We truly cannot thank Jay enough for his expertise and commitment to ensuring that we had the wedding of our dreams! Jay was so wonderful to work with throughout every step of the process. We honestly looked forward to our meetings with him leading up to our wedding. Also, we had an absolute blast during the reception and Jay customized our music precisely to our taste, but also, to what the crowd was looking for. We couldn't be happier with Jay's involvement in our special day and are so appreciative of all of the work he did. We could not recommend Jay any more highly! -

Jay was the absolute best DJ for our wedding! We moved our wedding up unexpectedly for a family matter, and Jay was not only accommodating, but really went the extra mile for us! Our wedding was a blast and everyone has talked about how awesome the music was! Jay kept the dance floor going all night with fun and unique mixes of well known songs that kept the energy high. He also made sure to add such personal touches, throwing in our favorite artists during cocktail hour, really making the experience so personalized. Hands down, the best DJ in so many ways. Professional, personable, flexible and most importantly super talented and incredibly FUN! As a vendor in the events industry, we have worked with Jay and we are always excited to see him performing, bringing a group together to celebrate and see them having a great time. Personally, we have worked with Jay for our company events as well as our own family celebrations over the last few years. He reads the room, knows exactly how to keep the crowd going and seeing him behind his booth with his giant smile makes him a huge part of the celebration. We always hear compliments and rave reviews from our guests after a party with Jay. Half of our family is hispanic and is always requesting the latin hits, and he always delivers! He makes sure to get an understanding of the event, the invited guests and is always in communication so that he is prepared for it all! In addition to his talent. He offers a great photo booth option, which we use at all our holiday parties and an incredible lighting package to help enhance the atmosphere. Jay was incredible to work with for our wedding! We hung up the phone after our first call with Jay and knew that we had found our DJ. He understood what the vibe we were going for right away. He let us bounce ideas off of him and gave us feedback on what he thought would work and what might be difficult to pull off. From the processional until the very last song of the night, he helped make sure everything was amazing. We trusted him to go in whatever direction he felt the party was going and play whatever songs he felt would keep everyone happy and he crushed it! He had everyone on the dance floor dancing and singing up a storm all night long.

If you’re still contemplating who to hire for your wedding or event, stop and hire Jay.
First, he takes so much time to plan (and in our case, re-plan) your most perfect day down to each moment. Despite all the pre-wedding calls and creative exchange, he STILL came out the day before our wedding to organize an entirely new rain plan with us.
Next, he’s a natural at reading a crowd and taking your vision and turning it into reality. We gave him just a bit of inspo and he completely understood what we were going for. Our crowd was on the dance floor before dinner even started.
Lastly, he’s simply a pleasure to work with. Super organized, responsive, and has the right tools to make planning straightforward.

Best in the business
There are endless stressors that go into planning and creating the perfect wedding day. Sam And I knew from the second we got off our first discovery call with Jay that he was our guy. Jay from day one helped us make a process that most think to be chaotic, SO MUCH easier. He started the party early during our rehearsal in getting everybody laughing during our practice of the ceremony. Between his technology in using the mobile app to plan all our songs, and the conversations and questions Jay goes out of his way to have in order to make sure he understands exactly what we wanted for our special day. Not to mention the absolute best lighting and sound setup in the business…
Jay goes above and beyond and there are not words to describe what a awesome human he is. The team made our day so incredibly special, and even with some last minute (literally) changes to have one of my best friends throw flowers and white claws, he made it happen without question. All the music and the dance floor was full of smiles and happiness from the second we started. I could write a book of how happy we are with Jay, we love him and and hope others can experience the greatness of his work as we did on our big day. -

Hiring Jay was one of the best decisions we've made!! We interviewed a handful of recommended DJs for our wedding and they all had the same cookie cutter vibe - after we talked with Jay it was a breath of fresh air - done deal. He took the time to explain why he was different from other companies, how is process works and expanded on his vision and ideas to make our wedding say something special. I can't express enough his ability to be extremely professional and thorough with a personality that truly made the whole process stress fee and easier for us.
Aside from the business side of things, Jay brought the HEAT when it came time to put on a show. Our dance floor was packed from start to finish. We were able to provide a few songs ahead of time to give the vibe we were looking for and he took off with it and totally exceeded our expectations. The vibe and energy Jay brought to our event was top notch - Lights, Music, Photo Booth and even custom song mixes - There's no chance you can find someone who can out perform him in the industry. -

We hired Jay as our DJ for our wedding on New Years Eve and it was the best decision we could've made. He was amazing all weekend long! From our first phone call with him, we knew we were in good hands. He took the time to understand who we are and the type of wedding experience we were looking for. We felt like he got us pretty quickly and that we could trust him to do a great job on the big day.
Jay is very thorough leading up to the wedding, making sure to get the pronunciation right for everyone's names, understanding and suggesting what songs needed to play when, and of course making sure the timing is perfect - he is a real pro.
We hosted an Italian themed rehearsal dinner and flannel welcome party the night before the wedding and Jay brought the together the musical ambiance that made our vision come to life.
On the big day, Jay was even better. From set up to breakdown, he was on it. He nailed the ceremony intros and all of our guests knew what was going on at all times. The reception was perfect and our dance floor was full all night long. My neck hurt for 4 days post-wedding from head banging. All of our guests swung through the photo booth and we have some amazing memories from that as well.
We really could not have asked for anything more - Jay went above and beyond for us and we can't recommend him enough for your weddings and events!! -

Jay is the absolute best, I really don't know how else to start this. Not only does he provide the most personalized and perfect soundtrack for your day, but he creates an atmosphere that fills your space with music, joy, dance, laughter, memories, and FUN. I knew he was going to be our DJ in our first conversation, as he was so personable, and I could tell he really understood my request and love for music. He understood the vision of the whole wedding and the feel that we wanted for each and every part of our night from cocktail hour up until the songs he played as our guests were exiting. We also had people of all ages at our wedding and he was sure to play tunes that everyone not only could dance to but could not stop themselves from dancing to! He exceeded our expectations, and provided an above and beyond dance party - I could not step away or get pulled away from that dance floor. We would all get so pumped as one song transitioned to the next, because we could not wait to see what it was. I remember saying to my friends and family, while dancing and singing, "I wish we could do this every night!!" Jay, you are so talented, and we are so, so happy we got to work with you!! It was an incredible night and we can't thank you enough! -

Jay was absolutely amazing!! He DJ'd our wedding on 5/28/22 and we couldn't have asked for more. He kept the party going throughout the entirety of our event just like we wanted. We planned a unique entrance that I was nervous about and I remember right after I looked at my husband, I looked at Jay and said "we did it". Working with Jay was a dream!
One bit of advice I have for all couples starting out on the planning process is to seek vendors that have an easy and streamlined package/quote/payment process. This cuts down on headaches and a billion emails back and forth. Jay set a great standard here- his whole process was streamlined, friendly, and personalized. From thoughtful and easy to understand packages, to a cool app to help pick music out, to t-minus 1 month meeting that truly helped us take a *beat* and get excited (instead of just stressed) — we were so happy to have Jay on our team.
On our actual wedding weekend, Jay’s calm professionalism and quiet hilarity was legendary. I felt like we were old friends throwing a party together, but clearly only Jay was extremely good at throwing parties and knew how to take my blabbering about speech timing and turn it into a thoughtful structure for our reception. Your DJ does so much more than just hit play, and I’m embarrassed to say I didn’t realize this until way further into the process than I should have. So, Jay was excellent for all the OTHER things a DJ does, and still totally delivered on the dance floor. We literally felt transported to “da club”; Jay is clearly passionate about his craft and puts the work in to be exceptional. Also the photo booth is so legit, please get the photo booth.
If you take one thing away from this review, know that Jay will make you look awesome, feel great, and dance hard. He’s not gonna steal the mic and make your wedding his latest standup gig (even though I’m certain he would also crush that).

Wow! Where do I begin?! We had the pleasure of working with Jay from La Bella and the Beat for our wedding, and it was perfect! I can not recommend Jay enough, he took his time helping me make song choices, he was very professional and brought the best kind of energy to our wedding the whole night. I don’t think there was one person that wasn’t on the dance floor at least once! We could not have asked for more! Best wedding DJ ever!
I am convinced that Jay is the ABSOLUTE BEST DJ in the wedding biz!! We received so many compliments about Jay it is hard to even remember them all. To start, we heard people say, "I don't usually dance at weddings but I am having so much fun!", and "I was begging him to play at least one bad song so I could leave the dance floor and go to the bathroom". Not only did Jay play incredible music, at exactly the right time all night long, he eased our anxieties leading up to the big day. We had a fantastic phone call that really helped us plan the day, minute by minute. Not to mention he went above and beyond by attending our rehearsal the night before. We cannot stop talking about Jay and how much fun we had. Now we are just looking for any and all excuses to throw another banger so Jay can play the beats all night long!! -

Jay is incredible and we are so happy we had him DJ our wedding! What was particularly striking about Jay in the months leading up to the wedding was how attentive he was to us as a couple and how much time he spent with us making sure our music vision would come to life on the day of. He really cares about his clients and it’s apparent in everything he does. We had multiple calls with Jay to iron all the details out and we were always so impressed with how prepared, organized, and genuine he was. When our wedding weekend rolled around, he went above and beyond by being there for our rehearsal to make sure all the music cues were right and by editing our mother/son and father/daughter songs for length. He loves music and understands how to keep people dancing and having a good time. I didn’t leave the dance floor for longer than 10 minutes total once it opened up! Everyone had an incredible time and commented on how great he was. We feel so lucky! -

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND LA BELLA AND THE BEAT!!!! Wow... Jay is incredible at his job. My husband and I can not say enough wonderful things! He is professional, he knows EXACTLY what to do and when to do it! He is hard working and organized. He answers EVERY SINGLE QUESTION and helps you figure everything out by meeting up with you before the wedding! Jay comes to your rehearsal to make sure he is ready to go for the big day and OH MY GOSH does he put on a show... my legs are STILL killing me from all the dancing we did! All of my guest were up and dancing having a blast!!! Many of my guest have messaged me asking “who was your DJ; he was great!” He pays attention to who was on the dance floor and chose the music accordingly. And his passion shows when he’s doing his thing! He was smiling just as much as we were! Jay really became some one very special to my husband and I... you will forever be apart of our memories and wedding talk, and I’m pretty sure my parents are going to invite you to Christmas 😂😂😂 I can’t thank you enough for everything you did to make my dreams come true Jay. Jay is the best. He DJed our wedding and it was epic. He was very thoughtful with the whole process and created the perfect atmosphere for us. Neither my husband or I were too into the whole wedding planning scene and Jay was so helpful in the process of picking music etc. I didn't have time to go to the bathroom during the dancing because every song was so good you never wanted to leave the dance floor. We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ than La Bella and the Beat for our wedding day! Jay was so easy to work with and he made it clear he wanted us to have the perfect day. People kept coming up to me after saying they had never been to a wedding where the dance floor was completely packed the entire night. Jay was absolutely great to work with. He made us feel super comfortable through the entire process, and worked with us and all of our unique and crazy requests. "The best wedding we have ever been too", " DJ was awesome and catered to all ages", "DJ had everyone dancing, my legs are so sore".... These are the comments that Ryan and I have been receiving from our wedding guests. Jay was been unbelievable since day one. I contacted Jay last year to DJ our wedding. He had played at one of my friends weddings and I remember I had a blast. Jay was sooooo accomodating that him and his wife (who is also our photographer) drove to Maine to meet with Ryan and I to go over our idea for our dance party. He paid attention to detail and what we wanted and even gave us his own ideas. Jay stayed in communication with me throughout my planning process and was even awesome with dealing with my last minute brain! He even attended our rehearsal to check out the venue and to figure out where speakers should be placed etc.... Ryan and I are so blown away about how great Jay.
I know as a couple you may be hesitant towards hiring Dj's because we have all been to those weddings where the Dj was boring!!! I was also hesitant because I am use to attending wedding in Ireland. In Ireland weddings go till 2 in the morning and the DJ rocks the floor till that time. I also had to find a DJ that would show my family coming over from Ireland a great time. With Jay he will not disappoint, he listens to you and he works damn hard to piece everything together and make sure it goes perfect! you will not be disappointed. My family loved him so much that he now is now been converted into an Irish man haha. Ryan and I could ramble on and on about how great he was but trust me when I say hire him he will not fail you! -

Wedding DJ
I HIGHLY recommend Jay for your wedding! From the very beginning he made everything so stress free and easy. I can’t even start to name the endless things he did to make our day perfect but here’s a few: he came all the way from NH to Winthrop, MA to meet us for lunch to go over the entire day, called and emailed us a million times, made our last minute wedding rehearsal painless, and made our wedding the best night of our lives. I danced all night along with everyone else! My (now) husband hardly ever dances and he was dancing that night!
I had a specific playlist that I curated over the years that I wanted him to play during cocktails and dinner, and he sprinkled a little bit of his own music into there as well and it was perfect! He also played songs we requested ahead of time dedicated to our loved ones who are no longer with us and it made everything so sweet.
I cannot recommend Jay enough to anyone who is looking for a wedding DJ who is funny, laid back, but will also plan your day for you if you don’t have a wedding planner. Everyone said that he was the best of the best and are still talking about him two months later! Thank you Jay, and I’m so proud to call you a friend!

From meeting with my husband and I before the wedding to get to know us and the vibe we wanted, to coordinating with our venue and photographer to insure the day ran smoothly, Jay went above and beyond and was huge reason why our big day was so unforgettable! During the reception everything was perfectly timed, he played awesome music, and had everyone up and dancing before we even did the special dances. He was accommodating and flexible when it came to the father/daughter dance as we wanted to mash 2 songs together and he made it happen! The dance floor was packed the whole night, our guests literally danced the night away and it was all thanks to Jay's DJ skills and his dedication in making our day perfect. We highly recommend him!!!

When it was time for us to choose a DJ, we quickly texted my uncle for Jay's name and the rest is history! When we first met with Jay, he was extremely enthusiastic, he was personable, and he was professional. Jay asked us what we were looking for and got the details he needed to make our dance floor a popular place (ages of guests, our interests, our must-plays). He allowed us to make suggestions, walked us through each part of the event, and helped us create our itinerary. LA BELLA AND THE BEAT BROUGHT THE PARTY! We were SO happy with Jay the night of our wedding. Our dance floor was CONSTANTLY packed with our loved ones dancing to hits from today and the past. As the bride, I couldn't be pulled off the floor because I was just having WAY too much fun. When I asked Jay to break out a special basket of 36 toy microphones so our guests to sing a Celine Dion hit, he did it without question and prompted our guests so that they WILLINGLY sang along (and honestly, it was my favorite!). Jay was flexible right up until the last minute and was simply a joy to work with. We couldn't have been happier!

Not only was Jay punctual and confident with the setup of equipment, but he was smiling the whole time and very welcoming to all our guests. He was also very professional and paid attention to every detail, almost as if he could sense the needs of the crowd. We loved his enthusiasm and energy that radiated into the reception throughout the evening! He was easy to work with in planning our event and played the perfect selection of music that we had requested! He even danced along with us from behind his setup! Jay definitely helped create an awesome wedding day for my husband and I and all our guests!
