Amazing wedding photographer!

Would highly recommend Kristen Taylor & Co, and especially our photographer Stephanie to anyone! Planning a wedding in Michigan from another state was stressful but working with Kristen for all the planning and Stephanie for the engagement session and our wedding day definitely put us at ease! Kristen was extremely responsive via email, had very helpful suggestions or tips when planning the day of timeline, photo locations and photo combinations, and made sure all of our needs were met. Stephanie was wonderful! She is so down to earth and easy to get along with that we clicked instantly! I loved that she took mine and my husband's input and style into consideration for things like the first look and specific photo poses/requests. Cannot say enough good things about Stephanie and Kristen Taylor & Co and would highly recommend them to anyone planning a wedding in Metro Detroit!

They were amazing!

Wow! My husband and I hired Kristen Taylor and Co for our wedding and all I can say is AMAZING! Planning a wedding a few states away can make a bride have increased stressed. Stephanie (our photographer) was honestly the best and most patient person ever dealing with numerous emails, constantly switching plans and much more. Not only were they patient and accommodating but their photos are AMAZING. We just got our photos and the amount of comments we have already gotten on the photos is astronomical. These photos are timeless and tasteful in every aspect. Stephanie and her team were diligent to ensure we had all the photos taken that we wanted to so we didn’t miss a moment. I cannot rave enough about them.

Highly recommend!

We worked with Courtney from Kristen Taylor & Co, and absolutely loved her. We had her do both our engagement and wedding pictures and both turned out perfect. Courtney is professional, kind and has a creative eye for where to take pictures. I was also happy with the organization of the company. I had a phone meeting with Kristen before the wedding and she helped me put together a timeline for the wedding, which was very helpful.

Phenomenal

Kristen Taylor was absolutely phenomenal. From every part of the wedding planning process she was always connected with us. She helped us put together our day of schedule and made sure we didn’t miss a single detail. Our pictures were absolutely stunning and so many of our guests complimented how fantastic our photographer was. Put me at ease!

I cannot say enough good things about Kristin G, second shooter Cathy, and assistant Lindsay! We had our engagement shoot with Kristin about a year before our wedding, and right away my now-husband and I were at ease. We were both worried about being comfortable in front of the camera, and Kristin put us at ease!

I felt good about the road map we had for the wedding day, and the KT&CO team was very communicative.

On the day of the wedding, Kristin and her team were speedy but thorough, and we have the most wonderful photos to commemorate our day! We had some unexpected rain on the big day, but Kristin and her team pushed through and shot through the rain for me!!

Highly recommend

Picking your photographer is a very important decision for your wedding/event and you can trust Kristen Taylor and Co. They exceeded my expectations with their professionalism, photographers, and ultimately, photos. Before my event I really felt comfortable with Kristen and her team. I was able to reach out at any time and my photographer, Kristen G, and I were able to talk before our photo sessions. Kristen T also works hard to tie your entire day together to make sure it all goes seamlessly, which to me went above and beyond the call of duty. A word about my photographer, Kristen G. She is fantastic and very talented. She and her team (back up photographer Cathy) were able to capture so many wonderful moments beautifully. I'm pretty stubborn and Kristen G had a great balance of listening to my feedback while also gently nudging me to step out of my comfort zone (which always paid off). She was very personable and professional and my wedding guests have only had positive things to say about her and her team. She was also very flexible because my wedding was not very traditional. She adapted and went with the flow perfectly. I very much highly recommend choosing Kristen Taylor and co for your event photography.

Amazing and Professional!

We had an absolutely amazing experience with Stephanie and her team from Kristen Taylor Photography! Stephanie shot our engagement photos as well as our wedding and made us feel completely comfortable throughout the entire process. Her and her team captured so many amazing shots during our wedding and did it all so discretely which we appreciated since it didn't detract from our ceremony. Now were stuck with the incredibly difficult task of choosing what pictures we want to print for our home. It's so hard to choose since they all turned out so beautifully! Beautiful pictures!

We just got the pictures back for our wedding and they are AMAZING! We really liked the way Kristin Taylor & Co worked with us from the initial meeting until receiving the photos. This company is very organized and thorough and we hardly knew the two photographers and assistant were there during the ceremony and reception. Kristin G. is Amazing!

Kristin G. shot our engagement & wedding photos. We received our photos from our October wedding last week & we could not be HAPPIER with them. We had permanent smiles on our faces as we flipped through the crazy amount of photos we have to choose from (it's going to be SO hard to choose!). Kristin & team captured our day PERFECTLY. From the shots they got of us getting ready with our bridal party, our ceremony & reception photos to the bridal party shots around Detroit, she captured the happiness of the day in every photo. And not only is she an incredibly talented photographer, but she is just as sweet & patient. We loved getting to know Kristin (and team!) and spending our big day with her. Wonderful photography team!

Beyond expectations!

Working with Kristen Taylor & Co. was the best decision! Kristin G was my photographer and the first time I met her we clicked. She was so down to earth and passionate about photography. Outstanding experience

Kristen Taylor & Co are simply the best in the wedding photography business in metro-Detroit area. Our engagement and wedding photos were simply stunning. They are professional, unobtrusive (like photography ninjas), and so easy-going! Our lead photographer was going to be out of town the only time we could do our engagement photos and Kristen got another associate (who was at a higher price point) and she immediately got our style and sense of humor. My husband hates taking photos (think Chandler from Friends) and she made him so relaxed! The day of the wedding, we only budgeted 45 minutes of photography time with our wedding party and bride and groom shots. Our lead photographer, Stephanie, worked miracles with the time constraint and the changing light conditions! Our wedding photos were simply stunning and she got great action shots at the ceremony and reception. Kristen and her team are super organized so there's never a fear of forgetting something important. They are not the cheapest option and we really had to budget to include them in our wedding vendor line up. However, I do believe it's worth it because you'll want to remember your special day forever with beautiful pictures.

Excellent Photographers!

Kristen and her crew are phenomenal! We used them for our wedding this August and have nothing but great things to say about their work ethic as well as their photography skill and style! They are prompt to answer questions and not only did they provide us with a ton of beautiful images they also help to plan and coordinate your big day so it runs optimally and smooth! They really want to provide what each couple needs and are very honest and realistic when creating the photography timeline and day of schedule and how long a photographer is necessary. We received our images about a month after our wedding too which was a bonus! They also have tons of tips on great places for photos and bring that creative edge (that we were looking for) with confidence and professionalism. They also provide a second photographer and an assistant which helps keep everyone running on time when bride and groom are separated.

Our photographer was Kristin G. she was such a charismatic person to work with and she really brought out the fun, playful, loving and candid side for mine and my husbands photos! She was such a pleasure to work with!

Kristen shot our wedding day photos and they came out truly amazing. I did a lot of research in the Detroit area about who I wanted to capture our special day...because at the end of it all, that's all you're left with. I couldn't have been more happy with how the photos came out. They are absolutely perfect. Not only did the pictures come out great, but Kristen was so amazing to work with. Taking photos on your wedding day takes up a big portion of the day...aka you're spending a lot of time with the photographer and we couldn't have felt luckier that it was Kristen. She was so organized, stuck to the schedule, and just made the day so enjoyable. It wasn't stressful or overwhelming at all. She really brought good energy and vibes to the day which helped us get through it. We also loved how much she cared about every photo she took. It was obvious that she wanted every frame to look and be perfect, not just rushing to get through the list of people we wanted photos with and that really meant something to us. I've been recommending her to all my friends who are getting married because Kristen and her team are the best!

Courtney took the photos for our April wedding in Detroit and we could not have been happier with her work and with Kristen Taylor & Co! They were knowledgable, professional, punctual, and fun! We didn't have to worry about a thing on our wedding day when it came to pictures. The team at Kristen Taylor & Co was a DREAM to work with! Kristin G. was our photographer- she is amazing and has such a great eye for capturing moments and our personalities! I can't say enough great things about Kristen Taylor and Co. I am so happy I chose them to photograph my big day. I might be a little biased because I do work for Kristen, but honestly you can tell she is a very people centered photographer. My photographer was Stephanie and she did an amazing job! This was her first wedding as a Lead working for Kristen so I was a little hesitant, but everything was perfect. She made my husband and I feel extremely comfortable. Out of town/state brides: You want to work with KT&Co!

Kristen and Courtney (and everyone at the studio) were SO great. We had a few weather related travel mishaps for our engagement photos (coming from out of state) and Courtney was so understanding and didn't even flinch when we had to reschedule.

Kristen is such a trustworthy business manager to work with - you definitely don't have to worry about any issues going unhandled. She will go above and beyond if/when any problems arise!

We feel so lucky to have found Kristen Taylor & Co. because everything about our experience was just perfect. First, you have a group of AMAZING lead photographers to choose from (each with different pricing based on experience/years with the company), with an "about" section of each on their website and the ability to view their work; you are even able to meet or talk with your selected lead photographer to make sure it is a good match! We clicked with Kristin G. over the phone right away! We live in CT so we first met Kristin G. at our engagement shoot (which was included in the cost) and I loved that we were able to get comfortable in front of the camera before the big day, and get beautiful photos in the process! Kristen Taylor was involved during the entire process even though she was not our lead photographer, developing a timeline for our wedding day, discussing "must-have" photos, etc. Kristin G. and her team (second photographer and assistant) did an AMAZING job on our wedding day!!! Kristin G. truly has an eye for beautiful shots, because we were blown away when we saw our sneak peak, and even more so when we received our full gallery! I never thought we would have such a difficult time deciding which photos we like best!
I promise you will NOT be disappointed if you chose KT&CO. to photograph your wedding!!! They truly love what they do, and it shows!

I truly enjoyed working with Kirsten Taylor and her company throughout our wedding planning process. They are extremely organized and efficient, and we could not be happier with our wedding photos. Kristen was a joy to work with. She listened to all of my questions and offered her expert suggestions. She is a true professional and definitely knows her stuff when it comes to photography! My mind was at ease on our wedding day because I knew Kristen and her crew had our schedule under control. We had a large wedding party and managed to finish all of the shots we wanted ahead of schedule. I did a lot of research before booking a photographer, and felt that the packages Kristen offered were second to none. You definitely get what you pay for! Kristen has a second shooter, and an assistant that accompany her on the wedding day which is fantastic. They were a well-oiled machine! Also, every time a group of people were taking a photo on their phones at the wedding, one of the photographers would magically appear to capture the photo professionally and we ended up with a lot of great guest photos. You also receive access to an online photo gallery for all of your guests so that they can see all of your photos. Besides all of those perks, Kristen is clearly very passionate about her work. She made my camera shy husband and I feel SO amazing on our wedding day and the pictures reflect that. We could not be happier with this company, and I know we will cherish these photos for many years to come.

Kristen G was our wedding photographer and she was absolutely amazing from start to finish. She made us feel so comfortable the day of our engagement photo session and we knew that we made the right choice. Kristin is very talented and a total natural behind the camera. She seems to take in the chemistry of the couple and puts you in poses that fit your personalities and doesn't spend time in poses that seem uncomfortable/unnatural. We looked very natural in all of our photos. She was very flexible and professional on our wedding day and did not disappoint. We were blown away by how beautifully she captured our wedding day on camera! The pictures she took were breathtaking! Aside from having our wedding at the most beautiful venue ever, Kristin was our best decision of the day! Kristen Taylor was our photographer ... and the photos are just absolutely unbelievable. It's been about two months since our wedding and I look through the photos STILL every single day. Courtney took our wedding and engagement photos, and she did amazingly! She has a complete mastery of lighting and composition (especially when compared to a photographer's work for our first engagement photo session).
I also like that Kristen called me to help solidify the wedding day timeline. I hadn't really planned things out that precisely before, and that really helped.

Absolutely amazing. Kristin G was incredible. From the moment we met her we just felt like it clicked. She gave us her honest professional opinions about how to best capture our day and we can honestly say we are so happy we went with her. She helped guide us throughout the way and half the time we didn't even know she was there. She took our last minute requests and family requests, etc. Her assistant, and assistant photographer were as sweet as could be as well. She helped us to feel right at ease. Can't recommend her and Kristen Taylor & Co. enough. They truly captured all our precious moments.

The BEST decision I made for my wedding day! I researched photographers for months and kept coming back to Kristen Taylor & Co. Their work was stunning and I was so impressed with their communication that I decided to book them and was so happy that I did. I loved how caring and thoughtful they were and were sincerely interested in capturing every detail that I wanted. Kristin G. did such a wonderful job and her assistant was just as awesome! It felt like I had a good friend taking our photos. They made us feel so comfortable and captured some amazing shots. Every one of our guests has commented on how beautiful our photos are. I can't say enough good things! I highly recommend them!!

Courtney was our photographer and she did an awesome job! She showed up right on time and was on the ball taking photos right away. She even had things we might need for our big day. Hands down, Kristen Taylor and Co. are THE BEST! Since 2009 I have followed Kristen and her team (on their website and blog) and always dreamed of them shooting my wedding and they did on NYE 2016 :) They were absolutely amazing and amazing to work with. Hiring Kristen for our wedding was the best decision and I feel SO lucky that my sister found her back in 2011 for her wedding. Our proofs came back so early (with a USB!) and we actually could not be happier with how they turned out. Kristen is an artist. She and her crew were somehow able to capture EVERYTHING (beautifully) without us even noticing their presence which was perfect. Furthermore, as a bride who does not love being photographed, she instantly made me feel comfortable and confident. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone and everyone.

We had Courtney shoot our engagement and wedding photos and we could not be happier with the results! She is so wonderful to work with and takes the most beautiful pictures (seriously, we don't look that good in person!) She has a eye for finding awesome places to shoot and is super helpful with her directions. We definitely felt comfortable with her and I think it shows in our pictures. We got to meet with Kristen before the big day to map out our itinerary which was super helpful to keep us on schedule. I used the plan she came up with to organize all our other vendors and it worked out perfectly! It was also great to have specific pictures planned out ahead of time to make sure nothing was overlooked.
This is the second time my family has used their company. Kristen did my sisters wedding a few years ago and her photos were gorgeous! We have sent several other couples their way and I would happily recommend them to anyone!

Kristen taylor and her team is fabulous! This is the best choice I have made for my wedding. I have got so many compliments from my friends after the wedding. They all commented your photographer is awesome. And the flow to view the wedding photos is just so convenient, all online and very well orangized. And their customized USB with photos and information card about viewing wedding photos for the guests are so beautiful! This seems to be not important and , but I like beautiful things ( : After the first meeting with Kristen, we have been taken good care of. She provided us a lot of tips and suggestions to ensure more beautiful photos. She also provides a lot of excellent vendors even though I did not end up using any due to no time availability and many of my vendors are directly provided by my venue. We started our wedding planning just half a year in advance. Thus we have a late engagement session right at the university, she is so experienced and professional. I am so poor at photo taking, but after great instructions by her, she took a lot photos that me and my husband and our friends like and they have been great decos for my wedding! And since I am a Chinese bride, in fact I am not quite familiar with western wedding. Kristen helped a lot to decide the schedule on my wedding day and advise me not to schedule it so tightly as I have initially day. And on the wedding, she helped me plan my first look (which is not in my plan until then and that has been the favourite moment of my husband) due to the fact I don't have time for the chinese traditional activities I have planned. Besides, she has taken every details I have wanted! And she has captured so many candid moments that me and my husband, my friends liked!!!!! They are just so fantastic and professional!!!! KristenTaylor & Co is by far the best photography company that I have ever worked with. Before my wedding, I was the maid of honor in 3 weddings and I was a bridesmaids in 3 additional weddings all within a few years. None of the other photographers in those past weddings that I experienced were able to deliver the level of service and professionalism that we encountered with Kristien Taylor & Co. The style of this company and their attention to detail surpassed all of our expectations. There is no need for a videographer if you hire this company to photograph your wedding or event. Kristen Taylor & Company was able to capture my entire wedding day and all of the photos told a story. My new husband & I are able to relive the entire day by just viewing our stunning photos. We received nothing but the best compliments from ALL of our family and friends and we had about 150 guests in attendance. The photos were absolutely flawless, increadibly elegant, timeless, and extremely creative. This company is filled with true dedicated & passionate artists. Kristen Taylor & Co has a staff that is extremely prompt in their communication and response time if you have any questions or concerns before and even after your wedding. Anyone that chooses this company as their photographer will not be disappointed in their service and their products. I would absolutely recommend this vendor for anyone getting married!!! They were AMAZING from start to finish!! My now husband doesn't like being photographed and I am not super comfortable with it either but we felt so at ease with Courtney at our engagement session and the whole crew at our wedding! They were totally flexible when we nixed some family photos we had requested ( and then later in the night wanted to add more). I absolutely love our engagement photos but our wedding photos are stunning! They got photos of almost all of our guests which was very important to me!! If I had to do it over I wouldn't hesitate to use them!!

My husband and I just received our pictures today and are absolutely THRILLED with the results!! The only problem we have is narrowing down which ones we want to keep, because they are all so beautiful :).
Two things stick out to me most about Kristen:
1)I'm not so natural in front of the camera, and Kristen was great with pointers and helpful hints that helped us look our best.
2) As I'm sure happens with a lot of weddings, we were a little bit behind schedule with getting ready. Kristen and her assistant struck the perfect balance of being both calm and speedy. Their professionalism shined here!

I can't recommend Kristen enough for your wedding. I guarantee you won't be disappointed!

I was an out of town bride and put our wedding together over a few months. Kindred by Kristen Taylor was really great to work with throughout the whole process. Courtney was my photographer and I couldn't have asked for someone more flexible, organized and easy to work with. She was really laid back, but able to give direction and get exactly what we wanted. We did our (complimentary!) engagement shoot the day before our wedding and even with things being very hectic because of our schedule, we had such a great time and Courtney helped us feel super relaxed. The day of our wedding went really smoothly, I couldn't have asked for anything better. Courtney and her team kept us ahead of schedule, were all so nice and creative with their ideas! My family commented on how hard everyone with Kindred worked during our wedding and the final product really shows... the pictures are awesome! I have procrastinated ordering prints because there are so many that I want, I can't choose! I'm in love with our pictures; they truly capture what an amazing day we had. Kindred by Kristen Taylor photographed our wedding. From the very beginning, Courtney and Kristen were the extremely professional. It was so easy to work with such kind people. Our engagement session photos were beautiful and really captured our personalities. Planning for the wedding with them was very easy. They developed a schedule for the day of and really listened to what my husband and I desires with our photos. The pictures are so amazing! Courtney and her assistants were very spot on! They captured every little detail of our day, snapped pics of everything we wanted, and really went above and beyond. Now the only trouble is choosing which ones to print! (Not a bad problem) I think everyone that sees our pictures comments on the quality and diversity of them! Thank you for making our pictures the lasting memories of our special day!!!

We worked with Kristin G for our engagement and wedding session and she was incredible. Someone pointed out to me before we booked the wedding that you spend so much time with your photographer and it's really important to get along with them, something I never would have thought of otherwise. We loved her! Our wedding party loved her! Our families loved her! She fit so seamlessly into the wedding day and made the awkwardness of posing for photos for hours on end seem a little bit easier. I know the photos will represent what a positive experience we had.

Kristen and her team are absolutely amazing! I've been a fan of her work for many years and when it was my turn to get married, it wasn't even a question with who I'd choose for my photographer. She gets me and my obsession with small details and of course vintage glam. We are so happy with the way our photos came out and highly recommend her and her team!

Breathtaking!
Kristen is incredible! She captured our day perfectly! We couldn't be happier with our pictures. All of our guests were photgraphed. Kristen didn't miss a beat. Kristen was absolutely a pleasure to work with. Her experience and sense of professionalism made the entire process effortless. She took the time to listen to your needs as a client and made sure that she was able to meet them. I looked for a photographer for quite some time and once I came cross Kristen's work, there was no going back. Her photos are timeless. She did an awesome job of communicating with vendors and was a key component to our day running as smoothly as possible. I absolutely without hesitation would recommend her!

Kristen and her team were AMAZING. From the engagement process and our engagement photo shoot to our wedding day I could not have asked for more. She was so organized leading up to the day, she made sure she knew every shot I wanted and even suggested some ideas I didn't think of but loved. The day ran perfect and even though it was freezing she made sure we got every shot we wanted. I am in LOVE with my pictures and show them to anyone that will look at them! I am so happy to report that one of my bridesmaids loved her so much she just booked her for her wedding, can't wait to get more pictures taken from Kristen. We didn't do a videographer so this is the only thing we have to re-live the day and I am so happy every time we look at these pictures.

Kristen is INCREDIBLE!! Her talents and vision are amazing and we were so lucky to have her photograph our wedding.

We just received all of our proofs (so fast!) and we are over the moon with happiness. Our friends and family are all so impressed and it has been so fun reliving our 'best day Ever' through her eyes.

Kristen is very flexible and understanding and really makes you feel comfortable behind the camera. We were on a mission to find someone with a unique vision, but not too over-the-top and trendy. She is so professional and fun at the same time. Super organized and thinks of everything! We really felt a connection with her and her team and could be happier with every single picture.

Kristen was bit of a splurge for us (i.e. over-budget!), but was totally worth it. We ended up combining our videography and photography budget into one, and we were so happy we did. She is a pro at wedding photography- knows how to keep everyone on schedule, get those groomsmen to focus, and make it through family formals as quickly and least painfully as possible! Just as important (or I'd say more important!) are her impressive attention to detail and artistic abilities. Kristen is such a talented artist, and we are so pleased with our pictures. We received a few sneak-peak photos soon after getting home from the honeymoon, and had all of our edited pictures much sooner than expected! Would highly recommend Kristen and her team!

Brilliant in every way. We worked with Courtney for our engagement photos and wedding - everything from coordination to execution was great. I was planning the wedding from out of town to Kristen and Courtney made themselves available for many phone calls to review details and before the big day we covered everything so that day-of all I had to do was smile. Kristen Taylor was very organized and flexible throughout the planning process. They also had great resources available for booking other vendors and planning the schedule of the day.
Courtney and her staff were great and easy to work with. It took all my patience to wait for the photos after the wedding, but I was very happy with the results! My guests loved the thank you note cards.
