Loved my hair and makeup!!
Dakiyah did an amazing job with hair and makeup for my wedding! I have super fine hair and she was able to get it to where it held the entire day. My makeup was perfect and exactly what I wanted. She was so open to trying different things during the trial to get it exactly how I was envisioning it all. My bridesmaids looked beautiful and enjoyed her as well! She is very responsive and extremely reasonably priced! I highly recommend her!! -

You have to hire her !! From the beginning I knew KK weddings was different because how quick the responded and how professional Dakiyah was. She has everything you needed to make a decision and her prices are extremely fair and honestly she could charge more for how amazing it was. She followed up with me leading up to the wedding and showed up with her team ready to go. I had a bridal park of 9 women and myself her and and the team worked fast but never lacking in detail. My friends would get their makeup done and I would stare at them because of how amazing they looked ! They all have an individual look that worked with their face but had the same feel all around. When it was my turn I was nervous because I hadn’t done a trial run of hair and make up. She reassured me it be amazing and when you’re with her you feel that she is truly going to take care of you. She never once rushed me as the bride or moved too fast. Legit artist. Let me tell you….when I saw my face…I couldn’t not stop smiling. I mean I was glowing !!! I normally don’t wear a lot of make up but I was stunning!!! She understood my face shape and gave me a look that enhanced my beauty! She took pics and made fun videos along the way and my whole bridal party loved her and her team! My biggest fear was that I wouldn’t feel pretty on my wedding day. But I was called an angel and breathtaking all night. My friends all felt confident and my mother in law was glowing !!! Ugh. I can’t say enough. You have to hire her if you want to feel your absolute best with make up and hair !! Thank you again! I’ll never forget it! -

She is amazing!
Our make up lasted all night! She is personable, great energy and EXCELLENT in her craft! All of the bridal party was so happy. We are of various ethnicities and she made looks for everyone! -

Dakiyah glammed me and my mom for a family wedding. She was very responsive since the day I inquired - this was something which I appreciated the most since I had contacted numerous make up artists prior and experienced poor responsiveness from the majority. She was willing to come a little early to get started for our early morning wedding. She was super friendly during the makeup process, she explained what look she was doing, and she gave us both a beautiful look appropriate for the event. Everyone was complimenting our makeup looks and how well it looked on our Pakistani outfits and skin tone! Not only did she just work with us both but was kind to help my cousin with fixing her hair and doing touch ups on my grandma :) I can’t get over how happy I was with my look! -

It's not my nature to leave bad reviews, but I want other Indian brides to learn from my experience, as I saw lots of positive reviews and had no concerns booking them without a trial. Once I had booked and paid the deposit, I scheduled a hair and makeup trial.
It started with poor communication and ended in tears on my end. I did not like my makeup look at all; my skin texture looked the worst it ever had despite me not having much acne, my face was so many different colors, the eye makeup made me look much older, and the lips were very wrinkled. When I did point out specific things, I was swiftly shot down, saying that it was my fault it looked that way and that it was because I wasn't used to heavier makeup. For example, I felt my face did not match the rest of my body, and was told it was just because I had so much discoloration on my face! This isn't true, I've been able to match my face to my body before with just medium coverage foundation. The atmosphere felt defensive and combative and I left in tears and had the makeup removed before I left. We scheduled a follow-up call as I was still willing to do a second trial and even willing to pay for it on top of my deposit, as I thought I must have done something wrong. The follow-up call was a disaster where both artists took turns accusing me of why things had gone wrong, admitting they didn't think the makeup turned out well from the trial, although during the trial itself, they acted like I was just seeing things that weren't there. I decided not to go with these artists as I was left in tears again after the follow-up call. Although their contract did not specify the deposit was nonrefundable they flatly refused to refund me anything and I was left $1500 short and ended up having to do my own makeup for my wedding.
I was able to do my own makeup successfully, but having to switch to that 2 weeks before the wedding I'd planned for 1.5 years was stressful to say the least. No other vendors in the entirety of my wedding made me cry.
