We couldn’t be happier with Kurt as our wedding photographer! From the very first conversation, he was professional, organized, and so easy to work with. On our wedding day, he made us feel completely comfortable and captured every special moment beautifully—both the big emotions and the small details. Our photos are timeless, natural, and better than we ever imagined. We will treasure them forever and highly recommend him to any couple looking for someone truly talented and reliable. -

Kurt Captures Special Wedding Abroad!
Kurt Nielsen Photography, Inc. beautifully captured our destination wedding in Riviera Maya, Mexico. Kurt and his team were consummate professionals. He has such a vision of how to capture the most amazing photos while also mindfully incorporating all of our hopes and desires into his work. Kurt and his whole team are friendly, considerate, intentional, and accommodating folks who are very easy to work with. Kurt was our only outside vendor at our resort and he jumped right into the wedding planning process and helped make the whole experience smooth. The resort noted how easy it was to work with Kurt!!!!
We wholeheartedly trusted him and his team behind the camera and they did not disappoint! They genuinely care about the people they work with and they put so much heart and hard work into photographing each and every clients special day! He has such a way with people, especially kiddos, and can make anyone smile/laugh within seconds!
We will forever cherish the memories that Kurt captured! -

We had the photobooth at our wedding, our guests loved it! We got to pick our own backgrounds and we even got a scrapbook of all of the pictures taken with notes from the guests. We got the scrapbook at the end of the night! It’s the best photobooth I’ve seen, you get a 4x6 picture printed out right after you have your picture taken! They even provide cute and funny signs as well as props like boas and big sunglasses, it’s really fun! I highly recommend Kurt’s photobooth! He’s also an amazing photographer! He made sure my dress was fluffed perfectly. He even notices the smallest details like the clasp of my necklace. Definitely a great photographer! -

Kurt is the best! I am so glad we choose him to photograph our wedding. He doesn’t miss a thing, and he is super easy to work with. He does a great job wrangling the wedding party for pictures, and makes the whole process easy. Our pictures came out beautifully, and there were so many to choose from for prints. I can’t imagine working with anyone else! -

We are so glad that we went with Kurt for our wedding. He did a marvelous job. I already knew him from doing such a great job with my senior pictures (and baby pictures) and felt very comfortable working him throughout the entire process. The engagement photos which were included in the package we purchased were a nice way to become familiar working together and we loved how they turned out. On the wedding day itself, Kurt is with you for every step of the way trying to get great, unique shots that you will love. He even found a security person at the zoo and asked them if we could use the carousel. Our guests all loved the green screen and that they got printed copies of the photos. You get to pick 6-7 backgrounds and there are lots of props available. Kurt's staff also makes a really neat scrape book with the pictures for your guests in the photo book that they sign. We LOVED how the photos turned out and would highly recommend Kurt for wedding and other professional photography needs! -

There’s a reason Kurt Nielsen photography wins awards year after year and it’s because Kurt is the best!! We purchased the Complete Wedding Package which included the engagement photo session, up to 12 hours of wedding day shooting and the photo booth with a scrapbook for everyone to sign and put pictures in. Kurt was really great at managing our big bridal party of 20 people including us, he kept us focused to get great photos even after being on a party bus which isn’t an easy task! He was so good with kids and getting our ring bearers to laugh or smile for pictures. He captured every moment and what I love so much is that when he gives you your pictures, he gives you every single shot he took! You can tell that Kurt knows what he is doing and has been doing this for a long time. I highly recommend him and the complete package as well. Our guests loved the photo booth and props! The cool part is it will print off a photo for every person in the picture and an extra one for them to put in your scrapbook you get to take home that night after your wedding day. We got to pick different backgrounds for the guests to choose from for the green screen. The sky is the limit when it comes to different backgrounds to choose from! The turn around time of getting our wedding photos was fast. He even included all the digital pictures from the photo booth too. I highly recommend him to trust for your wedding photos!!! :) -

Kurt was great to work with! He is the whole package. From engagement pictures to the very end of our reception Kurt was there. We also had his photo booth and portable photo booth which were a huge hit at our wedding. He is very friendly and fun to work with. Highly recommend! Kurt was absolutely amazing!
Kurt was absolutely wonderful to work with! He did both our engagement and wedding photos and they turned out better than we could have hoped for! Kurt had so many awesome ideas for our wedding party photos which I had been worried about because we had a very large wedding party. He kept our entire group focused and on time for the reception and we had a blast! We even worked in an extra stop for photos last minute! We also used Kurt’s photo booth at our reception and our guests had a blast with it. For months after our reception our guests would rave about how fun it was an how great their photos turned out! We had so many photos of our reception, it was as if we didn’t miss a minute of it! Every single guest was pictured. We couldn’t have asked for better! I can’t say enough about how awesome Kurt was! By far the best Toledo has to offer! -

We used Kurt for our photography and we also used the photobooth. Every moment of the day was captured, from the salon until the last song of the night. The photobooth was a huge hit and we loved looking back at everyone using it the whole night. Jackie Sent on 11/13/2017We just got back from picking up our wedding photos and couldn't be more happy! His package included our engagement photos, all day for our wedding, a photo booth, all printing rights to all photos, and a slideshow. Kurt is easy to talk to and definitely made us feel comfortable. It was a little muddy the day we took our engagement photos but he was prepared with a towel to sit on. He did a great job of getting posed and kandid photos at the wedding. He didn't get in our way and we didn't even realize he took several of the photos that he did. I was so happy we choose him since we didn't get a videographer because he was there from when we arrived at the salon in the morning until the DJ stopped at the end of the night. The guests loved the photo booth and he provided an abundance of props . His pricing is also very reasonable. I would highly recommend him. We will definitely be using him for any future professional photos we have done. -

He went above and beyond what I would expect of our photographer. He was actually the first person to arrive at the venue on the day of the wedding. He was so helpful with everything. He made the whole family feel comfortable. The pictures are beautiful. He stayed until the very end and really captured the day perfectly! I definitely recommend him!

Kimberly Sent on 10/21/2017Kurt was amazing every time we met with him. I first fell in love with his photo booth and how cool it was. You get 4 by 6 prints and get to pick the backgrounds. I then went to a bridal show in 2015 and we signed with him right away. He works so hard every time he meets with you. He explains that his job is to capture your wedding day and wow he really did. A lot of my guests made comments about how hard he worked that day and how amazing the photo booth was. When we got our photos and the dvd of all our photos to music; we were speechless. The photos were amazing. If you tell him what you want he does it. He is very easy to work with. We forgot to get our thank you picture and he was already in his van talking to us and I told him and he got out and took a few at midnight that night and he had been there since 10:30am. I would recommend him to everyone. His time and photos are worth what you pay for them and my package included engagement photos too. We really liked all the pictures there wasn’t one we didn’t like. He got more than 1000 pictures on our wedding day. When you have him as a photographer you don’t need a videographer or a second photographer. He does it all on his own. His staff that worked the photo booth were awesome too they had fun with my guest and made the photo booth more fun. We got our photo book from the photo booth with everyone’s pictures in it that night;) It was a night to remember and we have all these photos to look back at and remember it by;) We will definitely go to Kurt when we need photos taken ;) Thank you to Kurt and his staff for capturing our day.

Alexis Sent on 10/17/2017Kurt did an amazing job for our wedding. The big day ended up being cold and rainy, not a big surprise in October. He was able to work with us on last minute changes to the plan and was able to make the experience wonderful for us. The pictures turned out amazing, you would never know what the weather was really like. At both the venues, the church and the hall, he was able to get amazing shots that told the story of our day perfectly. I would gladly recommend him to anyone looking to have their perfect day captured of film.

Not only did he come up with ideas that I, the crazy bride, didn't think of, he captured every single moment and then some! Krista Sent on 01/14/2011I first met Kurt years ago when he photographed events for a non-profit agency I was working for. I was always impressed with his photography, and over the years I began to consider him a friend and looked forward to working with him at each event. When my fiancée finally popped the question, there was no doubt in my mind that I would ask Kurt to photograph our wedding. Kurt undoubtedly delivers a first class service from start to finish and his work achieved some outstanding shots of our special day. We never felt under pressure to perform and he made us feel more than comfortable in front of the camera, while still knowing what would make an amazing picture for our album. Kurt caught absolutely every big moment and many of the little ones that we would want to remember throughout the night. His green screen was also a big hit and allowed us to bring a touch of our home in Seattle to a Midwest wedding. We were absolutely taken back (and still are) with the pictures - they are simply stunning! Thank you Kurt for giving us something that we can cherish forever!
