I’ve used KSmithson Photography to capture all of life’s most precious moments over the years. From boudoir to engagement to wedding and now babies and family! YOU WILL NOT REGRET THIS EVER. She’s simply amazing. The pictures could not be more perfect. I mean I know I looked good on my wedding day… but she made me look so much better. I’m not a photography nerd but there’s something about the angles and lighting and pose that just makes the perfect photo. She shot my destination wedding in San Diego. This wedding was moved 3 times due to Covid. She stayed with me and supported me and personally she’s just amazing and an absolute pleasure to work with. I look forward to her sessions now for a good laugh… and then an amazing picture of said laugh :) to quote Tina Turner: she’s simply the best, better than all the rest -

Just Beyond Amazing
I sincerely don't know even where to start. These photographers are absolutely incredible. The only thing that exceeds their energy is their talent. They were a source of joy and comfort on our wedding day -- it felt like having our close friends taking our pictures, which really allowed us to be comfortable and I think that really shone through the photos. Now let's talk about the photos . . . to say we adored them would be a severe, and almost offensive, understatement. They were breathtaking and going through them together with my wife felt like reliving our wedding day. I wish I could express my gratitude and delight well enough in this review, but unfortunately I simply don't have the words to do them justice. I would stake my word (whatever that may mean to you) that these should absolutely be your photographers. We receive no perk from this review, only the comforts that we may, in some small way, (1) repay their gifts to us and (2) help any prospective bride/grooms in making what should be the easiest decision in their wedding planning process. I don't know you, reader, but would it be too far to say you're being foolish if you considered anyone else? -

Bringing Rae into the mountains of Colorado with us for our wedding was, by far, one of the best decisions we made! She did an exquisite job with photos you writing expect from a wedding (they are seriously in frames all over our house) but where Rae shines is in capturing and creating the moments you never want to forget. I look back so often on the photo Rae took of my mother-in-law watching me walk down the aisle towards her son with love and acceptance in her eyes. I laugh at the “from above” photo she took of two friends from completely different parts of my life having a dance off. And I will never forget when the downpour happened in the middle of our vows, Rae told my husband and me to just stop, breathe, and share a kiss in the rain before running for cover. She is incredible at her work and a beautiful human. Good luck not becoming friends with her after your wedding! -

Nothing short of AMAZINF
I couldn’t love my photos by KSmithson Photography any more than I do! I have had my wedding photos and Boudoir photos taken by this amazing woman and I can’t wait to schedule more with her!! -

Working with Rae was super fun. She’s sweet and hilarious. She made us feel super comfortable for our own natural poses together but also offered ideas when we weren’t sure what to do. She brought out laughter that made for the happiest photos we’ll cherish forever. She also had fun ideas to put us in environments we were comfortable with, like climbing for one of the shoots because it’s a passion of ours. Highly recommend! You’ll have fun, love the photos more than any others you have and you’ll even gain a new friend! -

Enjoyable, comfortable, affordable
KSmithson photography was absolutely amazing. I’m a little shy behind the camera but she is so good about making you feel instantly comfortable. We had so much fun and I am IN LOVE with our pictures! We’ve done various shoots with her before; couples shoot, newborn shoot, engagement shoot, and family photos. These sweet memories are printed all over our house! You will not regret hiring this company! -

From start to finish Rae was amazing to work with. She was so communicative and professional leading up to the wedding. And after the ceremony she kept all the group photos (my least favorite part) going with clear direction while somehow still making it fun and easy. But the moments she somehow captured throughout the ceremony and reception are above and beyond what we expect. She was able to get simple, fun and intimate moments without us even realizing she was there. She gave us pictures that truly capture the experience in a way that feels like it honored our wedding. She’s a talented photographer and one I would recommend 10/10, so worth it. -

I can’t stress how important it is to love your photographers as people. After using Kourtney and Trevor, I feel as if I gained two friends! They made us all feel so at ease in front of the camera and had us all laughing all day! I still get compliments on my wedding photos. AND they were some of the only photographers without a time limit -

The BEST experience!
Truly the best experience. Not only is Rae extremely talented she also has the biggest heart and makes you feel like you have known her forever. This duo is INCREDIBLE!! They did our photography for our VA Mountain wedding and absolutely surpassed any expectations my husband and I had. Our family truly was also amazed at the quality of work that they delivered and only wished they were closer so they could hire them for other events! They captured details in our pictures BEAUTIFULLY! We truly couldn’t be happier with their service. And on top of that, they’re just a rad team you wouldn’t regret having on your special day! -

Kourtney was a DREAM for my wedding. My wedding was a LONG day and she was there for the whole time. My photos are gorgeous and really show the emotion (serious and party) of the day. She also basically wrote my entire timeline since we used different locations for ceremony and reception. She has also become a wonderful friend - I recommended her to all of my friends and she actually shot 3 of their weddings. I could not recommend her enough. -

We had our wedding March of 2019 out in Scottsdale, Arizona and we could not be happier with our photographer and her husband. We had our engagement shoot in philadelphia where we live and it was perfect. We went to a few places we had picked out and working with Kourntey was like having your best friend as your photographer. She came to philly just for our shoot and to meet us, we hit it off immediately and she has a knack for making you feel super comfortable in front of the camera. Her shot placement, editing and picture ideas were all top notch. When it came to the wedding she and her husband were a pleasure to work with. They both were very good at capturing natural and candid shots in the moments leading up the wedding and during the ceremony and reception. Not only did we receive the pictures digitally while we were still on our honeymoon but, just a week or two later a beautiful album showed up at our house with all of the best shots from our big day. We highly recommend them to anyone looking for a fun, talented and affordable photography duo. Also, they live in a mobile tiny house and were able to scout out photo opportunities and locations days prior to the event so on the special day every setting was thoughtfully selected and timed perfectly with the sun and lighting. Thank you so much Kourtney and Trevor our wedding day would not have been the same without you.
