My husband and I wouldn't change a thing about our amazing wedding reception at Knotted Roots! It was perfect and exactly what we wanted. All vendors were great and Loe was awesome! I hope we can do it again there when we renew our vows in 10-20 years LOL! -

Knotted Roots is unexplainably the best value for your money! Angie and Loe are such great people, and they became part of the family along the way! The all-inclusive package takes away so much stress of having to hire vendors yourself! They made our entire night so perfect and beautiful! -

The staff went above and beyond. True pros and our day went off without a hitch! Well 1 happened....us haha! The way the staff makes you feel so special and all of the vendors working together makes this all in one package such a breath of fresh air! The venue is absolutely stunning and blows the guests away! -

We are absolutely in love with Knotted Roots on the Lake. It was definitely love at first sight here, the same way Robert felt when we met 27 years ago. This venue and the staff made us feel so special and the feeling of love was all around. Although we had a small wedding, it was amazingly intimate and romantic. Everyone felt the love! -

We had the best day and so pleased with how our wedding turned out.
This was our choice when we first got engaged and then Covid happened and our wedding put on hold. We started revisiting venues in January of this year and decided to start back at Knotted Roots. We were so fortunate with the timing, but the venue had a few "leftover dates" for this year and they were running a special if we chose one of those. I'm all about a deal & we were already engaged for two and a half years so we decided to go with May this year and started planning a wedding in just a few months!
The all inclusive option was perfect and we decided to book a few extra vendors ourselves. Angie was helpful the first time we visited a few years ago and was just as helpful when we returned in January. Our friends were the first people who married at Knotted Roots & we absolutely fell in love. Angie, Loe and Ari did an awesome job with our Wedding! We loved the decor and felt like home working with these ladies. 10/10 WOULD RECOMMEND!!! -

We could not have asked for a better venue. Angie and the crew put everything together and were available for all of our questions. They also were, by far, the best value in the area. It doesn't look like much from the road, but as soon as you pull into the site it's like you are somewhere else. I really cannot say enough. All of our guests still talk about how beautiful our day was almost 6 months later. I am so thankful! -

I honestly cannot say enough good things about this venue and staff. We looked at a couple other places but nothing else came even close. We got the all inclusive package and our wedding was planned in only 4 months and it was absolutely perfect, we couldn't have asked for anything better. Everything was amazing and our guests keep telling us how beautiful everything was and how much fun they had! Angie was awesome, she made us feel so confident with everything from the get go (honestly another reason why we picked Knotted Roots) and I knew I didn't have to stress about everything on our day. They also had the sweetest staff there during the day while we were getting ready who kept checking to see if we needed anything. Every single person there was so great to us and even the vendors they use are the best. The food, drinks, officiant, cake, DJ and photographer were all perfect and we couldn't have asked for more. If you are looking for a spot for your wedding I would HIGHLY recommend Knotted Roots to anyone! -

Words can’t express how incredibly wonderful the venue and the staff are at Knotted Roots on the Lake! My husband and I were working with an extremely limited budget and they gave us the wedding of our dreams. The venue itself is exquisite, with tall oaks with Spanish moss overlooking the lake, with twinkled lights set up that shine even more when the sun goes down (it makes for a perfect sparker photoshoot!). We went with the all exclusive package, meaning that Angie took care of everything for us! The package included photography, catering, a DJ, our cake, and bartender. We even were able to purchase a décor package that made our wedding look Pinterest perfect! Leading up to the wedding, Angie helped coordinate with all of our vendors, it made our lives so easy. On the day of, they were generous enough to let me use the venue for a private yoga class before getting sequestered in their super cute bridal suite. They guys loved the groom’s quarters, it’s a super cool converted Airstream! The staff there really felt like an extension of our family and friends. Everything happened without a hitch and was exactly how I always pictured it. Everyone that attended our wedding kept on saying how beautiful it was and how much fun they had – Knotted Roots helped us throw the most perfect wedding bash!! -

Knotted Roots on the Lake allowed me to have the wedding that I had always hoped for. Angie and her team were professional, reasonable, and turned my dream into a reality. I was able to explain my vision to Angie and she made everything happen! I am so glad I chose Knotted Roots! -

Absolutely amazing! The venue was perfect for us right by the lake and the inclusive package was perfect for me. Angie was so great during the whole planning steps even weeks after the wedding. The venue and staff made it possible for us to spend more time enjoying the process of getting married then stressing every little detail. Anytime we had questions they were answered right away. We were also lucky to attend a few other events including a 30th birthday party for a friend and even that was a great time! Knotted Roots will definitely be an option in our book for future events! Our day was perfect! -

Angie and Mo were awesome! The venue is in a very natural setting. After decorations and our added touches it was beautiful.
My son and new daughter in law lived out of town and needed a venue quickly because they are in the military. They were very accommodating and easy to work with. Angie the coordinator answered all my questions quickly and helped at the venue the day of the wedding. It went smooth in spite of a little wind and rain. Everyone had a great time and the bride and groom were happy❤️ -

This venue is beautiful! We celebrated a surprise Sweet 16 here.. The staff was wonderful and so accommodating. They offer every imaginable service/product to make the perfect event. Thank you Angie for all of your hard work!Knotted Roots on the Lake's reply:

Words can't describe how beautiful the venue is. From the old house restored for a bridal suite to the hand built driftwood arch everything is gorgeous. Now onto the people, they are the ones that truly make the magic happen. Lori, the owner is an absolute sweetheart and will do everything she can to help her brides. Angie and Lena, the coordinators, are truly amazing. They go above and beyond to make sure everything goes off without a hitch, all while keeping the bride calm and unaware of all that is going on outside. These two ladies are beautiful inside and out and I absolutely could not have asked for a better venue or two better coordinators to make our day amazing.Knotted Roots on the Lake's reply:

This place is so pretty! Angie and her staff were such a joy to work with! Angie stayed on top of every detail and always put our mind at ease. Lo was a Godsent on the day of the wedding. She made sure everything ran smoothly and was at the bride's beckon call the entire night. -

The scenery outside is amazing but something’s need to be updated. The bridal suite was dirty and had cobwebs. The ball was dropped several times for our wedding. From not knowing what to do the day of the wedding. To some of the food not being ordered. To the Dj not knowing what to do.
