Amazing amazing amazing!!

My hair and makeup was absolutely amazing for my wedding. The team also did an amazing job on the bridal party. My mom and mother in law were both so happy with how they looked and that was of upmost importance to me. Wonderful team, amazing attitudes, and their work speaks for itself.

The best!!

EVERYONE liked their hair/make-up!

.... and we all know this isn't often the case. We had a mix in the group of airbrush make-up, regular make-up, up-dos, and flower girl hairstyles. Everyone said how happy they were and that they ''felt like themselves, just fancier'' -- which was very important to our group!

Wedding Bliss

The Knick was amazing for getting ready for my wedding day! The staff worked so hard to make our day perfect and make every arrangement for us to have the best time. All the staff were fantastic and made us look absolutely stunning! From hair and makeup to everything in between, they were perfect! Having the salon all to ourselves made the day even more special.

I felt like I was late in booking hair and makeup for my wedding, but it was all worth it because The Knick was amazing! Kira was great to work with and was able to schedule myself, EIGHT bridesmaids, and three additional family members for hair/makeup all in the comfort of our hotel suite. Deanna (hair) and Sabrina (makeup) also did a fantastic job as they were the ones who did my trial and wedding day glam! Plus all my girls had a great experience! Would highly recommend!

Wonderful Experience

The Knick Salon & Spa did a wonderful job on me and my wedding party. They were able to do all of our hair and makeup at the airbnb we were staying at and did so beautifully. Would definitely recommend!

The Knick Salon: Amazing!

We had Emily, Deanna, and Jill. All three arrived on time, Emily did make-up and Jill and Deanna did hair. It was perfect! My hair and makeup lasted all day and all of the bridesmaids raved about how wonderful the team was from The Knick Salon. Thank you!

Such a great experience!!

They were great from start to finish!! Kira was so wonderful and responsive throughout the entire process and helped me get everything organized! They did a great job on my hair and makeup trial and did an even better job the day of my wedding. They were so welcoming from the moment we got there. Sabrina did a FABULOUS job on my makeup and my hair was also done with the utmost detail. I was so happy with the entire experience and would recommend them to anyone!!

Adorable Salon, Great Service, Friendly Stylists

The first thing that stuck out to me was how perfectly adorable the salon was for a wedding day. There is a cute lounge area to mingle while others are getting their hair and makeup done and it just felt like the perfect setting to get married. Kira was quick to communicate in the scheduling process and was very accommodating. Everyone looked fabulous as we left - all hair and makeup stylists were incredibly friendly and cared that everyone felt their best. Would recommend for any bride!

They made all of us feel SO welcome and special. Plus, I felt so beautiful. My makeup and hair were FLAWLESS. Get a room at the Knickerbocker for the night before wedding and get your wedding party hair done here- it's amazing.

The Knick Salon is Amazing!

My sisters and I had the most amazing experience at The Knick Salon for my wedding : ) Kira was extremely helpful during the scheduling process since I was travelling from out of state for my wedding. Our make-up and hair looked beautiful and it was such a wonderful place to hang out on my wedding day (ordered food to the salon) while we each had our services. The airbrush make-up is definitely worth it and Sabrina is AMAZING! The make-up was beautiful and held up throughout the night. She did such an amazing job that two of my sisters ended up getting airbrush after seeing her work. She was able to squeeze them in before we left : ) Deanna listened to me for my hair and her recommendations were very appreciated! It was a very relaxing environment and the staff were friendly and helpful! High recommend!!

When I went in for my consultation at Knick, I was immediately impressed with the facilities, as well as the staff. When I came back for my hair and makeup trial, my bridesmaids and mother were so impressed with what they saw, they wanted to get theirs done there too! Knick was very helpful when I was communicating last minute changes regarding who would be with us. They were very efficient, as well as friendly and welcoming and did a fantastic job with everyone. I had such a good experience with Knick that I've decided to make it my regular salon.

For my wedding I wanted to look and feel comfortable and beautiful and the ladies at the Knick did not disappoint! At my hair trial with Kate, she tried out multiple styles until I found the one I liked the best. Day of, she pulled it together better than I could have imagined! It even lasted up the whole night! My trial with Sabrina for make-up went just as well, I walked out of there feeling great! She really listened to my preferences and made me feel better than I had before with make-up on. Again, day of turned out even better. I couldn't stop smiling. I now can't stop smiling as I look back at my pictures seeing my hair and make up exactly as I imagined! Thank you so much for making me feel amazing on my wedding day!

My review is for the practitioners I worked with: Kate (wedding hair), Sabrina (wedding makeup), and Cathy (day-before massage, manicure and pedicure. These ladies are highly skilled at what they do and left me feeling and looking my absolute best for my wedding day. Cathy was lovely and did the impossible: I relaxed a little the day before my wedding. My nails also looked great (and the salon had a color close to the one I had chosen but forgot to bring to my appointment). I cannot say enought about Kate and Sabrina. From the trial I did in October to the big event, they were incredible. They let me email them with comments and photos in the lead-up, even as I made changes and tweaks to the look I was going for. They are both so personable and supportive and easy to work with. I am still getting compliments for my hair and makeup on the day. I felt confident and it showed! I would recommend each of these professionals unequivically. There were moments that the email communications with Kira, who I believe manages the salon, were a little odd. But nothing can diminish how happy I was with the services I received. Thanks, guys!

I love, love, love the team at the Knick. I was paired with Deanna and Sabrina for hair/make up and I cannot say enough about them both. The staff was always responsive to emails, easy to schedule with, and personable. I did both a hair and make up trial which was helpful to figure out what I liked but ultimately wasn't even needed because everything stayed just where it should. My make up lasted all day (even with a wedding day that called for rain) and so did my hair. I would highly recommend the Knick for your big day and for anything else! I've used them for waxing, spray tans, hair cuts/color. The service has always never disappointed. Book with these ladies!

We loved using The Knick Salon for our day of Wedding hair and make-up! I did a hair trial prior to my wedding date just to get style ideas! All the ladies that helped us were fantastic!!!!! They invited us in and let us take over and spread out in their waiting area. My bridesmaids, MOB, MOG, and others all loved the styles they received from the stylists. I had a few bridesmaids that got airbrush make-up and a few that had regular. Everyone looked so AMAZING!!!! Scheduling and getting in contact with the salon was easy and they were always very polite! I highly recommend!!!!

We had a great experience! Our group included myself, my mother, mother-in-law and 5 bridesmaids. The staff were wonderful and did a great job! The price was on the lower end for the area and everyone was very happy with their hair. They also opened up early to make sure everyone was ready for our earily ceremony. Highly recommend!

I could not have asked for a better team to work with than the ladies from the Knick Salon and Spa for my wedding hair and makeup. They were so accommodating and helpful, super professional and did an absolutely amazing job. All of my bridesmaids were impressed with how efficient and skilled they were, and it so nice that they were will to travel to our hotel so we could get ready in our hotel room all together. I would highly recommend the Knick Salon and Spa for hair and makeup for wedding parties! My mom, bridesmaids, and I had a great experience and loved our hair and makeup! The staff were very friendly and made sure all our needs were met! We were able to bring food and drinks in which not a lot of places allow. We also had the entire salon to ourselves! My experience with the Knick Salon and Spa has been great. The owner, Kira, was extremely helpful, responsive and accommodating through the scheduling process for our hair and makeup trials, nail appointments and day-of services. Kate did an amazing job with my bridal hairstyle - I will continue to go to her for haircuts and future services. Sabrina's makeup skills are top-notch. Both looked amazing and myself, moms and bridal party received many compliments. Everything from the services, the staff and the atmosphere was perfect. I would most definitely recommend the Knick Salon and Spa for wedding and related services.

Our large group basically took over the salon the morning of my wedding and all of the ladies of The Knick Salon took good care of us. They let you bring in food/drinks and are very friendly. Reasonable pricing. I had a good time during both my trials and the day of the wedding - the stylists were confident and I had no nerves at all. They also went above and beyond my hair and make-up needs - my pedicure got messed up (had it done at a different salon the previous night) and they provided me with nail polish to fix it that morning for no charge! Communication was always prompt and the owner of the salon was professional and flexible with scheduling. Highly recommend Erin (makeup artist) and Deanna (hair stylist). Thank you for helping my whole bridal party look beautiful!

I don't know why I took so long to write a review, but better late than never...Alyssa, Deanna, and the whole team at the Knick Salon were absolutely amazing! My whole experience with them was top notch, from booking the date to my makeup/hair trials to the big day. Alyssa was the contact I spoke with to book as well as my amazing makeup artist, and she did such a beautiful job on me as well as my bridesmaids. Everyone looked stunning! Angela did my hair trial and Deanna was my hair stylist on the day, and both were fabulous. Deanna (and Angela) did exactly what I asked for. All of my ladies loved their stylists, and like I said they all looked stunning. Besides doing a marvelous job in beautifying us, they made us feel super comfortable in the salon, allowing us to bring snacks and bump some Beyonce. It was the perfect start to a perfect day! I would hands down recommend this salon to anyone looking to look and feel beautiful!

Oh my gosh!!! To say that I was pleased with the services that Knick Salon provided for us for my daughter’s wedding is the understatement of the century!! The entire weekend was a HUGE success and I couldn’t be happier.
The salon was the perfect kickoff to the weekend. The relaxing environment allowed us to have some private quiet time together before all the hustle and bustle started.
The staff was OUTSTANDING on Saturday morning. They were prompt, professional, friendly and their skills are really the best in town and believe me, I have looked around. They all made everyone look spectacular but better yet, they made everyone feel beautiful. They really listened to what everyone wanted and needed for the day. They didn’t go above and beyond the call of duty, they moved heaven and earth to make our morning and day perfect! From color selections to final execution, the service was bar none. Period.
The bride was gorgeous! Angela and Alissa were amazing! Everyone said she was radiant and looked like a goddess. They drew out her natural beauty and allowed her to shine on her special day. A mother couldn’t ask for anything more for her daughter.
My youngest daughter was completely age appropriate and angelic! Deanna was great with her! My mother’s sister said that she has never looked better and congratulated me on taking such good care of her. That was very meaningful to me. And, one of the adults there was actually in tears because she didn’t expect to look that good.
Personally, I have never felt more beautiful. I gave Angela and Alissa an inspiration of old Hollywood and Marilyn Monroe. They helped me to not only obtain the look but I embodied it.
If anyone ever asks me where to go for beauty treatments for a wedding or for any other reason, I will not only recommend Knick Salon but tell them to run, not walk to Knick today. Their services helped create an unforgettable day for all of us and for that, I will forever be grateful!

I got a bridal package at the Knick (nails, toes, and hair and makeup with trial), and we had about 8 ladies from my bridal party/parents/sisters getting their hair and/or nails done before the wedding. The Knick was very helpful in scheduling everything, and then rescheduling when we realized that everyone wouldn't be done early enough. My hair, makeup, and nails looked great, and so did everyone else who had services there. They were also very accommodating in letting us bring in food and drinks for everyone in the wedding party; even people who weren't getting services there. It helped give us an air of excitement and togetherness before the big event.

Very professional - a group of 5 stylists came to our hotel promptly at 7AM as scheduled to prepare bride, bridesmaid, and mom in our hotel room. Everyone was very friendly and did an amazing job getting everyone ready within 2 hours! Would highly recommend their outstanding team.

They were speedy and yet careful with their work, and I had 6 bridesmaids, 2 moms and 1 flower girl along with myself. They finished all of our hair and make up with plenty of time to spare before our 12 pm wedding. I loved my hair style very modern but delicate and romantic looking. My wedding party loved the space for spreading out, right by grocery store for last minute emergencies, etc.

Theresa did my hair for my wedding and she did an AMAZING job. She was able to take my general idea for what I wanted and turn it into a beautiful wedding "do". All of my bridesmaids and mothers also had hair done by a few other girls and every single girl looked great. I would absolutely recommend this salon!!

It's definitely true.. you get what you pay for. The Knick Salon is worth every penny! My sister and I got our hair and makeup done for my wedding last weekend. The staff was amazing! We both looked amazing and the hair and makeup lasted all night. I would recommend any off the staff, but especially Deanna. She is creative and truly listens to what you want.

The Knick was amazing! My bridesmaids, mother in law, and I all had our hair and make up done before my wedding. It was fun, simple, and we all looked great. Our make-up and hairstyles held up through crazy wind and a long night of dancing. We were so happy with our results!

Knick Salon provided hair, makeup, and manicures for me and several others in my wedding party. We were very pleased with the results. Everyone looked great! I was very impressed that my stylist was able to remember and re-create the style from my hair trial even though we had done the trial 10 months previously (because I live out of town and I was visiting then). The salon was a very warm and relaxing place to be on the morning of my big day.

The stylist at the knick did a great! Reasonable prices and let us bring our own breakfast food in too. I got many complements on my hair through out the day. It was very secure the entire day too. Did a great job! I will be continuing to use them for regular hair cuts and colors now that the wedding is over !

Knick Salon and Spa is responsible for making sure my experience getting beautified was a memory to treasure. With giving them short notice on the date I needed services, they went out of their way to accommodate my wedding party needs. All my bridesmaids were treating like queens as they had refreshments ready and available, stations were ready for action and the stylists waiting to make us look beautiful on my special day. Paying extra attention to the bride, they made my dream up-do come true and my hair lasted all night long even with all the dancing! I received a lot of compliments from my bridesmaids about the professionalism and creativity to tailor up-dos that made each individual glow. My wedding package with hair and make up was really reasonable compared to other places i checked out and the quality, technique and creativity was amazing! Even the girls makeup looked wonderful and natural since they use Bare Minerals product. I cannot say enough how thankful i am to these Salon making me look my best that day and my morning stress free treating me like a princess and making me feel like one too ;)

I had an amazing experience with The Knick Salon! They had a very talented team of hair stylists and make up artists. I had a bridal party of 5, 2 moms, 1 flower girl and 1 bride - they organized breakfast for us and got everyone out the door on time and looking like a million bucks. I had a conflict with a previous salon that I had booked and when I needed to fit our bridal party in at the last minute - The Knick worked with me to get our group taken care of and in the books. It was an amazing experience and they really got my wedding day started on the right foot. I have nothing but great things to say about The Knick and would be willing to talk to anyone who needs a recommendation for a great salon!

The knick salon and spa created my look for my wedding day. They were able to perfectly replicate the hairstyle I pinned on Pinterest and I asked for natural looking makeup with dramatic eyes and that’s exactly what I got. In addition, I had 7 girls in my bridal party, my mom, mother-in-law, and officiant who also got hair and makeup done and they did an amazing job on everyone. They kept the morning flowing (started at 9:30 AM and were finished by 1 PM) I was very impressed with their efficiency and skill. Highly recommend them for any event and was especially thrilled to have them on my wedding day!

I was very impressed by the staff at Knick. They were extremely accommodating to my bridal party and basically let us have the run of the salon the morning we were there, including letting us bring in snacks and mimosas and letting us use their makeup chairs to get ready. We utilized the Knick Spa and Salon for pre wedding spa activities (massages, nails, facials) and day of hair and make-up. They were able to send their hair and makeup technicians to our hotel located in downtown Milwaukee, saving us valuable time on the wedding day. My stylist worked with me for a trial and made sure I got exactly what I wanted for my big day. Everything went smoothly and the services stayed within our timeline for the day. Wedding day!

Not only was my trial a ton of fun but the day of was seamless! We had 7 of us total and you wouldn’t know with the zen atmosphere- the ladies were super talented and the owner was there the whole time making sure the timeline was on track, so I didn’t have to worry about a thing. Couldn’t have picked a better salon for the day of!

Stunning Hair & Make-up

I am so pleased with the Knick! We had them come to the hotel to do our hair and make-up, and we had our nails done there the day before. They were awesome! All four women were fun, flexible, and incredibly talented. Everyone was very pleased with how their hair and make-up turned out! I would definitely recommend them!

Well taken care of at the Knick!

My wedding party and I enjoyed our makeup services at the Knick. Sabrina took great care of me on my wedding day. She listened to what I wanted. I felt like everyone in the party ended up with a nice, natural look! We enjoyed the delicious tea too. Also, after initially having a hard time getting a hold of anyone, Kira worked hard to get the whole party in and complete before the ceremony. Thanks!

I got my hair and makeup done at the Knick for my wedding and it was a lovely experience. I wanted a fun, stress-free morning on the day of my wedding and that was exactly what I got! Everyone there was very friendly and professional. Kira (the lady at the front desk) made sure that we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Kate did an amazing job with my hair and was so approachable the entire time. Deanna did a beautiful job with my MOH's hair. My MOH and I don't wear makeup often so we wanted very subtle looks and Sabrina totally came through for us. The whole process was just so enjoyable, which really set the tone for the rest of my wedding day!

My wedding party wasnt very organized so I kept calling and changing our reservations. They were always super nice and accomodating about it.
I was dissapointed in the shellace selection tho. I definately was not in love with my nails for my big day. If you are looking for a quality frenchy then this is the place for nails.

Great experience

We had a fairly large bridal party, and everyone was able to get their hair and makeup done in plenty of time. The stylists and makeup artists all did a great job, and everyone was happy with the results. Would definitely recommend The Knick for wedding hair/makeup.

I booked Knick Salon and Spa for on-site hair and makeup for myself, two moms and five bridesmaids. My mom and I went in for trials about two months before and had a great experience! The staff was welcoming, and so accommodating for my mom, who usually doesn't wear an ounce of makeup - she wanted to look natural, and her makeup artist did just that! I love my hair and makeup, felt like me, yet beautifully unique for my wedding day. I could not have imagined my wedding day without them. Deanna helped calm my nerves, and the staff was on time and ready to go when we were! Appointments finished on time, and we were ahead of schedule after hair and makeup. Now THAT never happens! :) Highly recommend to anyone looking for quality staff that will do a great job, and have a good personality while they do it!

I loved the salon it was beautiful. I loved my hair and makeup- I had Deanna (I think) for hair And Sabrina for makeup, however 2 of my bridesmaids thought their makeup could've been a little better. I believe the concern was with an independent contracted make up artist, (I didn't catch her name). I bought a package to include my bridal trial (only includes hair trial ) however there was miscommunication somewhere, and had to pay extra for the makeup trial. At the of the day I loved how my hair and make up turned out.

Everything was very good - only suggestion I can make is after getting nails done (mani or pedi) to maybe use a heat lamp or something like that. Even wearing the flip flops provided after 2 hours or so, when I put on my shoes my big toe got ruined. My mother-in-law's fingers also got messed up shortly afterwards as well.

Stylists=AMAZING, Scheduling/Invoice=Frustrating

We had 6 stylists from Knick Salon that came on-site to do hair and makeup for my bridal party and myself on our wedding day. They did a fantastic job-everyone looked amazing!! My bridal hair and makeup was exactly how I would have envisioned it (but even better)! I had many people asking me which salon I used after seeing how beautiful we all looked. I am so grateful that everything worked out since I was pretty unhappy with the initial back and forth of scheduling issues and incorrect invoice pricing. Just make sure that if you use their services you triple check your invoice and triple check each service that each bridal party member is receiving.

Makeup artist was fantastic - highlighted faces and didn't go too heavy. Most of the beauticians were great. The bridesmaids all had hair put into updo or partial updo and looked very nice. My hair wasn't as nice as the trial - bigger/fewer loops - but she might have been rushed. It was terribly windy out and my hair held, so I don't mind that it wasn't exactly the same. My mother didn't like her hair do, and I didn't really like it either. We told her beautician that it need more curl and to be a bit softer and she said she'd fix it after my mom got her makeup done, but the beautician was in the middle of a dye job then, so my mom just let it go as we were running late. She cried about it later, though.

Beautiful results for photos

The makeup artists were incredible, absolutely loved working with them. Our hair turned out lovely for photos, but had to be recurled a lot throughout the day (even before dancing). The first hairstylist I tried through Knick did not follow the picture I provided, but the second one did, although I still had to pay for second trials.
