Every was absolutely top notch! He got us through the ceremony and the reception with such ease because I was thissss close to bawling my eyes out not knowing what to do. If you want someone who KNOWS WHAT HE’S DOING and WILL GO ABOVE AND BEYOND, book this guy.

DJ Karl Hunt

This was the third event Karl has done for our family, and I could not be happier with his service! He was one vendor I knew I didn’t have to worry about because of his kindness, professionalism, creativity, and flexibility.

I gave Karl a very long do not play list, and our wedding playlist was absolutely perfect! I had multiple people come up to me during the reception to tell me how good the music was!

I can’t recommend Karl enough! He will make your event that much more special.

Best vendor we had!

Karl went above and beyond our expectations. He communicated very well on the how everything was going to go, and his wedding documents made it very easy to let him know what we wanted to play and when. During the ceremony and reception he did very well organizing everything, and got people on the dance floor when they were needed. He was also nice enough to get a third microphone for our best men's speech without any additional cost.

Absolutely Amazing!

Karl really took the time to understand what our vision was for our special day. He asked the right questions, he was patient with us with all of our small requests, and he was very considerate of what we communicated was important to us.

He provided us with the cuts of our introduction music so that we could give him feedback in advance of our wedding and he was really great at reading the room and adjusting the day of if needed.

Not only that, but when the dance floor opened there wasn't one person in their seat. People can't stop talking about how much fun they had at our wedding!

DJ for Annual Elementary School Dance

DJ Karl is the best! He truly makes our event super special every year. He picks great songs, takes requests, has great commentary, great set up and is just truly a great guy! I cannot say enough about how fantastic he is. He is also incredibly responsive and dependable. Hire him! He is a gem 🩷

Great local DJ!

Karl was on the approved vendors list for our venue, and we can see why! Great from start to finish. He's very meticulous about each and every detail of your big day, and makes sure he covers everything. Day of, he was absolutely fantastic! Music from the ceremony to cocktail hour to dinner to the reception was spot-on for what we wanted. Also I want to give extra kudos because he made sure everyone was quiet during my mother's blessing - she really appreciated it! Very experienced DJ local to the Baltimore area - would highly recommend!

DJ Karl kept the party rolling!

Karl was the best DJ we could have asked for! He took a lot of care to check in with us throughout the night and made sure he pronounced everyone's names correctly during announcements. Karl also worked our personal music taste into the set list, both with playing songs we love and abiding by our "Do Not Play" list. He was punctual and very professional, and his set list was fantastic at getting people dancing. In the weeks after our wedding everyone has been raving about how wonderful he was. We would definitely hire Karl and KMK DJ Services again!

WOW! 5 star wedding DJ

Karl was AMAZING! I can not say enough praise about how happy I was with our choice in DJ. I had guests come up and ask for his information as everyone was so impressed. He really listened to our song selection and built it up from there. Karl was super easy to work with and when we had to postpone for Covid he was very responsive. Throughout our wedding, Karl kept coming up to me and providing updates and when we were going to begin events like cake cutting to make sure I was ready. If you are in need of a DJ, DJ KARL IS WHERE IT IS AT. Look no further and you will not regret it.

Awesome DJ Service!

DJ Karl did such a great job! He was so flexible and went with flow. Both my husband and I forgot to communicate to him a couple changes made the day before but he caught on and adjusted accordingly for our wedding day. The music selection was exactly what we wanted. He even double checked with me regarding what songs he might not be able to get to which was highly appreciated. Karl communicated to our guests in the most perfect way. There was never a dull moment. We were very happy and impressed with Karl's work. Thank you for an amazing day!

Would highly recommend

Karl was the DJ at our wedding. He was fantastic throughout the whole process- from the first meeting to the wedding itself. We met a few times in person and then kept in contact by email and phone as the wedding approached. We made a list of songs we wanted played and then he added in others based on our meetings and the types of music genres we like. One of our songs was an acoustic version and he was even able to get that version to play at the wedding. It sounded great! He coordinated with our caterer to make sure the timeline was perfect and even checked with us during the reception to make sure we were happy. I could not have asked for a better experience. Everything ran so smoothly. We highly recommend Karl!

Wedding DJ Karl Hunt

Karl Hunt’s DJ services were nothing less than exceptional. He was easy to work with, flexible, and responsive in a timely manner. When our event duration had to be shortened by an hour about 60 days prior to the wedding, Karl told us it was no problem, and he updated the invoice to reduce the price by an hour of service. More so, he helped coordinate events and kept the wedding and reception running smoothly better than the day of coordinator! Karl respected our song requests, custom tailored a perfect playlist for the wedding (ranging from baroque in the garden, to fantasy music at dinner, to dance music at the reception) using a sample of our favorite songs/artists/genres, and even suggested a few gems that really pleased a crowd of mixed ages. We had an excellent experience with Karl and absolutely recommend him for any wedding or event!

Karl was extremely helpful for our wedding day, he payed attention to what we really wanted and even what we didn't so that we were comfortable and stress free. He kept things flowing even when we were distracted all over the place with our guests and played great song choices when we were unsure of anything. Karl is also very kind and easy to work with, we definitely reccomend Karl if anyone is looking for an awesome DJ! :)

Karl did an amazing job at our June 17th wedding! He was flexible, easy-going, and extremely professional. He played our favorite songs all night long and he was very accommodating to our requests. Karl was one of the best decisions of our wedding and multiple people commented to me at the end of the night on how fun and lively our dancing was. Highly recommended.

We had a great experience with Karl from start to finish. Couldn’t have asked for a more friendly, professional, and easy-going vendor to work with.
I was initially a little bit worried about our wedding music because I tend to really dislike some classic dance/party music like Love Shack, YMCA, etc. But after talking to Karl we were sure he had a very good idea of our personalities and music tastes. Our wedding was great & the dance floor was packed, we were extremely pleased with Karl's expertise & professionalism.

Karl was AMAZING! Not only did he create a great vibe for my wedding, but he listened to all of my needs. He created the perfect mix of music to complement my wedding. He was so great that we extended our wedding by another hour just to keep dancing!

Karl was an absolute delight to work with! His personality was great, and he emceed the evening in exactly the style that we asked him to. My husband and I had a traditional Jewish wedding, and Karl was not only knowledgeable about how such weddings are typically conducted, but his repertoire of Israeli and Jewish music was impressive. Most DJ's typically only have a few hora medleys to work with (with tunes that typically aren't associated with weddings), but Karl and his music made the night energetic and authentic.
Before the wedding, we "sat down" with Karl over the phone to talk through our wedding day step by step, and how we wanted each moment to feel. Some music we picked specifically for each moment, but in other cases allowed him to pick what felt right. We gave him a short list of artists to be sure that he did and didn't play (and some genres that we were and weren't fond of), and discussed the level of "chattiness" over the mic that we expected throughout the night.
In the end, our wedding felt exactly the way we had always envisioned it, and our guests have been raving about how comfortable and classy everything felt. Karl was attentive to our needs and desires throughout the day and evening, and worked seamlessly with the catering staff to make sure that everything ran on-time and smoothly. In the end, choosing a DJ - and specifically this DJ - was the right choice when it came to making our wedding vision a reality.
Overall, we would recommend Karl any day to anyone. If you're looking for classy, professional DJ services, KMK is probably exactly what you're looking for. Thanks, Karl!

There are no words to describe the phenomenal service KMK DJ Services provided. Our wedding was in October and to this day our guest are still talking about how awesome our DJ was. There were many that NEVER left the dance floor (maybe a pitstop to eat some dinner :)). Karl catered to our needs and made our wedding everything we wanted it to be AND THEN SOME. You will NOT be disappointed hiring KMK for your events. We look to working with KMK again very soon!

Karl ended up being a great part of our wedding reception. I initially found him when looking for other DJs who had worked at our unique venue, and the moment I reached out to him he was responsive, flexible and eager to work with me. Moreover, we ended up changing our music plans slightly which required more speakers in more places than I anticipated, and Karl was quick to accommodate. In general, he was very easy to work with and made it a point to be reachable whenever we had questions. I highly recommend his services.

As you well know a DJ can make or break an event base on their performance. Our wedding was in great care as Karl music selections complimented the multi cultures that were in attendance. He worked in sync with the our wedding planner keeping the evening on schedule. Having Karl as our DJ was the perfect choice and I look forward working with Karl on other venues.

We could not have asked for a better DJ than Karl. He was attentive, affordable and was able to feel the mood in the room while keeping people dancing. We had quite an eclectic group of attendees at the wedding, but with Karl we never missed a beat. Karl was able to meet all of our unique needs. Every guest, no matter their age, gender or religion came up to use and told us how much they enjoyed the wedding - especially the music. Karl also worked really well with our other vendors, especially our caterer. And his price could not be beat. We could not have asked for a better DJ and strongly recommend him.

What can I say. Karl did an excellent job with our wedding. We were worried when we first started looking for DJs because being a same sex couple you are not sure how someone is going to react. Karl was absolutely great. Before the ceremony and during the reception he constantly checked up with us on when we wanted to do certain things or checking to see if there was something else we wanted to play. The music he picked up was a nice mixture that our guests enjoyed. He played all the songs we had requested before hand to hear. At the end he gave us a CD with all of the songs we had asked to be played. And his prices are a steal. We looked at other DJs who were charging twice as much and I highly doubt they woud have done as great of a job at Karl. Highly highly recommended!!!!

DJ Karl Hunt deejayed our elementary school's daddy/daughter Snowflake Dance for the second year on Feb 8 this year. Both years, his fee was reasonable and a great value for a terrific party. This is not the usual DJ gig... the school-age daughters have a tendency to dump their daddies to run off with their friends, and it takes the right combination of fun-for-all-ages party music and good patter to get the dance floor hopping with the girls AND their dads. Karl provided this, as well as great presentation, timely arrival, no-fuss set-up, a professional manner, and responsiveness to the dance chair's calls and emails. We look forward to having Karl DJ our Snowflake Dance again next year!

Karl was amazing! He really went above and beyond to make sure that everything was perfect and reflected our personalities. It was an indoor/outdoor wedding that took several set-ups which he handled without ever making it seem like it would be an issue. He made it very stress-free for us! Not cheesy and definitely not boring. He was recommended to us by friends and we also HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I can't recommend Karl highly enough for a wedding! Karl was absolutely amazing from the beginning planning stages straight through to the last dance of our wedding night. We had a lot going on at our wedding (mixing a religious Jewish, Israeli, and American wedding all into one!) and Karl made everything work seamlessly! Throughout the night he was attentive to me and my husband, checking in with us and letting us know in advance before he announced each event. After the wedding my sister told me she had been anxious about getting her prepared speech from the bridal suite (it was locked for awhile) and she had spoken to the DJ. 15 minutes before it was time for the toasts he checked in with her to make sure she had been able to get her speech and was ready for the toast - how sweet!! Karl kept the party going and the dance floor full all night - easily transitioning from slow dances to israeli dances to country songs. And to top it off at the end of the night he handed me a mix CD of all of our important songs! Clearly I can't say enough about Karl and KMK DJ services!!

My husband and I were married in June and were fortunate to have Karl as our DJ. He was great! My husband and I choose some songs that were untraditional, and felt a little nervous when we chose a DJ that they might have a hard time accommodating our requests, but Karl not only played all of our songs, he worked them in at times that were appropriate for the mood of each part of the evening. He really did an awesome job and even went above and beyond by helping us keep on track with the schedule of events for the evening. We received many compliments from guests saying how the music seemed to really suit the venue, the mood of the evening, and the different events throughout the night. We couldn't have been happier with Karl's work. We higly recommend him to anyone who is looking for a DJ!

Despite a last-minute change in venue due to an area-wide loss of power, Karl made our daughter's wedding a success. He also put together a brilliant selection of music, which the participants and guests loved - and danced to.

Karl was recommend to us by our caterer and we couldn't have had a better DJ or a better mix of music. He kept the music flowing effortlessly and it was a perfect mix of different styles. Our guests had a fantasitic time and complimented us throught the afternoon about the quality of the music. We will definitely use Karl again for our younger daughter's Bat Mitzvah. Great sound!!

Karl made sure "My Day" went "My Way"! He had everyone dancing from my grandparents to all my friends. He kept us on track without being intrusive and was very flexible when I had some last minute requests to make sure they got done. I highly recommend him.

Working with Karl was great. He was so helpful with giving me ideas to plan our music out, and he's great at keeping you organized and on track. He came highly recommended by a friend of ours, and we were not disappointed! Great prices, great value and great attitude!

This Dj was amazing....truly a professional.....Extremely personable and kept the party going all night. Would definelty hire him again.

Karl Hunt was an amazing DJ. I had certain songs that were must plays and he made sure to play them. I felt as if Karl looked at the must plays and centered his set around them. Long story short every seat was empty because no one left the dance floor. I can not thank Karl Hunt enough for the amazing job he did.

Karl delivers exceptional service to a multi-cultural wedding once again!!!

Where shall we start? Karl was so friendly, a great communicator but beyond that an even better listener! He truly took the time to understand what we would like and did a fantastic job in bringing it all together.

I am Kenyan, and my husband is American and the cultural nuances we wanted around the ceremony and reception were exexcuted flawlessly!

My relatives danced to American music, local Kenyan music in Swahili and even traditional Luo music from my native Luo tribe, all of which Karl mixed in so well! Until today some of my guests from Kenya are still raving about our DJ!

As if this wasn't enough, Karl was by far the most affordable DJ in Maryland, hands down, check out his pricing and quote me on this! It is value for money, He is a seasoned professional in this space, very flexible around meeting times, and hiring him will give you peace of mind and an awesome event!!

Karl was a great DJ and I would recommend him to anyone! He was very easy to work with and was flexible with last minute changes that we had. Karl kept us on schedule throughout the night and was very attentive to our needs and wants. Our guests raved about the music and were out on the dance floor all night having a great time! I do not have a negative comment about Karl and would use him again for other events.
