Absolute amazing experience for a plus size bride!
I had such a fantastic experience with the whole Koda Bridal team. I never felt like I was treated poorly or unfairly there, and always felt comfortable. I fell absolutely in love with my dress, and still to this day I'm so happy I ended up with it! I love the fact they market themselves as a plus-size store. It's so rare to find! You won't be disappointed with Koda Bridal! -

I had the absolute best experience shopping for my wedding dress here! I was nervous about finding something my size that I actually liked, and I had way more options and my problem was narrowing them down - the best kind of problem to have. Koda was great with everything including tailoring the dress, sewing my bra into the dress for me so my girls didn’t fall out, and the staff was just so accommodating, wonderful and made me so excited about my big day. I’d recommend to anyone. -

Excellent Plus Size Bridal Shop
I found my dream dress at Koda Bridal with staff that showed nothing but warmth, kindness, and patience. I felt like a princess at my June 15th wedding! Another curvy bride was able to feel that way thanks to them! -

Koda was my third and final stop for a dress. Being a big lady I couldn’t get a good image other places, Koda made me comfortable. Brittany was so relaxed and not pushy it was wonderful!! -

Amazing dress!
I have never felt more beautiful! The team are so loving and attentive I felt truly special. And if you need alterations, they are AMAZING! As someone who struggles with strapless everything, my dress fit like a glove due to the endless attention to detail from top to bottom to make my dress fit just to me. -

I am a large person, so I was nervous about the process of looking for a dress. Someone suggested Koda to me, and boy I'm glad they did! I found my dream dress (that one of the owners suggested I try, I never would have tried it on otherwise) and got tons of compliments on it. The Seamstress went out of her way to make sure I was comfortable and she was a delight to see every few weeks, -

HOLY CRAP was I wrong. I had the greatest experience here. It just so happens that the first dress that I tried on happened to be the one! The staff made me feel so comfortable and absolutely beautiful. Thank you so much! This was an amazing experience.

Jona Sent on 12/05/2017My experience at Koda Bridal was absolutely fantastic. The selection is so varied that i found several dresses I absolutely loved. The best part was being able to order and try on all of the dresses because they were available in my size. I am so happy that i chose a retailer that caters to plus size women, all of my worries about dress shopping were put to rest as soon as I arrived, i immediately felt comfortable. Ever staff member was excellent and helpful beyond words. I cannot recommend Koda Bridal enough. It was one of the most special parts of my wedding experience, hands down. -

Before coming to this salon I was afraid that I was going to be stuck with a standard/typical plus size wedding dress. But at Koda Bridal I had soooo MANY OPTIONS and at a variety of price points. The staff made me feel like royalty at all of my appointments and I couldn't have felt more special. The alterations were also superb and my dress fit perfect!! I can't thank Koda Bridal enough for helping me find the dress of my dreams.

Ashley Sent on 08/29/2017Koda Bridal changed my life. Being a plus sized bride especially during this stressful time is pure craziness. It was very hard to find a dress to actually try on and envision myself in it. While shopping in traditional bridal salons, I would have to hold the dress up to me and try to picture what it would look like in my size…plus I wouldn’t even get to try it on in my size til I ordered it and paid for it in full. That obviously wasn’t an option and the process of wedding dress buying become more and more cumbersome. I discovered Koda online and booked an appointment immediately. I fell in love with a dress that I normally wouldn’t see myself in and it came out perfect. The listened to every concern I had when trying on a dress and each dress they picked next was better and better! The turnaround time for the ordering was great. I was even able to customize what I wanted my dress to look like. They took a strapless sweetheart neckline and added a full back and sleeves lined so you couldn’t see my extensive tattoo work! It was a DREAM COME TRUE. I cannot recommend Koda enough. They take a normally painstaking process and made it wonderful. -

I got my dress at Koda Bridal and it was a great experience buying the dress and even better getting to wear it on my wedding day! I was nervous about dress shopping cause it's hard enough to find regular clothes but there were so many styles, sizes, and choices that the experience was great! -

Jackie Sent on 10/16/2013I found out about Koda Bridal at the Wedding Clickers show in Monroeville. I was just looking at the dresses with my fellow when one of their consultants, Sari, approached me and asked if I'd like to try something on. I was perplexed because, as a plus size gal, I wasn't expecting any of the shops to be able to cater to me on the spot. However, to my surprise, I tried on a dress that was gorgeous and it was too BIG! When I watch those wedding dress shopping shows, I always imagined going to try on dresses and having nothing fit, but with Koda, my experience was SO not like that. I made an appointment and while their hours are not the best, they do make sure that appointment time is focused on you and your party, not fifty million other people (like at larger bridal shops). The gown that I got was on the more expensive side, but the quality is great and it is absolutely beautiful. In fact, were it not for the individualized attention, I may not have found a dress that day. The dress I ended up getting was recommended by Sari. I was wary at first, as it wasn't something I would have picked for myself, but when I put it on, I felt not only beautiful, but ready to have fun. I absolutely loved my Koda Bridal experience. -

We drove down to Pittsburgh to visit Koda Bridal from upstate NY. It took us about 5 1/2 hours one way but it was totally worth it! The staff are very friendly and made me feel very comfortable. The dress selection was not your typical "plus size dress" selection. The variety of their dress selection was amazing! The dress I chose ended up being something I tried "on a whim." I never thought in a million years that I would have chosen the style I went with but once I put it on, I knew it was THE dress. I'm so happy we made the 5 1/2 hour drive to Koda! -
