Gorgeous reception
It was such a pleasure to work with L & Jay! Jonathan, the florist, made our dreams a reality (as cliche as that sounds). He went above and beyond to work within our budget, offer several beautiful suggestions, and put our minds at ease. I secretly want to plan another big event just to work with Jonathan and see what other great ideas he has! -

My husband and I absolutely loved working with Jonathan and Lee at L&Jay. They were very fun, positive, and professional. Early on I had no clue what I wanted for flowers, and Jonathan was very patient and full of great suggestions and advice. They created special pieces like a hanging flower ball that made our wedding so special. We highly recommend them! -

Jon and Lee of L & jay productions were amazing to work with for our wedding. They came highly recommended from the Zoo, where our wedding and reception were held at the Teton Trek Lodge. They were so easy to work with, very flexible on flower choices and budget needs, and very prompt with all business matters. My mom and I found them a joy to work with. When we had to trim our floral budget it in no way resulted in decreased quality. The final product of our bouquets, table centerpieces, and the incredible fireplace mantle display was even more beautiful than I could have imagined. Jon and Lee are truly masters of floral design. My mother and I would both give them our highest recommendation to anyone planning a wedding. -

L & Jay were amazing to work with. I am not a fan of flowers, and I don't like pink, so I was a little hard to work with. We went in there with a budget, but that was it. I had no idea what I wanted. I told them I wanted lots of color (not pink) and I wanted earthy flowers. They gave us quite a few options and let us pick and stayed within our budget! Our flowers were truly amazing! -

I would recommend L & Jay Productions to any bride in Memphis. They were absolutely wonderful and working with them was one of my favorite parts of planning my wedding. They were so understanding and respectful of my budget. They stuck to my budget and made my vision come to life and it was more beautiful than I could have imagined. Thank you L & Jay! You are the BEST! -

Far exceeded my expectations! Not only were the flowers beautiful, the L & J Team truly want your event to be exactly what you envision. They spent a great deal of time making sure they understood what we wanted and then they delivered on that vision and more. -

Lee and Jon at L and Jay literally SAVED my wedding day!!! My husband and I got married on Oct 6 2012 (it was the day of the monsoon in Memphis) and my wedding was outside. We moved everything under the tent and what they turned the tent into took my breath away. They literally cut small trees down and hung beautiful roses from the branches so I did not have to get married just in front of a stage in the tent (where only the reception was going to take place) I felt like they made my day (what could’ve been a disaster) into the best wedding anyone could ask for. From the first appt. to the last flower arrangement they placed on our tables, they were honestly AMAZING and I would recommend them 100 times over!!!! -

I have used L & J for a number of large events over the last 5 to 6 years ranging in size from 200 to 700. I have always had a great experience with them. In fact, I used them for an event for 250 people just last month. As always, they were flexible with my budget, their creativity was second to none and they were highly professional. I'm shocked by the negative review -- if you read them, you quickly see that its only one person giving the same comments under different names.
I will never hire anyone other than L and Jay when it comes to my events. At last months event I recieved a number of comments about how wonderful everything looked.
These guys really know what they are doing and will make your event special. -

I could not have asked for a better florist. I met with them twice before the wedding, and that was all they needed! They took the time to get to know me so that they would know EXACTLY what types of arrangements would fit my style, personality and the theme of the wedding. It is evident in the floral arrangements they produce that they know what they are doing. Not to mention that they are extremely personable and make each meeting fun and enjoyable. I had all the confidence in the world in them and they did not disappoint. -

L and Jay were wonderful to work with. They have great ideas, but were receptive to what I liked. Offered suggestions to keep what I wanted within budget, which is what I had trouble with at other places. They were truely out to keep me happy and make my wedding look beautiful. We were really capable of maximizing our budget at L & Jay Productions. We got very nice bouquets, and all of the floral arrangements looked beautiful. Our guests asked us several times who did the flowers. We were more than happy to tell our guests about L & Jay Productions! -

The decor for our wedding and reception was impeccable. The flowers were amazing and beautiful. In addition, L&J were the only vendor that would allow my husband's grandfather (a retired florist) to make my bouquet. It was something very important to us. All other vendors would not allow it. -

L & Jay Productions were awesome! Jonathan was so willingly to work with you and understand what you want to see in your wedding flowers. One great thing which they offered, which other florists in the area do not offer, is the opportunity to preview the wedding flowers before the BIG day. It gives you a chance to look at the flowers and make sure it is exactly what you want. -

Absolutely wonderful! I met with several Florist and he was the best! He does a mock of what things will look like about 2 weeks before which is great. It resures you are both on the same page. When I walk into the church I about cried because he did more than I could have dreamed. There is no other florist like him. And he works with your budget and is worth every penny I paid him and then some. -

L&J productions did exactly what I asked for in my wedding! They even allow you to do a mock-up a few months before the big day to get some ideas on what you like! I saw my wedding flowers on my wedding day and my jaw dropped! They were breathtaking! Awesome vendor! Awesome experience! -

Our flowers were gorgeous, and Jon and Lee are so professional I honestly didn't have to do a thing. I gave them a picture and they knew exactly what to do. They were also understanding of my budget, and did a great job working within that to give me exactly what we wanted. They were fun to work with, and very helpful even with my other vendors, helping me think of questions I wouldn't have known to ask. -

The overall product of our wedding flowers and lighting was amazing! The room was completely transformed and every last detail was perfection. The designer was an absolute pleasure to work with and had an amazing artistic vision that made me know he was our florist from the moment I met him. He met with us completely around our schedule and even at the last minute and we saw him working very hard the day of! -

I can not say enough about how talented L & Jay Productions is! They have such wonderful taste!!!!!!!!! They made my wedding tent, tables, and church just beautiful!!! These guys are great! My wedding flowers were very non-traditional. I gave them some of my own decorating supplies and trusted them to implement the supplies into my arrangements sight unseen. I was very pleasantly surprised! -

I've seen two weddings done by L and Jay, and both of them were completely stunning. I hired them to do my flowers for my wedding, and I was initially pleased. Jay was so informative and patient as we figured out what I wanted, and he actually helped me figure out ways to save money. However, on my wedding day, some things fell apart, as items were delivered to the wrong location and burgundy flowers showed up hot pink. BUT, even though the flowers weren't quite the color I'd wanted, the arrangements were gorgeous and I got over it. -

What an amazing disappointment. After our first few meeting we were amazed and they were superstars, five days before my daughters wedding all came crashing down. After we believed we had paid in full for everything, we received a bill for $4,500 on top of the $10,800 already paid. When a simple question for explaination was asked, both Johnathan and Lee became highly offended--we knew we were in trouble. The flowers presented at our wedding did not even resemble the mock-up shown in their office--at this poiint they are denying we saw an actual mock-up-funny we brought dresses, matched fabrics and held bouquets to something--we have the pictures. They ordered draping that was never actually installed for $500.00. While we experienced rain--no one from L and J offered alternate locations for the drapery and there were many placed to install the drapery--it layed on the ground in a loading area. They failed to install lights that were contracted for and paid for--now contend they were installed-- perhaps they intend to take credit for the lighting provided by our venue under a separate contract. They are currently hiding behind a no refund policy--having never complied with the contract terms. They are also hiding behind some sort of artistic license contract provision to excuse the major deviation from what was expected. Our flowers were wilted and we actually paid $400 for an arrangement with 14 roses and simple greenery. Johnathan made one appearance for a 7 minute walk through of our venue--now says we should not be upset because he had no contractual obligation to visit our venue at all. For $10,800 we deserved better. There is so much more to tell about our horrible experience. L and J Productions were a huge mistake. -

These guys were highly recommended to me from many people but turned out to be the worst vendor I worked with. They NEVER responded to emails or sent information until me waiting a couple weeks and asking for it multiple times. We had a demo and after making a couple adjustments the flowers were exactly what I wanted. I thought all the frustrations with the business aspect of this company would be all worth it and the flowers would make up for it. WRONG! The morning my mom picked them up, half of them were withered and dead looking. The bouquets and bouts were not at all what we discussed! What was the point of the demo!? DO NOT hire them!! -

I had a HORRIBLE experience with L&J and they are completely unprofessional. They lost multiple emails that I sent them that included details about the wedding planning. They cancelled one appointment at the last minute (despite the fact that I had to take a half day off from work to go to the appt). They completely no showed to another appointment (despite the fact I left a friend's birthday brunch early to attend the appt). To top it off, when they called me regarding their no-show, they were very rude and completely unapologetic about their mistake. The owner said to me, "We're not saving the world here, we're just doing flowers!" The only saving grace was that I was able to get our deposit back! -
