Wedding Day Food and Service was Amazing
Kohler Catering Catered our wedding this past spring and the service was spectacular with all the staff being super friendly and helping to answer any questions and make sure everything went smooth on our special day. The food was amazing and guests kept commenting on how delicious everything tasted, especially, the Carved Prime Rib and the Sauteed Pasta Station. Overall, we couldn't have been more impressed with Kohler Catering and would definitely recommend them to anyone that is looking for an excellent Caterer with great service and delicious food.Kohler Catering's reply:

Choosing Kohler Catering for our wedding was the best choice we could have made! We have 350+ people that attended our wedding and all of our guests were raving about how great the food was and how professional the staff was as well! Catie, Mr. Kohler and the rest of the staff at Kohler Catering did an amazing job. They went above and beyond to ensure that we had the best experience and could enjoy our wedding day without any worry! I would highly recommend using Kohler for any of your catering needs! -

Our venue had three preferred caterers and we are SO glad we went with the incredible staff at Kohler! Not only was the food prepared hot and delicious, it was the most amazing experience during a really tough time. We loved our experience picking out our menu during our tasting. There were so many delicious options but we did not feel overwhelmed because of their expertise. We had incredible communication with our contacts and they evolved with our plans every time we had to make a change due to COVID guidelines. They didn't leave out a single detail -- from requesting no sugar packets on the table to preparing a special allergy-friendly meal for me. The owner, Beth checked in on my husband and I multiple times during the night to make sure we had enough to drink and eat. Because of COVID, we had to have the bartenders deliver drinks to each table. Our guests raved about their service and speed. I cannot speak highly enough about this company - hire them today! You are guaranteed amazing food and excellent customer service. You want a company like theirs on your side during a global pandemic. -

These guys did so much for us that I was not expecting at all. We gave them the decorations for the centerpieces, and not only did they put that all together, they also put up all of the signs we had wanted as well. They did amazing with the decorations, and supplied all the linens. The food was also amazing! We were able to have a tasting beforehand, so we knew exactly how everything was going to taste beforehand. It was high quality food, and we had a lot to go around. -

We could not have picked a better caterer than Kohler! Working with Beth was a total breeze. She was professional, kind, and organized. You always hear about wedding food being bland and overpriced, but it was the total opposite with Kohler!! We chose a Greek-stuffed chicken breast and braised short ribs and they were juicy, perfectly seasoned, and delicious. The pricing was very fair and the service alone was worth every penny. Beth was there with me every step of the way, and was able to make quick last-minute adjustments. I would recommend Kohler to all of my friends and family getting married in the Dayton area! -

We had the best experience using Kohler to cater our wedding at the Steam Plant in Dayton, OH. We had tastings and meetings to plan and day of everything was perfect!! Kohler is above and beyond and we had multiple people tell us it was the best dinner they’ve ever had at a wedding. We love the Kohlers! -

Kohler Catering was amazing throughout the planning and execution of my wedding. The Kohler team was able to take my vision and bring it to life. I wanted a unique farm wedding and they delivered. The vegetable display in the rustic wheelbarrow and the drink station with the large mason jars tied in perfectly with the theme. My wedding was held at the family farm over an hour and a half away from Dayton, and the food was cooked on site and just spectacular. I would definitely recommend the grilled chicken with pesto sauce and filet with boursin cheese. All of my guests were raving about the food! The staff were so flexible and helpful during the whole day, I didn't worry about a thing. I was blessed enough to sit back and enjoy the reception. I would tell anyone looking for a caterer to give Kohler Catering a call, they can make your perfect day incredible! -

I was really excited to work with Kohler again, as I’ve worked with them professionally in years prior and have gone to many events at their facilities…This time around was a bit disappointing, though. Two weeks before the wedding, our final balance was due. We paid it in full, verifying the full order with the admin. Everything was right - the menu selections, the count, etc. or so we thought. The sales rep we had been working with was exposed to and then got sick with Covid, so we were placed with a different sales rep. The new sales rep came in after that two weeks out payment and reverted everything to the items we had tasted in the year prior. The timeline was botched. Nothing was right. I emailed her back, the wedding coordinator we hired contacted her as well. It took MULTIPLE emails and phone calls over the course of a few days in the week before our wedding to get things right. Throughout those communications, the new rep blamed the other rep who was sick and I sed the “I’ve been here longer” excuse for things not adding up and also blamed things on the sales portal and its inadequacies. When the wedding day came, things seemed to go well. There were a few hiccups along the way, but they were SUPER small. The real kicker though is that we ended up with another bill at the end of all of this, for whatever reason. Overall the food was great, things worked out, but the lack of professionalism on the part of some of the sales reps left a little something to be desired.
