Have Your Cake And Eat It Too
Looking for dessert for an upcoming event? Look no further than Kyrsten's Sweet Designs! Not only are her cakes stunningly decorated, they are moist and delicious. Deciding to use Kyrsten for our wedding cake was one of the easiest decisions we made. The only difficult choice we faced was choosing flavors because every sample we tried was so tasty. We ultimately chose to have a tiered cake with a different cake, filling, and buttercream combination for each tier. Kyrsten also offers cupcakes which is another great option if you just have to have a variety of flavors as well as beautifully decorated sugar cookies. We had our cake decorated in our wedding colors inspired by the invitations sent. Kyrsten even went above and beyond to include fresh flowers from our florist and to communicate with them ahead of time as to what kinds of flowers to include in her design. We cannot wait to unbox and eat our anniversary cake later this year and plan to order from her for any future events in which a cake, cupcakes, or cookies are needed.

Wedding Cake Dreams Do Exist, and Kysten Can Make 'Em Happen!
Wedding cake dreams do exist, and Kyrsten can do it all. After the first bite of our tasting box, we knew that Kyrsten would be our wedding cake baker. She truly went above and beyond for us. She helped me surprise my husband with his groom’s cake the night of our rehearsal dinner (a southern tradition). She worked with our florist to incorporate florals into our cake design. And most importantly, she created this grand and delicious three tier wedding cake in three different flavors. She also included a first wedding anniversary cake, so we didn’t even have to try and save the top layer on the day of our wedding. How sweet is that! All in all, her cakes not only looked beautiful but tasted exceptional. She truly gave us the best of both worlds, and we are in cake heaven!

Not just a baker, a true artist
When my now husband and I first got engaged, I started envisioning our wedding cake. I knew it had to be delicious but also beautiful. Finding the perfect baker proved to be very difficult. After sampling at least a half dozen different bakeries I almost gave up. Nothing impressed me more than my coworkers baking (and she’s just a hobby baker). Finally, I found Kyrsten. THANK GOODNESS FOR HER.
After chatting with her via email, she set us up with a tasting box of cake flavors of our choosing and then several frostings again of our choosing. We were able to mix and match different cake flavors with the frostings to find our perfect combo(s). I had not seen that idea executed from any other baker so I was extremely impressed. I was even more impressed with how delicious everything was. Her cake was everything I had been searching for. Even my husband was impressed and he doesn’t love sweet treats. Before finding Kyrsten he could care less what cake we had. He definitely cared after having our tasting box!
For our wedding we went with a three-tiered cake that Kyrsten designed herself! I had a few ideas but let her ultimately have creative freedom. Right after we discussed our vision for the cake, she sent us a rough draft of a hand SKETCHED picture of our future cake. Not only is she an amazing baker but a true artist! It was everything we could have dreamed of. We also ordered hand decorated sugar cookies that were not only delicious but once again STUNNING. By the end of the night, there was not a single piece of cake left. I have since received so many complements on our cake.
Kyrsten was hands down one of the easiest vendors to work with. She is extremely organized, has a very easy portal to submit payments, flavors, and any other ideas on, and she also responds to emails VERY quickly. Over the two years working with her, she always remembered everything we talked about and was such a joy to talk to.
I HIGHLY recommend Kyrsten. I can’t wait to have an excuse to work with her again! Seriously though, you will not be disappointed!!

Kyrsten was lovely to work with on creating my sweet/dessert table. She attentively listened to my vision and made it comes true. She was greatly to work with from the beginning to the end. The cake BOSS :)
I did a google search and found Kyrsten’s sweet designs, I am so glad I did that search. I will say we are so lucky to have found her because she is organized, extremely professional and her cakes are amazing. She was one of our favorite vendors to work with I had to fly out to do our cake tasting with her. We live in Arizona however we had our wedding in PA. She worked with my schedule to fly out and was a great host. Kyrsten is so kind, friendly and bakes great cakes. If you have the opportunity to work with her do not miss it, because if you do you are surely missing out. My favorite cake flavor from our wedding was the lemon flavor and filling super yummy.

Kyrsten's cakes are what brought me in but her cookies are what sold me. When I first started looking for a baker cookies weren't even on my mind. But after searching for bakers in the York area and coming across Kyrsten's instagram page full of her beautiful designs, there was no way I wasn't going to have them at our wedding. Both the cake and cookies were absolutely beautiful and delicious! In fact we intentionally ordered extra cookies so that we could take some home with us. We put a bunch in the freezer to snack on every once in a while. We finally finished our last two and I have to say - even frozen they were delicious! Who knew a frozen cookie could taste so good?! We live over an hour away from Kyrsten but still plan on using her for special events in the future. Could not recommend enough!

Kyrsten and her delicious creations are THE BEST! Kyrsten made us a tiered cake and personalized cookies for our Wedding and they were as delicious as they were beautiful! Not only is she very talented but she is absolutely lovely to work with as a vendor. Kyrsten was always so kind and helpful and promptly answered any questions. Omg, not only are her cake designs absolutely beautiful, they taste sooooo delicious. We loved the “trial” cupcakes to help decide on our flavors and really appreciated how easy it was to communicate with her in the months leading up to our big day. The cake was amazing! It was exactly what we wanted- simply, elegant, and delicious! She was very helpful with deciding how big of a cake we would need based on our numbers and even offers sheet cakes! She did a beautiful job of decorating the cake with the fresh flowers provided by my florist (my mom!) and the style fit the vibe of my greenery focus decor perfectly. Kyrsten was absolutely amazing to work with and such a talented baker! She was able to see my vision and make it become a reality for our dessert table, include 2 different cakes and a variety of cupcakes. This Cake is a HIT!
Kyrsten baked our wedding cake for our small backyard wedding this past weekend, and it was both beautiful AND delicious! The Greatest Baker!
Kyrsten is an amazing baker who we loved working with when planning our wedding! First, she baked delicious sugar cookies for my bridal shower that I gave to guests as party favors. Cake queen
I met Kyrsten at a wedding show and was intially drawn in by the really unique display cake she had there, but once I tasted one of her mini cupcake samples and realized how incredibly sweet she was - I was sold! She has a bunch of amazingly delicious flavors to choose from and this was a difficult decision to make - but we went with the vanilla bean cake with vanilla bean buttercream, berry cake with berry buttercream, and marble cake with chocolate buttercream. Her cakes and cookies are also absolute works of art. I love following her on instagram and seeing the amazing designs she comes up with for various weddings and events! Our cake was a huge hit - everyone raved about the design and all the flavors, and the leftovers were gone pretty quickly the day after our wedding when friends and family stopped by. Luckily we still have our anniversary cake to look forward to! Kyrsten was a dream to work with from beginning to end and I could not possibly recommend her enough!!

Krysten was so wonderful to work with and she created a beautiful cake for our wedding. Our first meeting with her was our cake tasting and we had such a fun experience. We got individual cupcakes with the flavors of cake we selected and then the icings and fillings were in separate cups so we could mix the different cakes with the different icings. This was so nice because we were able to find the right combination of flavors for our cake! We were on a little bit of a budget and Kyrsten made suggestions on how we could keep our cost down. She was so thoughtful, detailed and communicative through the whole process. Our cake was delivered on time and set up exactly as we wanted it and it was BEAUTIFUL! We chose traditional flavors and design and were not disappointed. We also opted to rent decor/supplies which were the perfect touch. There was no hassle at all and we look forward to working with her again for other special occasions.

We loved kyrsten!
My husband and I got married on November 9, 2019 and we can't say enough about Kyrsten! If you are looking for a vendor to do your wedding cake, cupcakes, cookies, etc., look no further! She was one of our favorite vendors to work with during our wedding planning process. She made our experience so seamless and was extremely thorough and accommodating! She does a private tasting with you in her home where she does all of her baking- so impressive! Every one of her cake and icing flavors were delicious, it was hard to choose. We ended up doing a cake, cupcakes, and cookies so we had a whole table of desserts for our guests to enjoy. Not only did they taste exquisite, but it looked beautiful! The dessert table was one of my favorite parts of the room. You are able to rent all kinds of beautiful stands and trays for the table and she takes care of all the set up! She also made us an anniversary cake that we received ahead of time so we didn't have to worry about it that evening. We can't recommend Kyrsten enough! xoxoxo

Delicious and beautiful!
Kyrsten was such a pleasure to work with and her cake and cupcakes are DELICIOUS! Our guests absolutely raved about them - as did some coworkers who were lucky enough to enjoy some leftovers! Kyrsten made us a beautiful naked-style cake with gold leaf that was stunning and an assortment of cupcakes. She was so thoughtful as well - including a box of cupcakes for me and my husband, knowing that we probably wouldn't get to taste test them all at our reception. :) Oh, and a small anniversary cake was included! Highly recommend!!

Kyrsten was an absolute dream to work with!! From the beginning she was responsive and accommodating. She is quick to answer any questions and her prices are extremely affordable. Not to mention her cake is AMAZING! I could not be more happy with our wedding cake and cupcakes (and bridal shower cookies!). Tasted amazing!
We had cupcakes and a cutting cake at our wedding, and everything tasted amazing. Kyrsten allowed us to pick whatever flavor combinations we wanted for the cupcakes. We went with chocolate cake and peanut butter icing, vanilla cake and salted caramel icing, and funfetti cake with oreo icing. She even set a small box aside for us to enjoy after the wedding!! We highly recommend her for your wedding cake needs!

A total dream!
Kyrsten was a DREAM to work with. We had first tried her cupcakes at a wedding show called Behind the Bash. We took one bite and knew immediately we wanted her to do our wedding cake. Her cakes and cupcakes are to DIE for. Not only was her food amazing, she herself is an amazing person. She was so kind and helpful and answered all of our many questions. Delicious and beautiful cake
Krysten's cakes are as delicious as they are beautiful! She created the most beautiful wedding cake for us and helped us work in THREE different flavor combinations for our guests :) Her cake is that good, we couldn't settle on just one flavor combo. She is so easy to work with and she really made my cake dreams come true. Now my husband and I are counting down the days until we get to eat our anniversary tier!

Beautiful cake and delicious
Simple "naked" cake that florist added flowers too. She went out of her way to make our cake before leaving on her own vacation. Samples were all amazing and our final choice lemon cake with raspberry was to die for!

We did a single tier cake for cutting and cupcakes for our guests. Everything was delicious!!! I ate a piece of wedding cake for desert every day after the wedding until it was gone, I loved it so much! I will definitely be working with Kyrsten again for future special occasion cakes!!

I would highly recommend Kyrsten’s sweet designs to anyone who is looking for delicious and high quality cakes or cupcakes. She was such a joy to work with for my wedding I actually even had her make my now husbands 30th birthday cake, and bridal shower cookies! From the moment I met Kyrsten she was nothing but professional, aimed to please, and was very accommodating. Nothing was a bother for her to do for us! I even went to a few wedding expo’s just because I knew she would be there and I could sample more of her delicious products. Thanks again Kyrsten for putting the icing on our cake for our wedding! Beautiful Cake!
Kyrsten was an absolute dream to work with! My husband has celiac's so one of the first questions I was asking bakers when looking to hire them was if they had gluten free options. Most bakers had the usual vanilla and chocolate, so I was SHOCKED when I saw how many different flavor options Kyrsten had that were gluten free. We decided to do a two layer gluten free carrot cake for our cutting cake and then 2 different flavors of regular cupcakes for the rest. ALL of the guests absolutely loved all of the cakes! She even did adorable sugar succulents on the chocolate cake and cute sugar flowers on the lemon. We can't thank Kyrsten enough for her delicious cake and amazing attention to detail!

I was referred to Kyrsten through my florist and "hiring" (that's weird for me to say since I feel like we are friends!) her is one of THE BEST decisions my now husband and I made. From the very beginning of wedding planning I had a very specific "vision" of this glorious dessert bar at that would be both beautiful and an array of sweets for both my guests and my husband and I to enjoy. We met with Kyrsten in December 2017 (I think!) and decided on a small cake for cutting as well as dozens of cupcakes in four flavors. Like I said before, one of THE BEST decisions we made. The cake was GORGEOUS and exactly what my husband and I envisioned. We wanted a cake that resembled marble with gold leaf and it turned out better than I could have ever imagined (see photo attached....when I receive more photos from the photographer I will be updating to reflect what the dessert table looked like with the cupcakes as well). Last but not least, I must mention that not only are Krysten's sweets beautiful to look at, they are absolutely delicious!!!! Oh and BRIDES - seriously read this part....MAKE SOME SORT OF ANNOUNCEMENT OR SIGN STATING THAT NO ONE GOES NEAR THE DESSERT TABLE BEFORE YOU AND YOUR SPOUSE HAVE CUT THE CAKE!!! That is literally the only thing I would have changed regarding my wedding. People go NUTS for desserts, especially when they are made by one of the best bakers around, like Kyrsten!

If we could give Kyrsten more than five stars, we would do so in a heartbeat! She was a pleasure to work with, was very responsive, and most importantly, her cake and cupcakes were delicious! Kyrsten was upfront with pricing and product details when we spoke with her during our vendor research. When meeting her for a tasting, Kyrsten had a variety of cake and frosting flavors for us to sample. She was very receptive to our cake design ideas and was willing to take the lead in setting up our cupcake table. She was very flexible and she really just wanted us to be happy. We had a wedding cake and four flavors of cupcakes for our wedding - all of which got rave reviews. Her chocolate peanut butter cupcakes were gone in a matter of minutes! We would recommend Kyrsten to anyone, and will be ordering more cupcakes and cakes from her in the future!

She was able to create a wedding cake that looked identical to the pictures that we sent her and showed her at our consultation and tasting, which is included in her pricing. Along with our wedding cake, she also provided us with our favors, which were beautiful and tasted even better. Everything that she made made looked absolutely amazing and tasted better! I had the dream team when I, not knowingly,found both Kyrsten and Sarah separately. Not only do these ladies work well together but they are both experts in their areas. The cake was gorgeous AND absolutely delicious! And thank you for letting us have different flavors on different tiers - guests couldn't stop raving about both flavor combinations. I cannot compliment Kyrsten’s Sweet Designs enough--- not only is Kyrsten one of the nicest women you will ever meet, she is professional, responsive, and EVERYTHING she makes is DELICIOUS! We wanted a spice flavored cake for our holiday wedding, and she was more than happy to play around with a few recipes until she was able to finalize one for our cake….not to mention, it tasted AMAZING. The cookies she makes are of the most delicate, adorable, and creative designs! They seem too pretty to eat!! Usually cookies that look that good don’t taste great—but my guests have not stopped complimenting them. My dad even ordered a few extra dozen of her sugar cookies to send back with my brother as he goes back to college for the second semester. The cupcakes were incredible, too. I am usually not a big sweets eater, but I found myself devouring the cookies and cupcakes on our wedding night! I don’t have enough positive words to say about Kyrsten—HIRE HER!! You won’t be disappointed ☺

Kyrsten was recommended to us by our wonderful wedding photographer, Addie Eshelman. Kyrsten was absolutely amazing throughout the entire wedding planning process. She made things easy and personal, even scheduled a one on one couples cake tasting for us with the flavors we wanted to try. Her cake is honestly the best I have ever had and her cookies are SO addicting! Her creations are even more delicious than they look. Her artistry and attention to detail is incredible! I found a cake look on Pinterest that I fell in love with and she created a wedding cake for us that was out of my dreams! My jaw dropped when I saw it and I could not stop looking at the details. It was four tiers and just stunning! So many people at our wedding commented both how beautiful our cake was and also how delicious! Kyrsten also created cookie favors for our Oct 29, 2017 and were very festive white pumpkins and maple leaves. Guests told us that they loved their cookies! We can’t thank Kyrsten enough for how hard she worked to create our beautiful cake. She is even more beautiful than the creations she designs and has been an absolute pleasure to work with every step of the way. I am obsessed with her goodies and we will be ordering things from her for years to come!

Kyrsten was absolutely incredible in bringing our vision to reality for our wedding cake! It was absolutely perfect and not only did it look amazing but it tasted great too! We were able to have a sheet cake to supplement the tiered cake and Kyrsten matched the design so you would have never known that there was a sheet cake at all! Not only was the cake beautiful and tasted great but Kyrsten was one of the nicest people to work with! I did not have to worry about the cake or set up of the display at all! Her pricing is extremely reasonable, especially for the quality and design that goes into each cake and display. Kyrsten created a gorgeous 3 tier wedding cake, adorned with fresh flowers, as well as cupcakes for our wedding. Every guest I've spoken too was absolutely delighted with the taste and display (which she put together herself). Yes! If you go with Kyrsten you'll be able to check cake table set up off of your list; you can rent the stands and display pieces from her (she has tons to choose from) and then she will come and set it all up (in a way you previously approved). Honestly she is a no-stress, perfect choice for you wedding day!

I don't mean to brag, but we had THE BEST wedding cake I've ever had at our wedding, all thanks to Kyrsten. Before we even met for the first tasting, I liked her as a person. Super responsive, offered suggestions for flavor combos to try, just really nice. Then we went for our tasting at her house and were blown away. We tasted cakes from about 5 different places and hers were by far the best and frankly less expensive than several places we visited. My husband is not a big sweets fan, but ooh'ed and ahh'ed when we left the tasting. The morning after our wedding we had extra cake so my in-laws brought a box out to the hotel lobby where people were eating breakfast - there was a mad dash to polish that off!!
Oh, did I mention that the cake was also gorgeous and Kyrsten did three different flavors for us?

We definitely took our time when researching and picking our vendors, but we didn't hesitate when it came to Krysten. Kyrsten was not only a dream to work with, but she's extremely talented! From start to finish she was professional, kind, and accommodating. We had an idea in our head of what we wanted for our cake (a henna-inspired design), gave her a picture of what we were thinking and our wedding colors, and told her we trusted her! What she delivered was incredible--she's so creative and has obviously mastered her craft. The cake was one of the most commented-on parts of our wedding from both a taste and design standpoint: everybody loved it! It was definitely a highlight for my husband and I. Krysten's cakes are beautiful, delicious, and well-priced. (My mom and grandma also ended up ordering cookies from her as favors for my bridal shower, and they were wonderful, too!) If you're currently searching for someone to do your cake, I highly recommend Kyrsten.

Krysten was wonderful to work with and is very passionate about her creations which shows in her work. We chose cupcakes for our daughter's wedding along with a cutting cake and could not have been more pleased. Many compliments were given on not only the taste but the presentation as well. Four flavors were arranged on the tiered plate, differentiated by small, colored, edible flowers. A framed guide sat beside the plate describing each cupcake flavor by flower color. A super touch and easy way for guests to choose what they wanted.
We had Kyrsten make a special cake for our son's 21st birthday recently and will call on her again for our special occasion dessert needs.

My husband and I decided to have Kyrsten make cookie wedding favors and a cake for the rehearsal. But, I had a secret plan to have the rehearsal cake design to be a surprise and also have Krysten make a groom’s cake. Kyrsten is so sweet to work with. She guided me through coming up with a design for the cookies. We pulled in little details from different parts of the wedding and combined them into a beautiful cookie. The sculpted rehearsal cake was a 1981 Camaro that was modified based on how my husband wants to rebuild his car. The sculpted groom’s cake for the wedding was a tree trunk with bark texture and our initials engraved on the side with a camo pattern hat on top of the trunk and shotgun shell casings. The only bad part of things was that everything was so amazing that we didn’t want to cut it and eat the cake. It looked so real that people didn’t know that it was a cake. Kyrsten’s artistic ability is beyond amazing…it’s incredible. After we reluctantly cut the two cakes, people loved the cake since it tasted as amazing as it looked. We went with the almond flavored cake with Kyrsten’s homemade strawberry preserves. We loved the fact that she makes her own preserves. My husband and I would recommend Kyrsten’s Sweet Designs to anyone. We are looking forward to using Kyrsten’s Sweet Designs for any future event where we would need a cake or cookie favor.

Kyrsten was an absolute rock star to work with!! When we walked into our cake consultation, she was so sweet and sincere. She truly loves what she does. The 3 cake flavors we went with were sooo good ( choc/pb, almond/raspberry buttercream, cinnamon swirl/ caramel buttercream). Her attention to detail and design is amazing as well. Our cake looked stunning and totally fit our art deco theme. She truly has a gift and is so worth using for your wedding cake dreams!

There were a few vendors that I just knew we had to go with before we even had a date and location - Kyrsten was one of them! Not only are her cakes (or in our case, cupcakes) beautiful, but they are also absolutely delicious. Kyrsten AND her designs are super sweet, and we loved working with her! We were able to taste multiple flavors and combinations to narrow down our selections. I am extremely grateful for her creativeness and willingness to design our cutting cake with just a few details on our colors and theme. By the time we got to those details, I was so burnt out from making decision after decision, and Kyrsten cheerfully did what she does best. We ended up with a beautiful display of cupcakes and cutting cake that couldn't have been more perfect! We've ordered birthday and special occasion cakes from Kyrsten as well, and her quality and service are consistent. We will definitely be enjoying more of Kyrsten's sweets in the future :)

The cake looked exactly as we imagined and tasted delicious. It was very easy to work with Kyrsten. All the flavors are great and it was hard to choose. Prices are very reasonable and you get as much if not more from the more expensive stores.

Kyrsten's Sweet Designs created our truly amazing wedding cake. She was highly recommended to us by our florist, and we could not have been more pleased wth what she did for our wedding day. My husband and I had a few ideas in mind of a design for a cake, but couldn't make a final decision. I let it in Kyrsten's hands to create something beautiful with a few pictures of ideas we had, and we were AMAZED at the creation she came up with! Not only was the cake flawless, but absolutely delicious! Our guests raved about the cake and how amazing it was. On top of the excellent reviews from our guest, we ended up with a lot of extra cake along with our anniversary cake to bring home and share with those who couldn't be there! The different flavors, amazing prices, and accommodating personality that Kyrsten had truly put me at ease for our special day and we couldn't be more grateful for what she did! You will not be disappointed. Kyrsten was so helpful and accommodating. Not only was her cake gorgeous, it was honestly the best tasting cake I've ever had, hands down. Her icing was not overly sweet, but rather tasted like whipped butter. We could not find the live flowers we wanted on our cake so she MADE them instead and they were spectacular. People did not believe they were sugar until the kiddos started to eat them. And the banana cake with peanut butter filling was a total hit.
We've already decided that we will be ordering a cake from her every year for our anniversary.
Seriously, Kyrsten is the one you want for your wedding cake.

Kyrsten's Sweet Designs are sweet in every way! I will never use another bakery professional! Kyrsten was so easy to work with and her products are delicious! I am a bakery snob and feel as if the Harrisburg area is very lacking in quality bakeries. Kyrsten's baked goods taste like what your grandmother used to make..... only better! Not only are her products delicious but the presentation is phenomenal. We used Kyrsten's Sweet Designs for our daughter's wedding at Ironstone Ranch. We had a combination of a wedding cake for cutting (serving 50 people - family tables and head table served cake) and then a variety of cupcakes (10 dozen). Our guests raved about the cake and cupcakes. I have also had Kyrsten's cupcakes at corporate events, and they never disappoint. You are going to spend some decent money on a wedding cake no matter where you go. You might as well get your money's worth and secure Kyrsten's Sweet Designs. Her prices are reasonable and she is extremely professional and a pleasure to work with. She is my go to baking vendor from now on! You seriously cannot go wrong! I highly recommend her!

Kyrsten is as sweet as her cakes! Amazing at her craft. She gave us the exact design we explained we wanted that absolutely topped off the look of our rustic wedding. The flavors we had included lemon, cinnamon, almond, amaretto, vanilla and chocolate, and they were even more delicious than we remembered in our tasting! The price was so great for the outstanding quality. She even included an anniversary cake we could freeze instead of taking the top off of our cake. She let us choose up to 4 types of cakes and fillings for our tasting appointment, which was definitely one of the highlights of wedding planning! She worked with us on every detail until we designed our dream cake. She checked in often to make sure things were going well and to make sure we didn't have questions or changes. She was very professional and super nice. She includes a free anniversary cake ready to freeze...or enjoy the next day! Her cake was not too heavy and very flavorful. I had the pleasure of working with Kyrsten for my rehearsal dinner cake. Her cakes and cookies are such an amazing work of art! Kyrsten made three cakes for Logan and me for our wedding. The first one she made was a bride and groom minion cake for our bridal shower! It was adorable and our guests loved it! Then, she made a phenomenal "Hokie" cake for my husband for his Groom's cake at our rehearsal dinner. The detail was flawless. My husband explained to her what he wanted and she nailed it. Kyrsten made the Hokie sit in Lane Stadium (Virginia Tech). We were amazed! She did the pumpkin spice cake and the vanilla filling and it was delicious! All our family and friends loved the cake! At our wedding, Kyrsten did a beautiful job with our wedding cake. We had a 4-tier cake with a chocolate cake and peanut butter filling on the bottom and top which we absolutely loved, and then two other flavors in the other two layers! Aside from Kyrsten's incredible talents with cakes, she is a wonderful person. She is so sweet and wants to give you the best she can possibly give. We can't thank her enough for all the work she put into our cakes!

She did the bridal shower cake using minions as the bride and groom; cookies with bride and groom minions, wedding cake, bride's shoes, etc.; a groom's cake with the VA Tech Hokie bird sitting on Lane Stadium; and finally the wedding cake with real flowers incorporated into the design. They were not only spectacular looking, but the cakes tasted out of this world! We will continue to use Kyrsten for our special occasions coming up.

LOVEEEEE Kyrsten!! Since I was planning my wedding from a good distance away, it was so difficult to plan without recommendations from friends or family. I went on the knot.com and wedding wire and found great reviews from both, so I HAD to check it out. Kyrsten cleared her schedule just to meet with my mom and I. She is such a sweet person and really made our tasting experience so fun and comfortable. We booked her on the spot - We went with a small two tiered cake which she gave us suggestions to decorate it ( simple and classy). She kindly will bake us a fresh cake for our one year anniversary - no yucky freezer burnt cake for us! We of course had cupcakes since they were so yummy and all natural ( chocolate/raspberry, Lemon/vanilla bean, carrot/cream cheese, and cookies& cream/ vanilla) She provided a guide and framed sign for all my guests so they knew the favors. We also had her create cookies in the form of the states my husband and I are from with little hearts near our home towns ( a HUGE crowd favorite!) LASTLY, but my favorite part, we worked together to design the most amazing grooms cake! A huge state of PA with all the important towns and symbols that are most important to my husband. Our daughter had a photograph of a cake she liked, and I was stunned by the exact representation Kyrsten made for her! Not only was the cake visually perfect, it was absolutely delicious. The cake was the perfect texture, and the fillings and icings were not overly sweet nor bland. I could not have hoped for a better cake. To top it off, Kyrsten is a joy to work with. My mother saw Krysten at a craft fair and picked up a card and brought it to my attention! We were looking for cakes for our wedding and I immediately contacted Krysten to set up a tasting! Not only did she respond back quickly, she was awesome with working with my schedule since I now live 3 hours away! She was the only one we needed to do a taste test with, she was so sweet and had such great flavors! She worked so well with our ideas, and helped with suggestions! My mom had met Kyrsten at a local craft show a shortly before I got engaged, and luckily for me, she picked up a brochure. After our engagement, my husband and I set up a tasting with Kyrsten, and needless to say, we didn't go anywhere else! Her sweet personality and dedication to making beautiful and delicious treats made our decision so easy. I had asked Kyrsten to create a groom's cake for our rehearsal - not only was it exactly what I was looking for, but it tasted amazing! About a year prior to our wedding, I just happened to find her on wedding wire, and from our first meeting/tasting we were blown away with her creativity and the amazing flavor of her cake! Where do I start? I knew I didn't want the large, popular baker options in the area for my wedding cake. I came across Kyrsten's information online and was so impressed with her talent that I didn't look anywhere else! She was the only baker we met with, and we booked her on the spot! She was genuinely interested in our day, our needs and our wishes. Communication with her was seamless, and we loved the countless cake options/flavors! We chose a small cutting cake, and we went with a cupcake table that included 3 different flavors of cake/icing. They were a HUGE hit! Several people had more than one, and some guests were so impressed with their appearance/flavor that I caught them posting pictures on Instagram. I absolutely adored Kyrsten! I could not be more thrilled with my experience. She is so sweet and fantastic to work with. We got a small cake to cut and four flavors of cupcakes for our wedding guests. Each was both beautiful and delicious. She also included a free anniversary cake--so thoughtful! Every step of the process was seamless. Kyrsten is receptive to any idea and provides wonderful feedback. Bottom line, her cake is phenomenal, better than any bakery! Hire her now!

Beyond excellent service, talent and taste! She made my wedding cake which was delicious and amazingly beautiful. She has a wide variety of buttercream frostings and cake flavors to choose from. I received numerous compliments from my guests on how yummy the cake was and how beautifully designed it was. She is the nicest woman and very professional and accommodating! She helped make the wedding cake process very easy and stress-free for me (which every bride needs!) From taste testing and picking the right flavors to her coordinating with the reception venue to set-up, it was a very easy and smooth process! She is truly talented! I highly recommend her!

She did an AMAZING job! Everything was so delicious and tasty! A lot of my friends and relatives had 2 or 3 cupcakes because they wanted to try all of the flavors after having one! Very easy to work with and the end result was even better than I had imagined! If you want quality work from a quality person, I suggest going with Kyrsten--you won't be disappointed! Awesome job lady!

We used Kyrsten's Sweet Designs for our wedding cake. We opted to go with a small cake for us on top and then 5 different flavors of cupcakes. Krysten delivered and set up the cupcakes for us. Not only did they look great, but they tasted great too! Everyone told me how much they enjoyed the cupcakes and tried multiple flavors. Kyrsten was also nice enough to include a small anniversary freezer cake for us!! The cakes were really fresh and even after a week, I'm still eating my wedding cake and it tastes great! I would highly recommend getting your cake and/or cupcakes from Kyrsten's Sweet Designs.

I have so many good things to say about Kyrsten's Sweet Designs, but should start by saying how comforting it was to find someone so genuinely interested in our occasion and plans, and how perfectly executed her product was. We had visited a few bakeries in the area, and they all seemed to be too busy to spend any amount of time with us. When we found Kyrsten, we felt like we discovered a hidden gem in the Harrisburg region. Her adorable business is so welcoming and gives you a ton of inspiration with all the tasteful photos and decor she includes in her office/shop. We had such a fun tasting with her, and throughout all of our planning, we felt that she had become a friend who was dedicated to customizing our experience. This personalized customer service even continued after our wedding, when she posted a thoughtful blog article about our day and all the elements that fit into the theme with her beautiful cake. The cake was a three tiered wedding cake with a chevron pattern and sugar flowers that were so perfectly hand-crafted. Our guests are still telling us how delicious the cake was, and we plan to order an anniversary cake and all future special occasion baked goods from Kyrsten's Sweet Designs in the future!! Truly a one-of-a-kind business in the area!!!
