Amazing photography!

Kirsten Wray goes above and beyond every single time I’ve worked with her. Kirsten made my wedding day one I will never forget! She made me feel like a princess and working with her was an absolute dream from start to finish. Kirsten captured every special moment—walking down the aisle, first looks with my dad and husband, detail shots, first looks with my bridesmaids, and our parents opening their gifts. On our wedding day, she and her assistant Jovan were our biggest cheerleaders and made us feel so special. They made everyone—from our 97-year-old grandma to the toddlers—feel completely comfortable in front of the camera. Together, they captured the joy, emotion, and little details we never want to forget.
The photos are absolutely stunning. From the emotional moments to the smallest details we worked so hard on, everything was captured beautifully. I know I’ll treasure these photos for the rest of my life. Kirsten’s professionalism, creativity, and eye for detail are unmatched.

Fantastic!! Can't go wrong with Kirsten Wray.
My husband and I hired Kirsten for our wedding, and it was absolutely WONDERFUL! From start to finish, fantastic. From the engagement session to planning the wedding day and the actual day itself, AWESOME! Kristen was always prompt with responses, has a helpful website and planning form. She even suggested a great park for our engagement session, which was PERFECT! Engagement and wedding photos turned out wonderful (my husband and I don't like photo taking, and I'm super critical of how I look in photos).
But beyond all that, she and Jovan, her second shooter for the day of the wedding, had great presence and were wonderful support on the day. They were chill while being efficient, and perfectly balanced being fun with getting business done. They were both great at working with family members when it came to that time at the wedding, and they both helped everyone feel relaxed and natural. 100% would recommend!

Fantastic Photography Team!
Kirsten and her team did an AMAZING job with our wedding photos and everything leading up to our big day! We had an initial call with Kirsten where she got to know us and our vision and walked us through her process, packages, etc. From that initial conversation we knew she was who we wanted to work with as she had such an infectiously positive and helpful attitude and clearly really wanted to get to know us and what was important to us!
For our engagement photos, we mentioned we wanted to do something that featured downtown Indy but also were interested in some more nature-based photos and she immediately suggested the Canal and White River State Park which were PERFECT! We had so much fun that day and she really made us feel comfortable, not to mention the photos are beautiful!
We had a couple of planning sessions over the phone with her between then and the wedding to make sure she and the team knew what we wanted and had a plan in place to execute the day.
On our actual wedding day, two of Kirsten's associates - Cassy and Jovan - shot our day as Kirsten had another wedding. We LOVED both of them!!!! Like Kirsten, they were so easy to work with, were great at hyping us up so we felt so comfortable, and were SO impressive when it came to wrangling large groups of people haha. They also had such good vision and got some super fun photos that we never would have even thought of!
We're eagerly awaiting our full catalog of photos, but the team turned around a preview of almost 150 photos in literally 5 days which was so so impressive! And we LOVE them!!!! They are absolutely gorgeous and everything we could have wanted.
As a whole, we can't recommend Kirsten and her team more - the quality of the end product and the people themselves is top notch. Thank you so much Kirsten, Cassy, and Jovan! We'll forever be grateful to you!

Kirsten is the best! She is kind, energetic, and seems truly passionate about her work. She was organized and quick to respond to messages as well as flexible with meeting dates and times. Kirsten was amazing for our wedding!! She was so great leading up to the wedding, we had multiple phone calls and she was easy to communicate with. Sanders summer wedding 2022
I have so many great things to say about Kirsten and her staff! First, she did an AMAZING job for our engagement photos! We absolutely had a ball and Kirsten was able to give me what I like to call a “double photo shoot” as we were able to get both seasons I wanted (fall and winter) in one shoot with her perfect timing/ scheduling! Those pictures are absolutely beautiful and we have gotten so many compliments!
Onto our wedding- we were married July 23, 2022. Kirsten had two photographers- Kelly and Jaclyn- take pictures for our special day. They were so sweet and took STUNNING photos that I would never in a million years think of doing! They took everything that I asked into consideration and made my ideas even better! They were so professional and fun and really helped make the day run so smoothly…. Kirsten really does have amazing staff and if you are thinking about hiring her services, I recommended 11/10! Glamorous, fun wedding photography!
As a big fan of photography and an amateur photographer myself, I was really picky about the vision I wanted for our wedding photography, so I Googled “best wedding photographers in Indianapolis” and that’s where I found Kirsten Wray’s page, which matched my vision perfectly for bright, glamorous photos. She was extremely friendly and great at responding to my many emails and even greater during our engagement shoot and wedding. I cannot thank Kirsten enough for capturing our big day!!
I am so grateful that we picked Kirsten to be our wedding photographer!! Kirsten photographed my cousins weddings and our family pictures, so I knew she would be the perfect person to capture my big day. Below are a few reasons why I highly recommend picking Kirsten to be the photographer for your big day!
First, Kirsten includes an engagement shoot with the wedding cost which was fun - we got to pick the place which I really liked (we picked Butler University because both of us went there).
Second, something that really stands out to me about Kirsten is she makes an effort to know people's names - I think this is really special and just shows how much she cares about making everyone feel special and involved in the photos.
Third (and probably most important for me because I stress out if I'm not organized), a few months before our wedding we met up and she laid out the whole day of timeline for us based on photos - I highly recommend doing this with Kirsten early because then you know when you need to be ready, etc. It was extremely helpful and we were able to stick to the timeline she created the whole day - she really knows what she is doing!! We did a first look and then most of our bridal party and immediate family pictures prior to the ceremony and Kirsten did a great job managing all of that - keeping us on track time wise - and not making it a long process. After the ceremony we did extended family pictures and we were able to even join in on the cocktail hour because Kirsten is so great at keeping track of time and being efficient with the photos that are taken. She is efficient, but I never felt rushed!
Fourth, it was also great having her expertise on what pictures to take - she would make sure we looked good in the pictures and didn't just let things go. For example, a couple times she had said to us "Yeah you're not going to like this picture - tilt your head more!" or "the lighting isn't great here - we should do pictures over there now and here later".
Fifth, within a week of the wedding we got a preview with about 230 of our wedding pictures - it was so exciting to see them so soon and I cannot wait to see the rest of them!! I love all of them so far!
I highly recommend Kirsten for capturing your big day, she made it so much fun, had a great attitude the whole time, made all of us laugh, and even kept the guys engaged in the photos (which I know can be hard to do with some guys). I'm looking forward to having Kirsten capture more of the big events in our life!

Kirsten along with her husband made an awesome team for our wedding in Jamaica. She took the stress out of our wedding. I wouldn't have wanted any other photographer at our wedding and she did a great job on our engagement photos as well. LOVE Kirsten & her team!!
Kirsten was our wedding photographer for our small wedding ceremony (during covid - 2020) and our rescheduled larger reception in 2021. NYE Wedding
OH MY WORD! Kirsten went above and beyond our expectations!!! We had a New Years Eve wedding, which meant that the sun set early (who knew! ha!). I was SO THANKFUL to have Kirsten on our team. She was the only photographer we interviewed that mentioned that fact, but because of that, it influenced our whole day. We loved her portfolio of clean, light, and classic pictures. Her communication, portfolio, and knowledge of photography in winter is why we chose to go with her.
It was a whole day event and Kirsten and her co-photographer were there to capture all of the special moments, from both of us getting ready with our bridal parties, first looks with my dad and my groom, to the balloon drop at midnight. She was able to make us laugh to be comfortable, which is important because after an hour of pictures, your smile turns pretty fake! She would always let us know when that was happening.
Due to the amazing weather for NYE, we were able to take night shots at the canal and with the city skyline that are absolutely decadent!!! Our day was a mixture of indoor and outdoor pictures - all of which are gorgeous. Are venue, 416 Wabash, is a completely dark venue with a light up dance floor and different color lights everywhere. All of the pictures perfectly encapsulate our evening!!! She did an amazing job going from different lighting. Needless to say, I am obsessed.

Kirsten is absolutely amazing and I would recommend her for any type of photoshoot. She did my engagement and wedding photos as well as a boudoir session. She made me feel so comfortable and confident through each one! We also had a blast during the whole wedding day. Everything felt very natural and she was great at keeping to the schedule. She made sure we had time to do all of the photos as well as enjoy as much of the cocktail hour as we could. Not to mention, the photos are absolutely stunning and captured so many wonderful moments!! She got the preview photos out to me in only a week, which I thought was so fast. Kirsten was so fun to work with during our engagement photo shoot! Even though the weather was a little uncooperative, she managed to capture beautiful shots. And, she was very accommodating and flexible with her availability! She's professional yet also very approachable and easy-going. So, if even if you're not used to posing for pictures, her knowledge, creativity, and fun personality makes the whole experience feel more natural. And, if you do have photo ideas in mind, she's a great listener and delivers! Our wedding photos are stunning! Everything about my experience with Kirsten was top-notch. Not only is she an amazing photographer, she is also a wonderful human to plan with and to have around on your wedding day.
Kirsten and her assistant Kaylie photographed my wedding on November 2 at the Indianapolis Central Library. What I loved most about Kirsten is how comfortable she made my now husband and I feel throughout the entire day. Usually I dread taking pictures at family gatherings or other people's weddings, but Kirsten made it fun and easy. She guides you effortlessly into poses you would never think to do yourself, and the results are fantastic.
We made a plan for the day together before, and it all went off without a hitch thanks to her professionalism and expertise. I can't thank you enough for playing such a crucial role in our perfect day, Kirsten! I can't wait to see all of the pictures and re-live the day through your work.

Kirsten is absolutely amazing! When my now husband and I came across her pictures on the internet we immediately reached out to see if she was available. We love color and nature and wanted a photographer who could capture the vibrant colors of the world. She does just that! She has great pricing for her packages and she gives you so much in each photography package that she offers. She is quick to respond and answered all the questions we had. My now husband and I moved to Phoenix, Arizona shortly after we got engaged and Kirsten was willing to work with the time difference and our schedule on when we could fly in for not only our engagement photos but for our wedding as well. I know I had to change our engagement session several times and she was so nice about switching it in order to accommodate our crazy schedule since we were planning our wedding from out of town. When we did our engagement session rain was in the forecast and I desperately wanted outdoor photos and she still made it work! She found the best indoor spot and when the rain let up for a bit she took us outside so I could have the outdoor photos I really wanted. She was so amazing and accommodating. She is so sweet and knows her craft and has it down to an art. She knows how to perfectly tilt your head and sees all the details like hairs out of place or clothing falling weird. We are so so happy with our photos. Kirsten was amazing on our wedding day and gave us more then we could have ever asked for! I highly recommend hiring her for your wedding. You will get beautiful photos and she has the best personality:)

While Kirsten was booked for our wedding day, we used her associate Cassie. Kirsten set up all of the meetings before hand and went through details with us and we were not able to meet Cassie beforehand. When Cassie showed up at the venue, she blew me away with her professionalism and friendliness. She got to work right away shooting little details then spent time with the groom's side and then the bride's side. She made everything so comfortable and easy going. We really didn't have any specifics we wanted and just let her handle the day/night. Highly recommend Cassie and Kirsten!

Kirsten and Debbie were our photographers on our wedding day and we couldn’t have been happier! Kirsten listened to every request we had, was personable, fun, and guided us throughout the day. Kirsten Wray is amazing! Since when we first met her for our engagement shoot, she has always made us feel so comfortable and made the whole experience more fun. She was so helpful with all of the details leading up to the wedding day - she is super experienced and great at what she does and it really shows. On the big day she was absolutely essential. We had awful weather, and she really eased our minds with finding places for photos, making everything go smoothly, and taking incredible photos! I don't know what I would have done without her. Kirsten is amazing! We are so grateful our good friends recommended her as our photographer. She has wedding photography down to an art. Even in 95 degree heat she kept our wedding party laughing and looking good. We had the best time taking photos with her and her assistant. Kirsten helped us choose the best locations downtown, and knew where we would get cool and unique photos. She came early to capture our getting ready pictures and was there late into the night. If you’re looking for a wedding photographer then look no further than Kirsten & her assistant Kelly! They traveled to Mexico for our destination wedding & they absolutely killed it from beginning to end. They were professional, on time, enthusiastic and made taking photos a blast! Not to mention they were a big hit with the kids! Kirsten also suggested taking photos at our rehearsal dinner and welcome cocktail party so we have more memories to share with our friends & family, which was a great idea! Kirsten was truly amazing! I live in Los Angles and I got married in Indianapolis. Kristen made it seem like she was right around the corner. She's very down to earth and straightforward. I like that in a person. Between the groomsmen, bridesmaids, flower girls and ring bearers we had 21 people and she was able to make sure everyone stayed together for photos. If I needed to get a hold of her at anytime regarding the wedding I would immediately hear from her. Like most weddings you plan and plan expecting it to go that way but it ends up going differently than planned; she was able to go with the flow and make it go smoothly.

We absolutely loved working with Kirsten! From the very beginning when we were looking for a photographer, she was the only one that responded within the same day (and it was a weekend)! She was very flexible in planning our engagement session, as I wanted these certain trees to be in bloom at our location. She made it happen! Kirsten was great at keeping us laughing and had so many great ideas for posing and different backdrops! We were so pleased with all of our engagement pictures! For the wedding, she was amazing. She met with me ~6-8 weeks before the wedding to go over the day of timeline and completely put me at ease! She knows her stuff and knows exactly how long everything will take. I've used her for two events (my wedding and newborn pictures) and both times she made me feel as though my event was the only one that existed on her calendar. I couldn't have asked for a more fabulous photographer. Her team worked with my wedding party to get all the shots we wanted/needed in a very short amount of time. Great flexibility when my 2 yr old was sick and we had to reschedule. Had to reschedule again because it was a heat advisory day with the temp being over 100 degrees and photos were to be taken outside. When we finally were able to meet to take the photos, my 2 year old was in a mood and after an hour of unsuccessful attempts at getting a single picture of a smile, we decided to reschedule yet again. On our final attempt, we got tons of beautiful pictures. Even though my husband and I were discouraged and frustrated with my daughter's attitude, Kristen maintained a positive attitude the entire time and never lost patience. I would recommend her to anyone for any event!

Kirsten is phenomenal! She and her two assistants really made our day memorable! They were very professional and efficient! We ran ahead of schedule and still got all of the shots we needed so we got to play around and do other cool stuff! She really listens to what shots you want to get and follows through. She even cares what shots your parents want as well! I couldn't have asked for a better team of photographers!

Kirsten is super duper fun, easy going and really listens to what her brides want and care about. She is good at capturing the moment and getting the guys into it as well. She is very professional and overly reasonably priced for the quality she provides. Absolutely amazing at editing. I use her for everything now :)

Kirsten and her assistant did a fantastic job with my wedding & reception. My husband is a bit of a challenge to work with when attempting to take his picture. They made sure to keep the shoots lively and had the guys do football stances & other amusing poses to keep them entertained. They were very flexible with all of the pictures I requested with different family members and my wedding party - which I'm sure was a bit annoying!
Kirsten is cute, fun and a joy to be around. She is always coming up with different ideas that turn into amazing pictures. She is young enough to still have fun doing what she loves, but mature enough to trust her with such a special day.
I've recommended her to several of my family and friends over the last few years. She books up fast! If you are lucky enough to get her, you will be thrilled with your pictures and the experience!

Three years ago we used Kirsten Wray Photography for our wedding with a recommendation through a friend. She was absolute fabulous! She captured our day so perfectly! Very professional and connects with you in a way that makes you feel very comfortable with her! Our photos are just gorgeous and we are no models! People comment on them all the time!
During our planning kirsten was very flexiable; driving 2.5 hours north to do our engagement session! We ran into an issue with another bride who switched her day to mine and Kirsten made it work so we both were happy!
We now have used kirsten for two other sessions: maternity shoot and recently our newborn/family photo shoot!
Her photos are outside the box and fun and she is always open to ideas you have!
We can't say enough positive things about Kirsten Wray and we will continue to use her in the future!!

EXCELLENT!! I cannot speak highly enough of this photographer. She is super creative and has an uncanny way of thinking outside the box when taking photos. Yes, she does "traditional" photos, but adds in a great mix of fun, different shots. Her packages can include photo CD's, photo books, etc. Kirsten and her staff are very professional, timely, and passionate. I would highly recommend Kirsten Wray Photography for your next event! :-)

Kirsten is one of the best in the industry! We used her for 2 engagement sessions, our wedding, and a family session within a year of each other. She took the time to ask what shots we wanted and appropriate locations. For our wedding, she captured moments my husband and I completely forgot about, but were happy to relive. Kirsten does a really good job photographing any and everything without being told. She is also flexible and will photograph groups or specific moments when needed. My husband and I got married on June 24, 2017 and had Cassy and her assistant Kaylie as our photographers. Originally, we had a completely different photographer, but unfortunately had to find a replacement in March! Kirsten responded within the same night of emailing her saying that she had availability for our wedding day. She was a lifesaver!! Seriously, no couple wants to hear the bad news that a wedding vendor has to back out at the last minute. We live in Florida and she worked with us so well. She is very flexible and honest, and that is what we wanted. On our wedding day, Cassy and Kaylie showed up on time, which was relieving. Cassy took the reigns and started taking pictures and was "in charge". At that point, a bride and groom are so tired of making decisions, so it was SO nice to have her guide our day. We had a HUGE wedding party and family and they managed them all well. Cassy also stayed longer then we had originally planned and we appreciated that. The only negative feedback that we have is that we did not get a lot of time to do our family pictures, which isn't necessarily our photographers fault. Like I said it was a lot of people we were trying to herd. We would've liked some more time taking family photos. Overall, they were fantastic and I would HIGHLY recommend Kirsten Wray Photography. Herself and her staff are delightful to work with.

Kirsten was so much fun to work with. She was always willing to talk or listen to any concerns that I had. My only complaint would be wanting to start at the Church 2.5 hours before the ceremony. I am also different and don't need a ton of family and wedding party pictures so that could be just me. But she was helpful with working with that. I haven't seen the pictures yet but I am sure they are great. My only other word of advice is find a couple poses you like because she did the same one a lot, but I don't know what everything actually looks like. She is super friendly and we had some nosy relatives and she was great working with other people! She really is so nice which is great when you are stressed!

I hired Kirsten after reading all the wonderful reviews and looking through her pictures. She was great at being prepared and friendly for the wedding and was very punctual. Unfortunately there was a mishap with our pictures. It wasn't treated as professionally as it should have and it took about 7 months to finally resolve. Her pictures were beautiful and I think her pricing was very reasonable for the quality of pictures. Unfortunately this was a bad experience. I will suggest that if you have a Christian wedding at a church be a little specific about pictures you want during the ceremony. There were some moments that were missed.

We had a very unfortunate situation happen with our pictures. Many important moments from the wedding ceremony were lost due to an issue with the upload process. If this was caught early enough on in the review process, I would think the pictures could have been salvaged. We were very patient with the situation, giving Kirsten almost 7 months after our wedding day, before we requested a final resolution. It also seemed as though more attention was paid toward the reception than the service whereas we would have preferred the opposite.
When we met for the final approval of the book, we were told that the wedding album would look great and have extra pictures for our troubles which was much appreciated. Unfortunately, the book that was created was not the final version we approved with Kirsten.
We realize everyone makes mistakes and problems can exist in many forms. We understand the process to recover the pictures might take some time as well. Ultimately, it seemed like updates only occurred when we reached out and the responses were reactive instead of proactive. We hoped that the book would end the relationship on a good note but the mistakes in there seemed to be the icing on the cake of our experience post-wedding day.
Overall, The pictures we received were beautiful and she was punctual on the wedding day. I am sure this is a one-time mistake and its unfortunate that it had to occur for us.
