Absolutely recommend Kiss the Bride for your videography needs!!! Not only are they absolutely lovely people (shout out Alwyn!) but they are super accommodating and very talented. I immediately trusted them the day of and they worked really well with our photographer. They also allow two edits on your video which is awesome and everything turned out beautiful! Happy we chose them to capture the memories of our day! They were also incredibly affordable in my opinion compared to other vendors so if you're debating a videographer they could be a great choice. -

We are in love with Kiss The Bride Films. They were a joy to work with and created stunning videos of our wedding that we will cherish for life time.
When we first spoke to Alwyn she had a warm and calm disposition. It was abundantly clear that she loved her craft. She told us about Kiss the Bride’s process and the different packages and was by no means pushy to book them right away. Alwyn’s disposition and passion for film made Kiss the Bride an easy choice for our wedding. On our wedding day, Alwyn and her team showed up right on time and worked seamlessly with our photographer to the point that many people weren’t aware that we even had cinematographers at the wedding. The whole team was warm and gracious through a busy morning and the hustle of the wedding day. As well, they were the utmost professionals throughout the entire event.
We received our highlights video and documentary a little over a month after the wedding and we were blown away. They made us feel like we were right back at the wedding and we saw so many perspectives and parts of the night that we missed. The music was perfectly curated, the chosen footage beautiful, and the feeling was exactly what we hoped for… love and happiness documented for our memory. I shared the highlights video with friends who all said it gave them chills, made them tear up, and our wedding florist even said that it perfectly captured the elegant, romantic and loving vibe of the night.
Before booking a cinematographer we were on the fence if we needed one for our wedding. If you are on the fence too, book Kiss the Bride, they will blow you away with their beautiful work and you will have a beautiful and momentous memory recorded to last you a lifetime.

The KTBF team were a joy to work with, and the film they created was exactly what we were looking for. My husband and I indicated what our preferences were in terms of filmography style based on the examples they have available on their website (and other examples they shared upon request), and they were able to understand our vision and translate it beautifully into the finished product. We really appreciated that the KTBF team has a wide range of artistic styles they can offer, which resulted in a tailor-made product that reflected our personalities. The client service was also top-notch. They provided detailed guidance during the planning process as well as during the day of the wedding, so we could rest easy knowing that we were in capable hands and fully enjoy the wedding. -

We were COMPLETELY blown away by our highlight video and full length video. The highlight video in particular perfectly captured the key moments of the night and the overall vibe and energy. We have loved watching it and re-living the feelings from a night we will never forget! We can't thank Kiss the Bride enough - it was honestly one of the best decisions we made overall during our wedding planning. -
Kennedy Sent on 10/15/2017Alwyn Carrier filmed my wedding and I could not have been happier with her. She is not just extremely talented, she is a veritable miracle worker. She worked tirelessly to make sure that my wedding went perfectly, even beyond the beautiful film she created. She is basically the definition of an “above and beyond” person. Alwyn was able to effortlessly capture the love that my husband and I have for each other on film. Tbh at first I wasn’t so sure if I wanted a wedding video in addition to a photographer, but I am SO GLAD did bc my wedding video is literally my most prized possession now! When I watch it, it takes me right back to my wedding day, which is something that the pictures can’t do. I truly can’t recommend Alwyn and her company highly enough!!

They were professional, fun, courteous and created such a special memory we can not thank them enough. Throughout the whole day they were as discreet as possible and only asked for certain shots during appropriate times (during family photos, etc.). The guests also commented how they never really noticed them filming. Kiss the Brides Films are not only videographers, but more artists that notice the smallest details from a bee flying around a flower to the pearls on the bride's bracelet. While watching our highlight reel and finished video, we felt as though we were not only re-living every moment, but guests at our own wedding. The videographers listened to us, got to know us and created a beautiful piece of memory that is so customized with songs, decorations, etc. one could never mistake it for anyone else's. There is no comparison of the quality and the caliber of work that Kiss the Brides produces, we recommend them to any engaged couple. We wish them the best of luck and success! -

Jenny Sent on 03/10/2014This is a highly professional and extremely creative team. My husband and I were amazing. Not only did they show up early and stay late, they accommodated for my last-minute timing changes just a couple days before the wedding. Our crew was great -- guests loved them and we enjoyed filming with them.
Our short film and full-length film are both absolutely beautiful. Pure magic. I have never seen wedding videos like these before! They're just breathtaking. I've had people I barely know contact me via Facebook and my blog to gush about the beautiful video. I can't wait to watch more generations of family and friends enjoy this precious video in years to come.

Danielle Sent on 12/27/2012If your photographer is THE most important vendor, then your videographer has to be your second. Originally we did not think to have one and did not have the budget for one. So unlike most of our vendors we booked with them a little later in the game. I found them through our photographer when I asked for recommendations. So I checked them out on vimeo and was very impressed. I contacted Leslie and she gave me a call and was able to get us in. I also found a few videographers through the girls at LIweddings. They were all very affordable and great, but being as it was closer to the wedding they were all booked! (Get your vendors early ladies!)
Kiss the Bride Films was awesome! They were easy to work with throughout AND on the day of. The week of the wedding was so stressful with money and we ended up coming up short. So I spoke to them and they accommodated us and was able to downgrade us to raw footage only. Thank God, because we were going literally insane trying to find ways to finalize everything. I'm so glad we booked with them and can't wait to see all the footage. I'm sure there are a million moments I don't remember and it'll be great to see everything and be able to travel back into time to our wedding day through film. -

Kristine Sent on 03/02/2011Initially, my husband and I weren't planning on hiring a videographer for our wedding. Since my husband is a photographer, we had decided early on that our wedding photography would be a top priority in terms of quality and budget. Aside from that, there is definitely a bit of a negative connotation when it comes to wedding videos - soft lighting and cheesy music is not how I wanted my wedding remembered. As for my husband, in his professional experience he felt strongly that video operators just got in the way of still photographers. So why would we spend so much money on quality photographers just to have their job potentially botched by an incompetent videographer?
But my mom was insistent on hiring one, arguing that she wanted every moment of the day captured both visually *and* auditorily so that we could watch and relive it for years to come. Video could document the day in a way that photos couldn't. She had a point. She also had the pocketbook. And while my husband still felt strongly against having one, I wondered if not hiring one would be something we'd later regret. Besides, some battles are just not worth fighting (a lesson to be learned for all soon-to-be-newlyweds).
So I scoured the web looking for suitable and reasonably priced videographers. Little did I know that there's a whole new subgenre of wedding videography known as wedding "cinematography". These wedding cinematographers were also not fans of the stereotypical wedding video - they wanted to capture your wedding day artistically and unobtrusively (wedding videojournalism, if you will). No huge honking video cameras in my face, but instead a compact DSLR? No garish lighting and unidentifiable muzak? And they can make any wedding couple look like the stars of their very own awesomely sweet music video? Bingo!
With only a couple months left to go before our wedding, and a quickly dwindling budget, I knew our choices would be limited. But luckily I found Leslie Satterfield of Kiss the Bride Films. She sent me her pricing information, which detailed a small variety of packages starting at $1900 for 6 hours and going up to $3200 for 12 hours and two cinematographers. And all packages include 3 DVDs containing your documentary reel (anywhere from 45-90 mins, depending on your package) and 3-5 minute highlight reel (aforementioned "awesomely sweet music video" with your song choice), and you can request to have all the raw footage, as long as you provide a hard drive. Better yet, we were able to negotiate a lower price and reasonable overtime fee.
The day of the wedding, she was on time and ready to go. She basically followed the lead of our two wedding photographers, which is exactly what we wanted. Most of the time, I forgot she was even there, which meant I didn't have to feel self-conscious about having my video shot. And since our wedding photographers couldn't be everywhere all at once, she got to film things that even we missed (and the day goes by so quickly that you feel like you miss a lot!). We were pleased with her wedding day performance - she was nice, professional and unobstrusive.
In two and a half months' time, she sent us our highlight reel, which we absolutely loved. It was so sweet and captured lots of great little moments in only four short minutes. I couldn't wait to share it with all my friends and family, who also raved about it. She ended up using the song we chose for our cake cutting ceremony, but when I requested an alternate version with another song, she gladly and promptly put it together. Within three months, we had our complete wedding dvds in our mailbox. We were really impressed with her speed and professionalism. Throughout our three months of doing business with her, she was always easy to communicate with and prompt in responding to emails.
Now comes my not-so-dirty little secret. After a month of having the video in my possession, I still have not watched it. (My mom has, of course - she watched it the first night and loved it!) But I still have it pretty clearly in my head how the whole day unfolded...I have my rose-colored memories, if you will. And watching the video might change how I remember the day. So for now, I'm going to hold onto the memories of that day exactly as I remember it...and when I want to watch it and relive it from an outsider's perspective, I know I'll have an awesomely sweet video waiting for me.
