Working with Klaire was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. From the moment we met her, she felt like a friend—warm, genuine, and incredibly easy to be around. The key word for our wedding was "organic," and she captured that feeling in the most remarkable way. Every photo looks natural, effortless, and truly represents “us.” Each one is stunning, and I couldn't be happier.
On the day of the wedding, she brought a calming presence, which meant everything to me because I’m not naturally comfortable in front of a camera. I shared this with her early on, and she was respectful and intuitive; she never pushed me into anything that didn’t feel natural.
I will absolutely reach out to Klaire for any future life events I want photographed. She is exceptional at what she does and an even more exceptional person to have by your side on such an important day. -

Klaire was truly the wedding photographer of our dreams! From the moment we met her, she was incredibly easy to work with, making us feel completely at ease throughout the entire process. On our wedding day, we faced unexpected challenges—a car hit our wedding bus, and it poured rain—but Klaire remained calm and composed, capturing every special moment beautifully.
Her ability to adapt to the chaos was remarkable, and her keen eye ensured that no precious detail was missed. We frequently find ourselves looking back at our photos in awe of the emotions and memories she captured. Each image tells a story, and we are so grateful for the magic she created on our special day. We cannot recommend Klaire highly enough!

Two Words: Hire Klaire!
Klaire shot our October 2023 wedding in Washington DC, and we could not have asked for a better experience. From the beginning, Klaire was critical in executing our vision, as she brainstormed locations for photographs before the ceremony and helped flesh out a detailed timeline to ensure we got all the pictures we wanted. Day of, Klaire provided excellent direction and scouted out amazing backgrounds for portraits, which resulted in gorgeous pictures of the bridal party and our family (including our four year old Golden Doodle, with whom Klaire was especially great!). Klaire also took phenomenal photographs at the wedding itself, making sure to capture key moments at the ceremony and the energy of the dance floor at the reception. My husband and I are in love with the photographs she took, and we've had so many compliments from our guests who have viewed them.
In addition to capturing beautiful photographs, Klaire was an absolute pleasure to work with. She was professional, kind, and creative throughout the planning process and on the day of the wedding. She was also quick on her feet and able to adapt to any situation if something unexpected came up. Moreover, my husband and I were amazed at how quickly Klaire was able to get us our photographs, even providing us with an iPad of some sneak peak shots while we enjoyed dinner at our reception. We would highly recommend Klaire to anyone and plan to use her for all of our photography needs going forward! -

Klaire was SUCH a joy to work with for our wedding and engagement photos. We wanted someone who understood our vision, created clean and crisp photos and Klaire was our girl for the job. We were lucky enough to discover Klaire through a friend, which was an added bonus, because we knew we could trust her and would feel comfortable from the start. Klaire was always available for questions and bouncing ideas off of her leading up to our wedding. Highly recommend Klaire Dixius Photography! -

Klaire was fantastic to work with. She was so quick and easy to communicate with to plan, super thorough with her questions, and really worked to get to know us. Her photo style is outstanding - she did a great job capturing the joy and natural connection between my husband and I without anything feeling or looking forced. She has an awesome eye for detail and really highlighted all of the special details we added!
Last but not least, she was PROMPT. We had sneak peeks DURING THE RECEPTION (my mind was blown) and got our final gallery very shortly thereafter. And she didn’t compromise on quality with that speed.
Thank you for making our day amazing Klaire! I don’t even know how we are going to narrow down for an album! -

I want to start this off by saying I'm not someone that will take the time to write a glowing review just for the sake of doing so. I genuinely loved working with Klaire, and mean every word.
Klaire was an absolute pleasure to work with. From the time I reached out through receiving our photos - she has been responsive, clear, helpful, and professional with all of her communication. She is also incredibly fast. We had maternity photos taken on a Thursday evening, and Klaire had them ready the following Tuesday (about 4-5 day turnaround)...over a holiday weekend, when she also was attending weddings. We were absolutely shocked.
Most importantly, Klaire's photography style is stunning. If you want light, bright, clear, classy, timeless photos...look no further. I personally love how Klaire captures the moment, and just adds a little magic to make it brighter/enhanced. It doesn't leave me feeling like it was different than my memory of the moment (no heavy filters) - I can look back at it exactly how it was. My favorite part of our session was after we wrapped...we were about to say goodbye and Klaire said "oh my gosh - the lighting...stop! we need to take some pictures here". And they ended up being some of our absolute favorites from the entire session!!! She is incredibly talented, it's amazing to meet someone so clearly doing what they were born to do.
Lastly, Klaire is a joy to work with. She is sweet and warm, like you're talking to a friend you've known for a long time. She makes you feel comfortable and at ease - which is really key if you're not used to having pictures taken, knowing what poses are best. etc.
I am already getting messages from friends about Klaire and recommending her to anyone who asks! -

We are so grateful to have worked with Klaire!! From the time we took our first phone call with her, my husband and I felt like we were talking to a friend. We are not naturally comfortable getting our pictures taken, but Klaire made us feel comfortable and gave us just enough direction to make sure our photos looked the way we wanted them to. On the night of the wedding, she even put an iPad down on our table with a few ceremony pictures that she'd already edited and a QR code to access them and share with friends! We were completely blown away with her work, and I've had so many friends and family members tell me that they wish they'd worked with Klaire for their wedding! I wholeheartedly recommend working with her, and am so grateful that she captured our day so beautifully! -

KLAIRE IS THE BEST!! When searching for a photographer, I loved how bright her photos were and now much natural light was utilized- her work felt bright and happy. When talking to here on the phone for the first time, it felt as though I was talking to a friend- her personality is also bright and happy! Our engagement session with her was so amazing- she made my husband and I feel so comfortable in front of the camera! She told us to give her 2 weeks to get all of our engagement photos back, and then surprised us with an email only 3 days later saying our album was ready! We were blown away by the timeliness and how amazing the photos were!
She was quick to respond with any correspondences we had leading up to our big day. On the day of our wedding, she arrived on time (even a bit early) and was so positive and uplifting the whole day! She again made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera. The best surprise of all was right when we sat down to eat dinner at our wedding reception, she handed us an iPad with our sneak preview pictures that she had already put together!! Like whatttt?!?! She had about 25 pictures already in an album and a QR code we could share with our guests for them to view was well! How amazing! She is so friendly, professional, and kind to work with. We came home a few days after our wedding to a package at our door and it was a canvas print of one of our favorite wedding photos! Klaire truly goes above and beyond to ensure her client's needs are met (and exceeded), and we feel so fortunate to have had her photograph our big day! We look forward to continuing this journey with her when we are ready for maternity/family portraits in the future!! THANK YOU, KLAIRE!! -

Timeless, beautiful and glamorous photos we adore!
Klaire was an incredible photographer for our engagement photos and wedding! Truly, she captured every special moment that look like something out of a fairytale. She (and her wonderful assistant) were also a joy to work with and she was a true friend throughout the entire process. We decided to not go with a videographer because Klaire’s photos capture all the beautiful movement of a ceremony and reception, the small moments between guests, and all the detail shots. Our nighttime photos are also all gorgeous with perfect lighting! Thank you, Klaire, we adored working with you and can’t wait until we can work together again for future special moments as we grow our family. -

Working with Klaire was a dream. We originally contracted with her for our 2020 wedding, and she was incredibly understanding and easy to work with when we needed to postpone to 2021. She is easygoing and warm, yet professional -- from our initial outreach to our wedding day, every interaction felt individualized and tailored to us as a couple. She was also super responsive every time we had a question and is shockingly quick at turning photos around. Seriously, she came up to us at dinner with sneak peeks and then shared our full wedding album within a month, even during this super busy wedding season that is fall 2021. Truly, we could not have asked for a better experience, and I know I will reach out to Klaire for anything we want to do in the future. -

First and foremost, Klaire is an incredibly kind and gracious person. She was an absolute joy during our engagement session and throughout our wedding day. If there is one thing I could sum up about our wedding photos it's this: Your wedding photos will be cherished for generations, and Klaire's photography will forever be classic. So many photographers use so many filters that will not hold up after 10 years let alone 50, and Klaire's film/digital hybrid style will withstand for generations. The colors she edits in are so gorgeous, I will forever remember our day in the most vivid way. We will always be grateful for what Klaire has done for us!! -

For our wedding day, photography was the second most important vendor decision for us (venue being first), and we are so happy with our decision to hire Klaire. She's a talented, efficient, flexible, patient, and positive photographer and a great person in general! In lieu of an engagement session, Klaire was happy to photograph our small church ceremony in addition to our larger wedding reception. She was so great at rolling with the punches and definitely the easiest vendor we worked with. Now that we've received our full wedding gallery, honestly every single one of the 1500 photos looks like a work of art. Klaire does an amazing job and she was an important part of our vendor team! -

We hired Klaire as our wedding photographer, and she delivered absolutely exceptional service on our wedding day! Klaire and her partner were fantastic, taking the time to respond to our photo requests while also being creative and taking pictures they knew would look great. Our sneak peek photos are beautiful, and I can't wait to see the rest. Klaire is so warm and kind, and working with her was truly a delight. We are so pleased that we chose Klaire to document such a special day in our lives! There are so many wonderful things to say. Klaire was extremely efficient throughout the entire day, which was great to keep things moving and she made sure to get us back in the AC as soon as possible, which was great on our hot July wedding day! She was extremely timely getting our wedding photos back to us, which was wonderful! One thing that we really loved, was at dinner, Klaire brought over an iPad with 15 "sneak peek" images-- it was so unexpected and awesome to see some images from earlier in the day! I'm so thankful we will have these photos to treasure for the rest of our lives. -

Words can not do justice the beautiful work of Klaire Dixius! From the moment I reached out to Klaire, she was kind, responsive and brimming with creativity. She inspired us to do an in-home engagement session which allowed us to be more comfortable while being the subjects of a photo shoot. I will cherish those photos as they're a reminder of that time of our lives in our newly-shared home. However, nothing can compare to our wedding photos, which are truly magical. I am still BLOWN AWAY and I'm able to relive the best day of our lives each and every time I look at them. Her use of film in addition to a digital camera was one of the main reasons I wanted to work with Klaire, and the images DID NOT DISAPPOINT. The vibrant colors with film just can't be replicated on digital and I'm so glad she took the time to incorporate that into our photography. Truly, if you are looking for a wonderful person who will ensure your day is captured in the most beautiful way, Klaire is your best and only choice! -
