attention to every detail and made the event completely stress free. She went above and beyond to customize our day exactly how we wanted it and gave great suggestions when we weren't sure what to do. Elysha also recommended Reverend Christopher and went out of her way to confirm he was available and help us book him. On our wedding day everything went exactly as we discussed. We brought in a few extra decorations at the last minute and Elysha arranged everything and made it look perfect. The food was amazing and the hostess did a great job making sure everything ran smoothly. I'm beyond grateful that we found the Canterbury Place because they made my dream wedding a reality.

Being a bride in stress, Canterbury was the best place to have my reception since they were so helpful with planning and the made the event stress free as well, since they took care of everything for us. I 10/10 would recommend that every bride use The Canterbury Place!

Canterbury Place was over the top great! Very please with how everything went. They gave us the perfect night and went beyond. They were very timely on everything that we had planned. Everything was set up when we got there and quickly taken down so friends and family who stayed to the end were not there all night. We got some gifts left in our car from Caterbury too. Overall great experience, if I could rate more than 5 stars I would.

They are so wonderful. I loved everything about my reception. I was able to give them an idea of what a wanted and they helped me fine tune it to perfection. They have so many options and will make it fit and be special for you. My parents also got married here over 25 years ago, it was so fun to keep a tradition. We loved it.

They made our special day so perfect! The price wasn’t ridiculous and we were able to not worry and just enjoy ourselves. We recommend it to anyone!!!

This stunning venue was absolutely incredible! They went above and beyond for my wife and I and made our day run smoothly. Everything was so efficient and perfect!! I wish I could give them more than just 5 stars because they are truly the most incredible venue with the most incredible staff!!!

I had my wedding reception at the Canterbury Place last month and it was a wonderful experience! The place is decorated so beautifully. It is such an elegant venue with great food for my guests and an array of centerpieces and linens to choose from. There is an AMAZING wedding planning team that worked hard to keep everything that day on track and made sure my husband and I, including our families, were taken care of. I would recommend the Canterbury Place to anyone getting married.

Canterbury is just such a beautiful venue. The staff was very accommodating and extremely helpful, a big thank you to Elysha and Michelle. Both are incredibly helpful, especially Michelle on the day of our event, she went over and above to help us and make sure that everything was proper and its place. The food was just terrific and we really appreciated having a meal packed for us at the end of the day to take with us. All of our friends and family had lots of good compliments about Canterbury. Elysha was great to work with in our planning for our event. The cost expense was presented very clearly and price came out what we were quoted. There were no hidden surprises or expenses that came up unexpectedly. The staff helping to set up and then taking down and packing up all our decorations at the end of the evening was extremely helpful for our families. Overall it was a truly beautiful and wonderful day and turned out better than we could have ever expected. Thank you Canterbury place.

The event coordinator, hostess, and waiters were excellent to work with! Venue is beautiful. I love that there is an option of an outdoor and indoor venue for a wedding ceremony! My favorite part is that it was a one stop shop. They handle the catering, decor, and simply give you a little checklist of what you need to do or options to choose from. And it still feels personalized.

Our wonderful wedding planner, Elysha, helped organize and conduct the absolute perfect wedding!
She helped our family enjoy the planning stages as well as the day of the wedding.
They took care of all the details. This enabled the rest our family and friends to enjoy the traditions, dancing and festivities throughout the evening.
Our sweet hostess, Michelle, was incredibly thoughtful and made sure everyone felt comfortable and welcome.
It was such a beautiful and spacious venue! I would highly recommend The Canterbury Place!

The Canterbury Place was perfect for everything I was looking for on my wedding day. After the wedding we got so many compliments on how delicious the soups were and how beautiful the place was. Our event coordinator, Elysha and the additional people helping us on the actual day, made it so much easier for me to enjoy the day and not stress about all the little details. Elysha did such a fantastic job listening to my ideas but also giving her input with her knowledge and expertise for weddings. I have already recommended this place too many people! Definitely check it out if it's on your list.

I absolutely loved the atmosphere of the reception hall, it is naturally beautiful and very convenient. I love the convenience of being able to have everything in one place and not having to lift a finger to make things run smoothly.

My wedding was everything I could have hoped for thanks to the amazing staff here! Most brides dread/stress over all the little details and making sure it’s done perfectly. That wasn’t the case for me because I was able to give the staff what I had envisioned my wedding to look and the staff executed it perfectly! They were also very flexible with scheduling since my father is in the military we had to move our date around a couple times for possible deployment. They did so willingly to make my wedding day less stressful! You won’t regret choosing the Canterbury Place!

I looked at a handful of venues. We booked a tour thinking it wouldn't be as beautiful as the pictures or that it would be outrageously priced. Jean gave us our tour & she was wonderful & we fell in LOVE. Not only does this venue offer a beautiful garden area, building, & decor but they also offered AMAZING customer service, & services (included in the price). It seemed too good to be true. After speaking with my now husband we decided to book our date. At this point we met with the venue wedding planner Elysha. The appointment went great! We went over decor options, she gave amazing tips/ideas for invites, rsvps, & decorating. In the first appointment we had already picked out all centerpieces, decor, the menu, & more. I was feeling way ahead of the game! The next appointment I met with the venues cake & floral vendors. Everyone was professional & very friendly. We used their cake vendor & she was perfect! We got tons of compliments on the cake. We had the final appointment for final details. Elysha again was great with tips & was always there if we had questions. The day of the wedding went AMAZING! I was already happy with the venue but they took it to a whole new level. I showed up, gave them my decor, & was able to go upstairs to finish getting ready. I didn't have to worry about a thing! They set everything up, took care of the cake & flower delivery, food, drinks.. everything! Talk about stress free. The ceremony & reception went perfectly! The schedule was great, the host (Michelle) WAS AMAZING. I could not have asked for a better venue, venue team, or wedding day! LOVED THEM!!!

This venue was simply amazing. They were very helpful with everything I had questions or concerns about. I had a so many questions for Elysha that I figured she would be sick of me asking, but she was just so very happy to answer any of them.

I fell in love with The Canterbury Place as soon as I walked into the ballroom. It was absolutely stunning and I knew instantly that this was the place for me. Everything ran SO smoothly for our reception and we loved every minute. Our wedding coordinator was extremely nice and helpful. We heard compliment after compliment about how beautiful the venue was. It was so nice to have all the food prepared and cleaned without us having to worry at all. I would definitely recommend The Canterbury Place.

I would highly recommend Canterbury Place to anyone who is looking for a venue for a wedding or a reception. The staff are very friendly and helpful. All we had to do was walk in and everything was taken care of. The food was delicious. A wedding planner was there throughout the event. She helped with anything we needed. The planning process was very easy too!

We loved having our reception here! My husband and I were both able to enjoy our night knowing everything was taken care of. The food was delicious! You don't even need that much decor because he building is so beautiful itself. Elisha and Alysha were both amazing!!!!

We looked at several other venues in Davis County and Canterbury Place was miles above everything else we saw, especially because we were having a March wedding and needed everything to happen indoors in case of bad weather. Elysha, Jeff, and Brittany were so helpful and professional throughout the entire process. They were very flexible in letting us customize certain elements of the menu and decorations and took care of everything. We had a ring ceremony and reception and everything turned out so beautiful and perfect. One of the things I loved most about this venue is that the interior (and exterior, really) is so beautifully decorated and well kempt that we really didn't have to worry about decorating beyond the centerpieces and foyer stuff (most of which they provided anyway). Elysha was also very helpful in answering a few random questions I add while planning other elements of the evening, such as our playlists and photo slideshow. Overall, it was really a great experience and I'll definitely recommend it to others in the future.

I absolutely loved having my reception at The Canterbury! They were sooo helpful during such a stressful time. They basically took over after we went over what I was looking for. MAGICAL WEDDING DAY!! The staff at Canterbury Place are so friendly and accommodating. Elysha was not only one of the sweetest individuals I've ever met, she helped make my day flawless and so memorable. I looked, toured, and got quotes for over 5 venues in the Salt Lake City area and was most easily impressed with everything this venue had to offer. I wanted an indoor/outdoor event because you never know what the weather will be like in August in Utah! Too hot, storms, etc. I got married in the gorgeous courtyard and then moved inside for dinner and dancing. They are so flexible with all your wants and needs, and there aren't any crazy rules or huge responsibilities from the bride or groom or their families. They have an IMPRESSIVE amount of decor to chose from, and it's all included!! One big win for me was they decorate FOR YOU. Drop off anything extra you have and they will make it look like perfection. They have an eye for what looks best - they are truly professionals!! No one from my family needed to come early and help. The dining area had character, and the ballroom was stunning with all the mirrors. The catering was actually affordable (unlike everywhere else), tasted great, and it was just the right amount of food. My favorite room was the bridesmaids and brides room. It's upstairs in this used-to-be church. From the hardwood to the chandeliers, this place was EVERYTHING I imagined and dreamed of. I felt like a princess. From the first outreach to the venue, endless emails from the picky and nervous bride that I was, drop-ins to show family and my florist, the final consult, to the rehearsal and day-of, this team of individuals didn't miss a beat. I had a great duo on the day of - Elysha and Juli were so organized, so calm, and kept everything in check. I got to have special moments with my parents, and they were never in the way or bombarding me with tasks. I had ENDLESS amounts of people coming up to me during the event RAVING about the venue.

I'm the mom (so paid for most of this). My oldest daughter got married last year in a park which suited her perfectly, but this daughter is the one who has more style in her little finger than probably the rest of the family put together. She is also the girl who has dreamed of her fairy tale wedding since she was like 6. I'm pleased to report that she looked blissful the entire day. Canterbury Place really made it so the bride and I could truly just relax and enjoy our day. Definitely recommend them!

My husband and I were so pleased with the Canterbury Place! Everyone made the whole process just a breeze and made sure that there was no need to stress on my wedding day. We ended up changing our menu pretty last minute and they were incredibly accommodating- if anyone left that wedding hungry it was their own fault. I also had a pretty complicated bustle set up (19 bustles!) but our hostess Linda got it all figured out and I was able to dance the night away. The Canterbury Place team seriously takes care of everything and I wouldn't change a thing!

Our wedding was a dream come true! Every aspect was absolutely perfect and we were incredibly pleased with the outcome. I wish we could re-live our wedding day over and over again. Elysha, Jeff and Brittany were wonderful to work with. They went above and beyond all expectations to make sure that our ceremony and reception ran smoothly. They did a beautiful job decorating, helping with ideas and making my vision a reality. They made sure the whole night transitioned well - from ceremony, to reception, dinner, cake cutting, toasts, dancing, bouquet/garter toss, to send-off. They literally took care of everything and made such a typically stressful day, very easy for us. The facility is beautiful and was exactly what we envisioned. Their prices are very reasonable and everything was of great value. They were very flexible in working with us. they accommodated all of our requests, encouraged our crazy ideas and made our wedding truly one-of-kind. I got married here! it was absolutely beautiful. From the start to the finish everything ran smoothly. Elysha was so helpful planning everything. She helped plan everything down to every last detail. She was so flexible and willing to make any changes that needed to be made. The hostess was my absolute favorite. She made sure my wedding day was perfect. She was so kind and loving with everyone. She seriously took such good care of me that day. The decorations, and colors turned out amazing. We received a lot of compliments on how beautiful our wedding was. The only thing there was a issue with was the limo. We ordered a black limo and ended up getting a white one on the wedding night. Even with that being said it was a beautiful day and the staff was amazing. I highly recommend them.

My wife and I are very happy with the services provided by The Canterbury Place for our wedding reception. The venue was beautifully decorated, and it turned out exactly as we wanted because so much of their services are customizable. They catered about 250 guests that night and the food was delicious. Having never planned an event of this scale before, I appreciated that they have so many options available that you can add whatever you want, and only what you need. Even weeks after our event, I have received many comments from guests of how beautiful and fun our reception was. If you are looking for a wedding/reception hall, definitely call The Canterbury Place for a tour.

I LOVED everything about the Canterbury Place! They offer a wide variety with their packages and are very flexible with budget to make your day magical. The vendors they partner with a fantastic and take the time to really customize to your dreams! I would highly recommend giving them a call and at least tour the space before making a final decision. What sold me on Canterbury in the beginning was the owner, Jeff. He was all business and no bones. He detailed what was included, what was customizable, and didn't waste any of my time. And then I met Elysha, the most wonderfully organized and friendly person and I was sold. From start to finish, the selection and planning was easy, no pressure, and enjoyable. Over the months, every time I had a question, I got a response the next day. When it came to rehearsal and the Big Day, Elysha and her assistant were on point and everything was set-up perfectly. The day flowed by in a haze of happiness because I didn't have to worry about one single thing. Thank you! Canterbury is worth every penny!

We loved having our wedding here, everyone kept commenting all night on how beautiful the venue is. The day we got married happened to be a rainy day so we had to do our ceremony inside, it was nice having that option because the inside is very pretty. The ladies there are amazing and help with every little thing. They made it so stress free! I would choose The Canterbury place over and over again.

I am so happy I chose Canterbury. They were the cheapest out of all the places we looked and they let me be stress free the day of the wedding. It was large enough to fit our huge reception and with still enough room to breath. The food was so good that we hardly had any left over.

Rented the ballroom for father/daughter dance and throwing bouquet. And to have a warm place for guests to mingle between the temple sealing and luncheon.

Also, had a luncheon for 130 guests. Food was delicious. Staff was very professional and friendly and efficient. We had lace table runners & pictures we wanted to use on the tables, and Jeff was great to allow that, and his staff was great to fold and box everything nicely when the meal was over.

The wedding cake (we brought in from an outside vendor) broke apart and everyone was super helpful and patient as we tried to stabalize, then take apart, whisk away and box up without the guests realizing what had happened. Thanks. :)

I loved this place! We had our ceremony outside and it was great! Elysha and the staff at the Canterbury are awesome! If you are like me and hate making decision or not sure what you really want for your wedding, Elysha is the one for you! Just give her the basics of what you want and the outcome is fantastic! Stacie the flower designer that Elysha works with also does an amazing job! And not only did our wedding cake look amazing it was the best tasting cake we have ever had! Our guests and wedding party loved the food, the venue and the staff.
Elysha planned everything!!! I recommend the Canterbury for anyone that is either looking for a wedding planner and a wedding venue or just a venue.

We had our ceremony and reception at The Canterbury Place. They were incredible to work with. They made the wedding planning SO easy. We were done planning our wedding a good 6 months before the day. The day of the wedding was perfect. They took everything we said we wanted in our wedding and made it happen. I could not be happier and wouldn't change anything. Guests have been commenting on how pretty our wedding was, how much fun it was, and how good the food was. If you are thinking of having your wedding at The Canterbury Place, do it. Planning my wedding out of state had me overwhelmed. I happened upon the Canterbury place online and decided that I liked the look of it. Upon arriving in Utah a few weeks before my wedding, I attended a planning meeting with the Canterbury team at the venue. What relief I felt when walking inside the first time thinking, "This place is perfect!" After a brief tour we got to the details. The service was wonderful! Tish went out of her way to get everything done for me. She was very responsible, responsive to what I wanted, and would do anything to get it done. This was the second wedding I have planned for my daughters. While it was completely different from the first, which seemed as perfect as you can get, it was an absolute wonderful experience! From the first sit down discussion to the closing of the doors behind us after the day ended, I had not one reservation, bad experience or detraction. I have planned many an event in my day, and such a thing rarely happens. I wish I could hold all my events at The Canterbury Place! The photographer loved the venue as well!!! Our experience with the Canterbury Place was completely perfect. They so helpful and professional. From providing a planner (Elysha), who was wonderful and attentive, and a sweet lady who kept us on the time line we laid out. They were always 'there', but never intrusive.
The venue speaks for it's self in pictures. The food & flowers were above and beyond. All in all... a very enjoyable experience.

We loved this venue SO much. It was an amazing value, especially considering all that is included and all the stress they took off our shoulders!!!!!!!!!!!!! Elysha was such an awesome planner to work with. They really know what they're doing at Canterbury Place, they had all sorts of questions for us that I hadn't even thought about... I'm not a very good wedding planner myself so the "tough questions" included things like "what color do you want the table linens" and "how tall do you want the centerpieces". But they really did have all their bases covered and the event went off without a hitch! The brides room upstairs was super big, plenty of room for me and all my ladies. The event space is plenty large, and the courtyard out on the side was so lovely for our ceremony. All my guests loved the venue and all its charm. All of their preferred vendors are actually really amazing, too. And since they were "preferred", the Canterbury Place made payments to them on our behalf and we were able to pay for everything all to CP which was so darn easy. Wouldn't do our reception any other place!! 10/10 recommend.

I loved everything about our wedding dinner/reception at The Canterbury Place! Everyone there was so helpful. They took care of everything we need. It was the perfect evening! I would highly recommend them!

I LOVED working with the Canterbury Place!! They made all my wedding planning virtually stress-free! It was amazing. They were very prompt and responsive with all my requests and were proactive in helping me plan. It was SO helpful being able to meet face to face with Elysha, the event planner, as well as the other staff who were helping put on our reception and our wedding luncheon. I basically told them what I wanted and they figured out a way to do it for me without my family and I having to put in any extra work. They had everything figured out down to even the last details that I wouldn't have thought of on my own. The building itself is beautiful and had such a romantic feel. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants a beautiful, stress free wedding!

We had the best time with everyone at Canterbury Place. They all made sure we were getting exactly what we wanted and even pulled some strings for us. The one thing that could have been better was the speaker system. It needs an update. Beautiful place!

I had my wedding and reception at the Canterbury Place. They seriously were so awesome throughout the whole wedding process! They offered many ideas that I would have never thought of and made my day everything I wanted it to be! We stopped by the venue several times to ask questions and they were so awesome about it. I definitely would recommend having your event here! They listen to your ideas and help make your day the best!

We rented this location for my wedding reception. They had a ton of options for decorations and they communicated with all of the outside vendors so it made it really stress free. The hostess did great and always made sure we were taken care of. The wedding planner Elysha is fantastic. She answered all my questions in a timely manner and always kept us happy leading up to the day. They set up and took down everything so my family didn't have the stress to do that either. The only complaint I have is that it was confusing for the guests where to go to find us. We were in the ballroom but our guests kept going in the dining area because mostly that it where all the guests were. I thought the hostess could have done a better job at directing the guests first arriving.

With all the things we had to find, decide on and etc, I'm SO GLAD we picked this venue!!! The entire staff was friendly and helpful, they made everything so so... easy and simple! The place is Beautiful, without adding anything, which you have to in most places, and the peace of mind we got from knowing that the place we picked could put all of these other vendors together beautifully like its nothing was priceless. they did a WONDERFUL job. Thanks Canterbury!!!

The Canterbury Place is a beautiful venue for a wedding. The staff was great, and the food and service was also great. Elysha was very helpful in planning my reception and getting all the important details together. It was a really fun and beautiful place to have a reception!

My friend had her wedding there and told me to look at it, so I did. It was the first place I looked, then I went and looked one more place and knew that The Canterbury was the place to have it! I loved it! My wedding was inside and it was PERFECT!! Everything went smoothly and the food was awesome! I loved the brides room too! Everyone that worked there was so helpful and so nice! They made sure that everything was going to be perfect and organized! I definitely recommend this place! It's like a girls fairy tale venue for a wedding! :)

Wonderful place for a Wedding Dinner

The decorations were lovely (and I’m picky). In the lead-up to the dinner, my only concern was if the food would be good (since you have to use their food) - I was pleasantly surprised! We got the lemon chicken. Each dinner item tasted great. I didn’t love the dessert: raspberry cheesecake - it was still partially frozen but oh well.
Everyone was very responsive and helpful along the entire process. Our wedding dinner was on a Thursday evening, and the price to host a dinner (or reception) is less since it’s a weekday. That was a huge bonus for us. I had looked at about 20 other venues. The bride and groom and our families were super happy with how everything turned out. I definitely recommend La Cappella!!

Perfect venue for a wedding luncheon

The perfect location, being so close to the Bountiful temple, was ideal for our son’s wedding luncheon. It was perfect. The food was delicious, the staff was both professional and kind and the entire experience was a pleasure. The food was delicious, and the serving staff was great to work with our young grandchildren’s needs. We would recommend Canterbury Place to anyone looking for a great place for a banquet.

The best venue in Utah

Elysha and the Canterbury Place were perfect for our wedding. It was such an amazing day, and I felt that I didn't have to worry about anything. I spent the time enjoying the experience instead. We had almost no ideas as to what we wanted for the wedding, but Elysha gave us ideas we loved and took care of everything. I hope I never get married again, but if I do, I'd go here again, especially for the price and value :)

I loved using the Canterbury Place! Our wedding reception was everything I dreamed of. The service and planning was great, and I felt like the staff made the reception run super smoothly. The food and decorations were superb. The only thing I would change would be to have the option of bringing your own food instead of requiring in-house catering. But even still--would do it again in a heartbeat!

I loved having our Wedding at Canterbury Place! I didn't have to worry about making things happen. They took care of everything. Which was great because then we got to enjoy our wedding day and spend time with our guests! It is a beautiful place and they made sure to take care of our needs. Elysha was fantastic to work with! The only downside was how expensive their catering was.

Our wedding was August 12. Elysha was awesome & I loved the fact that The Canterbury Place provided a wedding planner. At every appointment she made sure that I was happy with all my decisions before our appointment was over. The day of my wedding I was in such a rush trying to get everything together. I wanted to be ready before 4 so I could set all my decor up myself (because I'm picky about where things go & how it looks) but when I arrived everything was already set up & everything looked BEAUTIFUL. I was so surprised at how well everything was set up. They truly kept their word when they told me "we got this! Don't worry about a thing!" Our hostess for the night was the sweetest ever as well! She made sure I was happy throughout the entire night. I definitely recommend The Canterbury Place!

We loved having our wedding at The Canterbury Place! It is a beautiful venue that had everything we were looking for. They made planning really easy! From food to decor to timeline, they helped us set up every detail. The whole staff was great and made sure the wedding ran smoothly. I fell in love with The Canterbury Place the moment I stepped foot inside the ballroom. This venue is so stunning and wonderful I practically booked it right then and there. The packages are great and make it very stress free to plan your wedding day. The food they provide is very good, and the venue itself is just so gorgeous. They have two ceremony areas, one inside and one outside. The outside area is not as pretty (in my opinion) as the ballroom inside, however they have a sister venue called Eldredge Manor about 10 minutes from The Canterbury Place that has a phenomenal outside ceremony area.
