Book with Kristen

Hiring Kristen was by far one of the best decisions I made for our wedding. Not only are the photos incredible, Kristen was a huge help with the entire wedding planning process. It was clear from the moment we initially talked to her that she goes above and beyond for her couples. She goes as far as scouting out photo locations, talk to neighbors to get permission for certain spots, and get a general feel for what she’s working with the week leading up. She also helped us create a day of timeline, which was incredibly helpful to a very overwhelmed bride to be!

On the day of her and her team were so organized and on top of it. They even brought frozen waters for us, as it was approaching 100 degrees that day. I could not recommend Kristen Wynn Photography enough. The only issue is I can’t decide what photos I want to get printed out!

A Must Hire!

Kristen Wynn Photography is a must hire for any event! She worked with us during our wedding day, many reschedules (thanks 2020), and finally our reception. Kristen’s ability to capture a bride and groom’s personality through a camera lens is AMAZING! She makes being in front of the camera so comfortable and natural. Kristen Wynn Photography is amazing! We used Kristen for our wedding day as well as a mini Christmas session. She is incredibly knowledgeable, very experienced in the Pittsburgh wedding community, organized, attention to detail, and more than anything friendly and approachable. She made my husband and I feel comfortable and confident in front of the camera. Kristen and her assistant and sister Allison, were with us on our wedding day and were on top of every detail and had Plan B, C, and D all worked out when it came to locations, dealing with hot and humid weather, and were even prepared with extra earring backs, it was a joy to be with them! You can tell that through Kristen’s years of experience, she has thought of everything and has great processes and communication. And her beautiful work represents this – artistic, creative, and fun yet classic and timeless photos to be cherished forever!

Kristen Wynn Photography is the best!

As soon as we got engaged and settled on a date, we knew that one of the most important vendors for our wedding day would be our photographer. Kristen Wynn Photography was at the top of my short list of photographers for years so we were absolutely thrilled when we were able to work with her for our engagement and wedding photography! From our first phone call, it felt like we had been friends for years, chatting about everyday life, shared interests, and of course, going over detailed plans for our engagement session and wedding day. In addition to being an incredible photographer, Kristen was a great resource for us throughout the entire process as she was able to provide excellent perspective based on her years of experience. She was also really flexible with us as we dealt with multiple changes to our original plans (both for our engagement session and wedding day) due to COVID. I have to mention that Kristen and Allison were so organized on the day of our wedding and kept everything flowing smoothly, especially considering that we were managing to a tight timeframe with a large (and enthusiastic  ) bridal party! Lastly, but certainly not least, we absolutely love our engagement photos and our wedding photos! Kristen and Allison did a fantastic job capturing our personalities and providing us with images that we will cherish for the rest of our lives. Amazing photos!

We hired Kristen for our wedding in October 2020 and she did not disappoint! Having a wedding during a pandemic was as bit overwhelming to say the least, but Kristen made the process so much easier. We had to change our date AND venue about 4 weeks out and she made every change work. She is super detail oriented and did wonders setting up a ‘day of’ itinerary that helped us stay on track and still get all of the shots we wanted. She even surprised us by booking a super exclusive shoot at the Bank Tower in downtown Pittsburgh on their beautiful half spiral staircase. Her diligent planning and vast knowledge of sites around Pittsburgh resulted in the most amazing photos. We were so lucky to have found and booked her!

Can't wait to re-do i do

Kristen Wynn Photography did a phenomenal job with my sister's wedding in 2018, so they were the first vendor I booked when planning my 2020 wedding! COVID-19 forced us to cancel our large church wedding and reception on 4/25. We were devastated, but Kristen Wynn and team made the process easy. They were more than understanding in allowing us flexibility with rescheduling. At this time we haven't decided on a new wedding date or plan, but we KNOW we will be using Kristen Wynn for whatever we decide. She's also scheduled to photograph my cousin's wedding in July, which hopefully goes on without issue (fingers crossed) ... clearly showing that our family loved her work! Would recommend to anyone looking for a wedding photographer in Pittsburgh.

Amazing photographers!

Kristen Wynn Photography was the absolute best choice for wedding photographer! Kristen and Allison took hundreds of pictures during our super short ceremony/reception and came with us to Mt Washington for after-shots that are amazing! My wedding was casual, and I had no suggestions for anything (weddings aren't my jam ha!), but Kristen and Allison were able to guide me and my groom to get some pictures I will always treasure! Kristen rocks!

Kristen and her assistant, Allison were so wonderful all day. Kristen came to Armstrong Farms where we were all getting ready at about 9am. She took photos from the time she got there until she left around 10:30PM. She was fast, efficient and focused on what WE WANTED. She sat with us in advance making a strategic timeline of our day and made sure to have time to do all the photos we wanted. She also took time out of her week prior to our wedding, to check out places for us to take photos and to have the correct lenses, lighting, etc. She is so bubbly, fun and energetic and helped make our day so beautiful! We cannot wait to see all of our photos!! She also set up a "preview" AT OUR WEDDING, for our guests to take a look while at the reception. It was amazing. HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND Kristen Wynn, I sure know any time in the future we need professional photographs taken, we will be using her!!

Incredibly talented, organized, and efficient. Hire her!

I cannot imagine having hired a better photographer.
Kristen Wynn was worth every single penny and I am so ridiculously glad we got to work with her.

She is the most organized and detail-oriented person I have ever met or worked with. Within 5 minutes of initially speaking with her, she already had a day of photography timeline planned out. She had us fill out a detailed questionnaire and it made the day go by so smoothly!

Kristen was fully prepared for all situations (she came with umbrellas and rain boots!) and before our wedding day had already scoped out a full set of locations for photographs around our venue. We also had a dramatic down pour of rain and she wasn't afraid to get wet! She just threw on a rain coat and did whatever she needed to get some amazing shots for us!

She was also very personable, efficient, and easy to be around - just having her there made me feel calmer!

Most importantly, we absolutely LOVE how all of our photos turned out. We will cherish them for a lifetime and are so grateful to Kristen for that.

Kristen Wynn Photography was EXACTLY what we were looking for to capture our special moments. There are not enough wonderful things that can be said about Kristen and her assistant Allison. They are two of the most genuine, kindhearted ladies I’ve ever met. We were beyond blessed to have them be a part of our very special day. We worked with them for our engagement photos, which I highly suggest. It helped make us more at ease on the wedding day because we went into the day already knowing the two of them, and didn’t have to worry about what our experience would be. I cannot say enough about the GREAT experience we had with Kristen Wynn Photography. She was very helpful and responsive leading up to the day and came up with a timeline to keep everyone on the same page from when we should get ready to when we'd walk into the reception to ensure we had enough time to travel and get the shots we wanted. The day of, Kristen and Allison were so kind and guided our large group so well...no one felt lost on where to be or what to do. And the pictures we received (quickly) were BEAUTIFUL. They all look so natural and edited perfectly. We were able to get a ton of different kinds of shots and picture locations thanks to their timeliness and creativity. They really made an effort to give us the best pictures possible and to make our day run as smoothly as possible. This was hands down the best vendor and we will recommend to everyone!

Kristen did an amazing job at our wedding this past November. Because her work speaks for itself (her photos are hands down amazing), I’m going to rave about the overall experience of working with her.

From our very first phone consultation, Kristen was incredibly helpful: she offers her expertise and suggestions for a smooth timeline, had awesomely creative ideas, and basically made me feel much more relaxed going into this whole wedding planning thing knowing she knew what was going on.

Moving past the initial consultation, Kristen was always very communicative (something I learned to REALLY appreciate from the few vendors who would get back to my questions or concerns in a reasonable manner. I would consider Kristen to be the fastest and most complete responder of all of the vendors I dealt with. I really appreciated this, and you will to. A wedding is hard enough to plan without having to follow up every few days to get a complete answer about a simple question.

In the weeks leading up to the wedding, Kristen made sure I had a timeline that we were both happy with, knowing that any pictures I knew I wanted would definitely be captured. She didn’t forget any detail, even factoring in travel time between photo locations, ceremony, and reception. I was totally at ease going into my wedding day knowing she had everything completely under control!

Working in person with Kristen is awesome! She is punctual, friendly, energetic, and organized! Even when my hair appointment took twice as long as it should have, she kept everything moving. She shuffled around our timeline to make the most of what was available, especially when my hair appointment ran late!
During the pictures, she had the most creative ways to keep our easily distracted ring bearers attention! After we were done with the big group pictures, she had the most creative and fun poses and locations for each photo! She captured the light and our whole event looked amazing! Highly recommend!!!

Worry free guarantee! Kristen basically put my wedding day timeline together in 5 minutes. She was always clear and concise. She is prompt, timely, supportive and kind. My bridesmaids and myself are not models. She directed us on how to stand, where to stand and even in little things like how to lean, where to put your hands, where to look, everything. She helps you out so much. She also really plans out the entire day for herself so she can get requested pictures in. Family portraits can consume a lot of time but she was very organized with who needed to be where and when. I had very little "must have" poses so she made sure to help out and give me, my girls, my husband and his guys poses. We had no clue but she had answers for everything. I had several guests compliment her the day of wedding. She had put her iPad out on one of our tables for people to look at and she already put pictures from the wedding on it! Our guests (and me) were very impressed. Kristen is 100% amazing. You cannot go wrong if you choose to book with her.

Kristen Wynn is an amazing photographer!! Her and her assistant Allison were more than just taking pictures, they kept us on track with time, they transferred things to the groom and groomsmen that I had forgotten to give them, they had a sewing kit ready to help me sew a piece of my dress (ended up not needing to, but they were so prepared!) and they had umbrellas on hand in case it started raining. She found amazing locations to take pictures in my neighborhood, and the pictures turned out amazing she really captured the Fall feel of it! She is very personable, will take pictures of everything you want her to, and really just gives you what you want. She is really great at finding good scenes for photos! I highly suggest ordering you're favorite photos from Kristen, as her photos are amazing quality, and I am very happy with all of the ones I ordered from her.

There are not enough words to describe how amazing kristen was for my wedding and engagement session. I found her through my hair stylists website (Elisha Evans). After the first consultation i knew she was perfect for us. My husband hates getting his picture taken so we took advantage of the engagement session offered to get experience, he did great and Kristen does an awesome job making you look natural. WE had so much fun. Also, she is super organized, for the wedding she will type up a timeline down to the last minute of the night and sticks to it like glue. Everything went so smoothly and i got so many compliments on her the entire night. Her photos are beautiful and I couldnt ask for a better photographer to capture the most important day of my life!

Is it possible to give 10 stars?

We were beyond satisfied with the service, professionalism and quite frankly the fun we had with Kristen. Kristen is absolutely wonderful in so many ways. Kristen is very organized, charismatic, enthusiastic, positive, proactive and just down right EXCELLENT! Her talent is evident in every photo she takes. The one thing that will stay with you forever after the flowers die, the cake is gone, the food is eaten, the dress is worn.............. is your photos. "A memory is only as good as the photographs" and I am so happy we had Kristen to capture ours.

I cannot speak highly enough of Kristen Wynn Photography. It was such a joy to work with her from start to the finishing touches. From the night we first met with Kristen, you knew she was organized, creative and on top of everything you needed to know leading up to the big day. She helped us think through everything from a rain plan right down to the wedding day timeline, which was a HUGE help. Kristen is amazing! From the first moment I talked to her 1.5 yrs before my wedding I could tell she was organized and experienced. The week before my wedding she helped pull everything together and made an EXTENSIVE timeline that honestly made me feel so much better about the wedding day. Kristen is sweet and super talented! Kristen is an awesome photographer to work with. Not only are her prices competitive, but the overall quality and aesthetics of her work are wonderful. She spends time getting to know the couples she is working with and has an easy-going attitude and a fun personality. She's also very detail-oriented, which is helpful in planning a wedding day timeline as well as making sure she fits in all of the couple's requested shots. Despite her extremely organized nature, she isn't rigid at all -- she's flexible and open to different ideas and suggestions. Kristen is one of the most beautiful, kind, and talented individuals that I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. I'll never forget one of our first conversations that we had about what she does for a living and how much she truly enjoys it. I was intrigued and fell in love with her work, before I even got engaged. I knew that one day we would ask Kristen to fulfill the extremely important job of photographing our wedding. When I got engaged, I was so excited, and I couldn't WAIT to tell Kristen. She was very excited too, and shortly after, we planned our engagement photo session. Our engagement photos are everything I could have dreamed of and more. They were absolutely stunning, and there was no question that she was the perfect fit for our wedding. Despite Kristen relocating to PA, we were overjoyed to find out that she would still be willing to photograph weddings in our area of FL. I was very stressed during our planning process. Stressed about rain, things going wrong, etc. I used Kristen's "photography timeline/worksheets" to help us along with other vendors, to figure out what time of day everything should happen, when the best light for photos is, etc. Kristen is extremely professional, detail oriented, hard working, and very quick to respond to emails. Any photography detail that a normal person wouldn't think of has been thought of and planned for by Kristen, and I felt extremely confident that our photos would be perfect. I cannot stress enough how helpful it was to plan accordingly, based on photography, and know exactly who had to be ready at what time, etc. It was very organized. She even brought extra umbrellas, JUST in case it rained. She really is the most thoughtful person. She puts her whole heart into her work, and it shows. She is EXTREMELY talented and has a passion for photography unlike I've ever seen. Our photos are absolutely wonderful, and I am so thankful for her and her assistant. My best wedding vendor, hands down. Thank you, Kristen!

I can't even begin to say how much I love Kristen and her work! I fell in love with so many of her images, and when I got engaged, I knew I just HAD to have her shoot our Pittsburgh wedding. I would consider myself a very organized and put-together person, so working with Kristen was effortless, as she possesses many similar qualities. She was extremely thorough and detail-oriented, helping to make sure that the day ran smoothly and according to schedule. Not only was she professional, but personal and thoughtful as well. She's probably one of the sweetest, kindest people I've ever met. And then there are her photos - the moments and images she captures are absolutely stunning! Kristen was fabulous. She took beautiful pictures and didn't make you feel like a photographer was in your face all day. She spent all day and night with us to make sure she captured every little detail. She knew there were certain things I was uncomfortable about and was sure to be aware of that the whole time shooting. When I look at the pictures I feel like I am there. Her pricing was very good in comparison to other photographers we looked at. We were looking for a contemporary photographer with a classic twist and KWP was definitely that.

I wish there was a number greater than 5.0. Kristen is amazing. She's not only a photographer, but also a person who keeps you on schedule and calm when you need it most. She always worked around my schedule to meet with me, never ended the meetings because she had to be someplace else, and I actually feel that she cared about us through the process.

My family and friends absolutely loved her pictures and I can't stop looking at them. It's only been a month since my wedding and I already have all of my pictures in hand and an album being designed. It was great to get back from my honeymoon and already be able to see some pictures of the day!

I can't say enough about Kristen. At first I thought it was a little funny that she posted "welcome to the KWP family" when new people booked her, but now I completely understand. Thank you for capturing our day, Kristen!

While looking back at my wedding I can’t believe I can say that it was pretty stress free. I owe a lot of that to Kristen. I am not a planner but Kristen got me in line and organized the prefect itinerary for us. It seemed to go very smooth, even with 5 little kids running around on a hot, sweaty day. However, we all survived and our photos arrived right on schedule and I still enjoy them everyday. Furthermore, I was a bridesmaid in a wedding that Kristen photographed as well. There ended up being a time constraint on taking pictures due to traffic. It seemed that Kristen didn’t need long to capture the beautiful moments because the few pictures that were taken turned out flawless. I also have to admit that I am addicted to Kristen's website and blog, I can't get even. The quality of her work amazes me every day. Love you Kristen!

I just want to say that this was our first photography session (professional) and I must say Kristen made it so easy to just be ourselves. Kristen was an incredible photographer to work with. We not only hired her for our wedding, but our Engagement session, too. She meets any needs of the couples she works with, such as style of the shots (modern, traditional, funny), locations, etc. Her keen sense for photography shines through any picture she snaps. She works personally with you and customizes a timeline for your schedule the day of the wedding. Even when things fell behind during our hair/makeup, Kristen immediately moved things around on our timeline to make sure we got all of the pictures we needed! We had a large bridal party, so she did a great job capturing shots of some of the group, as well as large shots. She wasn't intrusive at all during any part of our big day, and wouldn't force us to do anything we weren't comfortable doing or didn't want to do. She met our wishes with great respect. Kristen was extremely easy to work with. She was organized and effectively communicated our timeline, etc. from the very beginning. Our wedding was a disaster in that it was outdoors during a tropical storm and everything that could possibly go wrong, went wrong. Okay so to say that I LOVE Kristen is an understatement. I booked Kristen a year out from my date. I found her while searching for an affordable photographer, as I was not willing to pay 3K for pictures. After seeing her style we were torn between Kristen and a photog double her price who had more experience. But once we talked to her we loved her. She seemed so sweet, open and honest. She was also very willing to answer any questions I had and I had TONS of questions. A month before my wedding she experienced an unexpected emergency yet she remained professional and assured me she would give me quality photos on my wedding day. We absolutely loved Kristen. I cannot say enough good things about her. She was completely on the ball leading up to the wedding and communicated clearly and efficiently and was very responsive to emails etc. The day of, she was my savior. I was running about an hour behind, so she ran around the hotel collecting my dress and wedding accessories (that were scattered b/w several hotel rooms) for photographs. She kept everything running very smoothly and was great at directing family and friends in and out of shots so that no one was standing around waiting. Her personality and attitude are great...very cheerful and upbeat the entire day/night. The pictures are amazing and we love them. And she posted a blog and slideshow within 2 weeks of the wedding. It only took about 3 weeks before we received all 800+ pictures on CD. The best part is that she did more than the standard retouching on a lot of our photos (and we didnt even have to ask or pay), so my complexion looks awesome and I have no crows feet around my eyes!!! And the value of the package is great because we have the copyright permissions to print any and all of the pics!

Kristen was my saving grace during my wedding! Some last minute change of plans caused for me to book my photographer really late, but thank goodness Kristen was available. She was so organized and had checklists and time lines for me. She was so sweet and constantly making sure I had every shot I could think that I wanted. We had a very tight time line, but she got everything that mattered and more. Her prices are amazing as well. We got over 1100 pictures from her! I always got a response right away from her if I emailed her with questions. I would definitely recommend her to anyone, and plan on keeping in touch. So sweet!

Kristen Wynn Photography is more than an excellent choice for your wedding photography! Kristen is just fantastic!!! I agree with others that have commented on her - there are not enough stars to give to Kristen! From the moment I started speaking with Kristen, I could tell she was going to be a joy to work with. She was always so professional, detail oriented, personable and quick to respond. My husband and I are from the Pittsburgh area and had Kristen come up for both our engagement session and our wedding. She lives in the Florida area, so you will just need to take a look at her travel requirements if you are not in that area. If you are curious to take a look at our photos, we are the winery/vineyard session on her blog. She was so creative with everything that she did with us - it was a hot and humid day and she was so willing to try and do anything to get great shots! We chose our engagement session idea as something we enjoy to do together, and that it to learn and enjoy wine. Kristen was more than up for the idea and was coming up with creative ideas on her own. She even took the time to put together additional props to coordinate our idea! The photos turned out great, she did a suin glare shot, shadow shot, more traditional posed (the ones that parents and grandparents always love, and the more trendy creative ones that are becoming so popular today). Up until our wedding I had been in contact with Kristen for over a year. Many details had been discussed throughout, but she was just so incredibly helpful when it got close to the wedding. We went through and entire outline of the day, discussed all "must have" shots, and she gave me tips to remember for the big day. This was an enormous help as I was able to give the wedding party and close family members information on what to expect, and when they would need to be ready for photos so we could maximize that time and not have to go searching for anyone. Kristen was with us the entire day of our wedding and she gave 110% the entire time. We recently got married in November and in Pittsburgh the sun sets so early this time of year, shortly after 5pm. We got married at 3, so this allotted us about an hour to take the photos, as I had opted to be more traditional and have my groom wait to see me as I first walked down the isle, even though the "first-look" is really suggested by Kristen and others, to maximize the opportunity of shots with the bride and groom. Kristen was able to work with us and make sure we were completely on time for our photos and that we could get in every desired photo. During the day of the wedding, Kristen again was more than a joy to work with. We had so many guests compliment us on how professional and courteous she was. Later on in our reception, she put up a slide show on her laptop of some wedding photos to give us and our guests a sneak peak of the photos - again so many guests loved that she did this, it was just such a nice touch. I knew the time frame that Kristen had allotted for our wedding photos and when the time came close for Kristen to post her blog on our wedding, I awaited it more than anything. Finally, the day came and she brought me to tears with her work. I couldn't have been more blown away by the photos. They truly told a story of our wedding and I felt like I was back at the day. The photos were breathtaking, just stunning. You always wonder exactly what your wedding photos will look like and what type of shots there will be. With Kristen it was creative and modern, yet so timeless and elegant, they were just perfect. She took the time prior to our wedding to think up specific poses to coordinate with details I had previously explained to her. Just as those photos posted on her blog and her Photography facebook page, I had numerous brides to be and girls hoping to become brides to be contact me wanting information about Kristen for their special day to come. Even the blog that she wrote about us was beyond touching. In addition, she even puts together a slide show with additional wedding photos to enjoy! Just this past week we received our disk will our photos and we couldn't be more happy!! There were honestly sooo many pictures, but it is amazing because they are all fantastic. Brides and grooms to be, definitely take the time to look at Kristen's work, she does a phenomenal job and you would be pleased with your decision to choose Kristen as your wedding photographer. Wedding photography was important to us, as we wanted to have beautiful memories of our special day. Kristen not only fulfilled our expectations, but exceeded them. Kristin is such an amazing photographer to work with. My husband and I booked her for October 2011 wedding. She was so helpful throughout the planning process. Since I don't get married everyday, I wasn't sure what to do, and had a lot of questions. She answered any inquiry I had, and made me feel completely at ease. Kristin came ready to work on my wedding day! We had little time to get in all the shots we wanted, but she made it happen. She got such great shots of the bridal party getting ready, the ceremony, location, family, and every other detail of my big day. She even got soaked by a wave on the beach AND put her sweater down so I wouldn't ruin my dress in the sand. Not many photographers will go to that extent to make sure their customer has amazing pictures. She was so friendly, and since the wedding, we've gotten NUMEROUS compliments on the photography. We really do appreciate all that she did for us and would recommend her to anyone who is looking for a great photographer for their special occasion. I cannot express enough my gratitude for Kristen's hard work for my wedding. It was a cold and rainy day from beginning to end but Kristen had a back up plan and pre-meditated locations for pictures so that we had a smooth transition through the day and we ended up with enough variety in our photos. Kristen was very professional and helpful the entire day. She has experiences with so many different weddings and has a cure for any "hiccup" that you may encounter during the day. She saved me from panicking twice within the first hour of us girls getting ready. Kristen is cutting edge in her vision and her unique shots are something that I was primarily looking for when searching for the perfect photographer for my day. Kristen's style is versatile and she is very flexible with all of the other vendors to make sure each memory is captured. Besides just the wedding day, Kristen helped with any and all questions I had during the planning and the timeline for the day. I would have been totally lost on a "timeline" for the day without Kristen explaining to me how long things typically take. I never felt rushed or frazzled during my wedding and I give a lot of credit to Kristen for helping with that. Kristen was absolutely wonderful!!! My husband and I met her at our friends wedding last October and she was so sweet. I started checking out her website after that point weekly because I knew we'd be looking for a photographer for our upcoming wedding once we'd picked a date. I was so relieved when she said she was still available when we booked her in January! Her photographs are absolutely amazing and if you look at the progession on her blog and website they really only get better with time. She is such a sweetheart and an amazingly hard worker. She met me and my (8!) bridesmaids at the salon down the street from our hotel at 9am and didn't stop working til our wedding ended nearly 13 hours later. She really listened to what my fiance and I said we wanted and provided us with over 1200 photographs. She even called the church for us ahead of time to make sure that she would be photographing within their requirements. She found really good spots to take photos of us at the hotel we were staying at and was even nice enough to ride with us and our entire wedding party
(of 16 people) in the limo on the way to and from the ceremony so she could photograph it. There really aren't enough words to say how pleased my husband and I (and everyone else at our wedding) are with the services Kristen provided. I am so thankful that we met her at the wedding almost a year ago. If you are considering hiring her, you should definitely do it. ;)

Kristen was absolutely the perfect photographer for our wedding day! As soon as I had the first phone call with her, I knew she was a great match. She came bright and early to start the day with us and took time to get to know me and the girls during our getting ready time. She worked non stop all day long (not even joking, I did not see the girl sit once). She was completely professional and everyone who was at the wedding commented on it. My husband and I are not huge photo people (as in liking to do it) but she made us feel comfortable and our pictures turned out great! She was flexible and made sure to get every single shot that I requested (plus a lot of others that were just great). We couldn't have asked for a better photographer. She was great during our wedding day and our pictures turned out beautiful! I can't even count the number of people who were simply impressed by the sneak peaks and slide show that she put on her blog! Our pictures also arrived right when she said they would! Kristen is an excellent photographer with excellent and creative ideas. She is very open to her customers' thoughts and wants, which makes it obvious that her main goal is to make your photos everything you have dreamed of! Kristen was an absolute delight. We came from out of the country to have a destination wedding in Florida. People asked if we were nervous about arranging our vendors without meeting them first. Kristen called us a few times before the wedding to map out the photographs we wanted, she suggested some we had forgotten and put together a wedding day timeline for photographs. We did not have a day-of coordinator and so essentially, Kristen was there to guide us through what to expect. Our families and friends commented about how professional she was, and how wonderful her personality was: she blended right in with the other guests, and still guided the portraits/photographs and guests with poise and respect. She was friendly and calm throughout the entire day and worked tirelessly in the heat. Kristen, you alleviated much of the stress I had when you first walked through the door of the bridal suite and I can't thank you enough for your hard (and great!) work on our wedding day. I still don't know when you found the time to put together the slideshow we asked for of pictures from before the reception. Thank you again! There are not enough stars to show how great Kristen was. From the very beginning, she was very responsive to my phone calls and emails and was able to answer all of my questions. She went as far as to create a wedding day timeline, which was very helpful, because I had no idea where to begin. Kristen arrived 30 minutes prior to her scheduled arrival, which was fanastic! She was very sweet and creative with her photos. During the reception, she pulled 20 unedited images and set up a slideshow on a laptop for the guests to enjoy. A week after the wedding, she had a blog and slideshow posted, which were absolutely beautiful. Our family and friends cannot stop talking about how nice Kristen was and how beautiful the pictures are. We cannot wait to see the remaining pictures. Kristen is an awesome person. First of all, she is the single most organized person I have ever met in my life. She is so detail oriented! Secondly, she is one of the nicest and sweetest people you will ever meet and she really cares about her work. Finally, her photography= amazing! She is really talented and the photos from my engagement session and wedding turned out perfect. She doesn't miss a thing, the pictures are phenomenal and she really captures special moments. She photographs life as it happens, not just fake, posed moments (although she does make sure to get plenty of posed formal shots as well). As an out of town bride, I found Kristen over the internet. After talking to her on the phone and looking at her portfolio online, we immediately booked her for our wedding in June and could not have been happier! Kristen was absolutely professional, wonderful to work with and the pictures were amazing. In fact, they were so good that the Radisson (our venue) puts them on display now in order to advertise. Of all the decisions we made regarding my daughter's wedding booking Kristen Wynn was by far the best! Even though the bride was tough to reach Kristen managed to work with her and me to get all the questions answered, schedule set and last minute updates done. Ske and her assistant were very professional, quick and responsive. I know I saw them often yet their presence was unobtrusive. The bride and groom are photography buffs and Kristen respected their ideas and wishes 100%. I would highly recommend Kristen as I had a great experience with her photographing my wedding. The communication before the wedding was great and she even kept me on my toes with all of the planning. She helped to set up a good timeline of events for us. After the wedding, it only took about 3 weeks to get our pictures which is really fast according to other brides that it took months with different photographers. I absolutely love the pictures and definitely feel like I made a great choice in photographers. Many people have commentend on how great my photos turned out. Super affordable too, that was my favorite part. So many wedding photographers are outrageously priced. So happy that I found Kristen, it worked out perfectly.

Kristen is amazing and absolutely professional!!

Finding the perfect wedding photographer is probably the most difficult task while planning a wedding. My husband and i had a tiny destination wedding with only two guests and it was extremely important for us to get lots of beautiful and high-quality photos to share with our family and friends back home. I spent two months searching the internet almost daily, comparing blogs, portfolios and reviews but couldn’t find a good and affordable photographer. I gave up and agreed to book the one suggested by our officiant, but i wasn’t impressed by his work at all ( very amateurish, almost lousy) and had to start searching again.
Then Kristen answered to my classified ad on a wedding website and from the moment i entered her website i knew i wanted her to be our wedding photographer! I immediately fell in love with her photos and style, and to my surprise her price was within our small budget.

The communication with Kristen was great, from the first mail until after the wedding. She was always very fast in responding and she answered all my questions patiently and very detailed.
On our wedding day Kristen arrived ahead of time and started shooting immediately as well as exploring our “getting ready”-hotel to find the perfect spots for our first look and other photos. Kristen was very well prepared, she had worked out a detailed timelime as well her own shot list and she even brought a big bag full of props.
I had two or three ideas for a photo and she had no problem turning my vision into a perfect result. Kristen spent so much time with us even though our wedding was so small; from getting ready in the morning until almost sundown, she was always busy and full of great ideas.
We got our photos within less than three weeks and we love them all!! We are so happy with the high amount and quality, they are gorgeous and absolutely everything we imagined, and we already got some wonderful comments from our family and friends.

We didn’t want super-ultra-artsy pictures without any emotion, we wanted photos that reflect our personalities and give the viewer the impression to be there in the exact same moment when the photo was taken. And that’s exactly what we got: a natural style, not too fancy but modern and vibrant. Simply perfect!

Kristen is a very talented photographer and her whole attitude is highly professional. Contacting vendors can be a nightmare, but not with Kristen. She knows exactly how to create and maintain a perfect relationship with her clients without making them feel like they are just a client.
I must admit i had some depressive phases while planning the wedding, i questioned every decision and wished i could do it all in a completely different way. But i never had a bad feeling about Kristen, not even for a second. I always knew she is the right choice and i was absolutely right. She is such a nice person and we enjoyed talking to her and having her at our wedding.
Kristen was our best vendor and we never felt like having a stranger at our wedding, but like being surrounded by a dear friend.

Kristen Wynn (and assistant!) were FANTASTIC. She was my favorite vendor and I am so glad we chose her for our wedding 11/5/10. Very easy to reach before (and after) the wedding. I only emailed her but received prompt responses every time. They were professional and yet fun and friendly at the same time. The picture quality was amazing and I love just about all of my over 600 photos. The value for cost... I can't say enough good things about this! We struggled in finding a photographer we could afford that met all the requirements we wanted. Many wedding photographers charge FAR more than her and their picture quality (in my opinion) is not as amazing.

There was a medical emergency at my wedding that involved calling 911, and having an ambulance arrive to the wedding, and threw off my timeline/order of events. They stayed a bit late to catch a few photos of the last dance and our exit without us even having to ask.

They arrived early (I think at least around 30 minutes early) and started setting up and taking photos right away. During our reception, she set up a laptop with some pictures that were taken before, during, and after the ceremony. I was not expecting this and it was such a great added touch! In fact, at a friend's bridal shower yesterday, she even mentioned how much she loved that my photographer did that!

Kristen Wynn Photography is amazing. A+++. We loved them-- even my husband who hates having photos taken loved them! She is now doing some newborn portraiture and as we are now expecting, we will be contacting her for newborn portraits and also possible maternity photos if we decide to do them.

Kristen was the BEST vendor to work with for my October 2010 wedding. She was so professional and helpful that it just made the day go extreamly smooth. She made sure to get all of the details of what we wanted well in advance, and on the day she was certain to get all of our must have shots in. We had a large bridal party and she had no problem working with everyone and getting the little ones under the age of 5 to cooperate with what we needed them to do. She even had the ring bearers growl for the camera when they got sick of smiling, and they were some of the best pictures of the day. All of my guests were impressed with her and how long she stayed at the reception, she didn't leave until the lights came on and everyone else had started to leave. I have recieved so many complements on the picutres, the hardest part was deciding which ones to put in the album. She's a perfect choice for any wedding.

Kristen is fabulous!! My wedding was 12-11-10 on the beach. I was late meeting her to start the day, and she was very quick to calm the situation and adjust the schedule to accomodate. She was very aware of the details, always making sure my veil or hair was jut right (which was difficult on the cold windy day). My friends and family were amazed at her effort throughout the entire day, and we received MANY great shots to relive the wonderful day! She is highly recommended for creativity! We pretty much just told her she could do what she wanted with the shots, and we couldn't be more pleased with the results! She is an amazing artist with her photography!

I booked Kristen Wynn when she just started her business. She gave us an AMAZING rate and she worked our whole wedding, gave us the rights to all of our photos, retouched our photos and gave us 2 copies of the CD. She was professional, on time, and went above and beyond on my wedding day-- even lacing up my dress when time was running out and everybody was scrambling around! Her photos looked beautiful and they are comparable or better than many of my friends' wedding photos-- except they paid much more for theirs and didn't own the rights. Her contract was straight-forward and I we received everything we paid for. I would absolutely recommend Kristen Wynn for wedding photography!

Kristen is an amazing photographer. After checking out her site, I knew that we would hit it off since she had the same eye for details as I do! From the beginning, she stayed in constant contact and responded quickly to all of my emails. I had an enormous shot list and was concerned about it being overwhelming, but she handled it all in stride. She was professional, genuine and soooo nice about everything! The day of the wedding, she showed up bright eyed and bushy tailed and got right down to work. She did her best accommodating my shot list in the little time that we had. She was never intrusive and she was a total photo ninja. I never once noticed her or her camera during the ceremony or reception when she was snapping candids. She worked really well with the rest of my vendors and my DOC commented to me how awesome Kristen was!
After the wedding, she put teasers up on her site within a week and we had our finished CD within 2 weeks. Talk about speedy service! I love it! She is so flexible and will help you out with any additional retouching or requests on effects you have.
Overall, you will not be disappointed with Kristen! She is an amazing photographer especially if you are a budget bride like I was, as she is quite affordable compared to others out there. I've gotten so many compliments on our wedding photos on how artistic they are and how detailed the shots were. We can't thank you enough for everything you've done. We couldn't be happier with our photos! :)

Kristen Wynn Photography was everything that I could have hoped for in a wedding photographer. She was very professional the entire day and yet she was always approachable and flexible. She captured all of the special moments without ever being intrusive with her camera. If I was to do it all over, I would absolutely hire Kristen Wynn Photography again. Kristen was absolutely AMAZING!

She has been fantastic with communication from DAY 1!!! My photo's surpassed my expectations in every way. I am a HUGE KWP fan now and think I always will be!

Kristen is warm and bubbly and SO VERY EASY to work with. She was so
friendly, I felt like I had known her all my life. She showed up early,
brought an assistant (her hubby, since her normal assistant is 8 mo
preggo!) even though she didn't charge me for an assistant... They got
started even though I was late...

She was amazingly affordable (all rights to my 900+ pictures on a disk and she was there ALL day!) and she has an amazing payment policy which helps struggling brides like me… You pay half down to secure your date, and the balance 2 weeks later to receive your pictures! How awesome is that!!!

Every time I thought, “I want to take a picture of me and this person…” like magic, there she was! I never had to look for her or ask her to take anything! My photo's are all awesome!

Kristen Wynn Photography did an awesome job on our wedding picts. She helped tremendously with planning the different shots we would want to capture. She was timely in responding to questions and kept in close touch leading up to the big day. Kristen met me super early to be able to capture the whole day on film and was the last to leave afterwards. She was well equipped, very professional, and creative. She put in way more time than what she charged for, without counting the time she spent editting and preparing our photos. Although she had our picture to us in just 2 weeks she still took the time to post teasers on Facebook for us. I can't wait to work with her again for family photos.

In any town or city, there are dozens of photographers to choose from. The person you choose is responsible for capturing the memories of your special day, so the decision shouldn't be taken lightly. The two most important factors we think of when researching photographers are Quality of Work and Good Value. I am confident that you will not find an affordable photographer with the amount of creative vision, talent, passion, and enthusiasm that Kristen Wynn offers her clients.

We chose Kristen Wynn for our engagement photos in the winter of 2010. I had been in professional photo shoots before-- they were never very enjoyable experiences; it was just something you did to get some pictures to hang on the wall. I expected to spend a few hours standing in cliched poses, having my hands repositioned and my head titled, with a background switch every once in a while to add some variety. My fiance and I were pleasantly surprised. From the minute we met Kristen, her bubbly and congenial personality got us excited for the photo shoot. Kristen gave us a list of locations she had thought of that would make beautiful pictures-- everything from entrances to historical buildings to a downtown hotel to a giant bridge in the middle of the city. Once we arrived at each place, Kristen had fun, cute and unique poses she wanted us to try. She never made us feel awkward, even when we were kissing, bending backwards on a staircase, or posing in an elevator. Throughout the shoot, she would be shouting, "This one looks great! You guys look so cute! Oh, I love this one!" I felt a little bit like a rockstar, and I could see my fiance's head getting bigger :)

Kristen never made us feel like she was in a hurry to end the session. She wouldn't have quit until she was sure she had snapped a picture of us in every position and every location she could think of (unless of course we wanted her to stop- but we didn't!) What we thought was going to be a boring day of posing ended up being a day full of smiles, giggling and watching artwork be created.

Of course, I chose no other than Kristen Wynn to photograph my wedding 6 months later. I knew I could count on her to document one of the most important days of our life. Kristen never missed a photo-op, and she snapped priceless pictures that far exceeded my expectations (which were already quite high). She gave us a mixture of the traditional photos that everyone wants to have of their wedding-- the vows, the cake cutting, the first dance-- along with a lot of really special candid shots of our son, our crazy friends, my emotional family members, and some intimate moments with my husband. I honestly can't stop looking at them (and showing others!)

I imagine that almost anyone could figure out how lenses and lighting work, and snap a few good pictures. But having the vision of what makes an incredible picture is something that only a true artist has, and Kristen Wynn took the most interesting, unique, beautiful and fun pictures of me and my family that I have ever seen. You don't want to look back in 20 years on your special event and have a hundred pictures of people posing in front of a tree. Kristen will give you photos that you will truly enjoy looking at and sharing throughout the years, whether it's you and your husband kissing on a bridge, or your 3-year-old son playing in a patch of wildflowers.

I will trust Kristen with every special event I have in the future, and I give her my highest recommendation. You won't be dissappointed. Kristen, until next time, a thousand thank-you's :)

Kristen photographed our small beach side wedding on July 3rd. She checked out the area before our wedding, had creative ideas for poses, and got every shot we asked her for. When she realized we missed out on an important shoot she came back to our location to make sure to get it. We love our pictures and can not say enough about how great it was to work with Kristen!
