    Hire her! Hire her! Hire her!

    If anyone knows my fiance, they know the only thing he hates more than getting is photo taken is PDA, so I was nervous for our engagement shoot.. until we actually met with Kasey and got started! Kasey was so easy to work with; she really helped my fiance and I come out of shell and feel comfortable in front of the camera. She turned a freezing cold and some what snowy (I was actually super excited that it snowed!) into a warm, heart felt and meaningful adventure. I didn't think anything could be more perfect than our experience until I received almost 80 beautifully edited photos!! These photos are going to be forever cherished and I am beyond ecstatic with how they turned out. I can't wait to work with her on our wedding day and see more of her amazing work

    Kasey is amazing!

    We highly recommend Kasey!! She is so professional, fun, and great to work with! We had our engagement shoot 3 weeks ago, and she has already sent over our gallery. The pictures are amazing and we could not be happier with how they turned out. We can't wait to see what she does for our big day!!! Thank you Kasey!

    We haven't even gotten to the best part yet.

    We are both pretty awkward people, especially around cameras, such that we avoid them and have about five photos of us together from our six-year relationship, three of which are terrible. We were therefore extremely selective and maybe even a little unsure about getting a photographer for our wedding, but thought our families wouldn't forgive us if we didn't. However, we're SO GLAD Kasey was available to photograph our upcoming day, and even gave us a taste of the good life with engagement photos. She was relaxed, funny and made you forget she was even there at times, plus she fed us donuts and coffee. Kasey managed to capture so many natural moments, and even got some beautiful ones of the two of us which we will treasure forever and we haven’t even had our wedding yet! She might just be a magician.

    An amazing experience.

    Kasey was wonderful. Truly couldn't ask for a better photography team. She was great at giving direction without it being awkward, her team was somehow everywhere around the wedding/reception capturing the best moments. They were awesome.

    Amazing Engagement Session

    Working with Kasey has been wonderful! She provided a list of locations for us to choose from. Some close and some far away. She was willing to go about 45 mins out to take our pictures. She even provided a little article on suggestions of what to wear! During our shoot it was raining, but she still gave it 100%. We received our photos about 3 weeks after and they were to die for! You can't even tell that it was down pouring near the end of the photos. She did an amazing job and we can't wait for our wedding photos as well!!

    Wedding and Engagement

    Kasey is absolutely wonderful! From her talented photos to her bubbly personality, she truly offers it all! She is willing to work with you on capturing such special memories. She understands the beauty of real moments and can capture them so well! My fiancé and I have loved all the photos she delivered to us from our engagement session, we can’t wait to see what she does at the wedding!

    Kasey is amazing!

    Kasey was super nice and easy to work with. Her package includes an engagement shoot which helped us prep for our big day. She made my husband and I super comfortable in front of the camera. This girl is super talented. Four days after our wedding we received our wedding sneak peeks. Every picture was amazing there wasn't any pictures that we did not like. We can't wait until she delivers the rest of our gallery. Highly recommend Kasey!!

    Amazing Photographer

    Kasey is WONDERFUL! She took our engagement pictures and made us feel super comfortable in front of the camera. She edited our pictures really fast and I pretty much favorited every single one in the gallery. My fiancé and I laugh about the amount of “nose nuzzling” we did, but the pictures were worth it and turned out SO WELL! She tries super hard to let everything be natural rather than super posed. She’s easy to get along with and really flexible. I would recommend her 1,000 times over and over again.

    Kasey do our engagement photos, which turned out great so we booked her for our wedding.

    Kasey was great to work with! She is was easy to communicate with and during the session gave great feed back. I would recommend her for anyone looking for a great professional photographer, who is reasonably priced, and who takes great photos!

    A night of magic

    Kasey was truly amazing. She was professional and very talented. My boyfriend and I loved the way these photos turned out and we have them hung all over our new home. It was a great experience and if you are looking for a magical, beautiful, bohemian vibe for your wedding or just a fun date night, she is your girl.

    Photo Session

    Kasey took breathtaking photos of me and my fiance at Letchworth State Park. She was able to capture our real emotions while also displaying the beauty of this location. She was extremely accommodating, and made us feel comfortable in front of the camera for our first photo shoot ever! She takes the time to make sure she gets the perfect picture, with the best angles and lighting. Kasey is a pleasure to be around; she is professional but made us laugh the entire time! I highly recommend her for any wedding, engagement or couples photos!

    Amazing wedding photographer!

    Kasey photographed our wedding on 8/10/18, and our pictures turned out so beautiful. We booked her last minute when our planned photographer fell through, and it's true what they say, everything happens for a reason! She was extremely responsive, flexible, and worked with our budget and needs/preferences. We received our gallery within a reasonable timeframe, great quality photos and editing- no complaints. Plus she's the sweetest, I would definitely recommend her to anyone!

    Gorgeous photos, organized and passionate photographer

    First and foremost, the quality of the photographs were sublime. Kasey and her second photographer were everywhere at the wedding and the final shots are stunning. My husband's grandmother could not make it to the wedding, so being able to share every moment through the beautiful photos was really important.

    Kasey was also absolutely wonderful to work with and amazingly organized. She gave us her professional opinion when we needed it and let us do our thing when we wanted to.

    It is also worth noting that we had to plan the wedding remotely, and Kasey was very flexible and easy to communicate with.

    Absolutely would recommend Kasey for your shoot of any kind.

    Beyond unprofessional - Don't go through what I did

    I really wish I was writing a great review right now. All I wanted was a stress-free post-wedding. Kasey's pictures are beautiful and she did a good job on the day of my wedding. But it was her lack of professionalism and responsibility that made the weeks after my wedding so stressful. She falsely promised to deliver the pictures 6-8 weeks after the wedding (then changing the date two more times) before disappearing and not returning my texts, emails and social media messages for days. She also broke her own contract, delivering after the date she first established (about 14 weeks after the party, leaving us beyond frustrated about it). We would be absolutely OK with a late delivery if only we were contacted/told about it. We still don’t know what happened and why she disappeared. The lack of communication and false promises were the worst behavior I could have asked for. I am sharing this because I really hope no one else goes thought it. Planning a wedding is stressful enough, you should at least hire vendors that are going to make it easier (not harder) for you.

    Poor Business/Rigid during COVID when promising the opposite.

    I took my time to think before sharing what was necessary when writing such a poor review since this is something that I do not like to do for a local Rochester business. I agree with many of the previous reviews. Kasey is friendly, personable, responsive, and takes a personal interest in her clients. Kasey emailed and texted me many times that she and James would work with us in whatever we decided to do amidst the pandemic when it began. We were reassured in many emails that they were going "above and beyond" for their clients who needed to reschedule, and willing to help every step navigating what to do next. Ultimately, do COVID, it was literally impossible for us to get married on the original wedding date and requested a full refund ($2500) - less $500 for securing the date. Our hope was that they would respect this request and then work with them on a new date down the road. But after expressing our wishes, Kasey explained our two options: Either we sign a 'rescheduling contract’ or choose to cancel and lose all paid deposits. Claiming to be flexible with clients in the current COVID crisis is crucial to ensure trust, yet these options showed no flexibility. We found this ultimatum distasteful, given the circumstances, and certainly not delivering on their claim of “going above and beyond" for their couples. It was disappointing and unfortunate that Kasey and James did not show any of that flexibility promised when called upon. What was especially distasteful and showing poor business was KW Photography and Designs’ expression of entitlement to keep all $2500.00 in this financial crisis.
